Buck is caught dealing cookies to the B-Shift team by Bobby and Athena, but when Athena learns they are from her great-grandmothers recipe, Buck is grilled on how he gained access to the top secret recipe and secrets are revealed.

After the lawsuit, Buck can't take the tension from the 118 and disappears. 3 years later he returns after a crisis as a different person. He has full intentions of leaving before the 118 can interfere, but 3 years has changed the 118 as well. And this time they don't intend to let Buck leave without a fight.

Alisa Diaz and her family have moved to Los Angeles, California from El Paso, Texas. They wanted to start fresh after all the pressure they were experiencing from her husband's family and most importantly, a fresh start for the most wonderful child in the world. Eddie joins the 118 as a dual-certified firefighter while Alisa worked from home to watch over Christopher. AU-ish.

(Post Season 4 ending, Buck and Eddie are already in a relationship) As Buck and Eddie were sorting through Bucks things, He found his old Letterman Jacket that brought up terrible memories he never wanted to think about again. And after work the next day, he feels like his mind is crumbling with negative emotions

He was tired and had simply sleepwalked. He wanted to go for a midnight swim, but did not want to swim in only his boxer-briefs. He thought he saw something and as a first responder, he had an obligation to investigate. He was lonely. He was hurt. He was so exhausted.

Because for all the personal growth and maturity he had acquired during the past three years since starting at the 118, the ignored and abandoned child in him couldn't live with going through the same experience-the same pain-again. Between keeping control and keeping his family sane, Bobby is loosing the sanity he fought so hard to regain. Summary sucks, but Story is better.

Eddie and Christopher Diaz are starting over in a new state. But when their past threatens to catch up with them, how will they stay safe?
