Bones is haunted by Spock's ghost. He feels Spock's presence off and on throughout the day, periodically knows beyond doubt what the Vulcan would say or do, craves foods he's never eaten and Vulcan mantras drift through his head. He latches on to the idea of returning Spock's soul like a desperate man, but each step of Spock's return brings its own trials and they rub him raw.

Bones is coming back to the Enterprise from helping with an epidemic. The Captain of the Bellflower gets aspirations and he has to deal with an Away Team mishap. This gains him a friend.

Trapped in an unfamiliar place, but assisted by a familiar face ,the away crew must find answers before their time runs out... And that's before the dead start to rise.
