Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Short chapter, but you guys deserve something.

Hermione is hard subject, good or bad you guys will find out.

I feel like Hermione grew up in a conservative household, when it came to socially issues like gays and abortions. So that's how I'm portraying her.

"Draco are you okay?" Harry asked, staring at his lover with a concerned expression. "You haven't said a word since we stepped on the train."

Draco in return let out a sigh tearing his gaze from the window and biting his lip before looking at Harry, "I'm just worried about us. We'll be in different houses, where our friends may be trying to separate us. Not to mention Dumbledore, Harry he tried to kill us who knows what hell try to do next." He said.

"You worry to much." Harry said, pulling Draco into his lap. "I love you, and nobody will come between us."

"What about Tom?"

"I don't quite love him yet, he did kill my parents, but maybe over time I could."

"I understand."

"Regardless of how I feel right now, I will never leave you or Tom now matter what anybody says or does."

"You might lose friends, you've already lost one!" Draco protested, standing up.

"Anybody who doesn't support mean was never really my friend." Harry said, his eyes glazing over as he thought of Hermione.

"Harry!" Hermione screeched, "First you side with the deatheaters, now...this. It's blasphemous! I don't know which is worse the fact that you're a deatheater, or the fact that you're you're..."

"I'm what Hermione? Gay?" Harry said.

"Don't say that! You can't be, you were in love with Cho. You're the boy-who-lived, it;s not socially right for you to be gay." Hermione answered.

"I don't give a damn about what's socially right. Its my life and I'll do whatever I please."

"Disgusting. Harry I thought you were better than that. It has to be some kind of spell. Was it Voldemort or Malfoy, Dumbledore should be able to. This could ruin things for you. Who knows how the wizarding world will react."

"Hermione listen to yourself. I doubt the wizarding world will care much. Hagrid is a half-giant, if they didn't care about a human and a giant shacking up together they won't care if two boys do."

"Ron!" She shouted turning to him.

"Hermione, nobody cares. We live in a world with goblins, vampires, and mermaids."

"It's wrong! I bet your're gay too aren't you Ron!"

"Hermione-"

"No, its sick and wrong. All of you are sick!" She screeched

Harry smirked, "I suggest you walk away now because what I'm about to do is way past sick and wrong." He grinned kissing Draco.

"Hello, earth to Harry." Draco called out, waving his hand in front of his face. "Are you in there?"

"'M'fine." Harry replied shaking his head.

"Who do you think the new DADA teacher will be?" Draco asked.

"I don't know. It was Barty Crouch Jr, who knows what other crazy teacher Dumbledore will hire this time." Harry chuckled.

At that moment the door to their compartment slid open, revealing Ginny.

"Hello Ginny." Harry greeted.

"So it's true, you're shacking up with Draco Malfoy." She muttered.

"I'm not shacking up with Draco we're together."

"Call it whatever you want it won't last." She said. "How could it? He's the son of one of you-know-who's most loyal servant, and you're the boy-who-lived. It won't last, but don't worry I'll be here to comfort you when you need it." She finished, leaving the compartment.

"This is exactly what I was talking about." Draco said. "People are constantly going to be trying to break us up."

"Then we won't let them succeed, who cares about them, as long as we're happy they don't matter." Harry said.

"I suppose so." Draco muttered, as Ron stepped into their apartment with, Pansy and Blaise.

"Harry Potter, we meet again." Pansy said, smiling at him while she took a seat next to Draco.

"So mate, how is it being married to ferret face and no nose." Ron asked, sitting next to Harry, while Blaise followed suit.

"Well, as you can see for yourself. Draco is no ferret and Tom does have a nose."

"You know what I mean."

"It's actually pretty fine, like having a normal relationship, as normal a relationship one can have being in a relationship with Draco Malfoy and Tom Riddle."

"Really?"

"Yes, really." Harry sighed, "It's really awkward being married to the man who killed my parents. I can get a long with Draco, but Tom is a whole another story. But what's done is done, nothing much I can do now but live with it."

Ron looked at his friend with new found respect, not to say he didn't respect him before, but he knew had it been himself, he would have been complaining and whining endlessness about the unfairness of it all. The Tri-Wizard tournament had opened his eyes, Harry Potter wasn't special he was just a boy the same as him who often found himself in messy situations.
