"This is more dire than I first thought." Hilda said putting a cold hand towel on Beel forehead who is in bed as we sat on the floor beside him.
"What do you mean?" asked Tatsumi.
"Look at your hand." Tatsumi looks at it. "The seal has disappeared, that's proof that the link between you and the young master has been cut. Meaning the way he is now, even if he wishes to draw out any demonic energy he cannot to so."
"R-really?" I asked.
"The fever might be the cause..." she trails off in thought and I noticed that Tatsumi has a big ass smile on his face.
Now is not the time to be happy about being free from him. I smack the backside of his head and glared as he glares at me for a minute.
"Can we fix him?" he asked looking at Hilda.
"I'm not sure."
"I thought you said that this is just a summer cold." he points out. "Will he be fine if we leave it alone?"
"I don't know." she shakes her head.
"Well I guess it doesn't matter, after all he is a Demon king its not like he'll die or anything." he grins.
"I SAID I DON'T KNOW!" she screams out.
...We didn't say anything, I mean how can we? We never seen Hilda get like this before.
She's worried about Beel...like me, she feels helpless not knowing what to do. I grab Beel's towel and put it into the bowl that is filled with water and ice before putting the towel back on his forehead.
"Wait than...that means if I go more than 15 meters away from him, I'll be fine?"
"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" She screams again standing up with me following and she grabs Tatsumi and threw him out the window. I would be worry for him but he had it coming and plus I'm pissed that he said that.
"AHH!" Tatsumi yells before hearing a thud and we looked out the window. "You bitch! What the hell are you..."
"Get out, I'm disappointed in you." she spoke coldly. "Don't you EVER come back here again."
She sat back down and as I glared at Tatsumi for a second before doing the same.
"Young...master." Hilda spoke quietly after a few minutes of silents. "I'll do anything to help you, even if it cost me my life."
I put a hand on her shoulder and she looks at me.
"Um..." I tilt my head a bit in thought. "Is there a doctor in Hell that may know anything about this?"
Hilda's eyes lit up and stood up.
"I'll be back!" and with that she disappeared.
"Please...come back to us, Beel." I muttered gently patting his head. "I think I should go find Tatsumi...and beat the shit out of him."
I stood up, grabbing my wallet and a blue hoodie and head out the door, walking down the stairs seeing Mr. and Mrs. Oga sitting on the couch watching TV.
"I'm heading to the store for a bit and Beel is sleeping." I said putting my shoes on and head out the door not waiting for a reply. "Now to find him."
After awhile of walking I hear a crashing sound to my left so I headed there but hidden after all who knows whose there.
I gasped at seeing Tatsumi getting up off of a pile of garbage and taking a swing at some guy with sunglasses (At night, really?) but he steps back avoiding the fist.
"Oh my...that was close." sunglasses taunts at Tatsumi. "You'r not too bad but...*he starts running at Tatsumi* you've got ways to go!"
Before sunglasses could get to Tatsumi, he threw a garbage bag at him for a distraction so he can kick him but sunglasses quickly ducked down to void it!
"What the hell...?" I muttered surpised to see someone but Hilda to be able to dodge his attacks like this.
"Are you finished already?" sunglasses grins and just inches away to punch Tatsumi in the stomach when a cell phone rings causing him stop, turn around walking away a bit to answer. "Hello, Aizawa speaking...yeah thanks for calling...HUH?! ARE YOU FOR REAL?!...I understood, I'm on my way right now!" he hangs up and turns his head to Tatsumi. "Sorry but something has come up so let's play again next time."
Aizawa starts walking away.
"Wait!" Tatsumi calls out to him glaring and Aizawa stops but doesn't look back at him. "What...What is your relations to Toujou?"
"I'm his number one subordinate or something like that." Aizawa waves and starts walk away.
"What was that all about?" I asked walking to my boyfriend.
"What are you doing here?" he asked me with annoyance.
"Looking for you as I was going to the store." I said.
He nods.
"Fine, but you know I don't like you going out alone at night."
"I know but it never stop me before I moved in with you." I shrugged grabbing his hand, pulling him to the direction to the store. "So are you going to tell me what happened back there or I have go find the guy and harass him for info?"
Tatsumi sighs and drops my hand to put his arm around my shoulders. "He said he wanted to test me."
"Hm." was all I said.
I wonder what this means?
"We're home." I called out once we've stepped inside.
"Oh hey." Misaki said from the living room. "Where's Hilda? I thought she was with you guys."
"Huh?" Tatsumi blinks at his sister in wonder.
"I was going to have her go buy some soy sauce...I wonder where she'd go." said Misaki and Tatsumi and I went to the bedroom where Beel is still sleeping with a fever.
"That damn wench.." Tatsumi trails off looking at the baby. "She left him all alone to go somewhere."
"Er...well. She left before I did..." I trailed off and he gives me a look of annoyance. "I told them I was going out and that Baby Beel is sleeping."
"You guys were making such a big deal over this." He sighs and sits on the floor beside the water bowl before grabbing Beel's dry towel, putting it in the water, taking it out and squeezed it then puts it back on Beel's forehead.
"I know...sorry." I muttered feeling bad for leaving Beel.
-the next morning-
I got woking up by Tatsumi shaking me, so when I opened my eyes to see him grinning down at me.
"W-what is it Tatsumi?" I yawned out as I sat up looking for Beel but he's nowhere to be found. "Where's...Baby Beel?"
"That's what I woke you up for. They're gone!"
"Gone?" I asked feeling sadness creeping up inside me.
"Yup, meaning they're not in the house." he smirks at me. "They went back to Hell! We're free!"
"..." Dread fills me as I stare blankly at my lap. They're...gone. But what about Beel, i-is he all better? No, if that was true then Hilda would've made it known and stay. Then...why did they leave us...
"Oh and get dressed." Tatsumi said not noticing anything wrong with me. "Furuichi is on his way here."
"What? Gone?" asked Furuichi in surprised. "What do you mean...they're gone?"
"Yea. When the sun started to come out this morning, They just disappeared without a trace." "Tatsumi smiles happy to be free of the baby...but as for me I just there quiet not talking or doing anything really...
Ring, Ring!
I grabbed my cell phone and answered it not looking at caller ID.
"Hello..." I said tiredly not wanting to talk to anyone at all.
"HIMEKO!" said the booming voice that makes policeman shake and fall to their knees.
'D-Daddy?!" My eyes widened snapping me out of depression for the moment and that's when Misaki comes in the livingroon kicking Tatsumi in the face screaming at him but I quickly left the room to go to the front door and outside. "How are you and mom doing?"
"We were doing fine until we called only for telling us that you and Tatsumi are out with YOUR BABY!" mom spoke out letting me know that I'm on speaker with them.
SHIT! I panicked.
"I-its not like that I swear!" I said biting my lower lip a bit. "We got thrown into taking care of the baby...*Starting to feel depressed again* and Tatsumi's family and everyone else thinks that its ours, even thou we tell them that its not ours but they keep saying that the baby looks like Tatsumi and I abit."
"Hm...I don't know..." dad mutters out. "Are you sure that Tatsumi-"
"DAD!" I cut him off glaring at my cell. "He wouldn't do anything like that, I know him!"
"We know that, darlin." mom said calmly. "But you know what your father is like. But you still have your v-"
"YES!" I shrieked in embrassment. "I-if I have to I'll prove it!"
"No...We trust you." dad sighs out with mom making a noise of agreement. "It just we're disappointed in you for not telling us about this."
"I'm sorry..." I said feeling a bit better knowing my parents aren't mad at me. "I was going to but its been busy here with the baby and school."
"We understand its alot of work." mom chuckles most likely thinking of when I was a baby. "So what's the baby's name?"
"Oh...um his name is Beelzebub." I said feeling miserable again. "But we call him Beel for short."
"That's...interesting name." dad said arkwardly.
"But its a one-of-a-kind name that fits you and Tatsumi." mom chimes in giggling and I chuckled a bit.
"We...didn't name him." I explained. "He was alright been name when we got him."
"Ah that explains it." dad said.
"Um... I would like to stay and chat more but..." I trailed off thinking about Beel, not knowing if he's safe and better...
"Yes we understand, you need to take care of Beel." mom cheerfully said but not knowing that it made me feel worse for losing him.
"Oh and as soon as we're done with your mother's movie. We'll be on our way home, so then you can introduce us to our grandchild!"
After that I dropped the phone.
They're coming home...to see Beel only Beel is no longer here anymore... Normally I would be excited to see them but now...now is not the time. I thought out in more panick and quickly picked the phone back up.
"S-sorry I dropped the phone in surprise." I muttered feeling the tears threaten to come out.
"Haha. Excite too, huh?" dad laughs.
"Of course she is hon. Anyways we'll let you go for now, tell everyone the news and we love you."
"Love you and dad too." I blankly said hearing dad say his love for me and hung up.
Shit, mom and dad are so going to be mad when they find out that Beel is gone for good! This is my fault...if only I was a better mother...then maybe this whole thing wouldn't have happen... I put my phone away and put my hands on my face. I'm the worse mother ever!
So sorry for a short chapter and for the late update but I blame the slow internet, the summer, my other stories that I'm working on and that I'm a bit excited that next month is my birthday...I'll be 23...wow I'm getting old...*Shakes my head* Anyways hope you guys have a great summer or whatever season it is for you guys, but expect the next chapter to be out next month or maybe a bit earlier I'm not sure...
Anyways please review and be nice about it, it really does help motivate me to work on my stories.
