Hermione was torn between anger and sadness.
Severus frowned. "I still find you attractive… and intelligent…."
Hermione scoffed.
"We didn't ask for this. The Ministry-"
"I know. I know, Severus." Hermione sighed.
Severus cupped her face in his hands.
"I'm sorry what I have to give isn't enough."
