"Just read this." Severus thrust the letter into her hands and left, annoyed that she had had the last word again.
Hermione-
I write in haste as I am sure your mother is writing a scathing reply. I know I don't see eye to eye with you either but it would have to take something important to make you write to us.
You know I don't approve of your lifestyle, Hermione, but it has been a while since I've seen you.
Come visit. I'll make sure your mother behaves.
