Tony and Ziva step into the bullpen with blank expressions on their faces. Ziva's eyes were dull and red. She had water merks down her cheeks. She sat at her desk and stared at her computer screen. She sat there for 10 minutes before McGee, Gibbs and Abby walked in. Noticing their sullen expressions he joked "Who died?" not expecting an answer but getting one. Ziva spoke for the first time since gettiing on the plane answering "Monique" Before breaking down again. Abby ran over and wrapped her up in a comforting hug. Ziva gripped onto Abby's shirt like a lifeline. Gibbs walked over and put his arm around ziva's shoulder, like a father to a daughter. McGee stood there lost before going to Tony. "What happened?" he asked. Gibbs and Abby listened to the answer as well.
"We were at the plane and the next thing I know Ziva's running to Monique and I heard gun shots and Ziva screamed. I ran after her, when i'd reached her she, she , she was crying over Monique's body. I grabbed her and went back the the plane." By the time Tony had finished they all had tears running down their faces. They were there all night, the next morning when people started arriving they had fallen asleep. Ziva was sitting on the floor with her knees to her chest, shuddering in her sleep every so often. Gibbs was on her right with McGee next to him. Abby was on her left with Tony next to her. They were all huddled together, A message that they were a family and they would get through this. Together.
