Izuku looked around, at the same place he had been hundreds of times. A monster stood in front of him, however, not a monster in the conventional sense. A monster responsible for all of Izuku's pain, resentment, and hurt. The monster let out a breath of fire, and Izuku curled into a ball as the fire enveloped his back. He screamed out in pain and threw out his hand; the monster before him fell to the ground, and he let out a roar. Shadows enveloped the room, and hands grabbed Izuku and pulled him down. He felt himself sinking into the floor, and he woke up in a sweat. No matter how many times he had this dream, he was still taken aback by the shock.
Izuku looked at himself in the mirror, he had dyed his hair black at a very young age, he idolized his father who had black hair and dyed it to match. He now resented it, he turned around and looked at the scars on his back, they only represented bad memories. Today was his last day of school, finally he would be free from the hell of Aldera Junior High. However when he looked at his clock he realized something, it was way too early to go to school. His nightmare had caused him to wake up at 4:00 AM. He decided to take an early morning stroll because there was no way he was going back to sleep.
