Chapter 1
Vexen POV
This is it, the day that I'll finally confess Marluxia. I'll admit that I'm really nervous about this, I mean I've had a crush on Marluxia, my best friend since middle school but I just could never work up enough courage to tell him before. Throughout the whole day at school I was so nervous anytime I was around Marluxia and I could barely contain my emotions and control myself enough to not grab him and pull him into the janitors closet or push him up against a wall and make out with him.
It was finally the last class of the day with only twenty minutes left and I'm sitting right next to Marluxia. I try to control my thoughts as I listen to what he's talking about although I don't get the gist of it, something about how he just wants to go home and relax without having to deal with his homework. In my head I'm thinking of all the things we could do instead of homework like making out or having sex (consensual of course). After Marluxia is done his part of the conversation I decide that this is the time when I should ask him. "Hey Marluxia, can you meet me behind the school when the bell rings?" He looks over at me with those beautiful blue eyes of his and silently nods.
Time skip end of class
'riiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggg' The bell signaling that class was finally over sounded and I grabbed my bag as other students were quick to exit the classroom. As I walked out of the classroom I saw Marluxia stayed behind to talk to the teacher Mr. Luxord. I continue to walk down the hallway like everyone else only a little bit slower because I would have preferred walking with Marluxia instead of myself.
When I finally stepped outside I immediately turned to the left and walked behind the school to wait for Marluxia. After a little bit of waiting I finally saw my beautiful best friend turn the corner and walk over to me. "Well, what did you have to say Vexen?" 'Oh how I love how my name sounds coming from his lips.' I think before I say anything. I decide to take a deep breath before I say what I want to say and then, "I love you Marluxia, I always have and I always will." To say he's shocked is an understatement, I mean I did just confess my feelings for him. "Oh Vexen, I'm really sorry but-" I don't let him finish as I lean in to kiss him. 'Gosh, it's even better than I imagined. I love him so much.' I think as I try to push my tongue into his mouth. When this happens Marluxia forcefully pushes me away from him.
Marluxia POV
"Oh Vexen, I'm sorry but-" My eyes widen as I feel his lips on mine before I can finish my sentence and I can't help but stand still and let him kiss me. It was only when I felt his tongue swipe across my lips when I finally snapped out of it and pushed him away. "Vexen why did you kiss me?" I asked with clear confusion on my face. He opens his eyes and tells me once again how he loves me. "Vexen, I'm sorry but you know I'm straight. I don't date guys even if he is my best friend." I firmly tell him. I then walk away with my backpack in hand, leaving my best friend standing by the school alone.
