The Powerpuff Girls have reached junior year of high school, and along with continuing to protect Townsville, they have even more challenges. From former enemies to close friends, the Rowdyruff Boy they together face dark truths and fears but find trust and perhaps even love along the way. Chemical X bonds them together but it comes with a few more growing pains.

Hi Everyone! This is a new story I will be writing. If you are coming from my other story, please note that it will be going under a complete rewrite, it wasn't really delivering the message and tone that I wanted to and I really wanted to change the writing style of it. I have a new prepared schedule for updating this story so just know that a new chapter will be added to the story every Tuesday and Friday. If I need to add a chapter on any other days I will let you know at the end of each chapter in the Author's Notes, so please read those every now and then to stay updated.

Please feel free to write in the reviews any fun ideas or headcanons of yours that you would like me to input in the story! I really appreciate you being here, but I would like to ask that you be patient with the development of this story.

Now, the characters in this story will all have been seen or mentioned in the original 1998 Powerpuff Girls series. Obviously, noticeable characters will be the Powerpuff Girls and the Rowdyruff Boys, but if you don't recognize other characters feel free to look them up! There will be a few references to some of the episodes of the series, and I will name the season and the episode that event occurred at the end of the chapter. I don't have any designs for any characters, but feel free to find any fanart of them that you like! I will have descriptions of what some of the characters look like to give you an idea. I absolutely adore leecheedoodles fanart of them, so I would go and check her out!
