The following night, Batman, Batgirl, and the Flash made their way to the Gotham Observatory in the hopes that they would catch Mr. Freeze.

"Do these plans usually go well?" Barry asked as the auction began, speaking only to Reagan. He knew better than to question any version of Bruce Wayne.

Reagan shrugged, "It depends. Sometimes they go off without a hitch and others, not so much. Let's hope tonight is one of those excellent plans."

She spoke too soon, though, as the lights and music shifted to focus on one of the dancing apes standing on top of the ivy bridge.

"This isn't part of the show," Reagan commented as she prepared for herself for a potential battle, while noticing the crowd was completely consumed.

As the ape continued dancing, it removed portions of its costume until the only thing left was a very attractive red-headed woman in a barely-there green costume.

The stranger dropped from the bridge and straight into the arms of the other dancers. The young men flipped her over and laid down on the ground allowing her to walk on their backs until she was on the stage alongside the heroes.

The woman blew a kiss to Barry, Bruce and the crowd before she took the microphone from Gossip Gurdy along with the next diamond from Commissioner Gordon.

"I'll take it from here," the woman began.

"What do I call you, beautiful?" Gordon inquired causing Reagan to roll her eyes.

The woman gave the older man a wink, "Poison, Poison Ivy," she replied before turning her attention to the crowd, "Some lucky boys about to hit the honeypot. I'll include an evening of my company for the winner. I'll bring everything you see here and everything you don't," she added suggestively.

Bids began emanating from the crowd at an unheard of pace until Bruce put his hat in the ring, "One million dollars."

Barry challenged him and the two went back and forth for a few moments before Reagan stepped in.

"What's your game?" Reagan asked as she took a step closer to the woman who had taken over the show. "I don't think you're here to meet the man of your dreams," she added, noticing the glare Bruce was sending her way.

Ivy took a step back, closer to Batgirl, "I don't have an ulterior motive, sweet girl. You're just threatened because I took the attention away from you."

Reagan shook her head, "No, that's not it, doll. I think you're here for something bad and I'm ready to challenge you in order to keep things peaceful at this event. Or, are you scared to fight me?"

Ivy pulled a knife from her hair, "Oh darling, I'm not frightened of you at all."

Bruce interjected, "Batgir, there's no reason to suspect that this woman is a threat. Why don't we all take a step back?"

Before either of the women could react to what he suggested, a vehicle, much like a tank, blasted through the side of the building. Mr. Freeze had taken the bait.

"Go take care of that," Reagan scoffed as she moved forward, swinging her leg in the air in an attempt to knock the knife from Ivy's hand.

Bruce turned to Barry, "Can you get him?"

Barry nodded allowing Bruce to turn his attention back to Reagan, just in time for him to see Ivy's knife slice through Batgirl's suit, cutting her calf and drawing blood.

Ivy thought that the injury gave her the upper hand but Batgirl was too quick. Reagan dropped her injured leg to the floor, putting her weight on the other one as she threw her fist into Ivy's perfect face.

"We're done here," Bruce snapped as he scooped Reagan into his arms and got them out of there and back to the Batcave, hoping Barry would be able to apprehend Freeze.

"What were you thinking, attacking that woman with no justifiable reason?" Bruce chastised her as she changed out of her suit and back into sweats.

Reagan sighed, "You couldn't see it because she had you and Barry under some kind of spell, but she's not good news for Gotham. I'm sorry if you're upset but I stand by my choices."

He cocked his head to the side, suppressing a smile, "Was your gut feeling that she was evil the only reason that you intervened in the bidding? Let me see your leg," he added as he gestured for her to take a seat as he pulled out the first aid kit.

"No, that wasn't the only reason," she replied, her voice low as she placed her foot on another chair so Bruce could evaluate her wound, "I was jealous which I know is insane since I'm the one who always says we can't be a couple," she confessed.

Bruce stayed silent as he looked over her injury, "Do you want me to numb this? You're going to need stitches."

"No, go ahead," she replied as she bit down on her lower lip to brace herself for the oncoming pain.

As Bruce worked on closing her wound, he finally addressed what she'd said, "You wouldn't have to be jealous if you'd just agree to go out with me like I've been asking for the past three years. I don't know if you've noticed but I haven't had a girlfriend since you took on the role of Batgirl," he revealed, causing her to break eye contact.

Reagan took a deep breath from the pain and to buy herself time before she answered, "It's not that easy, Bruce. We work together and if we date then you'll worry about me while we're out there keeping the city safe, just like I'll be doing for you. The people of Gotham are more important than our feelings," she stated before she winced from his actions.

"That's the thing, Reagan," he replied as he tied off her stitches, "I already worry about you. You need to think of another reason," he stood and offered his hand to her. She took it and stood with his help, "I'm going to walk you to your room, but think about what I said. Can you do that for me?"

Before Reagan could reply, Barry zoomed into the room, "I got Freeze. He's locked up. Do you two still need me?"
