"Oh, Victoire, I confess my great love for you!" tried out Teddy. "How's that sound?" he asked his friends.

"Sounds great," they replied, giggling.

"Good," said Teddy. "I'll tell her now." He marched over to Victoire Delacour-Weasley, the girl he had had a crush on for forever.

"Oh, Victoire, I confess my great love for you!" he exclaimed.

"And I to you, Teddy Lupin!" exclaimed Victoire in return. Teddy looked lovestruck. "I'm kidding," said Victoire. "We're just friends."

Teddy sulked off to his friends. "'We're just friends,'" he mocked. "But I love her! How will she ever know?"

"Just tell her."

"Just kiss her."

"Just punch her."

"No! I'd never punch her. I can't kiss her, that would be way too embarrassing. And rule number one for boys is that you never tell a girl that you like her, it makes you look like an idiot!" said Teddy.

"Excuses, excuses," said Robert, one of his friends. "Just tell her, like I said. She won't care."

"Fine," said Teddy. He strode back over to Victoire. "I have a crush on you," said Teddy.

"You do? Oh, that's sweet. But I really think of you as a brother, Teddy."

"A- A brother?"

"Yes, a brother. But we're supposed to love our brothers, aren't we?" asked Victoire.

"Yeah, but- not like that," said Teddy.

Victoire laughed when she saw Teddy's hair turn pink in embarrassment. "Sometimes like that," she said, and leaned over to kiss Teddy on the forehead.
