A/N I'm total fail with schedule updates, I know. I'm sorry. Life has been crazy and RL people won't stop bugging me. But I am determined to make this work and finish the challenge. The music started and I walked down the beach. I searched for those bright green eyes that would shine like beacons when they met mine. Instead, I was met with pity stares by our guests–our families, our friends.
You didn't show.
It was supposed to be our happily ever after, not the worst day of my life.
Barefoot and panicked, I ran back to our room and stopped in the doorway when I saw the white folded piece of paper on my pillow.
