Prompt #9
"Sit still!" she said as she loomed over him.
Moving in on him again, he immediately squirmed out from under her.
"You're making this more difficult than it has to be..." she warned, placing her hands on her hips.
"You shouldn't be doing this to begin with." he countered, dodging her again.
"It needs to be done!" she said as she pinned him down under her once again.
"Why?"
"Because it's too long!"
After a few more minutes of struggling, he finally gave up.
"Sakura..."
"Relax!" she assured him. "Don't you trust me?"
His pure look of skepticism was enough of an answer for her.
"I've done it plenty of times..." she tried.
"To who?"
"Well...myself."
"No. Let me up."
Using his sand, he quickly immobilized her and calmly got up.
"Gaara..." she whined after his retreating form, "it's just a haircut!"
After a few moments of silence, Sakura wondered just how long he was going to leave her like that.
"Gaara," she called out sweetly, testing the waters. "Aren't you going to let me go?"
"Eventually." he replied from the other room.
"When?"
After a slight pause, he reappeared in the doorway, "Trust me."
"Very funny..." she said, narrowing her eyes at his smug face.
She had a nagging feeling that it was going to be a long night...
