AN: So, this is another chapter for you guys. Thanks for reviewing the last one. I am pretty nervous about this one. I am not sure if you are going to like it or not. Let's see what happens...

Chapter 29: Being There For You

"Are you sure, you want this?"

I asked Tyler for the fifth time within five minutes. When Tyler told me that he wants to become a werewolf, I had explained to him everything more elaborately. I told him about vampires and witches as well. And I also made it clear to him that being a werewolf is indeed a curse. The pain of turning every full moon would leave him completely exhausted. Even though I wanted myself that Tyler would trigger the curse and become a werewolf and therefore I shouldn't discourage him at all, however as he decided this on his own I wanted Tyler to know everything from beforehand. And make him understand what exactly he was choosing to do. Tyler however just nodded his head like previous times. He had his mind made.

"Look, I know this sounds crazy to you that I want this for me. But my whole life I've never felt belonged anywhere. Not in my life, not with my family or friends or relatives. I've always felt out of place. I didn't know why until now. It's because I don't belong in the normal life of a human, I never did. I belong in the supernatural world. Because that's what I am. A supernatural being. And I don't want to deny it. I want to accept it and feel belonged somewhere. Even though it's a curse, I want to embrace this" explained Tyler but I remained completely quiet. It led Tyler to believe that he needed to try harder to persuade me on this matter.

"Jacq, you have been there for me in my worst times. You are the only one I can trust and you are the only one who I could hope, will understand me. Please don't leave my side this time when I really need you the most. Please try and understand that, I want this." I stopped Tyler from saying more.

"Tyler, I get it. You want this and if that's what you really want then I will help you okay. I will support you through the entire thing." Tyler's face lit up immediately as I said that. He grinned happily at me. Then he came over to me and engulfed me in a bear hug out of excitement and happiness. I returned the hug however didn't let it last long and pulled away quickly. After all we had a lot of work to do since the decision is made. And we shouldn't waste time hugging each other at all.

"We need to plan this out properly Tyler. I can't let you kill someone innocent." I said and Tyler nodded to that right away. Clearly he was going to depend on me for everything now that I chose to help him. I inhaled a deep breath and started making a plan in my mind while pacing restlessly from one side to the other. Tyler just sat there as he kept looking at me without making a single sound. It kind of looked funny from afar actually. Tyler looked like a worried kid and I was looking like an angry and worried mother ready to scold the child for his mischief. After a while, I kind of sorted out a plan.

"Okay first thing's first. We need Mason gone. He won't let you trigger the curse." I said which made Tyler frown at me with confusion.

"What do you mean gone? You mean killed?" asked Tyler with shocked tone of voice. I slapped my forehead and growled at him loudly.

"No, idiot I mean gone from here, from Mystic Falls." I said and Tyler nodded with a 'Oh' sound.

"But how are we gonna do that?" He asked thinking of something himself.

"You have to give him the moonstone. Mason is actually here for that. He will be gone once he has it." I said that to Tyler for two reasons. One to make Mason leave town and another reason, I needed Mason to have the stone and let Katherine know about it or have it because that's when the story would really start to get interesting. Besides we will never be able to trap Katherine in the tomb if the plotline doesn't go according to the show involving the freaking moonstone.

"But why does he really want it? Don't you think we should find out about that first before handing it over to him?" asked Tyler. He was really turning into an eager beaver these days.

"No, Tyler, it doesn't matter. Just give it to him." I said and thankfully he didn't argue further about that and just nodded to me. He agreed to let Mason have the moonstone.

"Then what?" asked Tyler with curiosity in his voice.

"We need to find you someone to kill of course. Someone worth killing. Someone you won't feel guilty about killing." I said and sighed out heavily. Better the person be a looney murderer or a rapist than Sarah or someone relatively innocent. That girl also didn't deserve to die in the show.

"Where are you gonna find someone like that?" asked Tyler curiously. Suddenly a name popped up into my mind 'Tony Kenton'. I vividly remembered him and what Caroline told me about him. I looked back at Tyler.

"Leave that to me." I said to him and Tyler took in a deep breath.

"So, when I am gonna kill someone. Before or after Mason leaves?" asked Tyler and I thought about it for a moment.

"It doesn't matter. We just need to find someone to kill first and keep it a secret from him but he better leave Mystic Falls before your first full moon otherwise he would find out and we would be in great trouble." I explained and Tyler nodded again. I sighed out heavily. It was a lot to take in for one day and it was only early afternoon. I knew more drama would soon follow me.

"Let's get you the moonstone first." I said to Tyler. "It's back in my house. And be careful about everything. Don't let a word slip your tongue about what we are planning to do." I said to Tyler and after that we went to my house and I gave him the moonstone back, the fake one of course.

"I will give it to Mason tonight" said Tyler and I nodded to that.

"Keep pretending that you don't want anything to do with this supernatural world. And please don't kill anyone innocent. Stay completely calm okay." I advised Tyler who nodded in return and left for the Grill where Jeremy must be waiting up for him already. Hopefully they would get along with each other this time. I needed to find Caroline. I needed her help to find the Tony kenton as I had no idea where he was. But Caroline must know. I called Caroline to find out where she was.

"Hey Care, where are you right now?" I asked but she hesitated at first to answer that question.

"I am at the boarding house right now. Damon is trying to kill me and Stefan is trying to stop him. Elena is here too, telling Damon to stop being an asshole but obviously it's not really working" said Caroline with nonchalant tone of voice. Which given the circumstance she just described seemed odd. Why was Caroline so relaxed if Damon was trying to kill her? Did she just get used to of that fact? I rolled my eyes to myself thinking of a murderous Damon. There are only a few people in this world who Damon doesn't wanna kill. Unfortunately Caroline wasn't one of them.

"How come you are so calm then? And how the hell did you get into that situation in the first place?" I asked Caroline, getting curious about it. Care wasn't lying and I knew it. Damon really must be trying to kill her. That's what he does.

"Well what do you know? You put me on the 'keep Mason safe' duty. Damon and Stefan actually tried to kill him in the woods. But I saved him successfully and got myself into this life threatening situation" explained Caroline and I groaned loudly.

"Hang on in there. I am coming." I said and dashed out of the house quickly. It took me about fifteen minutes to reach the boarding house. I ran inside and saw Stefan first.

"Is Caroline still alive?" I asked with casual tone of voice knowing Stefan would never let Damon kill her. Besides she was one of the main characters. She would never die unless something horribly goes wrong.

"Yes, how lucky of me" came Caroline's voice and I rushed inside without wasting any time. I sighed out in relief to see her unharmed and safe. However, Caroline was sitting on the couch with a pissed off face and Elena was right beside her looking worried as ever. Damon on the other hand was nowhere within my sight.

"Is Mason okay?" I asked Caroline with concern in my voice. She nodded vehemently.

"He is still alive and happily doing thrash duties." Caroline said making me chuckle at her tone of voice. I then turned to Stefan and put on a stern look on my face.

"Where is your brother?" I asked him while putting my hands on my hips.

"Right here." The voice came from the door of the underground storeroom. And a blood bag was in his hands. I rolled my eyes at Damon without any hesitation.

"Are you done for today or do you want to have another go at hunting down Mason Lockwood?" I asked Damon with angry tone of voice as he widened his eyes and walked right up to me.

"I wouldn't tell you even if I am planning to" said Damon and I shook my head hopelessly.

"Whatever." I said and looked back at Caroline. "We have got a job to do." I said and motioned for her to come with me. Caroline stood up from the couch but Elena stopped her from walking towards me. Elena then looked pointedly at me and crossed her arms over her chest trying to look like an intimidating big sister.

"You are not going anywhere until we talk about this." Elena said at once with strong tone of voice. Her voice held authority as well.

"Talk about what?" I asked with nonchalant tone of voice.

"Talk about what is going on between you and Mason Lockwood" said Elena straight away. I gaped at her when she said that. Elena said it like I was having an illegal affair with Mason or something like that.

"What is going on between me and Mason? You are kidding me right?" I asked Elena disbelievingly while shaking my head at her.

"Damon and Stefan already told me everything Jacq" said Elena with obvious tone of voice. I felt my temper rising up at that immediately.

"Now what did they tell you? Did they tell you that I am just trying to protect and save an innocent life? Did they tell you that they are being egotistical insensitive jerks as usual?" I said with calm yet enraged tone of voice.

"Jacq!" Elena scolded me right away for my swearing but I shrugged my shoulders at her carelessly.

"What? That's the truth." I said it in a matter of fact tone of voice. Elena took a deep breath to calm herself down and composed herself as well.

"Look Jacq, Damon and Stefan think that Mason is a threat to everyone. It's dangerous for you to be around him. And I agree with them on this. So, you are gonna stay away from him from now on, Okay?" said Elena being mature and all. Hearing that order from Elena, I had literary exploded from inside but I stayed calm outside. I crossed my arms over my chest and looked at Elena with a cool and completely calm face.

"You said being around Mason is dangerous, right? Please mind telling me what you and Stefan are doing?" I asked out loud making Elena frown at me with confusion.

"What do you mean?" She asked being clueless about what I was saying to her.

"Do you think Katherine is blind? That she won't be able to see right through it that all you are doing is pretending to fight with Stefan. When mere human like me could sense the falseness of it. Do you honestly believe that Katherine will believe everything Caroline is reporting to her, without any doubt." I snapped my fingers together to make a sound.

"This is how long, it will take for Katherine to kill Stefan and tear you apart if she wants to. I think she is busy with something else or she would have done it already. And when she is really going to come at you, Stefan won't stand a chance for a second against her, let alone protect you. Not when he is only on bunny diet. It's impossible." I crossed my arms again and shrugged my shoulders at her.

"So my dear sister, it seems to me that you are the one playing with fire here, not me. You think being around Mason is dangerous, you should consider your situation about being around Stefan. So if you have the free will to put yourself in danger then so have I." Elena opened her mouth to say something but then shut it again. Obviously she didn't find any word to say against what I just said because what I just said was true by every bit. Still I gave Elena a chance to say something and waited there for a while but no one spoke up. I looked at Caroline again.

"Let's go." Caroline nodded and followed me out of the boarding house. We got into her car.

"They were pretending the whole time?" Caroline asked not believing it as she started driving. I simply nodded to her as there was no point in hiding that this time.

"They knew you were reporting everything back to Katherine that's why they argued more in front of you. You have nothing to feel guilty about, betraying your best friend and all." I said and Caroline sighed out in relief right away.

"Is Mason really okay? Damon didn't hurt him, did he?" I asked with serious tone of voice this time. Caroline shook her head in a positive way.

"He is okay. They were about to attack him in the woods but I went there in time and took off with Mason and got him in the middle of the crowd. He looked grateful for that. Guess he realized it too that he didn't stand a chance against them both. He even apologized to mom for misleading her. I think he really is a nice guy after all" said Caroline and I nodded to that, agreeing with her. On the other hand, I hoped Stefan would start feeding human blood after what I said to him. My sole purpose of telling all those things was to knock some sense into him and Elena.

"What is the job we are going to do?" Caroline asked with curiosity.

"We have to find Tony Kenton. The one you loath so much." I said and Caroline looked shockingly at me, just like I expected.

As Caroline kept driving I explained to her everything. At first she didn't agree but then she gave in eventually. However it did take me a lot of explaining and convincing to do to get her to agree on this. It took both of us five hours to find that Tony guy. He was residing in a cheap motel room outside of Mystic Falls but not so far away. He was well for lack of better words, banging a girl against the wall when Caroline and I walked into the room. The red headed girl looked high on drugs that moment. She mustn't have any idea what was she doing or where she was. Her hands were tied behind her back and she was blindfolded as well. The Tony guy seemed really kinky when it comes to sex. He himself was only half naked but the girl was in complete nude state. And moreover that bastard was videoing all this. Then I realized that the girl wasn't a day older than thirteen and seemed like a school girl as her school bag was lying on the floor. She must have bunked her classes to come here and got stuck with drugs. I shook my head to myself. Caroline noticed everything too and growled out loudly. I wouldn't blame her if she kills him right now but Tyler has to do it. I called Tyler right away and asked him to come over to the place and gave him the address. Caroline compelled the girl to leave and compelled Tony to sit down on a chair and not move unless said otherwise. She also compelled him not to make a single noise.

"What fucking hell? Who the fuck are you sluts?" yelled Tony with low tone of voice. Caroline slapped him right across his face but without using vampire strength of course. However it didn't stop Tony from swearing more.

"You fucking bitch!" He tried to get up but he couldn't obviously because of the compulsion. Caroline snarled at him angrily and brought out her vampire face at him. It scared the shit out of Tony.

"What the fuck are you bitches?" yelled Tony again this time with frightened tone of voice. As Caroline and Tony kept going, I took time to look around the room more properly. The room was full of all grades of heroin, cocaine and marijuana. And many other kind of drugs. He got a few guns as well, illegal of course. Then bags full of blue film tapes and nude photos of girls. Caroline didn't lie when she said this guy should be shot dead. Not long after I finished looking around the room, Tyler came in and was surprised to see Caroline there.

"Don't worry, you can trust her." I said and Tyler nodded his head and glanced at Tony before looking back at me.

"I gave Mason the moonstone." He informed me right away and I nodded to that.

"Good."

"Is this the guy worth killing?" Tyler asked and I motioned for him to walk with me.

"Come here and have a look at these things, you will get your answer." I said. While Tyler looked at Tony's belongings I walked up to the guy again. I breathed out a sigh before I started talking to him. I should give him one last chance.

"Tony, right? Look, we are here to kill you. You obviously figured that out already. But I want to give you another chance at life. But for that you have to promise me that you will leave everything bad and be a nice human being from this very moment and give yourself up to the cops and confess all your crimes to them." I said to him with slow and calm tone of voice. I waited for him to speak up and he did.

"Go to hell you bitch." Tony spat at me and also spat at his last chance at life.

"I am trying not to but you certainly will." I said to him coldly then looked back at Tyler who was now looking at me too. "He is all yours."

Saying that to Tyler both Caroline and I walked out of the room. Tyler had shot him in the head with his own gun. Short painless death. It triggered the curse in Tyler immediately and his eyes turned yellow like a wolf. After Tyler calmed down enough he and Caroline buried the body in the woods and burned all his belongings as well. Caroline compelled the motel manager to erase Tony's entry and make him forget that he ever came to stay here. The three of us drove back to Mystic falls in two cars. I made Caroline sit with Tyler and drover her car myself even though I didn't have a license yet. Before we knew it, we were at the Grill together, the three of us.

"I need a drink, a strong drink." I said out loud.

"Me too" said Tyler.

"Me three" said Caroline and she got up and went to the bar with confident steps. She compelled the bartender to give her three drinks for each one of us. I finished mine but it didn't get me drunk at all, maybe only a slight but that was not enough for me. I asked Caroline to get me one more shot but she refused to this time. Angrily, I got up from there, avoiding her calls and Tyler's as well.

"She is really drunk." I heard Caroline telling that to Tyler. But thankfully none of them followed me out but I wondered why? I got out of the Grill alone. I started to walk down the side walk slowly. I didn't know how far I walked or where I went to but I came across a bunch of druggies accidentally. Some of them were very wasted but some of them were still good however they were smoking pots. Their eyes fell on me immediately as I came across them. Ignoring their stares at me I kept walking away from them and at a fast pace. But they decided to come at me and soon I found my way blocked by them. For starter they smelled disgusting and their faces were horrible looking too. It was certain that they were all addicted. I winkled my nose at their sight and tried to get away from them right away. But they didn't let me.

"Hey sexy baby doll, what's you name?" asked one of them. I scowled at the guy angrily.

"Fuck off!" I snapped at him but it only made him grin broadly at me and nastily as well. Not to mention all his teeth were rotten.

"Is that your name? Doesn't suit you though. It should be fuck me" said the stranger guy again and the others standing with him laughed out loudly. He leaned in closer to me and whispered lowly which made me cringe with disgust.

"How about I help you with your name? You seem like a very fresh meat. It always tastes good." He dared to put his hand on my waist and squeezed his fist painfully. I jerked his hand away from my body and hit him hard across his face with all the strength I had in me. The slap made him trip over his own feet and he fell on the ground immediately as he was already very drunk. The others burst out laughing at that.

"You have got yourself a feisty one, man." Another guy said from the crowd. The fallen guy stood up quickly and glared at others then looked back at me. He snarled at me angrily and raised his hand to hit me. But before his hand could collide with my face or come anywhere near me, someone grabbed it and yanked it away from me and sent the man flying across the place. I looked up to see the person and found Damon standing by me. I flashed him a smile though he didn't return me that. The others backed away from us immediately. Damon grabbed my hand and started walking away from there and no one dared to stop us. He dragged me to his car and made me get inside. Then Damon got in himself and started driving to god knows where, with an angry frown plastered on his face. It was silent for a moment in the car and I didn't like it a bit.

"Where are we going?" I asked making myself comfortable in the seat and facing him completely. I spoke as if nothing has happened just a while ago.

"Home!" Damon replied in one word after a while. I cocked my head at him with a frown on my face.

"Yours or mine?" I asked wondering about it.

"Mine, Jenna wouldn't be too happy to see you like this now, would she?" said Damon. Well at least he is talking now, even though rudely.

"Good point." I said but then something got into me and I yelled loudly. "But I don't want to go home." Damon sighed out at that.

"Jacq, you are drunk right now and we are going to the boarding house." He stated firmly and I huffed angrily at that.

"But I want to stay out whole night." I demanded like a spoiled child. Damon didn't response to that. I sighed out heavily realizing that anger wouldn't get me anything in this situation. Wow even when I am drunk I can plot and plan. What a talented person I am! I thought to myself.

"Daaamonnn Pleaseeee!" I put up my best cute smile ever and looked at him with such hopeful eyes that no one could resist for sure. Damon glanced at me but ignored the look at first but I kept staring at him with puppy dog looks. "Please take me somewhere else, just you and me. Away from everyone. We will talk whole night." I said with pleading tone of voice. When Damon looked at me this time I knew he was considering the request. I just needed to push him a little bit more.

"Come on pleaseee!" I said again and he finally sighed out while surrendering to me.

"Fine, where do you want to go?" asked Damon and I flashed him a thousand volt smile.

"Awwww thank you. You are so sweet." I wrapped my arms around his torso from my seat making him loose control of the steering wheel for a while. Damon rolled his eyes to himself at that.

"Yes, now go back to your seat." He untangled me from him and sent me back to my seat. I pouted at him for doing that and Damon rolled his eyes again.

"You can drop the cute act now" suggested Damon however I shook my head at him.

"It's not an act. I am genuinely cute." I said proudly and Damon sucked in a deep breath.

"Where to princess?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders at him.

"I don't know. As long as it's open, quiet and peaceful I don't care where you are taking me." I said to Damon and he shook his head and drove us to somewhere I have never been before. And I didn't care about it either. Soon the car stopped and I looked outside the window. It looked like a cliff, a high cliff top and not a single soul was around the place. The moon was shining brightly, giving the place enough light to make out the shape of the surroundings. I got out of the car and looked around properly. I have never been here before. The place was perfect. Just like I wanted. Damon got out too. I smiled at him when he came beside me.

"How did you find out about this place?" I asked him, being seriously curious about it. Damon took a moment to answer that question. It must be something sensitive. He held my hand and walked me further near the edge of the cliff.

"I used to come here when I was a human. I used to sit here for hours and write my journal" said Damon and then he pointed at a huge rock near the very edge of the cliff. We walked near the rock and he help me sit on it. My face was leveled slightly higher than his face as I sat up on it, Damon had to look up to meet my eyes so I was practically hovering over him.

"So, you never came here after you turned?" I asked Damon and he shook his head. I frowned at him with confusion.

"Why?" I asked with wonderment. Damon just shrugged his shoulders at me. I let it go but asked another question.

"Tell me more about your past." But Damon didn't answer me that question instead he crossed his arms over his chest and looked at me in a scolding manner.

"First you tell me, why you are drunk?" asked Damon with protective tone of voice. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't ruin the moment Damon?" I complained instead of answering his question straight away. Damon narrowed his eyes at me. Realizing I was intentionally avoiding answering the question.

"I think I will." He said firmly and I pouted at him immediately.

"Are you seriously gonna yell at me now?" I asked with a sad face that made him roll his eyes at me.

"It's tempting, what the hell were you thinking, getting drunk, then picking up a fight with molesters? You have any idea what could have happened to you if I hadn't found you in time" said Damon and I just smiled at him as he kept scolding me. It showed how much he cared about me and I loved it.

"You look cute when you are throwing an anger tantrum, you know." I flirted with Damon and he glared at me instantly.

"I don't look cute." Damon stated strongly and it seemed that he was offended by that compliment however I ignored that.

"Sure you do, you look cute when you are angry." I said more firmly and Damon narrowed his eyes at me as I giggled at his face.

"I look dangerous when I am angry." Damon tried to sound scary but it only made me giggle more.

"That's not true. You look sexy, when you are really dangerous." I said not feeling ashamed at all. Damon irked an eye brow at me. If I weren't drunk I would have never said that to bluntly. And I didn't stop there as well.

"Why are so...smoking...- hot? and good looking? It's illegal." I complained and he just smirked at that.

"Mhhmm!" Damon said feeling flattered obviously and that got me more irritated.

"And you have any idea how hard it is to resist your... charms... and your...dangerous seductive ways... they always leave me breathless." I kept saying-

"I know." Damon said cockily. I growled out loud angrily and wildly grabbed fistful of his dark silky hair and pulled his face closer to mine while boring my eyes into his Sapphire gorgeous blue ones. My wildness didn't startle Damon but pleased him in a way. I narrowed my eyes at him dangerously.

"I hate you, you heard me. I hate you." I said in a low yet firm tone of voice but it didn't falter his arrogant smile. I continued talking. "I hate you for being so arrogant, and cocky, and stubborn, and difficult all the time." I gulped down my lust before saying more. "I hate you for never listening to me. I hate you more for trying to seduce me all the time. And I hate you for making me fall in love with you." My lips were dangerously close to his that moment.

"I hate it how I can never stop loving you no matter how hard I try." I said and closed my eyes slowly and my hand untangled from his hair and held his face instead.

"God, why do I love you so much?" I brushed my lips against his soft ones.

"Kiss me Damon" saying that I crushed my lips onto his but Damon pulled away quickly instead of kissing me back. I frowned at him with confusion and got a bit pissed off too.

"What's wrong?" I asked him with strong tone of voice. Damon looked breathless and he was panting as well. He inhaled a deep breath to calm down first then he cupped my face with his hands.

"You are drunk right now. You won't remember anything in the morning." Damon said and I frowned at him more, not getting his point a bit.

"Does it matter?" I asked shrugging my shoulders at him, damn him for ruining the perfect moment.

"Yes, it does" said Damon. "I wouldn't want you to forget our first kiss. Besides, if I kiss you now, it will be taking advantage of you and I am a gentleman" said Damon and I rolled my eyes at him. I can't believe this is really happening.

"Come on, you were trying to kiss me for days now. This is your golden chance Damon. You can't go all moral now." I said leaning closer to his face once again but Damon gently pushed me back from him.

"You can kiss me all you want when you are sober" said Damon and I inhaled a deep breath, giving up on it already.

"You are definitely from the eighties." I said to myself while shaking my head at him. Damon only chuckled at that.

"That I am my princess" said Damon and I glared at him as he said that.

"Don't call me that. And I am not yours." I said and looked away from him as I huffed angrily. I also crossed my arms over my chest.

"Now you look cute when you are angry" said Damon and I glared at him again heatedly for saying that.

"I am wild when I am angry." I said but Damon shook his head.

"No, you are wild when you are drunk and horny. And I am glad that I got to see this side of yours tonight" said Damon happily and I glared at him more before rolling my eyes to myself. His eyes fell on my dress and he checked me out again.

"Do you know that blue is my favorite color?" asked Damon all on a sudden.

"Yes, I do, so what?" I asked with annoyed tone of voice. He raised his eye brows at me.

"Does this by any chance, mean you wore this dress today for me?" asked Damon and I widened my eyes at him and shook my head vehemently.

"Absolutely not. It's just a silly co-incident." I said with assured tone of voice however Damon didn't believe that and smirked at me widely.

"I don't think so" said Damon with confident tone of voice. I rolled my eyes at him angrily.

"Think whatever you want to think Damon. I don't care."

And we kept talking and fighting like that until I fell asleep in his embrace. I didn't know if I wanted to or not remember everything that happened tonight. Perhaps forgetting everything is good for me. God, how am I gonna face him in the morning, knowing how I tried to kiss him so boldly? It's definitely gonna be awkward facing him if I remember everything.

AN: So, I am on my being mean mode today. Next update at 250 reviews. LOL 'love you all'.
