AN: You know I am very happy to get so many reviews, I really am I swear but the thing is I couldn't help but get a little bit disappointed when I see other awesome stories that get this number of reviews with only a few chapters. I wish I could write amazing stories like those :'( I hope someday I will be able to write one as well *sigh*. Anyways enough blabbering from me, this is another chapter for you guys.

Chapter 43: Klaus Is In Mystic Falls
"Know Thy Enemy' seventeenth episode of vampire diaries season two. Isobel is suppose to arrive in Mystic Falls in this episode and create a lot of chaos in town. This time however things would be different but interesting and exciting nonetheless. I am really looking forward to watch the drama unfold with Isobel this time. Thankfully I got dressed up before Stefan barged in the room to inform Damon that Isobel has arrived in town again and Jenna is creating hell of a situation in the Gilbert house. I had rolled my eyes in my mind hearing that. Jenna already knows everything about Isobel so obviously she is still acting. I followed Damon and Stefan downstairs and found Katherine pacing restlessly. She asked the Salvatore brothers not to inform Isobel about her. But of course neither Damon nor Stefan bothered about what she said.
I quickly sent Katherine a text telling her to drink vervain because it's almost time for Klaus to show up in Mystic Falls. And I didn't want her compelled like she was in the show. If Katherine is not on vervain this time, she would tell Klaus everything about me when he would ask her about everyone in Mystic Falls. Like he did in the show. Which is the last thing I want to happen. Also I asked Katherine to go and meet Isobel because this time it doesn't seem like Katherine wants to strike a deal with her and betray me in the process.
On the other hand Damon, Stefan and I headed towards my home. Damon already informed Alaric about the tragic news. When we entered the house Jenna had her eyes flooded with tears and she was packing to leave. Elena was crying too and Alaric, well let's not describe his face. Damon and Stefan stood silently, not knowing what to do at the moment to make the situation better. Stefan was feeling horrible seeing Elena sobbing like that. And everyone had their face darkened even Damon which surprised me a little. But I rolled my eyes to myself seeing all the drama. Jenna is taking it too far this time. I decided that she had enough fun already and it's time to drop the curtain. Jenna needs to stop but she isn't going to do it on her own, clearly. And honestly I was feeling pity for Alaric. I didn't want him to go through hell anymore. He had enough. I finally stood in front of Jenna with crossed arms over my chest.
"Now please tell me you didn't use glycerine in your eyes for this water work Jenna." I inquired and realizing that she actually did use glycerine, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at her. What is she five years old? I wondered to myself. Shaking my head I made my way towards the kitchen to get myself something to drink as I was feeling quite thirsty. I didn't need to look at anyone to know that everyone was looking shocked in the room.
"What?" I heard Elena asking. Obviously she couldn't believe her own ears.
"That's not fair Jacq." Yelling Jenna stomped her foot and threw her jacket at me that she was holding in her hand. I dodged that easily and it dropped on the floor without making a single sound.
"What the hell is going on?" asked Alaric looking like a clueless miserable puppy. No one answered his question. Jenna followed me in the kitchen with a pissed off look gracing her face. She also crossed her arms over her chest. Everyone else followed her with shocked, clueless and scowling faces.
"Jacq, why did you have to ruin my perfect plan when it was getting to the best part of it?" complained Jenna. I gulped down some juice before answering her question.
"Because I am feeling pity for Ric now. Besides, you had your fun already. It is high time for you to drop the act Jenna." I stated my true answer bluntly.
"By the way you should try for Hollywood. You are such an awesome actress." Jenna scoffed at that and rolled her eyes at me.
"Don't try to flatter me Jacq. You know I am not happy with you right now." Jenna said pouting. I shrugged my shoulders at her nonchalantly and with a smirk on my lips.
"I am not flattering you Jenna, just stating the truth." I said truthfully. Elena interrupted us rudely at that time.
"Can anyone please tell me what the hell are you two talking about?" Elena practically yelled at us and seeing others faces they all had the same question in their minds. I sighed out heavily and answered the question.
"I told Jenna everything a long time ago about vampires, werewolves, witches, originals and Isobel as well. I couldn't let her be in the dark. It wasn't a right thing to do to her. So, she already knows everything, and knew all these since Uncle John had dropped the bomb on her about him being Elena's biological father." I said that with nonchalant tone of voice. Jenna shook her head at me, still disappointed that she couldn't put everyone through hell for longer. And others well, they were gaping at us with mouths wide open.
"You were acting this whole time." Alaric finally spoke up in an accusing tone of voice to Jenna. Obviously he was mad at Jenna after knowing she was purposely putting him through hell for days now.
"It's only fair Ric. You were lying to me since the first day we met" said Jenna in a matter of fact tone of voice. Elena accusingly looked at me.
"And you knew too that she was acting this entire time." She stated the obvious disbelievingly and in an accusing tone of course. I smirked at Elena and waggled my eye brows at her making my dear sister glare at me more heatedly.
"I get along with Katherine for a reason you know, we both are bitches." I said that kind of proudly. Damon and Stefan were still kind of gaping at me.
"I can't believe you two." Breathed out Alaric while shaking his head at us.
"Come on Ric, you lied to her and she put you through hell. You guys are even now. Let's just start over you two." I said and Jenna sighed out giving in the proposal already and looked at Alaric with love this time.
"I am sorry Ric and Elena for putting you through hell. I was just mad that you were hiding so many things from me." Jenna spoke her heart. Elena walked up to her and gave her a hug.
"I am sorry too Jenna. I just wanted to keep you safe from all of this. I promise you no more secrets." Elena meant what she said. Jenna nodded her head and hugged her back. Then Jenna walked over to Alaric.
"No more secrets." She said and Alaric nodded to her and pulled Jenna into his arms. Awww they looked so cute together. I noticed Alaric is not wearing his resurrecting ring anymore. He must have gave it to John by now. Speak of the devil, John entered the room with a pissed off look on his face. Obviously he heard everything what just happened in the house.
"What the hell is going on?" John asked. He wasn't pleased a bit because the bitterness he wanted to spread in Alaric and Jenna's relation is gone now. Moreover in a blink of an eye. Jenna glared at John as usual but Alaric approached him dangerously.
"Don't ever dare to come in between me and Jenna" said Alaric. He obviously realized that if Jenna already didn't know the truth then the situation would be much more worse. John nodded his head sternly and walked out of the house. But not without throwing a glare at Ric's way.
"You should have punched him" said Jenna out loud disappointed that Alaric didn't do it.
"Believe me I wanted to" replied Alaric truthfully and then pulled Jenna back into his arms again. Well happily ever after in the end. At least for them. I liked this moment but unfortunately I didn't have any time to enjoy the moment because I got to take Bonnie to the dead witches' house and help her with the ritual to connect with the witches.
"Okay everyone, I have to leave now. See you later" saying that I started to walk towards the door. I already grabbed all the things I needed.
"Where are you going?" asked Damon frowning in confusion at me.
"To the witches' house to help Bonnie." I didn't bother not saying the truth this time in reply and thankfully no one asked me how I knew about the witches' house.
"I am coming with you" said Damon and I just nodded. We were at the door when Alaric called my name.
"Jacq!" I looked back at him wondering what he has to say.
"Thanks for this." He said pointing at Jenna wrapped around in his arms. I smiled at him feeling genuinely happy for them.
"Any time Ric, just keep Jenna happy from now on." I said and he nodded.
"Of course."
I got the Gilmore from Jonas a few days ago the one that Bonnie will be needing to perform her spells. All we have to do now is pick up Bonnie and go to the witches' house. I however had one more task to do. Which is stop Isobel from burning herself into ashes. No matter how much cruel and evil she appears to be but there is still good in her underneath and she loves Elena very much. There is a mother in her who feels love and concern. Isobel deserves to live in my eyes just like anyone else that I am trying to keep safe. I have already asked Pearl and Anna to do the job for me. I was just hoping that everything will go just fine and things will work out for good. Once I got inside the car with Damon, we both went silent and no one was talking for god knows what reason. But it was a comfortable silence though. Damon broke the silence by speaking up after a while.
"You know you are nothing like Katherine. She would have never done what you did for Ric and Jenna today" said Damon and he really believed that. I sighed out heavily at that.
"You are right Damon. I am nothing like Katherine. I am worse than her. You just don't know it yet." I said that more to myself than to Damon, knowing that soon I will do something to him that even Katherine wouldn't have done to him. But Damon thought I was just kidding so he smirked at me.
"I don't think so. I would have never loved you if you were anything like her" said Damon and I looked at him with confusion in my eyes.
"But you loved her once, didn't you? And as far as I know she didn't compel you to love her." I said and Damon went silent for a moment but spoke up again.
"She was playing me Jacq, she pretended to love me. She made me fall for her, forced me to. But this time I fell for you on my own and your love for me is real. Just as much real as you and me are right now. I know it is" said Damon confidently. I leaned into him and rested my head on his shoulder. Damon wrapped one arm around me and kissed my hair as he kept driving. I couldn't help but ask him though.
"Tell me something, who would you have loved if I never existed in this world." I asked even though knowing very well that he would be head over heals for Elena by now but still I wanted to hear from him. Damon inhaled a deep breath.
"No one." He stated at once with strong tone of voice.
"I would be waiting for you to exist in my life. But I don't need to worry about it now, do I? Because you do exist and I have you in my life. And that's all that matters." We went silent after that and I didn't even realize when tears came out of my eyes and rolled down my cheeks as I still kept my head on his shoulder. I suddenly felt so overwhelmed with emotions that I couldn't control it and tears leaked out of my eyes before I could stop it. Damon had stopped the car already and made me look at him, cupping my face.
"Hey what's wrong?" Damon asked as he looked worriedly at me because I hardly cry. He had hardly seen tears in my eyes. I shook my head and inhaled a deep breath through my mouth.
"Nothing Damon, it's just that I never thought I would be loved so much. You have no idea what this means to me, to be loved like this." I said truthfully and couldn't stop myself from leaning in and kiss Damon on his sweet lips. Damon was amazed at how emotional I got so suddenly. I pulled away to look into his eyes. I could always get lost in them. They were like open ocean and I wouldn't complain if I drowned in them and die. Damon pulled my face closer to him again and I willingly, desperately met his lips again. Our lips molded against each other slowly, there was no rush in it and it was full of love and only love. Our eyes were closed as we kept feeling our love for each other with our lips. But the moment was destroyed when my cell phone went off. Damon growled in annoyance and I could only giggle at his face. It was Bonnie who was calling.
"Bonnie I am on my way." I said right away after picking up the call.
"Hurry up!" I heard Bonnie saying before I hung up. I laughed at Damon's scowling face and shook my head to myself.
"Let's go, shall we?" I said and Damon started the car again and started to drive towards Bonnie's house.
"I was really hoping for a round during a long drive" said Damon hopefully and I rolled my eyes at him.
"In your dreams Salvatore." I said and Damon smirked at that.
"I have a feeling my dream will soon come true Miss. Gilbert."
Very soon, we picked up Bonnie and reached the dead witches house. Damon couldn't get inside as the witches didn't let him or liked him for that matter.
"Damon, why don't you go and stay with Elena and Stefan while we are at it. Elena needs all the protection she can get." I suggested but Damon being Damon shook his head right away.
"No, I will wait here until you are finished with your work with witchy" said Damon stubbornly. I sighed out and didn't try to convince Damon, knowing that there is no point in arguing with him. I walked inside the house where Bonnie was already setting up. I handed her the Gilmore, pulling it out of my bag which surprised her a lot.
"How did you get this?" Bonnie asked very shocked and curious.
"Jonas gave me this. He wants Klaus dead too you know." I said and Bonnie looked shockingly at me but didn't say anything else. Meanwhile Bonnie set things up, I decided to check up the white oak stakes and see if they are still where I've put them. Because if they are not, then we are in big trouble. But I knew those white oak stakes are safe.
"Bonnie, why don't you set things up. I want to look around a bit. See if everything is okay." Bonnie nodded without thinking much and I went straight to the dungeon where I kept the white oak stakes. Thankfully the stakes were still here. Meaning no one knows. I was coming back upstairs when I suddenly got a call from Katherine.
"What's the news Katherine?" I asked right away knowing she got one.
"I just met Isobel. She said she made a deal with Klaus to spare my life in exchange of the moonstone and the doppelganger." I heard Katherine say. I already knew Isobel's game here but I didn't know what Katherine was thinking this time.
"So, what do you think?" I asked Katherine straight away. She remained silent for a moment and I thought for a second that maybe, she is going to say 'sorry Jacq but I am on her side now' but Katherine said something entirely different.
"I know she was lying. Isobel would never hurt Elena, let alone exchange her life for mine" said Katherine and I actually felt relieved from inside. Only if Katherine understood this in the show. But it doesn't matter, show or reality Katherine is a survivor. And she'll live.
"So you do realize that it's other way around. It's you she is going to exchange for Elena's safety." I said not keeping it a secret from her.
"I already figured that out. What do you want me to do?" Katherine asked because she really didn't know what to do. She could run but Katherine wasn't willing to run away this time.
"I think you should let her do what she came here to do and do as she asked you to do. Right now it's only you who could get close to Klaus as he wants to see you right away. You are on vervain, right? Then Klaus won't be able to compel you and you can keep us updated about his doings. We need to know what he is up to all the time Katherine." I said and she went silent for a moment again. Did I ask her to do too much?
"What if he kills me right away?" asked Katherine which is a clear sign of fear and hesitation.
"And show you kindness, I don't think so Katherine." I stated straight away and truthfully.
"Fine, I will do it. But I don't know where the moonstone is. Isobel wants the stone too." I heard from Katherine. I knew where Damon kept the moonstone when he got it from Elijah after Alaric killed him.
"It's in a soap case Katherine, at the boarding house." I said and heard Katherine sighing out heavily. She must be rolling her eyes as well.
"Okay, I am on it." Saying that Katherine was about to hung up but before she could end the call, I spoke up again.
"Did you tell Isobel anything about Bonnie?" I asked wondering about it. I didn't want Bonnie in danger so soon.
"No, I didn't" said Katherine and I felt relieved hearing that.
"Good and Klaus shouldn't know about her as well." I warned Katherine very seriously.
"Okay, I will take care of it" came from Katherine with confidence.
"Bye Katherine" saying that I hung up. I came back upstairs to Bonnie and saw that she was all set up and ready. I sat beside Bonnie and she started to chant spells and mantras. Suddenly all sorts of witchy things started to happen. Voices started to speak, wind started to blow even though the whole place was locked down, not to mention, the witches closed the door for Damon. Speaking of Damon, he must be getting worried sick outside. Suddenly Bonnie started to scream in pain like she did in the show. I found myself unable to move a muscle. Her screams were horrible and I got scared actually. Then all of it stopped all on a sudden. I could move again. I rushed to Bonnie and engulfed her in a tight hug.
"Bonnie, Are you okay?" I asked worriedly and Bonnie nodded her head.
"I did it, I can channel their powers now, I did it" said Bonnie with satisfaction and happiness. I cupped her face and smiled at her happily.
"Yes, you did it." Bonnie hugged me back again and we stayed like that for a while but I had to pull away because I had very serious matters to talk to about with Bonnie.
"Bonnie, there is something I need to tell you and you have got to listen to me very carefully and trust me on this." I said with serious tone of voice. Bonnie frowned in confusion at me.
"What is it Jacq?" Bonnie asked worriedly. She realized how serious I was and it was freaking her out already. Before I could start speaking though, I got a call from Damon.
"Hold on a minute." I said to Bonnie and she nodded. I received the call and said-
"Damon, we are fine in here." I heard Damon sigh in relief.
"The witches just locked the doors, are you really okay?" asked Damon strongly. As he couldn't see me, he didn't want to believe that I am really fine. I shook my head with a smile, feeling his love.
"Yes Damon, we are fine here. Don't worry. But it will take us a while longer to finish up. Bonnie still hasn't succeeded yet." I said and got a confusing look from Bonnie.
"Fine, I am waiting outside for you." I heard Damon saying and couldn't help but roll my eyes to myself.
"Damon, can you please go and check up on Elena and Stefan? I am really worried about them, please." I pleaded with Damon. If he is not there then who is gonna take care of the problems that must be going on there.
"Fine, but you will call me as soon as you are done. I will come to pick you up" said Damon and I sighed but agreed anyway.
"Okay, that would be great." I said and hung up the call. I looked back at Bonnie and she raised her eye brows at me with her arms crossed over her chest. I understood that look and sighed out heavily.
"What?" I asked trying to play dumb with Bonnie.
"So you and Damon, huh? I suspected right after all" said Bonnie while shaking her head to herself. I rolled my eyes at that.
"Yes Bon, me and Damon. Now please can we talk about something more important?" I said and Bonnie shook her head again but urged me to speak thankfully.
"You must be wondering why I lied to Damon." I didn't wait for a response from Bonnie and kept talking. "I know everyone is thinking that all this is to kill Klaus. That's what their plan is. You will channel enough powers from hundred dead witches and take down Klaus when he arrives in Mystic Falls. But I happen to know something else that no one else does. I know that you will die Bonnie, if you attempt to kill Klaus." I said and Bonnie gasped in shock and gaped at me openly.
"How do you know that?" Bonnie asked not believing her own ears.
"I know about a lot of things Bonnie and it's time I tell you about them." I said and Bonnie urged me to speak desperately. She was being very curious. I took in a deep breath and started speaking. I told her the same things I told Elijah, that I met Esther after I died and learned many things from her. Bonnie believed every word that I said. However, I didn't tell her about my deal with Elijah or what I have planned to do really. After hearing out everything Bonnie said-
"So, we can't really kill Klaus." Bonnie figured the bottom line rather quickly. I shook my head to confirm that.
"Killing Klaus will be killing everyone else. Rose, Katherine, Damon, Stefan, Caroline and everyone else he ever turned or sired directly or indirectly. They are of the same blood line." I said and Bonnie started pacing restlessly in the room by then. She was obviously tensed and worried. Now not only me but Elijah and Bonnie knew about the blood line complication. I haven't even told Katherine about this because then she would have never agreed to help me kill Klaus then. Even though we are not really gonna kill Klaus but I needed Katherine and everyone else to think that we are attempting a murder here.
"But we have to do something. Otherwise Klaus will kill everyone" said Bonnie and I nodded to her.
"I know Bonnie, I know. And there is something that we can do to put him down without killing him off. But for that we have to meet your mom, Abby Bennett." I said and Bonnie's eyes went wide hearing her mom's name. It took her some time to be able to speak up again.
"How can she help us?" Bonnie asked feeling confused and clueless and shocked as well.
"Fifteen years ago, your mom performed a spell on Mikael. He is Klaus's father who came to Mystic Falls in search of the new doppelganger. Your mom stopped his heart, then chained him up and buried him in a graveyard. Mikael is locked up there forever and he is never getting out. He is going to sleep for eternity unless someone wakes him up. And hopefully no one would do that. We have to do the same thing to Klaus. Stop his heart and put him to sleep. That way no would die and Klaus would be out of the picture too for good. But I must mind you that, the spell with take away all your powers. Your mom lost her powers after defeating Mikael. So, are you willing to do this for Elena and everyone else." I asked and Bonnie nodded her head without a second thought.
"I will do it" said Bonnie with determination in her voice.
"Well then, be ready to meet your mom again. You will stay with your mom and won't come back until I say so. During your stay, you must learn about the spell she cast on Mikael. And practice your magic regularly. If anyone asks you, say that you didn't succeed and you are feeling disappointed for that and wants to get away from everything for a while." I warned Bonnie about all the things important. She nodded obediently to everything. I sighed out heavily after the end of the explanation and planning. Bonnie took things very well. Better than I expected. Right then I got a call from Pearl. I picked it up and asked-
"How is everything going?" I asked worriedly. "Is she with you right now?"
"Yes, Isobel is now locked up in my house dungeon. Vervained and chained up. She won't be getting out anytime soon" said Pearl and I sighed out heavily in relief. I had told Pearl that Isobel would try to burn herself into ashes near her grave and asked the older vampire to stop Isobel from doing that. Apparently Pearl along with Anna succeeded in doing that.
"Thank you Pearl. I owe you for this." I said really meaning it from my heart.
"No, you don't. You are welcome Jacqueline." Came from Pearl before she hung up. I looked back at Bonnie and she was looking at me with confused and curious looks.
"What was that?" She asked me with serious interest.
"I had asked Pearl to do something for me and she did it." I said shrugging my shoulders nonchalantly and dropping the topic immediately. Bonnie still looked suspiciously at me but nodded anyway. Thankfully she didn't further interrogate me.
"We have to leave before Damon comes back here." I said to Bonnie wanting to hurry up.
"You know where Abby lives?" asked Bonnie shocked once again.
"Of course I do." I said. I didn't really remember the address from the show but I found it out in this world.
"Let's go." I said and with that we got out of the witches house.
Third Person's POV
The Boarding House
Elena, Stefan and Damon were at the boarding house. So many things happened in such short time. Katherine disappeared with the moonstone. Isobel killed John in front of the whole council. But since he was wearing the magical resurrecting ring that he forcefully retrieved from Alaric, John is going to come back to life after a couple of hours. Then Isobel had kidnapped Elena and suddenly Pearl came out of nowhere and vervained Isobel. She said to Elena that a friend of hers wants Isobel and she is taking her there. Everyone assumed that if Pearl hadn't saved Elena, she would be dead by now or worse handed her over to Klaus. After all that happened the trio is now at the boarding house, worried and tensed up for different reasons though.
Damon was worried because when he went back to the witches house after he brought John's dead body in the boarding house, he didn't find anyone there. He called but neither Jacq nor Bonnie picked up his calls. Damon was worried as hell and pacing impatiently in the living room. What if something has happened to them? What if Jacq is in danger? Where the hell are they? Stefan and Elena were worried as well, not only about Jacqueline and Bonnie but Klaus as well. Stefan has already arranged the house papers. He is going to make Elena the owner of the boarding house, for her safe keeping. Elena just needs to sign the papers. Obviously Isobel gave him the idea. Damon however wasn't paying any attention to them or what they were doing. Stefan and Elena were worried about Jacqueline too but the truth is no where near how much Damon was worried.
As expected John came back to life in that situation. Stefan jumped on him right away. He gripped John's shirt collar and lifted him off the ground one feet high. John was scared this time. He just died. Surely he didn't want to die again.
"I swear I had no idea what Isobel was gonna do. I am sorry" pleaded John and Stefan glared at him angrily. He almost got Elena killed today. Well that's what everyone thought. Only if they knew that Elena is the most safest person in the world till the next full moon.
"I am so so sorry" repeated John and sounded truly apologetic.
"Stefan let him go. He and I need to talk" said Elena. Even though Stefan didn't want to but still he nodded and glaring at John, he let him go. Elena and John entered the studies room to have their talk while Stefan walked up to a very tensed up Damon.
"Jacq isn't picking up your calls yet?" Stefan asked and Damon shook his head in reply. Worry was written all over his face. Stefan sighed out heavily.
"She is up to something then" stated Stefan and Damon looked up at him with wondering eyes. He wanted to know why Stefan is thinking that.
"But she was fine just a while ago. What could she be up to so suddenly?" asked Damon with frustration. He didn't know what to think anymore.
"I don't know Damon, but it's Jacq we are talking about here. She is always up to something and we both know that very well. And clearly she doesn't want you or any of us to know about it" said Stefan and finding sense into it, Damon sighed out frustratingly once again.
"Even witchy isn't answering her phone. It only means one thing. They are both up to something together" stated Damon not knowing how should he feel anymore. Stefan thought about it for a while.
"You know what I am thinking, why would Pearl kidnap Isobel like that? Pearl isn't supposed to even know anything about Isobel unless-" Stefan stopped talking and both Damon and Stefan looked at each other then Damon spoke up-
"Unless Jacq told her about Isobel" concluded Damon.
"Of course, I mean think about it. Jacq is the only one Pearl is actually friendly with and would do something for if asked. Jacq asked Pearl to save Elena from Isobel." Stefan got more interested in solving the puzzle as he figured out one piece.
"But Pearl didn't kill Isobel, she just kidnapped her" said Damon trying to make sense to everything in his own way.
"Maybe Jacq and Bonnie are thinking that they could get information about Klaus from Isobel. That's why Pearl didn't kill her and I am sure she took her to Jacq and Bonnie. Wherever they are?" Stefan got more excited as he thought that he is finally solving the mystery of what is going on.
"But it doesn't make any sense Stefan. How would Jacq know what Isobel is up to when her douche bag of an Uncle didn't know?" wondered Damon. Stefan thought about it for a moment while pacing then suddenly it hit his mind.
"Katherine" said Stefan. "Jacq must have found out what Isobel is up to through Katherine." Damon rolled his eyes this time.
"Brother that bitch ran away with the moonstone, she betrayed us. Why in hell she would inform Jacq what Isobel is up to?" Damon questioned and Stefan simply shrugged his shoulders.
"They claimed to be friends, didn't they?" said Stefan nonchalantly and Damon growled angrily to himself.
"I hate this. I hate not knowing what Jacq is up to which is by the way all the time. How come Elena is such a calm and easy girl and has a sister so much of a troublemaker and so difficult" complained Damon nonstop. Stefan couldn't help but smile as his brother spoke so fondly about this difficult girl that he also loves but of course like a little sister, even though he was pissed off at the moment.
"If you don't remember Damon, Elena and Jacq they don't really share same biological parents and if I am not wrong you fell for Jacq for her trouble making habits and difficult nature" said Stefan confidently. Damon rolled his eyes at his brother for stating the truth so bluntly.
"That doesn't mean I don't hate her for being difficult all the time" said Damon angrily. Stefan shook his head to himself hearing that and shrugged his shoulders.
"Well that's how Jacq is" said Stefan. Before they could speak more, Caroline entered the house.
"Caroline, what are you doing here?" asked Stefan wondering about it.
"I have a message from Jacq" said Caroline. Both Stefan and Damon looked at her with seriousness immediately.
"Bonnie didn't succeed in connecting with the witches today. She and Jacq are out of town to find another way to kill Klaus before he arrives in Mystic Falls." Caroline delivered the message exactly as she was told.
"Why didn't she tell me so?" asked Damon highly irritated now. Caroline inhaled a deep breath before speaking up again.
"Jacq didn't want you to stop her from going with Bonnie." Hearing that Damon rolled his eyes. Obviously he would have stopped her from going anywhere alone. Damon doesn't like to have her out of his sight even for a minute.
"When they will be back?" asked Stefan worriedly because now they have nothing against Klaus as Bonnie has failed. Caroline shook her head in response.
"I have no idea Stefan." Hearing that Damon sighed out frustratingly and with anger. Again Jacqueline ran away from him. What he is gonna do with her? But Damon wasn't so angry this time because it was Bonnie she went with and not some werewolf guy. Elena came out of the studies room and was surprised to see Caroline there.
"What's going on?" She asked worriedly while looking at their faces and sensing the seriousness of the situation. John was right behind her.
"Bonnie couldn't succeed today. She and Jacq are out of town to find another way to kill Klaus." Stefan informed her. Elena gasped out loud hearing that.
"Then we have nothing against Klaus now. No way to kill him" spoke up Elena and Stefan nodded, already worried about that. The others were worried as well.
"We have to find another way" stated Stefan running a hand through his hair. Elena already knew what she would do. She will pull the dagger out of Elijah and bring him back to life. That's the only way to save everyone now. She just needs to gain his trust again. Maybe they can still have that deal. Elena just needs the right opportunity to do it. And that opportunity will come. She was sure of it.
Alaric's Apartment
In the same town not so far from the boarding house; in the history teacher's apartment, Katherine was lying on the ground. She slowly opened her eyes feeling heavy in the head. She looked around and found the warlock who kidnapped her. He was doing something witchy on Ric. What was he doing? Katherine sat up and checked her neck, her daylight necklace was gone. Thank god she was on vervain but she has to pretend that she is not. The warlock stepped away and bowed as Alaric stood up from the chair.
"Alaric!" Katherine whispered as she stood up as well. Alaric turned to face her with an evil smile. Katherine ran for the door but she was trapped. Some kind of spell was on the door. She couldn't get out. Katherine turned around to face Alaric again. She spoke his name but he only smirked evilly and said her name. Alaric cupped her cheeks as he walked closer to her.
"I have missed you" spoke Alaric in a strange accent. Was it Alaric? No!
"Klaus!" Katherine said out his name in horror. Klaus smiled at her evilly that sent shivers down her spine. Finally Klaus came, to destroy their lives.
