Kurt needed to run home first. There was just one little flaw. He couldn't get in his own house without his father letting him in. In other words... Kurt was going to get caught. Kurt spent some time pondering the thought, but after realizing that it was half seven, he grabbed the stuff everyone had given him, and ran. He was outside his house in no time. He bit his lip as he knocked on the door nervously. He was scared of what his father might say before he gets the chance to compulse him.

The door swung open to a worried looking Burt Hummel. Upon seeing Kurt, his expression went from relieved to angry.

"Where were you?" he asked sternly. "And why did you knock instead of walking in?" Kurt bit his lip. He didn't want to lie to his dad, but it was for the best. He caught his dad's eyes and spoke slowly.

"I was here the whole time. Now invite me in."

"Oh, how did I think you weren't? Come on in Kurt." Kurt felt the invisible barrier disappear and he walked in and went straight to the kitchen, where Carole was. Her eyes grew when she see him and went to say something in a stern voice, but Kurt got there first.

"I was here the whole time." her mouth formed a little 'O' and then she nodded. Then Kurt remembered something and took out a flask of Vervain.

"What's that, bud?" Kurt looked his dad in his eyes.

"Never mind what it is, you need to put a little bit of it in a drink every morning." Kurt then turned to Carole. "Same goes for you."

He then took out two necklaces which Elena had told him contained a little part Vervain in it and should stop him from being able compulse them. He handed the girlier one to Carole, careful not to touch the part that held the Vervain. He'd done that when Elena had first given it too him and it burnt like a bitch. "I want you to wear this and only take it of when you know it could get wet." Carole smiled and laced it around her neck. He then gave his dad the other.

"Wear it. Same rules as Carole." Burt grinned and did as Kurt asked. Finally Kurt felt like he could be a little normal with them.

"Well, I'm going to get ready for school. Where's Finn?"

"He went early for some reason." Carole replied. Kurt nodded and slowly made his way to his room.

He walked over to his full length mirror and finally took a look at himself. He was a mess! His hair was messy and clothes were ruffled. He looked at his jacket for the first time since he left his house. Anyone else would've assumed that it was part of the design to be red. But Kurt knew better, because yesterday it had been White. It was covered in blood. Santana's blood. He cringed and took it off, throwing it into the bin besides his desk.

He then went through his morning routine like nothing happened. Well... Sort of. He did everything he use to do (shower, daily moisturising routine, brush his teeth, get dressed and style his hair), just all in under ten minutes.

He then grabbed his school bag and the bag of supplies he was given. He put a few flasks of Vervain and carefully placed the jewellery in the bag too. He then grabbed three of the twenty blood bags he'd been supplied with and stuffed them in his bag unceremoniously and slung it over his shoulder.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. He was scared. No doubt that Finn had told people he hadn't come home last night, and then people would be worrying. Blaine would be worrying.

He sighed and walked downstairs, yelling a goodbye to his dad and Carole. He decided that instead of taking his navigator, it would be quicker to just run. And he was right. He got to school in less than half the time it took his to drive. He had glee in the morning today before homeroom, so he braced himself for an onslaught of questions as he appeared at the door. He then walked and as Finn came up to him telling, he wore a look that said; What the hell is going on?

"Where were you last night, Kurt? You're dad was worried sick an-"

"FINN! Shut up." Finn immediately quietened. This was easier than Kurt thought it was going to be. "I was in my room, you idiot."

"Oh yeah..." Finn looked a little dazed. That's when Kurt realized they were the only two in there. So Kurt started rummaging in his bag again.

"Finn, dad and Carole have a flask at home, in the mornings, put a bit of it into a drink and take it everyday." Kurt said while looking into his eyes. He then picked up a bracelet that he'd planned on giving to Finn. That was until until he accidentally touched the Vervain part. It burnt and he dropped it by reflex.

"OW SHIT!" he yelled.

"Kurt are you okay?" Finn asked as he picked up the bracelet. Kurt then realized he couldn't compulse him to wear it if he was holding it.

"Yeah. Just give it back a sec." Finn held it out and Kurt picked it up carefully before looking Finn straight in the eyes. "Finn, you need to wear this and never take it off, okay?" Finn nodded and Kurt handed it over and watched as he slipped it onto his wrist. That's when Blaine walked through the doors.

"Kurt!" he ran over and caught him in a hug. Kurt held his breath. Blaine's neck was millimetres away from his mouth. He could see the blood pumping through his jugular. Kurt felt his face changing and pulled away and looked down, hiding it. Trying to calm himself.

"Are you okay?" Blaine asked sincerely.

"Just peachy. Can we go talk in private? I need to tell you something." Kurt asked, still not looking up.

"Sure." he said and grabbed Kurt's hand, leading him from the room. "Are you sure you're okay, Kurt?" he asked as he led them into an empty classroom. Kurt nodded and sat on a desk. His face had gone back to normal so he looked back up to see Blaine's concerned look gazing back at him.

"I love you." Kurt blurted out. He'd been through so much and he just wanted know that Blaine was still there for him. Blaine smiled and chuckled slightly.

"I love you, too, Kurt. But... Finn told everyone you never went home yesterday, I didn't even know you left, Kurt. You had me worried." Kurt sighed, he really didn't want to lie to Blaine, but it was either that, or the truth. And that thought terrified Kurt.

"That was just Finn being overdramatic. I was in my room the whole time. There was no need to worry." Blaine nodded, smiling.

"Okay. What did you want to talk about, then?" He asked, still smiling at Kurt. Kurt reached into his bag and took out a flask of Vervain and a ring. The Vervain in was laced inside the metal, so Kurt could touch it without fear of being hurt. He'd chose to give this certain one to Blaine because the touched a lot. And Kurt didn't want to avoid such things because Blaine had Vervain on him.

"This is going to sound weird but I need you to put a bit of this in your morning drink every day." Blaine nodded, and took the flask. "Take a little bit in minute after this." He said, not wanting to risk the Vervain blocking his compulsion, no matter how much he hated doing this to his boyfriend. "Wear this ring all the time, okay? And don't take it off unless I say so." Blaine nodded and put the ring onto his finger.

"Do I drink a bit of this now?" Kurt nodded, and Blaine took off the lid and sipped at it. He made a face before putting the lip back on and placing the flask in his bag.

"How does it taste?" Kurt asked, curious.

"Odd, but it's not horrible." he smiled then leaned forwards and placed a chaste kiss on Kurt's lips. But there was obviously still remnants of Vervain left on his lips because it burnt like hell. Kurt pulled away and yelled in pain, covering his mouth.

"Kurt! Are you okay? What happened?" Kurt couldn't look at him right now.

"Nothing, Blaine. I'm fine." he was at a loss to cover up. He still burnt on his lips. "Just... Erm... Cramp. Go back to glee. I'll be there in a minute, okay? I just need a minute alone."

"Oh... Okay." He leaned over to Kurt and placed a kiss there too. Now Kurt's head burnt, but he refrained himself from reacting and waiting for Blaine to leave before running to the door and locking it, not risking anyone coming in. He then went to his bag and got out on his blood bags and ripped it open with his teeth before drinking it hungrily. He immediately started to feel better and the burn was gone. Hopefully Blaine had the sense to lick his lips before going kiss Kurt again.

Kurt was just drinking the bag dry when there was a voice behind him.

"You need to be more careful, Kurt." Kurt jumped and turned to see Matt leaning against a desk at the back of the room.

"How did you get here." Kurt asked, throwing the empty blood bag into his bag.

"You suck at locking doors." Kurt turned and the door was indeed unlocked. Kurt scowled and slung his bag back around his shoulder.

"Matt, don't you have somewhere to be?" Kurt asked, walking to the door at human speed.

"Yupp. I'm on my way to compulse Figgins. Just thought I'd drop by and see if you're okay."

"I'm fine, Matt. Now I need to go compulse my friends to wear stupid jewellery so I can't do stuff to them." Kurt then walked out the door and his way back to glee without another word to Matt.

"-I swear! I was at the beginning of the road one second, and then I was suddenly in the middle of it. Like, honest to god, it happened." Kurt bit his lip as he heard Santana. It was definitely coming from the choir room and it was clear as day in his ear even though he was still a hallway away with groups of talkative teens in his way.

"Maybe it was aliens." Brittany said.

"I think it's bullshit." Puck whispered. The others obviously didn't hear him, even though Kurt did. And then he walked through the choir room door only to met with a scream. From Santana. Kurt's eyes widened. His compulsion had worked on every one else, did it not affect her or something.

"Did you just scream at Kurt?" Blaine asked, eyeing her warily.

"Yeah... I don't know why but I feel really scared right now. Like I know something I can't remember but I can remember how i felt..."

"And you felt the need to scream at Kurt?" Blaine asked, confused.

"No, hobbit. I feel like he's done something and it scared the fucking shit out of me. It felt like this last night."

Kurt's mind worked at more than triple speed and he quickly figured out that even though he made her forget, he didn't get rid of how she felt.

"Santana I think you've finally gone crazy." Kurt said as he sat down. He quickly realised the while glee club was here and decided to break the news while he could. "And just so everyone knows, Matt's back." he said bluntly, earning himself confused looks from Rory, Sugar, Brittany, Blaine and Sam.

"Matt Rutherford?" Kurt nodded at Puck and then suddenly people were talking animatedly about it and a few explaining who Matt was. And then Mr. Schue walked in.

"Hey guys, what's all the fuss about?" Rachel piped up first.

"Matt's back!" she yelled excitedly. Mr. Schue frowned.

"I didn't hear anything about him coming back to McKinley... Who told you?" everyone looked at Kurt. He uncomfortable under their gaze. Any other day he would've killed for their undivided attention, but now he wanted to hide. He was ashamed at what he was, even if they didn't know.

"Kurt? How do you know this?" but then their was a voice he heard from the hall with sensitive ears.

"Countdown in 10, 9, 8..." Kurt laughed inwardly over his childishness.

"Because." and then he started counting down too, earning weird looks from the glee club. "5, 4, 3, 2..."

"ONE!" Matt yelled as he burst into then room. Their were squeals from a few a girls and cheers from the guys. And while every one was talking to him, Blaine turned to Kurt.

"How did you know?" he asked.

"I bumped into him on my way into school..." Blaine shook his head.

"Not that, the countdown. How did you know?" Kurt's eyes widened. SHIT.

"Urm... Lucky guess?" Blaine eyed him before nodding, bur Kurt still doubted he believed him.

"AW SHIT FINN!" Kurt glanced over at the group, swiftly noticing that Matt obviously touched Finn's bracelets and was holding his hand gingerly.

"Dude, sorry. What did I do?" he asked puzzled.

"Er, nothing. I just caught my hand on that bracelet, shocked me is all." Finn nodded and apologized.

"Finn, where'd you get that from anyway? You weren't wearing it when you picked me up?" Rachel asked fiddling with Finn's wrist and the bracelet.

"Kurt gave it to me this morning! It's awesome!" and then Kurt jumped up.

"I have them for everybody! It's out of necklaces or bracelets!" Kurt said, seeing a chance to get this over and done with.

Getting them on everybody was easy, he even got one on Mr. Schue. But he struggled with Santana. She stood as far away as she possible could from him and refused to look up. She looked scared of him and this was making most if the glee club laugh. Blaine however realised something bad really was happening with her and looked concerned. And Matt was frowning because HE KNEW.

"Santana? At least look up?" She did so nervously and looked straight in his eyes. Kurt took his chance before she could look away.

"Stop being afraid, Santana. I'm not going to hurt you. Okay?" Santana breathed out shakily and nodded. "Now I want you to wear this and never take it off." he said, repeating what he'd said to everyone else and holding up the pretty necklace. She nodded again and walked over cautiously, like Kurt would jump at her and bite her at any second. She took it from him and placed it around her neck before hurrying back to her seat.

"How'd you calm her down so easily?" Blaine asked from where he stood besides Kurt.

"Dunno'. Maybe she's just acting a little weird today? I don't know what's going on with her." he lied and sat back down.

The rest of the day had been easy. His classes were easier than before because of how quick he could think now. He bumped into a spot of trouble in gym. He didn't want to risk it so he went straight up to Coach Beiste and said "Let me sit out of gym." she'd answered with a simple okay and all the guys gaped at how easy it was for him. Finn tried it and got yelled at. It was funny to watch. And then in French he spoke so fluently his teacher didn't understand. Then at lunch he didn't really know about food, until he heard Matt whispering at him from a way off telling him that his body functions like normal but he still needs blood. So basically Kurt could eat. And then at the end if the day, he lied to Blaine's face again and told him Finn brought him to school. So they both went back in Blaine's car.

The house was empty as usual when they got back and Blaine went straight to Kurt's room. It wasn't long before Blaine's lips were on his and sending a clear message that he wanted to take advantage of the empty house again. Kurt went with it. He loved kissing Blaine and having sex with him. But he froze.
He could feel Blaine's blood pulsing through his veins. Blood. The blood lust was taking over and Kurt knew it. He felt himself leaning back into the kiss, sucking Blaine's lower lip into his mouth, his teeth grazing it gently, slowly starting to bite down. (Blaine letting out a deep moan as he did so)
Then the doorbell and Blaine pulled away. Kurt realised what he was about to do and ducked his head to hide his face.

"I'll get it." he murmured before leaving the room. Once out he ran at vampire speed to the door and opened it without thinking about the fact his face was currently vamping out.

"KURT!" he jumped at Caroline's voice. He closed his eyes and tried to calm down. The Jeremy guy was there too.

"Caroline! Thank god your here!" Kurt whispered, knowing Blaine would be trying to listen.

"Kurt, what happened?" She hissed.

"Can you come in and I'll tell you?" he pleaded.

"I'd love to, but I can't." Kurt suddenly remembered the fact vampires can't enter without the owners consent.

"Shit. I'm the only one home! But you have such good timing!"

"What happened? You face was vamped out when you opened the door, which was a stupid move because what if it hadn't been us?"

"I didn't mean to lose control! It'd been going great all day! Who knows what would've happened if you didn't show up." Caroline opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by Blaine yelling down to Kurt as he made his way downstairs.

"Kurt? I think you made me bleed!" Kurt's hand leaped to his mouth and started shaking his head in disbelief. Blaine then appeared at his shoulder fingering his bottom lip, which was indeed bleeding.

Kurt looked away as he felt himself vamping out. He could smell Blaine's blood and it smelt fucking delicious.

"Do you mind if I borrow Kurt a second? Here, talk to Jeremy." she said, pushing him and beckoning Kurt to come out. He did so without a word to Blaine and shut the door behind him.

"Kurt! What was you t"Heyhinking!"

"I was thinking I was horny as fuck and we were going to have sex and suddenly I can practically feel the blood pumping through his veins and I didn't mean to! He's the last person I want to hurt!" Kurt said, letting tears fall from his eyes. Caroline sighed and wrapped an arm around him.

"Your emotions are heightened, remember? Your gunna' feel horny all the time. But maybe you should lay off the sex until you can control yourself properly. If me and Jer hadn't shown up, who knows what would've happened?"

"He has Vervain in his system though, wouldn't it of hurt me?"

"Yes but, he'd remember it and you wouldn't be able to compulse to forget."

"I'm so stupid!" Kurt groaned. Caroline squeezed him tighter.

"No you're not. You'll get there eventually. Plus he is really hot."

"And gay." Kurt said defensively. Caroline laughed.

"I'm not trying to move in on your guy, Kurt." Kurt raised an eyebrow. "I'm serious! I have a boyfriend! Sort of..." she frowned.

"Sort of?"

"It's a long story." Caroline sighed and squeezed him again. He was going to say something but stopped when a car pulled up the drive. Finn parked and then got out of his car.

"Hey, you can get invited in by any human that lives in the house? Right?" Caroline nodded and Finn walked up to them.

"Hey Kurt, who's this?" He said opening the door to the house.

"Caroline, meet Finn, my step-brother. Finn this is Caroline, now be a gentleman and invite her in." Kurt said, a joking tone in his voice to make him look like he was joking. Finn shot him an odd look, shrugged and then turned to Caroline.

"Hey, Come in." Finn said smiling. Kurt and Caroline then walked in and went to the kitchen to find Blaine and Jeremy laughing and Blaine holding an ice pack to his lip.

"Blaine, I'm sorry i bit you. And i'm sorry i made you bleed. I didn't mean to..."

"It's fine, Kurt." Blaine said smiling.

"I'm still sorry." Mainly because it could of ended worse. "Anyway, this Caroline."

"Hi!" She said cheerily and held out her hand. Blaine shook it smiling.

"Do we have any food?" Finn asked, strolling into the kitchen and making his way straight to the fridge. Kurt just stared at him.

"Do you ever stop eating?" He asked.

"Yes. When I sleep, when i go to school stuff like that." Obviously Finn had detected the sarcasm in that question. "Anyway, I'm grabbing some food then going to play COD. Sam's using Puck's xBox and-"

"I don't really care, Finn." Finn frowned at him. He then shut the fridge and moved to a cupboard and grabbing a bag of chips.

"I'll be in my room." He said and walked out.

"Sorry about him, he's... special." Caroline giggled and Blaine smirked at him.

"Kurt, as much as i'd love to stay, I've got to head home. I've got a lot of homework and stuff." Blaine looked down and Kurt immediately knew something was wrong.

"But, we were going to..." He strayed away, a little uncomfortable with Caroline and Jeremy there. "And that would've of taken much longer than the time we've actually spent here?" Blaine sighed.

"My dad text me while you were talking with Caroline. He wants me home." He still wasn't looking up, so Kurt moved forwards and grabbed his hand.

"There's more than that, Blaine."

"No it's nothing, Kurt. Just leave it." Blaine was always like this when his father was mentioned. It confused Kurt to no end. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" Kurt sighed, letting it drop but making a mental note to bring it up late.

"Okay." Blaine looked up then and leaned forwards to place a lingering kiss on Kurt's lips. Kurt returned it slowly. It was a sweet kiss, but Kurt could feel the blood pulsing through him again. Kurt pulled away, feeling his face change and looked away from Blaine, hiding it.

"Kurt?" Blaine sounded concerned. Kurt realized he must be acting weird.

"It's fine Blaine. I'll talk to you tomorrow." Blaine sighed and leaned around him and placed a kiss on cheek before whispering in his ear.

"I Love you." Kurt felt tears in his eyes as he returned it and Blaine left. The second Blaine was out the door, Kurt collapsed onto a chair and let the tears fall freely down his face.

So... Do you guys like this chapter? I'm a bit unsure of it. Please tell me things i can improve on?

i guess i'm adding a bit of blangst into it too. I let my fics write themselves and i ALWAYS end up with some form of angst. and i ended up writing over 4,000 words again... ;)

I was also going to update Torment at the same time, but when i saved it, it said i wasn't logged in (I have to write straight to FF because the laptop i'm using has no program to write with.) and it deleted everything. And it will take a while for me to write it all over again, so I'm just uopdating this now.:)

anyway thanks to KlaineShipper97 for the review.I will add Blaine's reaction eventually. I can't just not do that when Kurt's a vampire:D and thank you:)

Please review you oppinions? It makes me write and i feel discouraged to write if i feel like people aren't reading or they don't like it...:L I'm not pressuring you, I'm not just going to drop the story, it just happens to motivate me and i feel like the chapters turn out better like that.
