Kurt had spent weeks with Damon and Stefan. It was Christmas Eve when he, and them, thoroughly believed he could control himself now, and he could finally go home. Safe to say he was buzzing as he packed up his stuff. Elena said she would help him but he was done in seconds. Elena, Caroline and Bonnie both gave him hugs before he left, where the guys just shook his hand. He knew they'd come check up on him so he wasn't nervous about missing any of them, but he was definitely glad that he didn't have to go through any more 'training'. Especially with Alaric. Kurt shook himself from his train of thought and started making his way back home.

It took him less than a minute.

He hadn't called ahead so he knew they weren't expecting him. So he stopped outside the door and knocked loudly and listened as someone came to open it.

"I swear if it's more carolers..." Burt's sentence was lost as he grumbled incoherently. Kurt giggled just before the door swung open. He smiled brightly as his fathers face fell in shock. "Kurt?"

"Surprise!" He said, opening out his arms, and his smile widening. Burt grinned and rushed forwards to grip Kurt in a hug.

"What're you doing here?" He asked, pulling Kurt inside.

"I wasn't going to miss Christmas!" He replied, pulling out of the hug and beaming at him. Suddenly Carole came from the kitchen.

"Burt? Who was at th-Kurt!"

"Hi!" He moved out of Burt's arms to hug Carole too. She kissed his head before letting him go.

"You're back!" She said, grinning.

"I am." He laughed.

"We're all going to be together for Christmas! This is great! Now I can cook with someone I trust!" Kurt smiled. "Now go put your stuff away and go tell Finn you're back!" Kurt nodded and placed a quick kiss on his dads cheek before picking up his bag and rushing upstairs. He dropped his bag on his bed before skipping into Finn's room happily.

Finn didn't even notice him enter. He was too focused on his game and he was speaking through his headphones, completely oblivious to Kurt's presence. Kurt smiled before tiptoeing behind him and then covering his eyes with his hands. Finn jumped and his character got shot at the same time.

"Mom! Get off!" Kurt scowled.

"Nice way to treat your brother when he get's home. By calling him mom?" Kurt let his hands fall from Finn's face and placed them on his hips. Finn turned, his eyes wide with shock, but a grin on his face.

"Kurt!" He bounded up from his seat a grabbed Kurt; hugging him tightly. "You're home."

"Really? I thought I was-"

"Shuddup." He mumbled and gripped Kurt tighter. Kurt giggled and finally hugged Finn back. "Have you called Blaine yet?" He muttered, not moving out of the hug.

"No... but you're going to organize for New Directions to meet up tomorrow and exchange gifts." Kurt said, pulling himself from the hug and sitting down gracefully on Finn's bed.

"I am?" Kurt nodded.

"Yes. And I can see them all then. Including Blaine." Finn nodded before smiling again and sitting down besides Kurt. "Now... You need tell me everything I've missed. Right now."

"Okay... We starred in a Christmas special that Artie directed!" Kurt happy face immediately turned into jealousy. "Artie's original idea was supposed to be centered around you and Blaine, but because you weren't there, it was Blaine and Rachel." Kurt pouted now. This catch-up session was just depressing. "And we sang to homeless kids. And I got Rachel a pig." Kurt raised an eyebrow, intrigued. " Never mind." Finn shrugged it off. "And Puck's game night was kinda' cool. Though you didn't have to crash that by sexting your boyfriend."

"Kay Bye!" Kurt ran from the room, blood rushing to his cheeks. That wasn't a topic he was okay with talking about in front of his brother. He heard Finn snickering and thought whether it'd be a good idea to go back in there to slap him to make him shut up, but decided against it and collapsed upon his bed.

"Finn! What're we doing here!" Rachel said, teeth chattering and rubbing her arms due to the cold.

"Erm..." Finn didn't know how to cover up. "Just... urm, shut up till everyone else is here?" She nodded and continued rubbing her arms. Finn noticed and shrugged off his jacket. "Here." He said, handing it over.

Rachel smiled before taking it and shoving it on. It easily dwarfed her but still provided the warmth she wanted. "Thanks."

They waited in silence for a few minutes until they heard a voice.

"Finn!" The boy in question turned to see Blaine jogging towards to the two.

"'Sup dude." Finn said as Blaine came to a stop in front of them.

"'Sup." Blaine said absently in return. He smiled at Rachel before turning back to Finn. "How's Kurt? I text him this morning but he never replied."

"Er... He's probably sleeping." Finn covered. Blaine raised an eyebrow, knowing when Finn lies but didn't have the energy to push further. He looked down at the floor where he was absentmindedly kicking the snow.

They didn't say anymore. And were left in the cold, silent park, waiting for everyone else to show up. It wasn't too long until they were all there. Finn had managed to stop them from exchanging gifts for the mean time.

Kurt sneaked up on the group after a text from Finn saying they were all there. He was about ten meters away, right behind Blaine. Finn saw him first and nodded, smiling. He then leaned over to whisper into Puck's ear. Puck's eyes caught Kurt and his face broke into a grin. It didn't take long until they'd all noticed him, with the exception of Blaine.

He then tiptoed over, making sure to be quiet, and the second he was right behind Blaine, he lifted his hands and covered his eyes, biting his lower lip to stop himself from laughing.

Confused, Blaine lifted his own hands and held Kurt's wrists. Kurt felt him smile before he turned, dropping his hands and leaving Kurt's to fall into place around his neck.

"Happy Christmas, Blaine." Kurt whispered before pulling Blaine in for kiss. Blaine sighed and kissed back, lifting his own arms to encircle Kurt's waist. Kurt pulled away quickly, resting his forehead against Blaine. "I love you."

"I love you too." He kissed Kurt again. The pulled away again when they heard Santana and Puck wolf whistling. Kurt was about to say something along the lines of 'I missed you', but he was attacked by a small brunette whirlwind known as Rachel Berry.

"KURT!" Kurt groaned and tried to push her away, not really trying because it was actually kind of sweet.

"Finn! Please control your girlfriend." Rachel giggled and pulled away.

"I missed you!"

"And I missed my boyfriend." He pulled away from her to back to a snickering Blaine and snuggled himself into his arms.

"Good to see you're back, Hummel." Puck said, smiling. Kurt just grinned back, holding Blaine tighter, but not too tight.

It wasn't long before gifts started to be handed out. No one had thought Kurt was coming, and they didn't want to give it to Finn to hand over because they wanted to see him open them, so they hadn't brought his. Not that Kurt minded. He said that their gift to them was his presence. He got a few smirks at that.

He stayed wrapped in Blaine's arms as everyone was opening and handing out presents. He didn't even let Blaine go to open his, he wanted to stay like that. Blaine was warm and he missed him.

"I know we promised not to get each other gifts-" Blaine started off, whispering into Kurt's ear.

"Blaine." Kurt shot him a look.

"Let me finish. To be fair, I didn't buy it. I made it. And it's at home, but I want to give it to you as soon as I can." Kurt sighed, but upon seeing the hopeful look in Blaine's eyes, he gave him a chaste kiss on the lips instead moaning about gifts.

"Love you." Kurt mumbled against his lips.

"Love you mor-"

A ball of cold, wet snow then hit the two boys, effectively cutting Blaine off. Kurt turned his head to glare at whoever threw it, but he didn't know who it was because everyone was looking at them smiling. Kurt shook his head, looking down at his slightly wet clothes. They really shouldn't have done that.

It wasn't long before they were split into two teams. Kurt and Puck (the one who had threw the first snowball) were the the team captains. Kurt's team was Rachel, Finn, Brittany, Matt, Sugar, Tina and Rory. And Puck's team was Santana, Sam, Mike, Mercedes, Quinn and Blaine. Kurt doesn't know why Blaine was on the opposing team, but he knew he wasn't going to lose. Because he also had Matt on his team.

The fight seemed to take forever, mainly because Kurt wasn't really trying at first. Just weaving in and out of the way, sticking out his tongue whenever Blaine missed him. Soon enough though, the only people left on his side was him and Matt. And on theirs was only Puck, Santana and Blaine.

Kurt held a ball of snow, staring at it intently. He smiled sweetly at Blaine before throwing it, even though it wasn't Blaine who he had threw at.

The snow hit Puck right in the face. He and Matt were too busy laughing too notice that Blaine and Santana were taking advantage of their moment. Kurt had only just stepped out of the way, by accident, when a snowball whizzed past his face. His jaw dropped at how close that had been, before turning and realizing it had hit Matt instead of him. So Kurt was left on his own.

He bent down and made two snowballs quickly, knowing he wouldn't need any more than that.

And then it was only him and Blaine...

Kurt juggled the remaining snowball in his hands, debating on how to control his strength so he didn't throw it too hard.

Blaine looked nervous and was seriously considering surrendering. Kurt just had this evil kind of glint in his eye and he knew that he was going to lose either way.

Kurt mouth 'Love You' at him before throwing the snowball, observing how Blaine didn't even make the slightest movement to get out of the way. He just let the snowball hit him.

Kurt's team jumped up and cheered, but Kurt made hi way over to Blaine.

"Aww. Did Blainey get hit by itty bitty snowball?" Kurt teased when he got closer.

"I let you win." Blaine mumbled, wiping off the snow from his chest.

"I know. But I would have won anyway." Kurt smiled, wrapping his arms around Blaine and kissing him lightly on the cheek.

"I know."

Kurt giggled and squeezed Blaine a little tighter.

"And I love you too." Blaine said, pressing his cold lips against Kurt's.
