Kurt was chatting mindlessly to Blaine beside the other boys' locker when his hearing caugh onto something a few halls away, but Blaine's voice kept interrupting his concentration. He held a finger to his lips and ignored the confused look on his face, but thankful he remained silent so Kurt could focus completely.

At first he didn't recognize anything out of the ordinary. Just a bunch of Cheerios flirting with a new guy and being extremely over the top. Then he heard the 'new guy' speak.

"Oh shit." Kurt said, confused but also worried. He wouldn't come unless it was urgent, right?

"Kurt? What's wrong?" Blaine asked, looking at him, worriedly.

Kurt groaned subconsciously. He'd clearly heard the two of them and was now heading over, to do god knows what, his band of Cheerios following eagerly.

Before Kurt could even think about running away in the hopes he'd come back in a much less public place, he was coming down the hall, smirking as the Cheerios came right behind him.

"Whoa… Who's he?" Blaine asked, eyes wide as he watched.

"Damon Salvatore, full time asshole." Kurt replied, scowling. Damon's smirk grew bigger as Kurt realized everyone in the hallway had heard him.

"Full time stud, you mean, Hummel." He said, stopping in front of Kurt and Blaine.

"In your dreams, Salvatore."

"Ouch, someone's bitchy today."

"You haven't seen me bitchy." Kurt narrowed his eyes.

"False. You were bitchy that week before Christmas when you ran out of moisturiser"

"I can be worse."

"Ooh, really! What happens when you get worse? Seeing as you destroyed my house until we supplied more moisturiser."

"Firstly, it's technically Elena's house. Secondly, I did not destroy it! You over exaggerate! Thirdly, you really don't want to see me worse."

Blaine frowned at the two, confused at the little banter. He felt something bubbling in his chest, and he didn't like it all.

"I can second that." Finn said, stopping beside them, earning himself a confused look from Damon and Blaine, and vicious glare from Kurt.

Finn sighed at Kurt before shrugging his shoulders and walking away, mutting something along the lines of 'Only speaking the truth'.

Kurt sighed, folding his arms. "What do you want, Damon?"

"You-" Kurt's eyes widened in shock, and he took a step back. "-and Curls Mcgee-" Blaine scowled. "-right now. We need to talk."

Kurt sighed and nodded. Damon smirked and walked over to one the Cheerios. "Now I don't want you or any of your little friends following us, okay? Go to your little cheerleader practise." She nodded and she walked away with her friends.

"You didn't have to compel her, Damon."

"Where's the fun in not doing it!"

Kurt just shook his head and grabbed Blaine's hand, pulling him away and down the hall, Damon following. He took them to an empty classroom, and didn't even jump when Matt appeared by his side and went in too. Damon locked the door behind them, huffing a little as he moved to sit on the front desk.

"What is it, Damon?" Kurt asked, oblivious to Blaine sitting in a seat and sulking.

"I paid a visit to your friend Kaiser."

"You did what?"

"How?"

"How did you get into my house?"

The only question Damon answered was Blaine's.

"I didn't. Simple as that. I waited for your dad to leave and just sat outside. Vampire hearing."

"Why did you even go!" Kurt exclaimed, furiously. Neither Blaine or Matt knew why he was particularly angry at this. Maybe he was just touchy with the subject…. It was the person who'd ruined his life after all.

"I wanted to find out some info. But I had to make an offer to get it."

"And what was that?" Matt asked, pushing himself away from the wall.

"I offered to help free him as soon as I can."

"You did what!" Kurt stood now, angrier than before.

"Chill out... The second you two free him, me and Alaric are going to kill him." Kurt's eyes widened and he didn't know what to say.

"… What was this information you wanted from him?" Matt asked, frowning.

"Kurt wasn't the only person he turned that night."

The silence that followed was filled with so much tension, it could've been cut with a butter knife.

"W-who?" Blaine stuttered, breaking the silence, his eyes wide with fear.

Damon shrugs. "I don't know. He wouldn't tell me. Which is why I'm telling you. If you suspect anyone, tell me."

"Why you? Why not Stefan?" Matt asked, his eyes narrowing.

"Because Stefan doesn't have to know."

"But you'll kill them. We all know it. Whether they've done anything wrong or not!"

Damon scowls and gets up off the desk. "It's less of a hassle that way. They've probably killed already anyway. Any deaths in the news?"

Matt bites his lip. "Just one…"

"What! When?" Kurt asks, turning to Matt.

"It was when you were 'sick'." Blaine replies, using air quotes. Kurt didn't even bat an eye in response.

"How did they explain it?"

"…Torn apart by an animal."

"They're covering up. Any missing people?"

"Two…"

"I'm right. And you know it. Something's going on. There's a new vampire loose, and it knows how to hide its tracks. Or it's just so out of control it can't contain itself while feeding. We need to find it."

"Anything else?" Blaine asks, getting up, a frown still placed on his features.

"Not for you, Hobbit." Blaine rolls his eyes and sends a side glance at Kurt before storming past Damon and unlocking the door, walking out of the room without another word.

Matt watched him before turning to glare at Kurt, who gave him a shocked look in response. Matt huffed and pushed Kurt towards the door. "Go after him you idiot."

Kurt frowned before sighing and running after him. He caught up to him in an empty hallway, sulking.

"Blaine? Blaine, what's wrong?" Blaine turned and stopped, tears in his eyes.

"What's wrong! What's wrong is that some totally hot guy comes into the school and you act like you've known each forever. Scratch that, you act like boyfriends! First the fucking cute banter in front of everyone, and then you blatantly ignoring me and not sticking up for me when he calls me names!"

Kurt looks at him shocked, his mouth falling open. "I… What?"

"Don't act stupid, Kurt. You know you did it."

"I... I'm sorry. I didn't realize it make you angry or jealous or whatever… and honestly I'm fucking terrified of what I just learnt that I wasn't entirely focused on my boyfriend. And I'm sorry. And I mean that."

Blaine sighs, frowning at him. He shakes his head and goes to turn away, but freezes at the sight at the end of the hallway. Kurt looks over too, his eyes widening.

A man and woman stood at the end of the hallway. The woman had long, black, curly hair, and hazel eyes. She was short, definitely compared to man beside her. He was very handsome, young and bright blue eyes defining his looks. His soft brown hair looked shiny even from this far away.

And them Blaine's broken voice, whispering out just one word.

"M-Mom?"

Also because I need name ideas for his mom, and just some blatant ideas on what's going to happen in the next chapter. The shall be klaine angst. I know that much.

I love you guys:)
