CHAPTER 20: THE BIG DAY...

DEEKS P.O.V.

FEBUARY 6th...

Today Kensi and I are getting married, and then in two months on April 6th we would celebrate the anniversary of the day we met.

Nell and Eric had a few weeks ago become a couple.

I stood next to the minister as Sam and Eric stood next to me and I waited for Callen to walk Kensi down the aisle.

Looking around Kensi and I had invited to the wedding...

The Gibbs team from DC...

Gibbs, Tony, Ziva, Abby, Tim and even Director Vance were there.

I also saw Julia Feldman, Hetty and a few more friends we had invited. I had invited a few cops from the LAPD that I actually got along with.

The music started and I looked to see Nell walking just in front of Kensi. It was obvious that Kensi was pregnant, but Kensi had said she wanted to be married before the twins got here and at the same time she did not want to look to fat.

I had made the mistake of saying we could wait until the kids were out of college and paid for it by sleeping on the couch for a week.

Then Kensi was standing beside me and smiling.

"We are gathered here today..." I hardly heard a word of the minister's speech as I looked into Kensi's beautiful mismatched eyes.

"Marty..." Kensi hissed and I realized it was time for me to say my vows.

I took a deep breath...

"Kensi...I love you more than anything. More the surfing and I already love our kids. I'll take care of you and our family. I will protect this family forever and do whatever it takes to make you happy. I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together." I told her as I noticed the tears in her eyes.

Then it was Kensi's turn...

"Marty...from the day we met there was something about you and at first I couldn't figure out what it was. Then everyone began to pick on you and I saying the two of us had a 'thing' and I tried for so long to deny it. I woke up in the hospital that day and you confronted me never giving up until I finally admitted there is a 'thing' between us. I am happy to be able to spending the rest of our lives together as well and happy that we are about to add two kids to our family." Kensi said and when she finished the tears had started to fall a little harder.

"You may kiss the bride." I heard the minister say and with a smile at Kensi I kissed her.

Kensi wrapped her arms around my neck and deepened the kiss.

KENSI'S P.O.V.

It seemed a long time but we finally pulled apart. I smiled at Marty and he smiled back.

"I now give you for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Martin Andrew Deeks." The minister announced and everyone cheered.

Then Marty and I began to make our way down the aisle, the next stop being the reception.

"Hey Princess want to skip the reception?" Marty whispered and I elbowed him. "No we can't." I replied though the idea of skipping the reception was very tempting.

"Why not Fern, I think everyone would understand." Marty told me with a grin and for a second I considered again about giving in. "We can't." I repeated.
