The Adventures of Skull and Ri

8.3: Meeting the Vongola (Terrorizing Reborn), Part 3

Reborn scuttled to a hiding place in Tsuna's room as soon as he escaped the snake like stare of Potter Harry who immediately accepted the affection of Lambo and I-Pin, his lips curving into a knife like smile. Even Fuuta seemed enamored with the femininely dressed male. In fact, all of the children were happily relaying tales of their lives in the Sawada household to Potter and Reborn knew, eventually, that something would finally set the protective, mother bear off.

This would not turn out well for Reborn, especially when Potter heard of the repeated fights and smacks Lambo had received from Reborn.

Thinking of Potter's viciousness made him shudder and remember how he had ran afoul the first and ever since permanent time with the slender cross dresser.

FLASHBACK – RESUMED!

Reborn, oh so confidently and casually, jerked Skull out of the arms of the pretty woman and tossed him dispassionately and uncaringly over his shoulder.

"Ciaossu, bella donna, what is your name?" Reborn said pouring on the charm. He didn't notice how the smile seemed to freeze on the woman's face or the fact her eyes shuttered into a dark irritation.

Skull meanwhile struggled to his feet and grew angry.

"Oi! What are you doing Reborn?!" Skull yelled waving his fist at the Sun Acrobaleno. "Leave Ri-chan alone!"

"Ah, so your name is Ri? It is beautiful, like you," Reborn continued suavely.

Skull twitched in clear irritation.

"Leave Number One Fan alone!" Skull continued yelling, threatening. Reborn grew irritated and whipped out a gun, never realizing Leon had scampered away and was hiding under his hat, and shot at Skull who gamely dodged shrieking in fear.

The hand he was holding bit down, long nails curling into his arm. He actually winced and glanced up as he finally realized the gentle looking woman had a smile that would kill.

"Ara?" This Ri woman said, her voice drawling in a very dangerous fashion, "You hurt my darling. You're a naughty child, aren't you?"

Reborn's ear was suddenly in a pinching grip.

He hissed in pain.

"I am Reborn, the greatest hitman in the world! You cannot treat me in this fashion!" Reborn snarled. A chilling shiver went down his spine when her lips curled further.

"Naughty children, will get what naughty children deserve. But then, you're not a child, so allow me to properly reinstruct you on how to treat other with decency. Electrically."

Reborn was, to his eternal humiliation and ghostly pains, spanked ten times before being electrocuted with Lightning Dying Will Flames.

After that punishment he'd been wary of Ri ever since. Though he wouldn't know he was a man until sometime later.

FLASHBACK END!

Reborn shuddered as he felt the phantom strikes of Ri's hand on his posterior followed by the heavy bolt of electrocution running through his body. As an Acrobaleno he'd survived it easily. The promising curve on Potter's mouth saying he'd always survive it caused him to shudder.

Then he felt a very familiar wave a killing intent and turned, almost like prey facing its doom, to the door.

"What is this I hear about you mistreating a five year old, Reborn-baka?" A furious Potter asked calmly.

Reborn might have, though he'd never admit it, pissed himself here.

Probably because of the oh-so-familiar cattle prod in Potter's hand.
