The Adventures of Skull and Ri
9.2: Italy, France, and Money, Oh My! Part 2
Skull cackled as he and Ri-chan raced down the countryside and the coast. It was like their engagement vacation all over. They'd split off for the final week in Italy to spend on their own (most of the Nono's guardians had escaped as soon as possible, along with Reborn) or in groups. Most of the Vongola Guardians were under the watchful eyes of Nono and the Varia, while Gokudera, Yamamoto, Nana-san, and Tsuna were taking a trip to Venice. The Simon family, meanwhile, were following behind the two motorcyclists in canvas top jeeps.
"Go Ri-san!" Julie shouted as the slender ride rose up on one wheel and sped along the road past Skull who cackled and copied him.
"Sugoi," Enma marveled, "Who knew Ri-san was so fearless?" He took a few pictures to show Tsuna later. The brunet Vongola leader would definitely be just as amazed.
"You missed him going after Xanxus when the man dared to blow one of wall after Superbi pissed him off," their driver commented. Enma turned and gaped at him. All of the Simon family had guards and drivers, something they hadn't in Japan, Ri-san supporting them having some freedom. Italy, of course, was different.
"What did he do?" Adelheid asked in interest. New punishments always did. She deeply respected Ri-chan as well. He was like an elder-sister/mother/role model to the black haired girl. He was very impressive when his temper cracked, and he helped her keep the rest of the family tightly in line. Ri-chan had a smile that could kill.
"I'm not sure exactly, but one moment Xanxus was roaring how he wasn't going to be bossed around by some little cross dressing shrimp and the next he was exploded out a window with what looked like Lightning Dying Will flames, Ri-sama quickly following cursing up a storm about idiotic children, and sent Xanxus back with bright pink hair done into an afro and wearing a Swan Princess tutu. He kept a low profile since." The man admitted honestly. "I think most of the Varia broke a gut laughing over it and I'm pretty sure the Boss has pictures for future blackmail."
Adelheid's mouth dropped open and a giggle escaped, her usual stern or disproving visage disappearing.
Enma marveled at it, deeply thankful towards Ri-san for letting this old part of Adelheid free.
He turned forward and sweated when he realized Ri-san was still popping wheelies.
He was so crazy.
Enma was, however, really looking forward to touring Rome and the Adelfi coast for the next seven days. It was going to be spectacular.
