Author's Note: We are now heading towards the end of this story. This is where I have the most trouble as I sort of just write as I go. So be prepared for some crappy chapters.

Chapter 27:
An Unlikely Triple Alliance

Now that Fawful and his minion Midbus were gone, Dimentio can turn his attention on his captive heroes trapped. They were trying to free themselves from their box prison, but there was no way they could escape his magical boxes.
"Let us go!" Daisy
Dimentio chuckled. "I don't think so, princess. The last thing I want is for you to interrupt the process. But don't worry; I'm not going to kill you. Not yet anyways."
He snapped his fingers and surprisingly, the boxes disappeared. Mario, Peach, and Daisy were stun for a second. But as soon as they recovered, magical ropes appeared and lasso around them. They struggled against it as the magical rope ties them together and restrain them from moving.
"Comfortable?" His question was met with multiple glares.
"Good. Now that you're all taken care of, you can all watch as I regain the item that will grant me my throne. And once I'm ruler of all worlds, your deaths will be met soon after."
"You wouldn't get away with this, Dimentio." Peach
"Ah, but I already have, my dear."
Dimentio turn his attention back on the triangle as the others fight to free themselves. They struggled for a while but they couldn't break through the ropes.
"Ah, it is done."
They paused to look up at the process of the Triangle. The Gem of Form had done its job and now Dimentio was on the final process of the Triangle. The Reality Glass; the key item that will make this second Chaos Heart real… along with all its power.
The nearly completed Chaos Heart was moving in position to the mirror. Mario growled and struggled harder against the ropes. Dimentio simply laughs. He knew they could not stop him from getting what he wants.
"One more process," he said. "A simple reflection… and the Chaos Heart will be mine."
"Well then, I guess we made it here just in time."
Everyone paused and sprung around to the entrance where the source of the voice came from. That person was hiding in the shadows so Mario and the princess couldn't really see who it was. Dimentio, however, can clearly see who this person was.
"You…" Dimentio sneered. "Ah yes, I remember you."
The person stepped out of the shadows and into the light for all to see. "Yes me; I would like to have my book back please."
"Cybele?" Mario was surprise to see the old sorceress here as well as the others. "What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like, youngster. I'm here to help. In fact…"
Cybele lifted her staff and performed a spell. A large white blanket appeared out of thin air and wrapped itself around the Reality Glass, preventing any reflection to land on its glass.
"…That should prolong the procedure."
Dimentio growled and turn back to the old woman.
"You may have temporary paused the process, but…" He smirked. "Do you honestly think an old fool like you can singly stand a chance against me?"
Cybele smiled softly. "Now, now, who said that I came alone?"
Dimentio narrowed his eyes suspiciously as two other individuals appeared from behind the shadows and stood by Cybele's side.
"What? Fawful?" Dimentio
"Surprise traitorous fink rat? Fawful did say clown will pray for betrayal."
Dimentio was a little surprise to see Fawful and Midbus again. But to see who they had team up with made him laugh.
"Seriously, you team up with her? An outdated sorceress?" He wiped a tear out of his eye. "Honestly, I thought you knew better."
Fawful growled. "Fawful did not associate with sorceress. Sorceress is merely a companion of travel. Fawful alliance with someone else"
"Oh?" Dimentio said nonchalantly. "And who might that be?"
"I guess that would be me."
A fourth individual appeared from the shadows. The jester's eyes widen in shock at the sight of him. The sudden appearance of this person caused Mario, Peach, and Daisy to gasp in surprise as they usher his name.
"Luigi!"
That's right, everyone. The long overdue hero in green is back in his natural color with his trusty ghost pup by his side, ready for some action. Mario, Peach, and Daisy were overwhelmed to see him here but Dimentio was not.
"How?!" The jester snarled. "You're supposed to died…I saw it myself."
The Green Wonder smiled as he repeated the same words the jester told him all those weeks ago.
"Well, it's quite a story to tell, really. One you might not understand."
"Don't you mock me," The jester growled. "Regardless if the spell killed you or not, it's obvious to see that it had left you weak… too weak to be much of a threat"
That was true. Luigi did look died on his feet and ready to collapse any moment now. But if there was one thing about Luigi Mario is that he never likes to do anything with a plan.
"You're right; I'm not strong enough to go against you." He smiled. "That's what I bought someone you can."
"Please…those three are hardly a match against me."
Luigi shook his head. "No, I meant someone else. He just wanted to make a dramatic entrance."
As soon as he said that, a loud rumbling noise was heard. Everyone was as it continues to get louder. They look up to the ceiling where it was coming from. Suddenly, the ceiling collapsed and a large being fell heavily on the ground.
"GGRRRAAAAHHHH!" He roared which caused the entire room to shake. "Alright, who's the chump who has the nerves to take my princess right from me?"

Yup, that's right. The Koopa King known as Bowser's here and boy did he look mad. Dimentio sneer and laid his attention on the large koopa.
"Ah yes, the arm flailer…How can I forget?" Bowser stepped forward and puffed,
"So, Green 'Stache was right; Mr. Frilly Pants is back." He points a claw at the jester. "Listen up crown…Stealing Princess Peach is MY thing. No one, and I mean no one, gets to steal her but me!"
"For the record, I had no intention on stealing her. She came to face me of her own free will, knowing full well what awaits her."
"Pfft, whatever; I'm still going to pound you for messing with my plans."
Dimentio chuckled. "You…pound me? Highly unlikely"
"Oh right?" Bowser grunt "We'll see about that clown face."
…
As the Koopa King and the sinister jester battle it out, Luigi and Cybele ran to the aid of the others. Although happy to see the green plumber, they were still worried about his well-being. Once Cybele untied them from the magical rope, Luigi was immediately pulled into a crushing hug by Daisy.
"Luigi! You're okay!"
Luigi blushes and hugs her back.
"How did you guys get here?" Peach
Luigi release Daisy and answered. "Bowser flew us here on his airship."
"Bowser?"
"Why would he do that?" Mario
Luigi rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I kind of told him that I'll lead him to Peach."
They looked at him with a confused look, urging him to explain.
"A few hours after you guys left, Bowser came by to kidnap Peach. When he realized she wasn't there, he turn to us to tell him on her whereabouts. I told him I'll take him to her only if he brings us along."
"And Fawful?"
"We met up with him along the way. After saving him, he told us that Dimentio double crossed him and send him out to sea. I took him if he led us to the Ruins; we can team up to get his revenge."
"To be honest, I didn't really want to on coming but he managed to persuade me otherwise." Cybele said, looking over to the green plumber.
Luigi frown. "Well, I figure your knowledge on the Construction Triangle will help and I couldn't sit around knowing you guys were up against Dimentio. It took four of us to stop him last time and with the Chaos Heart involved, we'll need all four heroes to stop it again."
"Well, whatever your reason maybe, I'm just glad you're doing better." said Peach as she hugged the younger plumber.
Luigi blush slightly and hugs her back. "Thank you, princess."
"Is Green Mustache done?"
Luigi broke out of the hug and turn to the green bean. "Yes."
"Good. Fawful has retrieve Crystal." Fawful stood in front of them with the Crystal of Dreams in his hands. Midbus had join Bowser in the fight against Dimentio.
Bark Bark!
Spettro came running towards them with the Gem of Form in his mouth. He paused in front of his master and offers it to him. Luigi thanks his ghostly friend and took it from his mouth. Fawful look back at the triangle and frowned,
"Fawful does not understand. Crystal and gem have been seized but Triangle has not stopped"
"The Construction Triangle functions on its own much like a machine. Once it started, it won't stop until it's power source completely runs out."
"Fawful saw Jester put two magic sticks."
"Then the Triangle will last longer than normal. As long as the power source has power it will remain active." Cybele explains. "Crystal of Dreams and the Gem of Form have already done its job so they're no longer need. Although it won't stop it completely, we should remove the Reality Glass to prevent the Chaos Heart's completion."
"That won't be easy. Dimentio will fight tooth and nail to make sure we don't get to it." Daisy
"Even so, we have to at least try." Mario
Luigi thought about it for a second. "Actually bro, I might know how to do this but we're going to have to play it Dimentio's way."

Ending Note (For real this time):
Yay, Luigi's back and he's brought some back up - aka Bowser. So now it's an alliance between the Mario Crew, Fawful, and Bowser.
I'll have the next chapter up as soon as I can. I hope to finish this story in two - three weeks.
Also, I'm posting up the first chapter/preview of my new story, Dating the Enemy. I'll start working on that once I'm done with this story.
