A/N: Hello~ people of that want to kill me for not updating. First off, it's not my fault. Blame my laptop that broke, and then blame my older sister's boyfriend for not fixing it. I have work on my stories during school because I get easily bored in math and science and any other subject I have. Well, here is chapter two of Seven Sins of Hetalia.
Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia; if I did this story would become the next Hetalia movie, but better.

Chapter 2
"Once upon a time, there was a man who hated everybody he knew." A little girl's voice read. "He hated them because every one of them had something he wanted. He would go in the middle of the night and kill the person who had his object of desire. All the villagers in the town grew very afraid and very angry. They met up one night and decided to kill the man with a special poison and they would call it mystic water that could cure any ailment. It would be the last bottle, what made the poison special was that it had no taste and that the man would feel every bit of pain that his victims felt. The very next night, all the people heard was the loud cries and screams of the man as he slowly died. He became known as The Jealous Thief because of his envy of other people. The end."
America looked around, trying to find the source of the voice, but found no girl in the room. Canada and Britain both looked at America in concern as they saw that he was looking around the room. All three were snapped out of their thoughts and were focused back on the sin that was possessing Prussia. When the sin was sure that he had the entire nations' attention on him, he began to talk in rhyme.
"I know you well and you know me,
I'm Envy, your jealousy.
I'm there although you say I'm not,
Picking at your deepest thoughts.
When others succeed, there shall I be,
I'm discontent quite oftenly.
These feelings you have cannot be fixed,
I'm deadly sin number six."
"Release my brother!" Germany yelled at the sin now known as Envy. The sin looked at Germany like he was crazy, but responded to his demand.
"Why would I do that? I rather like being in this body in the real world, no longer a ghost of the past. Besides…what do you care about what happens to your so-called brother? Being in this body means I can see some of his memories and that means I know how all of you act around him. None of you have ever cared about him until now, right? He's just the trouble-making brother to you, isn't he?" The last part was directed to Germany.
Nobody moved. Everyone wanted to attack, but how could they fight a fellow nation? Everyone wanted to yell that the words weren't true, but they couldn't find the words to speak. Germany had grit his teeth in frustration as Envy continued talking.
"It's true, isn't it? See, you would have never thought about it until I had said something. You know what; I think I'll stick around a little longer. Later." As Envy was talking, he had slowly moved to the window of the meeting room. Taking a final glance toward America, he jumped from the window to the ground below.
All the countries ran to the window to see what happened. America was surprised to say the least. Why did Envy look at him if he had had no connection to him before. On the ground outside, Prussia stood at the entrance of the building and looked up.
"I want you to think about what I said before looking for the other sins. Believe me; some are closer than you think." With that said, he took off.
All the countries looked at each other before discussing what to do, England speaking first.
"I think we better contact the other countries to try and find the sins."
"What about Prussia!?" Germany yelled at him.
"We'll find him, don't worry Germany. Besides, the more countries mean more people that will keep a look out for him. What worries me though is that there has to be someone that we all know well that is being possessed because he said that 'some are closer than you think' and that is a big hint." England explained.
As everybody was discussing what to do, America remained in his thoughts.
'Why would Envy look at me like I know something?' He thought to himself.
As he was thinking, the voice came back and said a single sentence and America knew he was the only one who could hear it.
"There once was a man who wanted to control everything, even if it meant he had to control the sins."
Just as quickly as the voice had come, it was gone.
A/N: And that is the second chapter to Seven Sins of Hetalia! Who is the mysterious girl telling the story and why is America the only one to hear it? At the end of every chapter, the girl will say one line of the story that has begun at the end of this chapter. Well, ciao for now my dear readers~
