I was changing Hayate's diaper when my former band directors walk through the hospital door. The lights were dim but it was still easy to make out the tall figures. walked in first followed by then Keith.
"Tori, you look good, healthy." says taking a seat next to the hospital bed.
I kiss the baby's forehead then smile at . "Thanks, I feel fine for just having twins. Would you like to hold him?"
"Oh um," he was at a loss for words at the moment, "Sure, but- gosh this is embarrassing, how do you hold a baby?"
I chuckled at his ignorance and lack of common skills. I simply place the baby's head in the crook of his arm. Next thing you know, I can hear swooning at something on the other side of the room, where Kyoya was currently sleeping. When I look over, Sure enough, is swooning and awing at the sleeping man.
"I wouldn't want to wake him if I were you."
"And why not? What's the worse he can do give me a nasty glare?" asked with his hands on his hips. I grabbed Hiroshi and changed his diaper. Letting out a quick sigh, I shook my head then looked at the tranny band director.
"Yes, he even scares his own friends with the glares he gives off and besides, he was up all night with me so let him sleep. He needs his beauty sleep otherwise he won't get any customers." I smirk, knowing Kyoya was indeed woken up and was listening to our conversation. huffs then looks back at Kyoya who gives the man an evil glare.
"You've been awfully quiet Keith, what's the matter?" I look up at him as i finish up changing the baby.
"Really? Sorry, I was just thinking that's all." He looks down then back up with a face of forgetfulness. "Here, I brought you a present."
He handed me a bag that had music notes all over it. I looked inside then pulled out a blanket. Around the edge was a piano pattern, in the middle there was a bunch of music symbols. On the bottom of the bag was two more but smaller, for the babies.
"Oh Keith, thank you." I got up out of the hospital bed and gave him a hug, the baby in my arms the whole time. Then the baby stated crying, not the one I was holding but the other one, Hayate. I looked over at who had a worried look on his face.
"It's alright, he's just hungry." Kyoya sits up on the couch an i hand him Hiroshi, then I grab Hayate.
"Ok, I think that's our cue, come on lets go." starts pushing Keith and out of the door. Once they leave and the door is shut, I feed Hayate.
Eventually the nurse tells us that I can leave and we do right after all the paperwork is done. When we got home I asked two of the maids to bring the basinets to Kyoya's room. I set Hiroshi in his basinet and Hayate in the other. While the babies are sleeping I start on my schol work.
Fuyumi walks into the room about a half an hour later. She picks up one of the twins then starts cooing and cuddling the baby. I look over at Kyoya to see if he was still asleep, and sure enough he was. It was surprising to see that he could sleep through his sisters noise but not . I just assume he was used to his sister being in his room.
"Oh Tori I brought some toys for the babies. I know they won't be able to use them for awhile but it's nice to know that they will have something to play with." She kisses the baby's forehead then does the same with the other baby. Eventually she leaves then Yoshio comes in and takes Kyoya, leaving me in the room by myself, with the babies.
(With Kyoya)
Kyoya and Yoshio talk about the wedding and the plans for the future and the house. He also tells Kyoya that in order for him to inherit the business he needs to attend the business trip with him. They would be gone for about two weeks. Kyoya was a little iffy on leaving Tori behind for that long but if it meant securing their future then it was worth it.
When Kyoya walked back into his room, Tori was asleep with papers all around her and a text book laying across her stomach. He takes all the homework off the bed and puts it in a neat stack then lays Tori down correctly on the bed, since she was sitting up still. Kyoya pulls the blanket over Tori then kisses her forehead before leaving the room to discuss other matters.
