Lizy was hanging her new wardrobe in her closet. The last hour had been spent trying on clothes and in the end she had come away with a whole bag of clothing. She had tried to convince Ryou to let her pay him back sometime, but he just told her to think of it as a new-friendship present. She eventually gave up knowing that the pure-hearted boy wouldn't budge no matter what.

The clothes were soon stored in the closet and Lizy hobbled over to her bed. When she sat down she could feel the pain slightly ease in her leg. Apparently, being in that round-off with Bakura made enough adrenaline go through her to make her forget completely about her injury. This made her happy because that just meant less weakness shown, but also upset because now her leg hurt worse than before.

Lizy forced herself to lie down on the bed. It hurt to move it, but the pain lessened even more after putting it up. She sighed and relaxed. The softness of the bed started to take hold and her eyes began to droop. She was about to drift off when Ryou knocked at the door.

"Hu-huh? Oh..come in." She yawned out and tried to shake off the sleepiness.

Ryou poked his head through the door. "Hey Liz, sorry if I woke you. I just wanted to let you know I was going out to pick up some groceries. Do you want anything?"

Lizy gave some thought and was about to say no when she thought of something. "Yeah, some chocolate would be nice."

"Ok then, chocolate it is. I should be back in an hour or so. Don't push yourself while I'm gone. See you." He waved then shut the door. After that she could hear the front door shut and he was gone.

Collapsing again onto the bed she looked at the ceiling. 'Geez, just what have I gotten myself into? Here I am injured, still getting my bearings, armed with only my stubbornness and wits. And there he is in perfect shape, has the home-field advantage, and armed with the Millennium Ring; plus he's smart, clever, mysterious, powerful,…hot..sexy..' Lizy lost her concentration as her fangirl thoughts returned to her.

Between having to make sure she didn't bore him and protecting her pride, she hadn't had time to really admire him. But now she finally had a chance to let loose.

"Damn, he is so much more attractive up close!" she squealed. In her mind she replayed their encounters, but mostly when he had made a move. This time she let herself embrace the excitement that welled up inside her. She imagined what would have happened had she pounced instead of fighting. 'Yeah, you'd probably be in the Shadow Realm Liz.'

She scowled at the bitter thought. It didn't seem fair. He could prance around and go all smexy on her and she wasn't even allowed to show interest?

"Why must you be so smooth Bakura!" she yelled at the air. "Ugh..who am I kidding? I don't stand a chance. I'm nowhere near on his level. The whole time he's going to be the one attacking," she sighed, "and I'll be stuck in puny defense."

That was when she had a light-bulb moment. "But you know what? Defense is a pretty good place to be. As long as I'm strong enough I can withstand anything he throws at me, and I'll prove it to him!"

Lizy pushed herself again to get up. Her leg decided to give her a break as it was only a slight throb. She walked out to the hallway and looked around. 'I bet if I look around I can find something to use to my advantage.' She deduced and went to the kitchen.

A pang of guilt hit Lizy as she opened a drawer. 'I sure feel sorry for Ryou, being caught in the middle and all. Oh well, he's better off not knowing anyway.'

Something caught her eye as she was about to open another drawer. The picture. Limping over to it she inspected it once more. The glow that was surrounding the Ring was still there. She knew what it was of course. It was Bakura when he was first starting out with Ryou.

A question popped into Lizy's head. What happens when he takes it off now? Does he make him put it on again or does he just take a break?

She shrugged it off and continued with her search. The kitchen didn't seem too promising after checking a few more spots so she moved on to the next place: his bedroom.

Even though she knew no one was home, Lizy still was careful about opening the door. The coast was clear so she shuffled in and closed the door.

"That was easy. Honestly I thought it would be harder than-." Lizy's eyes shot open at the artifact on the bed. Her initial reaction was to high-tail it out of there but then curiosity sank in. What the bloody hell was the Millennium Ring doing on that bed?

'Ok…not sure what to do..at all.' She babbled in her head as she gingerly took a step forward. Wincing as though expecting a huge explosion she froze…nothing happened. At this point, suspicions started to rise.

'This can't be right. He would never be as stupid as to let Ryou take off the ring and leave it here with me…unless..' she stared at it, 'it's a trap.'

She couldn't help but admire just how clever this actually was. He knew that she would look around while he was gone. He knew that she would go into the bedroom. Therefore he left the ring on the bed knowing she wouldn't be able to resist it.

'But then again…what if that's not it at all? Maybe Ryou took it off so I wouldn't see it and freak out. Maybe Bakura couldn't control it. This could be a chance to get the upper hand!' Hope started to rise but she stopped it dead in its tracks. Right now she was faced with a difficult decision. Either take the risk and snatch it, or get out and be left with a dozen questions.

'Well, it's there for one reason or the other…and the answer could potentially give me valuable information.' She tried to think over it. The chances of her playing right into his hand were very high. This would be just the sort of thing he would do to prove his point. However, there was still that haunting what-if. No matter how she looked at it the answer wouldn't change.

"There's only one way to find out." Lizy fearlessly marched up to the Ring and grabbed it.

She waited…and waited. Nothing happened. The gold just shimmered in her hands. Upon examination it didn't do anything. The only thing that surprised her was how beautiful the Ring actually was. It was a lot lighter than she expected and it looked and felt unnatural. The artifact became mesmerizing.

'Wow…I never thought about how cool this thing actually looked.' She looked at it closer and tried to turn it over in her hands. 'What the-? Oh no…'

Lizy's hands were stuck to the Millennium Ring. She tried to pull them off harder but they wouldn't budge. Her struggles panicked rather quickly as the Ring began to omit a dark glow. "Get the hell off!"

A sharp scream pierced the air. Waves of pain caused Lizy to drop to her knees. Before her eyes she didn't see the bedroom but only shadows and chaos. All around black beasts attacked with no mercy. Her whole body felt like it was on fire. Excruciating pain suddenly throbbed relentlessly in her head. Lizy felt as though her head was about to explode when it all vanished.

In its place now was a strange room. It was made completely of stone. When Lizy opened her eyes she knew it wasn't over. Using the wall for support she was able to stand up and look around. Through the only doorway she started hearing footsteps. Then to no surprise emerged her favorite jerk.

"I must say Lizy, I expected better." Bakura scorned.

"What did you really think I'd do? Leave the dang thing there?" She glared at him and crossed her arms.

"I thought you'd at least be smarter about it."

"Come one Bakura, you know you would've done the same thing."

"Unlike you, I know a trap when I see one."

"Could've fooled me." She let out, knowing that this helpfully gave her an answer she needed. "Fact is with your stubbornness you'd still walk right into it just to show off."

Bakura stopped to consider this then grinned. "Maybe you're not as stupid as I thought."

"Sad I can't say the same for you." She sneered, trying to hide the fact that she felt so weak that she just wanted to crawl into a corner and collapse.

He raised an eyebrow. "Snappy are we? Don't forget where you stand." The floor around Lizy flickered causing a second of panic which just turned into more annoyance.

"You know what? As far as I'm concerned we are on equal ground bub."

Bakura let out a laugh. "Is that really what you think?" The ground disappeared around Lizy, leaving her only a few stones. "Strong words for someone with barely any ground to stand."

Horror struck her and she didn't dare to move an inch. 'Fucking bastard.'

"I heard that." He smirked in triumph over her reaction.

'Not even my thoughts are safe? Ugh, I want out!' Frustration rapidly boiled up inside her and she closed her eyes. Having to deal with his mouth after that hellish torture was becoming too much.

"What's wrong? Can't handle the pressure?" He taunted.

'Alright, stay calm. There is some way to get out of this; I just have to think of it.' She took a couple of deep breaths.

"Wow, are you actually that pathetic? I must've been wrong about you." He daunted, adding salt to the wound.

She opened her eyes and stared right at him, wishing that the situations were reversed. The image of him being cornered like she was became very vivid in her mind and a laugh dared to escape her mouth.

Something very strange then happened. Suddenly the floor around Bakura disappeared and reappeared around Lizy.

"What the bloody hell?!" he burst out.

Lizy was equally as surprised. 'What just happened? Wait…oh I am so good!' She laughed and stalked up to Bakura. "Oh, this is good, this is precious. How does it feel Bakura? Not as fun on the other side is it?"

He face showed pure confusion. "How in God's name are you doing this?"

Lizy walked up the edge of the missing stones. She concentrated on Bakura and smiled when she saw his body go completely rigid. "Wouldn't you like to know?" The ground around him materialized and she walked over to the now paralyzed Bakura. "I'm the one still holding the Millennium Ring." She looked him right in the eye and smirked. "Now who's the idiot?"

Bakura gave her the death look. He looked like he was trying to find the right comeback but stayed silent.

"Aw, what's wrong Baku, cat got your tongue?" She baby-talked.

He regained his composure and put on a poker-face. "Yes, I can't find the right words to describe your foolish mockery."

Lizy just smiled back at him. "You want foolish mockery do you? I'll give you foolish mockery." With the snap of her fingers Bakura's body moved to take the stance of a ballerina. Uncontrollable laughter burst out of her mouth and Bakura almost looked like he was blushing.

She snapped her fingers again and he did the Disco. Another snap and he did the Egyptian Dance. Next he did the Chicken Dance. Lastly he stood in a kitty pose, with his hands bent at his chest as paws and everything.

By the time she stopped snapping Lizy was about to collapse from laughter. She eventually wiped the tears from her eyes and caught her breath. "Oh my gosh, I will never be able to take you seriously again!"

Bakura looked extremely annoyed. "Are you finished yet?"

She patted his head and cooed, "Is the little kitty mad?"

He glared fiercely at her. "..Not a kitty." (A/N: Yes! Another YGOTAS reference! XD)

"Sure you're not." She twirled his hair around her finger. "Have you had enough yet?"

"If you're implying that I give up then no."

She frowned. "Oh well, you asked for it."

Bakura then flew backward against the wall. He stood there and watched as Lizy slowly walked up to him. She stopped when they were only a few inches apart. Poking him in the chest she drew her gaze to his face. "You know, all you have to do is ask me and I'll stop."

"Your effort is entertaining mortal, but my answer will not change."

She frowned again then grinned and closed the distance between them. Lazily she dragged a finger in a little circle around his chest. With her other hand she again twirled his hair. "There you go again with the mortal thing. Why do you even try? There really is no difference. We both have wants, needs.." she leaned in to his ear and whispered, "..desires."

A lost look filled Bakura's face but quickly disappeared. He closed his eyes and snickered. "You're treading into dangerous grounds Lizy. Once you open this door there is no going back."

"I'm not scared. I can handle you." She boasted.

"Trust me, I plan to see your limits for myself." He smirked. Lizy was thrown off guard by his comment and the next thing she knew Bakura disappeared and appeared in the middle of the room.

"You have managed to impress me again Lizy. I will admit you have managed to peak my interest even more." He grinned. "I do hope you know though after those stunts I will come back at you ten-fold."

"And I hope you know that after those stunts it's going to be really hard to find you intimidating again."

"Don't worry, I'll fix that in due time."

"I look forward to it." She smirked and she felt the world around her disappear.

Lizy opened her eyes. She was on Ryou's floor with the Millennium Ring around her neck. Taking it off she stood up and looked at it. "You needn't worry Bakura. I know that you're done taking it easy, and I am ready for the next match." She smiled, "I just hope you are." She threw the Millennium Ring back on the bed and left.

Poor Bakura, poor champ didn't see it coming! That'll teach him to mess with a fangirl from the sky! Haha, but in all seriousness hey guys! It took a week but I got it up. So anyway I hope you enjoyed it and that it was good. I say it again thanks for the support and comments I really do appreciate it and I love hearing what you have to say. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next (As I have said I am purely making this up as I go along) so it may take another little bit to get the next one up but it will happen! Well, I guess that's it so SHUT UP KITTY, wait wrong catchphrase, PEACE OUT!
