Chapter 21-The girl in my way -Indestno-

I stood in the dark room overlooking the city before us. No one knew who we were or what we were doing, good. Some of our people were very foolish and had to reveal themselves to the police. There was no way our plans would work if we had the police on our tails and they knew who we were.

We had taken out the foolish team rocket from the Johto region and they made a hasty retreat back to their original region of Kanto. Too bad soon that would be taken too. But that was getting to far from ourselves I had a big issue right now it was big enough that I did not need to worry about a obscure team like that. But on the news was that report of our lab attack and our ruins attack. My fist clenched up in anger as I remembered that one of my foolish employees went and blew it up. That was publicity that was not needed.

But what I found most interesting was what caused the ruins to blow. It wasn't just by my foolish employee but every time I heard something from our organization I saw a small frame of a girl everywhere I looked she was there. I wanted to know more about this girl and why she was always there when we were. I called on my experts.

"Sir we do not know exactly who this girl is but everyone who was there does not deny that it was her fault." Doctor Ravo stated as I drilled the scientist with questions. I was not satisfied because for some reason I recognized that girl. She looked strong, and strong people are a threat. No one can ruin my plans! No one! Which meant I must erase her from the picture.

"What do I do about her?" I asked.

"Well what do you suggest?" Ravo replied.

"Since we do not want our plans to be revealed to the public lets keep her alive but let's take her out of the picture." I doubted that would work and we'd have to permanently remove her from the picture.

"I have an idea. I need the mask of ice." By the look on Ravo's face I knew my choice was a good one. I ignored the fact that it was his team rocket I chased out of the region and that he and his army would have a grudge against our organization. But I knew he was a good bounty hunter.

I had Doctor Ravo call up the Mask of Ice and order him here immediately. It was strange that I had his number when he wanted no one to know of his existence. A few hours later I got the call that he was here to see what I wanted. Two of my followers came in with the bounty hunter they were too scared of the scoundrel they left him with me, alone.

"Indestno what do you want?" The raspy voice hissed through the mask. I made no change in emotion.

"I have a job for you." My expression was flat.

"And that is?" The voice hissed once more Darth Vader never compared to the scary noises this man made.

"I have a certain issue with a girl that is in my way. I'd thought you would enjoy a nice hunt and even a new member in your group."

The mask of ice was interested now. "Really who?" I showed him the clips of the girl as best as I could she was a tricky one alright. None of my followers knew who she was. The masked man looked at the screen and then at me. "Indestno huh? We both know that's not your real name so what is it?" I made no answer.

"Are you in or not?"

"Of course I am. Me and my children will bring back this girl in one piece." In the darkness a silhouette of several children popped up. The lights gently flickered on to reveal their hideous faces or masks you might say. I laughed, there was no way this girl would be able to escape now. The children of the mask of ice would not allow her.

"Are you ready my children? We finally will get to get a new friend." He laughed and his children followed. Their team rocket patches were faded out and torn and some of the mask were cracked and torn at some parts. They looked like they had been through so much during so long of a time.

"Carl you know what to do." The mask of ice said and the boy apparently named Carl nodded called out one of his pokemon; a Houndoom and he jumped out of my offices window. Crazy kid that was five stories high! I dashed to the window to see what happened to the boy and I saw that he made it to the ground in perfect condition.

"Now we have one more question for you Indestno. What about our pay." A smile grew from my face he was like any other bounty hunter. He was greedy. Perfect, greed drove many people to get what they want and this was one of those cases.

"I will pay you a big amount of cash by how you bring this girl to me unharmed. I will also not report to anyone who any of you are." I smiled as he frowned.

"Very well. I will do as you wish." The slide doors to my base pushed open and Doctor Ravo came in with a clipboard.

"Sir we've got the name of the girl."

"Really who is it?"

"It says here that she is a member of the international police." He read off his clipboard in frantic excitement.

"International police huh?" It appeared this girl was a secret police officer after us. "Who is she?"

"Her name is Leif Hatetedale and she has been assigned to thwart us or what they know about us." He stated my fist clenched in anger.

"She must be stopped soon or I am not the best admin in our organization." You thought I was the leader of this organization right? Well no our leader was very secretive and never appeared anywhere to anyone but we still knew about him.

The Mask of Ice spoke again "She will be stopped I promise you that. Leif Hatetedale will not have a chance to even think about thwarting you!" With that he and his children departed from my room. This time it wasn't by the window like that Carl kid.

I stood there in my office alone and I glared at the image that played in a continuous loop. I took a long look at this Leif dame her brown hair was covered in smoke. Her face was fearful as the ruins fell apart around her. She was good. The Unown with her looked equally sad. I had to say she must have had a strong Unown to want to use that in any battle. But I couldn't help but notice one pokemon at her side. She apparently didn't notice that he was there. I knew it was her pokemon though as it trusted her enough to stay at her side. It was a Totodile. But it was much more than that it was a shiny Totodile.
