The last time I saw Bella, she was throwing me out of her house.
Now…
She looks exactly the same… and yet she looks different.
"Hey, baby," Jasper says as he walks to Alice.
Bella looks up and smiles at Jasper.
Then she sees me.
She keeps her eyes on me for a few moments.
"I should get going," she says to Jasper.
She gathers her things and tells Alice she'll be by in the morning.
I hold my breath as she walks toward me, toward the door.
And then everything around me stops as she slows her steps.
"Hi, Angela."
"H-hi, Bella."
She gives me a small smile.
And then walks out.
