The Lightning Child

He was born into a world of peace and tranquility. One day, however, his life changed when a band of marauders killed his family, but left him alive. That will prove to be their biggest mistake, because in his eyes, they're already dead. Rated T just incase I decide to do some BlakexOC in the future.

5. Notice

*long depressed sigh* Alright, I'll face the light: I'm a lying, lazy jackass. I realized what my flaw was when I tried to begin writing this, and that was proper lack of planning or plotting. Go figure.

I said I would try to update week by week, and, well, I failed miserably. It's been 4 ½ months since my last chapter upload, which honestly makes me cringe. I am, however, not done writing. I'm currently doing a lot of plotting and scheming for this next story I'm fixing to write, and I must personally say, I think it's going to turn out better than Lightning Child ever could have been, for a few reasons:

I actually pre-planned this story (kind of, but hey, it's something :L)

I think I've actually came up with a name for the main character that fits into the RWBY universe, if that's what you want to call it. :P

I think the beginning and the way I'm pacing these first two chapters in the plotline I created works pretty well and leaves some people wanting more (I can't say everyone, because then I'm an arrogant jackass, and not just a regular jackass)

As for Lightning Child…. Meh. I don't know if I could go back to it, which is why I'm discontinuing it after a large amount of thought. If I am going back to it though, I'm rewriting the chapters I have written and rethinking the pacing and the way I portrayed Trent, while also laying out the plot for the next few chapters. Basically, in layman's terms, I'd have a lot of work to do (At least for me, it is. I can't say anything else about some of the good authors I've read :L).

But I guess that's all I can really say at the moment, so I bid all of you to have a wonderful time with your days, and wait for RTX for RWBY Volume 2 premiere. I most certainly am :D. (By the way, I'm writing this July 3rd, which is the day before RTX. It seems stupid to put that there, but hey, it's the thought that counts :P)
