A/N: Here is the next update for you all! There is a little bit more Sam/Nad interactions that happen this chapter, so hope you all enjoy!

Sam walked back into Bobby's house, after having a brief discussion with Castiel, he had already been able to gather where Dean was. Sam knew that he and Castiel needed to go out and get him, before Dean did something stupid, like saying 'yes' to Michael. That's why he and Castiel needed to move quickly, but, he wanted to make sure that he told Natalie what was going on, before just disappearing.

"Nad?" Sam called out, but, he received no response. "Nad?" Sam tried calling out again as he made his way into the kitchen.

The sound of slow, heavy footsteps from the staircase caught Sam's attention. Natalie came scuttling into the kitchen, looking like she had just woken, which in this case, was the truth. Sam looked at her and smiled faintly. "You, uh..."

"Yeah, I know." Natalie raised her hand at him, signaling for him to stop, then ran it through her messy hair. "I overslept. I was trying to call Dean last night...no answer of course."

Sam nodded, taking a few steps towards her. "Yeah, well I think I have an idea as to where he is."

Natalie looked up at him, her eyes blinking awake with alert at Sam's words. "Great. Where do you think he is?"

"Knowing Dean, if he really is hell bent on saying 'yes' to Michael, no doubt in my mind he's gonna do his own farewell tour. My guess...he is visiting Lisa." Sam explained.

Natalie's brows furrowed at the name. "Who is she?"

"Someone Dean, was close with, I guess you could say." Sam offered as the only explanation, which Natalie took without questioning.

Natalie ran a hand down her face, in an effort to wake herself up fully, since she could feel herself beginning to daze off. "You don't think, Dean would actually, you know...say 'yes'...would he?" Natalie finally asked, her tone had turned grim.

Sam slowly shook his head. "To be honest, Nad, I'm not sure. That's why I have to go get him."

Natalie folded her arms over her chest. "So, how is this all going to go down?"

"Cas, is going to take me over to where she lives, or at least the town she lives in, then I'll work my way from there. It shouldn't be to hard to find Dean."

Natalie walked over to the fridge and pulled out a water. "You want me to go with you?" She asked, turning around to face him.

Sam rubbed the back of his neck and shook his head. "No, Nad. I think maybe I should just go after him alone."

Natalie nodded understandingly. "Yeah. Alright." Natalie took another drink of from her water and set it down on the counter next to her.

Looking back up, Natalie found Sam's eyes fixed on her. Her brows furrowed briefly, before her eyes narrowed, only slightly, at his stare. Though it didn't make her feel uncomfortable or self-conscious. It was a look on Sam's face that she had never seen before. They were fixed in a soft gaze, filled with, perhaps, admiration and something else that Natalie couldn't exactly pin point.

Natalie's brows raised, seeing that Sam still hadn't broken his gaze and her lips slowly formed in a smile. "Sam?" Natalie leaned away from the counter, towards Sam until she was standing only a few inches away from him. "Sam?" Natalie called out again.

Sam jumped slightly, pulling himself out of his trance, not noticing she had gotten so close to him. "Sorry." He said quickly, breaking his gaze from her.

"Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah. Just, um...yeah."

Natalie huffed out a laugh at Sam's stumbling over what to say. "You sure? Because you kind of seemed a little...distracted."

"Yeah, well, I guess you could say that I am definitely...'distracted' about one thing." Sam finished, his eyes fixing on her once again.

Natalie eyed Sam curiously, the tone of his voice and the way he was looking at her, struck something in her. Not to mention, being that close with him, Natalie could just feel everything starting to stir up again. If anything, Natalie felt exactly how she felt during the whole fiasco with Famine and her 'craving', but she knew that this time, she was feeling this way purly on her own terms.

She briefly eyed him, up and down, before her gaze finally met his, locking down on each other. Despite the stirring urges she was feeling, Natalie could also feel a sense of calm wash over her. Even though she was beyond worried about what was going on with Dean, just being here with Sam, made her feel at ease.

The moment was soon interrupted when Castiel walked into the kitchen. "Sam."

Sam looked up at Castiel, giving him a look, a little annoyed that he just walked in. Natalie saw the look on his face and tried her best to hide her smile, then stepped away from him.

"I'm ready." Castiel added, though he could sense that he must have walked in on something. "Did I interrupt you two?"

Natalie gave Castiel a smile and shook her head. "Uh, no. Everything...everything is fine." Natalie cleared her throat, trying to rid of the awkwardness she was feeling. "But, you two...need to get going."

Sam sighed and walked over to Castiel, then looked back over at Natalie. "We'll be back."

"Sam. You find him...and bring his ass back here." Sam nodded before stepping forward as Castiel raised his hand and pressed two fingers against his forehead.

Natalie stood in silence once they had left and began to rub the back of her neck, feeling her smile returning. Bobby wheeled himself into the kitchen, catching a glimpse at Natalie beaming smile and his brows furrowed slightly. "What are you smiling about?"

Natalie looked up, snapping back to reality and shook her head. "It's nothing."

"Uh-huh." Bobby replied skeptically.

Natalie gave him a look and huffed out a laugh at the look on his face. "Really, Bobby. It's nothing."

"Yeah, okay. So, how are you going to pass the time?" Bobby asked.

Natalie sighed and turned around, walking into the living room and plopped down on the couch. "Just sit here. And wait."

Natalie sighed, tapping her fingers against her leg and leaned her head back against the couch. She pulled out her phone and checked the time, despite having already done it a couple of times for the past minute.

Bobby looked over at her from his desk and sighed. "You know, continuously looking at the time, ain't gonna make it go any faster."

Natalie's eyes averted over to Bobby, seeing the look on his face she let out a huff. "I just get to impatient."

"Yeah you do."

Natalie stared at Bobby, a little surprised. "You aren't supposed to agree with me."

"Well, what else am I supposed to say?"

"Nevermind." Natalie settled against the couch and closed her eyes, intent on keeping herself calm so time would go by faster.

"Well, isn't this just fantastic."

Natalie's eyes snapped open and she lifted her head, seeing Dean, Castiel and Sam standing in the middle of the room. Natalie leaned forward and stood up, her arms folding over chest. Dean looked over at her, seeing the look in her eyes, and his expression fell.

He looked at them, then raised his arms. "Why did you bring me here?"

"To make sure that you wouldn't go and do something stupid, Dean. Like for instance, saying yes to Michael." Natalie said.

"Why would you think I would do that?" Dean questioned, though Natalie could see right through it.

"Don't patronize me, Dean. Why else would you just take off, leaving me and Sam behind." Natalie glowered. "Bobby is still working on something."

"Oh, yeah, right. Trying to find a new alternative." Dean began, a little bit of sarcasm dripping from his tone. "Did you find anything?"

Upon receiving no response, Dean scoffed. "Yeah. This is really good. You know, eight months of turned pages and screwed pooches, but, tonight is when it happens."

"Well, you ain't helping." Bobby said.

"Perfect. Why don't you just let me get out of your hair, then?" Dean called out.

Bobby's eyes narrowed. "What the hell happened to you?"

"Reality. Nuclear's the only option we have right now. Michael can ice the devil, save a boatload of people."

"But not all of them." Bobby added. "We gotta think of something else."

"Yeah, well, that's easy for you to say. But if Lucifer burns this mother down, I could have done something about it, guess what? That's on me."

"Dean." Natalie stepped forward. "You can't just give in right now. Just give it a little more time."

"Time for what, Nad?" Dean asked, turning to look at her. "For this planet to get fried? I don't think so."

Natalie sighed, gazing over at Castiel, seeing him grasping his head in pain. "Cas? Are you okay?"

"No."

"What's going on?" Natalie asked.

"Something's happening."

"Wher—' Natalie was cut off once she saw Castiel vanish. "He really likes to do that, doesn't he?"

Opening the fridge, Natalie pulled out a beer and looked over seeing Sam and Dean walk in. "You guys want one?" Both of them shook their heads and Natalie closed the fridge.

"Help!"

Natalie, Sam and Dean turn around, spotting Castiel holding onto a body. They quickly rush into the living room as Castiel lays the body down on the couch.

"Who is it?" Bobby asked.

Sam walked over to the couch and studied the face a little longer, before sighing in recognition. "It's our brother."

Natalie stared at Sam in confusion. "Wait. Did you just say your brother? You two have a brother?"

"Wait, you mean your brother Adam?" Bobby interrupted.

Natalie looked over at Bobby then scoffed. "Guess, I'm the only one who doesn't know."

Sam turned to Natalie. "I'll explain it later." Natalie nodded in acceptance, though she really wanted an explanation now.

"Cas, what the hell is going on?" Dean asked.

"Angels and one thing is for sure. We need to hide him now." Castiel reaches down and puts his hand on Adam's chest when he suddenly wakes up.

"Where am I?" Adam breathed out, trying to sit up.

Sam was quick to hold him in place. "It's okay. You just need to relax, you're safe."

Adam looked over at Sam, giving him a look. "Who the hell are you?"

"Yeah, uh, you're going to find this a little crazy...but, we're actually your brothers." Dean replied.

"You're father was John Winchester, he was also ours. I'm Sam..."

"Yeah, and I am pretty sure that's Dean. I know who you are. They warned me about you."

Natalie looked at Adam. "Who did?"

Adam looked over at Natalie, a little surprised that he didn't see her there at first. "The Angels. Now where the hell is Zachariah?"

"How about you just tell us everything. Start from the beginning." Dean quickly offered.

"Well, I was dead and in Heaven. Except it-it kinda looked like my prom and I was making out with this girl, her name was Kristin McGee—'

Dean hummed and pulled up a chair, sitting next to Adam. "Yeah, that sounds like heaven. Did you get to third base?" Natalie rolled her eyes.

"Just, uh, keep going." Sam urged.

"Well, these angels, they popped out of nowhere and they tell me that I'm chosen."

"Chosen for what?" Natalie questioned.

"To save the world."

"Uh-huh." Dean casted Natalie a skeptical look. "And how exactly are you going to do that?"

"Oh, me and some archangel are going to kill the devil."

Natalie mind began to fill with a quick conclusion, already having the idea as to who he was talking about. "Which archangel?" She asked cautiously.

"Michael. I'm his, uh, sword or vessel or something. I don't know."

"Well, that's just insane." Dean said. Natalie looked over at Bobby, seeing he was just as confused as she was.

"Not necessarily." Everyone looked over at Castiel.

"How do you mean?" Dean asked.

"Maybe they're moving on from you, Dean. He is John Winchester's bloodline. Sam's brother. It's not perfect, but it's possible."

"But, that doesn't make sense. The Angels make one decision...they can't just, alter all of that." Natalie glanced over at Castiel when he didn't respond. "Can they?"

"They are most likely desperate. Maybe they wrongly assumed Dean would be brave enough to withstand them."

Dean turned around and glared at Castiel. "Okay, you know what? Blow me Cas."

Natalie's eyes hardened as she looked over at him. "Dean."

"But the angels...I mean all of that crap about destiny? Suddenly they have a plan B?"

"Okay!" Adam suddenly called out, causing everyone to go quiet. "You know this has been a really moving family reunion, but uh, I got a thing, so—'

"Whoah, no, no, sit down. Just listen, okay? Please."

"This is unbelievable." Adam murmured to himself.

"Now, Adam...the angels are lying to you, okay? They're full of crap." Sam said.

"Yeah, I don't think so. Because they're angels."

"They tell you they were gonna roast half the planet?" Sam asked.

Adam shrugged. "They said the fight might get pretty hairy, but it is the devil, right? So we got to stop him."

"Yeah, okay. But there's another way." Sam interjected.

"Great. What is it?"

"Yeah, were working on 'the power of love'." Dean interrupted sarcastically.

Natalie sighed and rolled her eyes. "Okay, that's enough. Listen, Adam, you're going to have to trust us."

"Why should I?" Adam said, looking over at her. "I don't even know who the hell you are."

"Fine." Natalie fumed, feeling herself already being filled with frustration. "You don't have to trust me, no big deal. But, these two, are your brothers and I get that you probably haven't known them your entire life. But, It would be really, really, wise if you listened to what they have to say. Alright?"

Dean brows raised in surprise, casting a glance over at Sam, seeing in his eyes that he was a little proud at Natalie taking a brief hold on the situation.

"Just give us some time, Adam. We're blood." Sam finally offered.

Adam nodded, mentally backing down, making sure not to cause Natalie to snap again. "Yeah, well, you got no reason to say that to me."

"You're still John's boy." Bobby said.

"No, John Winchester was some guy who took me to a baseball game once a year. I don't have a dad. So we may be blood, but we are not family. My mom was my family. And if I do my job, I get to see her again. So no offense, but she's the one I give a rat's ass about, not you two."

"Okay, fair enough. But if you have one good memory of dad, just one, then you'll give us a little more time. Please." Sam said, hoping that Adam would come to accept his reason.

Adam looked at every single person in the room, each of them expressing different attitudes that he could read from their eyes. "Okay. Fine." Adam finally relented.

Natalie looked over into the kitchen, seeing Sam and Adam talking at the table, and she sat down in the chair at Bobby's desk. "So, how long have they known about Adam?"

Bobby looked up from the book he was reading and peered over into the kitchen. "Now that I am not to sure about. But, my guess is not that long."

"Did you know about him?" Natalie asked, turning around in her chair to face Bobby.

"John mentioned him a couple of times. Never really talked about him though."

"Wonder why they never mentioned him." Natalie said, more to herself than to Bobby.

"Guess you'll have to ask them." Bobby answered back nonetheless.

Natalie turned around, looking back over in the kitchen and saw Sam get up from his seat. Looking over at her, Sam motioned for her to follow. Natalie quickly got up and followed Sam out onto the porch.

"So, what's the whole story on Adam?" Natalie finally asked.

"Well, we didn't even know about him, till about a year ago. He called our dad's cell, and when we went up to meet him, he claimed that he was our brother."

Natalie's brows raised. "Wow. Can't imagine what that must have been like for the two of you."

"Yeah, we were really surprised. But, he wasn't really our brother...like he wasn't actually Adam. Adam and his mother were killed by ghouls before we even got there. They wanted to get revenge for when my father killed one of theirs."

"Poor Adam." Natalie finally said, wishing she hadn't interjected herself in their conversation earlier, especially not knowing everything Adam had went through. "I mean being killed and then brought back, only to get sucked into this apocalyptic mess."

"Yeah...it's not fair."

"You're not actually going to let him do this..are you?" Natalie asked, looking over at him. "I mean you're not going to let him become Michael's little meat suit."

"I know I'm not...and I'm pretty sure that Dean won't let it happen either." Sam assured her. "For all I know, Dean would rather have himself be Michael's vessel, than Adam."

Natalie scoffed and shook her head. "Neither of them should. I mean all of this, it's..." Natalie's voice trailed off.

Sam looked over at her curiously. "What?"

"It's nothing." Natalie turned and leaned against the porch railing. "How are we going to make sure that Dean doesn't say yes to Michael?"

Sam sighed and mimicked her position. "Keep him in the...panic room."

Natalie let out a breath and pressed her tongue against the side of her cheek. "Now, that's a really...terrible irony right there."

Sam nodded, understanding where she was coming from. "I wish we didn't have to do this, but, its the only way we can make sure Michael can't get to him." Natalie hummed in response, causing Sam to gaze over at her. "Hey. So, you know it's all been about the apocalypse and you worrying about all of us. I'm curious. How's your Aunt and sister doing?" Sam asked, hoping to try and lighten the mood.

Natalie smiled. "They're okay. Mari found a guy."

Sam raised his brows and smiled. "Oh, really."

"Yeah. She kept it from me for the past few months. I found out while I was staying here after getting shot. You know she kept it from me because she thought that it would be bothering me if she told me. I've been away on hunts long enough for my own sister to think she could ever bother me." Natalie let out huff and shook her head. "Really makes me feel like crap."

"She understands though, Nad." Sam said.

"Yeah, but, I just wish I could just be her sister, you know. You know, when you and Dean got shot and Cas put me to 'sleep' so he could take me to Bobby's...I had this really...vivid dream."

Sam gave her a curious look. "What was it about?"

"I was at my home in Dennis. Which was strange because...I haven't thought about that place in a long time. But, everything was exactly how it was supposed to be. Anyways, my whole family was there. My mom, Drew, Mari...and my dad. It felt so real, Sam. I mean nothing about it would have hinted that it was all a dream...except for the fact I knew it wasn't real. And my dad." Natalie huffed out a laugh. "He was exactly how I remembered him. Rather than having the image of him...dead...sticking in my mind, seeing him alive, even though it wasn't real, it gave me back a better image of him. I mean he hugged me...spoke to me. God you know, I had almost forgotten what he sounded like."

Sam remained silent, listening intently, not really knowing what to say to her. In all the times, he and Natalie have had these 'talks', Sam always had something to say to her. Whether it was advice or even words of comfort, he always had something to respond with.

Natalie cleared her throat, trying to gather herself. "It's sad how much you can forget in a short span of time. I don't know why I'm telling you this, but, I needed to talk to someone. I'm tired of holding back everything. Considering everything that's going on right now, might as well relent."

Sam quickly wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close to him and resting his cheek on the top of her head. "It's alright, Nad." Sam's hold on her tightened, feeling her arms wrapping around him. "I'm here. And I'm not going anywhere."

So, I added a few more Natalie/Sam scenes in here. Now I have been trying to figure out how exactly I want their relationship to turn out by the end of the story. I don't know whether to have them admit their feelings or to have Sam jump without either of them knowing how they felt. I really want to know your opinions and I will make a decision. Until next time! Xx
