Chapter 17: Tower of the Great Chaos! The Enraged Loly and a Dangerous Espada!
"Shut up!" Loly shouted, kicking Chopper away and turned her attention back to Orihime. "And once I'm finished with you, I'll reach inside your corpses and take back what was stolen from ME!" Loly grabbed the top part of Orihime's sleeve and ripped it off, scratching Orihime's arm at the same time.
"Orihime!" Ichigo shouted as he jumped back. "Getsuga Tensho!" Ichigo fired a black energy wave at Ulquiorra, who blocked it with his sword. Luffy took the chance and start running past the espada. Ulquiorra, noticing the diversion, pointed his finger to the side where Luffy was and fired his cero, pushing Luffy back. Ichigo charged at the espada and clash swords with him again. "I said get out of the way!"
"If you want a new opponent, you have to kill me first." Ulquiorra said. "Finish me if you think you'll capable."
"SHUT UP AND MOVE!"
Loly grabbed Orihime's other sleeve and ripped off as well, forcing Orihime to her knees. Orihime looked over her shoulder and saw Loly slowly walked towards her.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Ichigo shouted.
"Orihime…" Chopper said weakly.
"Thunderbolt…" From out of nowhere a yellow ball was thrown into the dark cloud above Loly. "…Tempo!" Lighting fell from the cloud and electrocuting her. Loly screamed in pain as the lighting went coursed through her body. Orihime and Chopper looked at the direction of where the attack came from and saw the navigator of the Straw Hats Nami.
"Nami!" Chopper shouted happily.
Outside of the tower, on the Straw Hats' Side…
The Straw Hats found themselves surrounded by hollows. "Damn it!" Franky cursed. "We were close to that tower!"
"I guess we've got no other choice but to fight them if we want to get in that tower." Zoro said, grabbing the hilt of one of his swords. As the rest of the crew prepares to fight, a volley of arrows appeared and shot down every hollow in sight its path. The Straw Hats watch in widen eyes as the hollows disappear into ashes. They looked at the direction of where the arrows were fired and saw Uryu.
"Who's that?!" Usopp said surprised.
"So you're the pirate crew Kisuke was talking about." Uryu said.
"Who might you be?" Robin asked.
"My name is Uryu Ishida." Uryu said, pushing up his glasses. "I am a Quincy."
"A Quincy?" Brook repeated. "What's that?"
"I don't the time to explain." Uryu said, looking at the tower. "Right now, my main focus is getting inside that tower."
Back inside the tower, Melony looked at what happened to Loly with widen eyes as Loly fell to the ground. Orihime and Ichigo looked at Nami with widen eyes.
"Nami!" Luffy shouted, seeing his crew mate. "What happened to you?"
"What do you mean 'what happened to me'?!" Nami shouted. "You left me behind back that, you idiot!"
"You're the girl from before." Orihime said, remembering seeing Nami after Zoro saved Ichigo.
"Nami…" Chopper said weakly, looking at the navigator. Nami looked at Chopper and saw that he was badly injured.
"Chopper!" Nami said, running towards the little doctor. "What happened to you? Are you ok?" Ulquiorra looked at the navigator running to Chopper and sonidoed towards her.
"Nami, behind you!" Chopper warned. Nami looked behind her and saw the espada behind her, ready to strike. Her eyes widen as she saw her captain in his gear second state appeared in front of her grabbed the espada's arm, stopping the attack.
"Luffy!" Nami shouted in worry.
"Nami, take Chopper and Orihime and meet with the others!" Luffy ordered. "I'll take care of this guy."
Nami nodded and looked at Chopper. "Chopper, can you walk?" She asked and Chopper nodded. She ran to Orihime and extended her hand to her. "Come on, we got to go."
"But what about them?" Orihime asked looking at Ichigo and Luffy. Nami looked at Luffy and Ichigo fighting Ulquiorra and smiled.
"I don't know that much about your friend but don't worry about Luffy." Nami said, grabbing Orihime's hand and helped her up to her feet. "Trust me, no one has ever fought Luffy and left unscathed." Orihime nodded but was still unsure about leaving Ichigo behind. "Come on, let's go!" Before they could take a step, an explosion erupted near them. They looked at the direction of what caused the explosion and saw Loly, showing some of the effects of Nami's surprise attack.
"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Loly said, breathing heavily. "I wasn't finished with those two yet."
"Loly, you…" Menoly said.
"SHUT UP!" Loly hissed at Menoly. "You stay out of this, Menoly!" She turned back towards Orihime and Chopper. "I'm not stopping until I get back what's mine."
'She's crazy!' Nami thought, gripping her clima-tact tighter.
"But first…" Loly turned her attention to Nami. "I'm going to pay you back for electrocuting me."
Nami got in a fighting stance and lighting covered the top of her weapon. "Thunder Charge…" She charged towards the arrancar. "…Arm Swing!" Before Nami could hit her attack, the floor started to shake, causing all of the action to stop.
"What's that?" Ichigo asked. Then a hole was made on the floor and a huge figure appeared out of it with a smirk on his face.
Back outside of the tower, Rukia found herself surrounded by exequias. One of them tried to attack her and she cut him down. More exequias tried to do the same but made the same fate. After cutting the last one down, Rukia turned her attention back to Rudobon and starting to catch her breath.
"What's the matter?" Rudobon said. "Tell me again what you were saying before. Was it that all of my subordinates have fallen?" Rukia narrowed her eyes at Rudobon. "But that's alright. Pratt along as much as you like." Dark aura surrounds Rudobon's body and another set of thunderbolt appeared on the other of his back. Then more exequias appeared and surrounded Rukia. "Ha, ha, ha, you should see the look of your face." Rudobon then felt a presence and looked at the tower. "Something's happening with Master Ulquiorra. Could this be…"
Rukia looked at the tower as well. 'Another massive amount of spiritual pressure has appeared near Ichigo.' She thought. 'What could be happening this time?'
Back inside the tower, the huge figure continued to get out of the hole he made. Luffy's eyes narrowed in anger, seeing who the figure was and remembering what the figure did to Robin at Sabaody.
"Hey Ulquiorra, how's it going?" The figure said. It was Yammy. "I thought I would come and back you up. Need a hand?"
Ulquiorra looked at and said, "You can't be serious. I don't need any help, especially from you."
Ichigo narrowed his eyes at Yammy, remembering when the same that attacked Chad and Orihime back in Karakura Town. "What?" He said. "It's that guy again."
Nami looked at the huge espada and remembered what happened at Sabaody as well. "It's him." She said scared.
"Don't be such a stick in the mud." Yammy said to Ulquiorra. "Besides this soul reaper kid and his little pirate friend are a lot stronger than they use to be, am I right? Let me have a crack at them."
"You're looking well." Ulquiorra said. "It appeared that you've made a descent recovery. But I'll pass. There's nothing for you to do here, Yammy." Yammy looked at Ulquiorra confused. "Go back and get some bed rest or find some Soul Reaper Captains to play with."
"What are you talking about? You're not to going hog all of the fun to yourself, are you?"
Ulquiorra glared at his fellow espada member. "You know how you get once you've entered that state. You'll become too greedy. So the answer is no."
"Oh come up, lighten up Ulquiorra." Yammy said, taking a few step towards Ulquiorra.
"Yammy…" Menoly said, getting Yammy's attention. Yammy looked down and saw Loly and Menoly. "Look, don't mind us. We're not involved in any of this. We'll just get out of your hair ok." Menoly turned to Loly and said, "Come on, Loly. Let's go."
"You've got be joking!" Loly shouted. "After we've come this far…"
"Loly, we're in over our heads…" Then Yammy's hand smashed into Menoly, sending her crashing through the wall.
"Menoly!" Loly shouted, after seeing what happened to her friend. Nami, Chopper, and Orihime watched what just the arrancar in horror.
"Hey Ulquiorra, what gives?" Yammy asked Ulquiorra. "If you wanted to be alone, then what the hell are all of these people doing up here with you?"
"Why don't you ask them?" Ulquiorra replied, with his attention on his two opponents.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Yammy knelt down in front of Loly. "So what's the story with you two? Why would a couple of losers like you come slithering out of your hole?" Loly looked at Yammy in fear. "You're not welcome here. Here let me help you find your way." Yammy grabbed Loly and lift her up. "GET LOST!" Then he threw her to the ground like a ball. "Are you kidding me? Don't tell me you're done already." Loly was on the ground, wrenching in pain. "Pathetic. I didn't break a sweat. Hey Ulquiorra, these two are couple of duds! I'm going to come join you over there." Yammy stood up and started walking towards Ulquiorra.
Nami, Chopper, and Orihime looked at the beaten Loly scared. "He didn't notice us." Nami whispered. "That's good. Let's get out of here while we still can." Nami and Chopper start to move but Orihime was still motionless. Nami stopped and looked at Orihime. "Hey, aren't you coming?" Orihime got up and slowly walked towards Loly. "Hey, wait…" Nami and Chopper followed Orihime to the injured arrancar.
Loly struggled to get back up to her feet. "Yammy, you bastard." She said to herself. Then she looked behind and saw Orihime. "What are you looking at? I'm sure you're getting a kick out of this." Orihime looked at Loly with a sadden expression on her face. "I was just about to kill you and your friend. Now look at me. Go ahead, laugh it up."
Then an orange barrier appeared around Loly. Loly looked at Orihime and saw that she was healing her. "What are you doing?! Get away from me! I don't your pity!" Orihime didn't respond to her. "What's the matter with you? I mean are you out of your mind or what? I was an inch away from killing you, you little fool. Why are you…why are you trying to help me?" The barrier vanished and Loly was completely healed. "I don't understand. What the hell are you?" Her eyes widen when she saw Yammy's fist coming Orihime.
"Orihime!" Chopper said as he changed to his heavy point and took the attack. Chopper skidded on the ground and coughed up blood.
"Chopper!" Nami shouted, running to the doctor's aid. Then Yammy appeared in front of her, throwing his fist at her. Orihime ran in front of Nami and an orange shield in front both of them. The fist connected with the shield and broke it.
"Orihime!" Ichigo shouted, charged at Yammy.
"Chopper!" Luffy shouted, charged towards Yammy as well but Ulquiorra appeared in front of the two. He kicked in the face, sending back a few feet. Then he crossed blades with Ichigo and stopped him from moving.
"This is getting old." Ulquiorra said. "I've already told you that you have to deal with me first."
Yammy looked at Loly and said, "What? You're still alive. You're better off dead that to be wasting your time making friends with a human." Then Yammy looked at Orihime. "Whatever. I think I rather be playing with you. You seem like more fun." Nami quickly got in front of Orihime, tightly gripping her clima-tact.
Yammy smirked at Nami and said, "What good would that little toy do you? I guess you want to play first. Tell you what, I'll kill the both of you together."
"LEAVE THEM ALONE!" Ichigo shouted. Yammy opened his hand, reaching to grab Nami and Orihime. Then Loly appeared in front of Nami with a small dagger and cut Yammy's hand.
Yammy looked at the cut as the blood was dripping down. "What the hell? Now where could you possibly hide that dagger? Naughty little thing, aren't you?"
Loly looked at Orihime and Nami and saw the shocked looks on their faces. "You two got a problem?" she said. "I don't give a damn about you, ok. I just don't want to own you any favors."
Yammy looked at Loly and said, "I'm sorry. Did you want to backhand your ass again?!"
Loly looked at the espada enraged. "Shut the hell up, Yammy! Keep your filthy hand off my catch, you hear me!" Then purple aura surrounds her body. "Poison, Escolopendra!" Loly's body then started to change. Her mask grows to cover both of her cheeks and armor grew on her legs, arms, breasts, and neck. And she has four arms that are similar to a centipede. "I don't want to hear one word from you, you dumb prick! I didn't come all this way to let a complete idiot like you defeat me!" Loly swung one of her arm at Yammy. Yammy easily dodged it and the arm crashed into a pillar. Then a purple substance oozed out the pillar.
"All of you are dead!" Loly threatened. "You! Ulquiorra! Everyone! I'll cover you with so much poison, there be nothing left of you but a reduced a pile of scum!" She wrapped her centipede like arm around Yammy's waist and purple smoke started to come out of the arm. Then Yammy lowered his fist on Loly, destroying her armor and several bones in her body. Yammy grabbed the arrancar and picked her up.
Chopper slowly got back up to his feet. "Leave…her…alone…" he said to towards the espada. "You…hear…me…"
"Chopper…wait, you're injured!" Orihime shouted, trying to get Chopper to stop.
"Stay back." Loly said, causing Chopper to stop. She looked at Chopper and Orihime. "Nothing has changed. I still don't care about either one of you. I hate you two more than anything." She wrenched in pain as Yammy's grip got tighter.
"Man, for such a dainty little thing, you sure do have an awful big mouth." Yammy said as his grip continues to break more of Loly's bones.
"Damn it!" Loly cursed, and then she looked at Yammy. "Screw you! Did you think I gave a damn about what you say? You're pathetic, you know that."
"What did you call me?!" Yammy shouted angrily.
"You heard me…" A smirk appeared on Loly's face. "…you pathetic scumbag!"
Yammy put Loly through the wall and said, "Ha, ha, ha, what were you saying? I couldn't hear you." Loly was knocked out already, pretty much near death.
"Well, that's no fun. She already died on me. I knew this was going to be a waste of my time." With that, Yammy dropped the defeated Loly to the white sand outside the tower.
"No!" Orihime shouted, getting the espada's attention.
"Huh, you got something to say?" Yammy said, looking at Chopper, Orihime, and Nami. "Hey Ulquiorra, what's deal with these three? Can I kill them yet?"
"DON'T TOUCH THEM, BASTARD!" Luffy shouted, charging towards Yammy. Then Ulquiorra appeared in front of him.
"Too slow…" Ulquiorra said, kicking Luffy in a face and sending into a wall. Ichigo took the opportunity to attack but Ulquiorra stopped him with his sword again.
"GUYS, GET OUT OF HERE!" Luffy ordered, getting back up. "HURRY!"
Nami nodded, grabbed Chopper and Orihime's hand, and ran for the exit. But before they could escape Yammy used his sonido and appeared in front of them.
"Don't think I'll let you get that easily." Yammy said. Chopper, still in his human form, stood in front of Nami and Orihime to protect them from the espada.
"Chopper!" Nami and Orihime shouted.
"Hahaha, you want fight me too, you little bug. And you're the one we've wasted so much time to get you too. Fine then, you'll be the first to die."
As Yammy's fist was about to connect and finish the doctor off with one attack, a leg of someone came out of nowhere and kicked Yammy into a wall. Orihime and Ichigo's eyes widen they don't know that person but Nami and Luffy smirked since they know who uses kicks like that. The attacker landed on the ground and lit a cigarette. It was Sanji.
Yammy looked at his attacker and wiped the blood of his lip. "Who the hell are you?!"
Sanji blew a smoke and said with a smirk, "I'm the hunter."
