I'm really sorry for not updating. It's just that I went on vacation, had a lot of Chinese homework, and I made a girl cry by kicking her in the head. But now I have a little time, so I'll update today.

I just might add that this addition today will not be the best for obvious reasons such as my bad writing and my laziness. Also I'll try to go for a dramatic ending for no apparent reason whatsoever!

DISCLAIMER NOTE: I don't own Vocaloid or the song "Letter Song" by doriko.

Miku's POV

There is a little girl with long teal pigtails sitting on a little bed. She swings her legs calmly but her blue eyes show signs of fear and surprise. She looks around the dim room nervously as if there was a evil clown hidden in the darkness.

"Is this right? I mean she IS our daughter and everything..."

"It won't hurt besides, she was a stillborn and still doesn't talk. She's almost 5. I'd at least expect her to be able to say something."

"Okay, we'll take her to another appointment after her first day of school."

Suddenly what I guess is a door, opens and I see a lady standing outside, "Miku, come. You don't want to be late for your first day of school."

The girl stands up and walks toward the woman I assume is her mom. But then I see what she is wearing. It's the uniform IA pulled out. The one in the teal backpack...

"Luka will be taking you to school. Alright?"

The girl nods and picks up a small teal backpack, the exact same one in my garage. Thegirl girl about 4 feet tall comes in. She has long pink hair and blue eyes which makes her look a lot like IA, except her hair only goes to her waist. I also think her eyes are more aqua than IA's.

"Come on. We'll be late," the girl I guess is Luka says. She takes the teal haired girl's hand gently and both of them walk out the door.

Once outside the girl smiles and says, "I wonder what school is like."

"What an idiot. She does scream or cry. What a waste of our time."

A boy kicks something on the ground and then he and his group of comrades walk away muttering about what a waste. On the ground is the same girl again, except she has bruises all over her body and a bloody nose.

"Need help?" a little boy with blonde hair and gold eyes asks sweetly.

She nods and accepts his outstretched hand and then mutters a quiet word of thanks.

"Are you alright? That had to hurt, I'm really sorry I didn't do anything because they're really though and-" the boy begins to rant blushing slightly.

The girl interrupted him by a hug, "It's alright, I understand. I trust you as well."

"Who did this to you?! Tell me!"

The girl stares at her mom blankly.

"I'm doing this for your own good!" her mom then raises her hand to slap the girl.

"Mom! Stop it!" Luka comes out of nowhere and manages to stop her, "What do you think you're doing?"

"You stay out of this!" Her mom screams.

"I can't. She is my little sister," Luka replies bluntly.

"Argh!" The mom screams and runs out the room, "I can't take it! I have two daughters, one won't talk and the other talks back!"

"Who did this to you?" Luka asks.

"Some boys beat me up," the girl says silently, "It hurt a lot."

"I bet it did. Come, let's get you cleaned up."

"I'm sick of all this nonsense!" the girl's mom's voice bounces through the room, "You need to stop defending her, how else will she be able to grow up?"

The little girl burrowed down deeper into her covers. She was supposed to be asleep, but the argument happening downstairs was scary and loud.

"She will be able to," Luka's much calmer voice drifts in, "Just give her time and she'll start talking and acting normal."

"TIME?!" there is a pause before she continues talking, "We've given her 2 years already. Don't you suppose that's enough?"

"It would be if you weren't so blunt or abusive," Luka's voice was rising with a hint of anger to her voice, "That's the problem with you. You always have to be right no matter the costs. Even if it means hitting your child...OR BEATING THEM UP!"

"Why you..." there is silence, and then a loud SMACK sound.

"Don't you ever appreciate what you're parents do? Do you ever consider what we have to suffer?" their mom's voice got a creepy edge to it.

"You're just like dad in a way. Abusive, rude, and blunt," Luka says stubbornly.

"DIE YOU BITCH!" There is a bunch of smacking sounds and other stuff along with Luka's high-pitched scream for help.

After what seems like forever the noises stop. Then I hear Luka speak in a tired, weak voice, "She spoke to me...she told...me...that...she was...sad. All I wanted...was...for her to be...h-h...ha-ha...happy

Then there is a small gasping noise followed by a "Oh my god..."

Then there is a loud pounding on the door, "Open up! Police!"

"No...no...no...no...she's right. I am abusive..." the mom's shaky voice echoes, "I can't believe it..."

"If you don't open up in 5 seconds, we're going to break down the door!" Someone hollers, "5!"

"No..." the mom wails quietly, "It can't be..."

"4!"

"They're going to take her away..."

"3!"

"I can't...do...this..."

"2!"

"No..."

"1!"

Then there is a loud splintering sound and heavy footsteps as what I imagine to be at least a small army of people rushing through the same entrance at once. A high-pitched scream fills the air, but it isn't a sound of fear or anger. It was a sound of-

"Sadness...regret..." the girl says quietly. Even though I can't see her in the darkness, I can tell she is crying quietly.

Wake up Miku! Wake up! It's just a dream, right? I pinch myself multiple times and try to ignore the sounds of panic, surprise, and fear in the background. Wake up...before they see you.

"WAKE UP!" I scream at the empty wall, "Huh?"

I'm lying across the couch. I'm really sweaty and warm and the vial I was holding fell onto the floor. I then look at the time, 1in the morning.

I finally calm down enough to think of my dream. Even though it didn't really finish, I know the rest. The parents were sent to jail where they eventually died, the little teal haired girl was adopted, and there was a funeral for the girl named Luka. The girl was super sad and grew up with depression, but at the age of 6, she was tired of being sad. So she followed Luka's last wish and wrote a letter to herself 10 years later and told herself to stop being sad.

After some years, she forgot about her dark past and became friends with a girl that looked like Luka. And 10 years after she wrote that letter...

I begin to cry because its obvious now.

I was the girl...and that was my past.
