Our heroes are already on their way to Celadon City and they're taking the shortest route to that's a shocker. Suddenly the bush started rustling and shaking. Everyone turned and stared at it. "What's moving in there?" Green asked.
Ralph made his way to the bush and took out a Pokeball. He threw his Pokeball at the bush but it did not open. "Oops I thought it was a Pokémon." Ralph said embarrassed.
"Hey what's the big idea?" The bush shouted as a man appeared out of it scratching his head.
"Sorry sir we thought you were a Pokémon." Kenya explained.
"Well that's alright besides I shouldn't be snooping around bushes anyway am I right?" He said as he patted Kenya on the back.
"So who are you?" Green asked
"My name is Josh Williams, I am the Magikarp salesman." Josh explained as he brought out a cooler
"You sell Magikarps?" Ralph asked
"Indeed my friend and right here I have rare ones." He answered as he opened up his cooler. "These can jump over mountains."
"Wow cool so how much are they?" Kenya asked as he readied his pockets.
"500 Pokedollars please." He replied as he held out his hand. The three took out the money they had in their pockets and gave it to the man. "Thank You. It's been a pleasure doing business with you folks."
He ran off with joy leaving the three with what seemed to be a Magikarp wrapped in a blanket. "It looks so peaceful. It's not even making a peep." Kenya said confused
"Help!" A kid screamed as he ran down the street.
"What's the matter?" Green asked.
"A 'fisherman' said he'd sell me a Magikarp and when I looked at it well it was a fake." The kid explained. "Follow me and I'll show you what he's done."
They followed the kid as they arrived at a police station. There were a lot of kids who were also conned by this man. "Everyone please settle down. I will try to locate this conman if everyone will settle down." Officer Jenny explained
"Hello Officer Jenny but we can help you with this case for you can see we've been conned too." Kenya said reading her nametag.
"No I'm sorry this too dangerous for kids." She declined.
"Please we can really help."
"Well Ok I turn this over to you."
"Ok everyone Spearow will tell you if he found him." Kenya explained as he called forth Spearow from the Pokeball.
After a few minutes Spearow returned with information on his location. They followed Spearow back to where he was. The man was preparing to leave into his R Balloon. The man had a Team Rocket uniform on. "Stop rights there give us back the money you took from these kids." Green demanded
"I do not have to give in to your wishes. I am a member of Team Rocket the team that will not die." He said as he began to take off.
Fearow catapulted at the balloon and popped it so that the man could not escape. "Great jobs Fearow now take him away." Kenya commanded as Fearow took him by the shirt and threw him into the sky
The kid's money flew into the sky and floated down to them. Ralph smiled as he saw them pick up their money. He noticed something moving in a blue blanket that made a 'karp' 'karp' noise. He picked it up and what appeared was a living Magikarp.
"Wow Ralph you got your Magikarp." Kenya said congratulating his friend.
"Welcome to my team Magikarp." Ralph said as he put Magikarp in a Pokeball.
