Chapter 3-Game Night
Laura's POV
"Ok, you already met R5 so we can cross that off the list." Ross says and crosses it off the list. "So that leads us to number 2. Which is play some games with R5. Awesome! I know some awesome games!" Ross gets excited that he practically jumps out of his seat.
"We're back!" Rydel and the others enter the room.
"But Mom and Dad left to take care of some things but we could still stay." Riker says.
"Um... guys? Can I talk to you outside?" Ross gives them a look and they all go out. Meanwhile, I wait.
Ross's POV
"Guys, Laura is going to die in 11 months." I say and everyone gasps.
"WHAT!?" Riker shouts
"Shh! Dude, we're in a hospital. Anyways, the doctor said the test didn't work and she would die in 11 months."
"How do you know?" Rydel asks.
"He came in while you guys were at the food court."
"Whoa, i feel bad for her." Rocky frowns.
"I know, but she has this list of things she wants to do in her life. It's really hard so I want you guys to help me with it."
"Sure, we'll do anything."
I smile and we all go back in the room where Laura is sitting patiently.
"So what do you want to play?" I ask.
"Umm... how about a game of SORRY?" Laura suggests
"Sure" I get the game.
Laura's POV
We play the first game and then Riker wins. Then the second game Rydel wins. The third game was the last. I was going to win i just needed to knock Ross out so i could win. I carefully hit Ross's yellow player. My red player won!
"YES! Im the champion!" I fist pump the air.
"Aw man..." Ross pouts. I look at his puppy dog eyes. He looks so cute! We pick up the game. Then decide to play HeadBanz. I put the card on my band. Then look over to R5. Rydel was a sheep, Riker was a parrot, Rocky was a ladder, Ryland was a tomato, Ratliff was a pig, and Ross was a banana. I didn't know what i was of coarse.
"Am I an animal?" Rydel asks.
"Yup." I nod.
"Do I have 4 legs?" Rydel asks again.
"Yeah." Riker says.
"Am I a mammal?" Rydel keeps asking.
"Yes." Ratliff smiles.
"Am I a horse?" Rydel asks and we shake our heads.
"Um... what color do I have?"
"White I guess." Rocky says.
"Oh! Im a sheep!"
"Yeah!" Ryland grabs her card from her headband.
"My turn! Am I a parrot?" Riker asks.
"Uh? Yeah? How did you know?"
"Oh. Uh? I DIDN'T cheat of coarse. Why would you say that?"
"I didn't." I say and Rydel sighs.
"Rocky?" Rydel looks at him.
"Am I a ladder?" Rocky smiles innocently.
"Ryland?" Rydel sighs again.
"Ok, we cheated. But why did I have to be a tomato!?" Ryland spills.
"Well good thing I didn't cheat." Ratliff grins.
"You're a pig." Rocky says and Ratliff gasps.
"No Im not!" Ratliff yells.
"No, we mean the game." Riker says.
"Oh... No fair! I wanted to play a fair game!" Ratliff pouts.
"Sorry." Riker says.
"That's the last game we played." Ratliff says and I face palm myself.
"No I meant the real sorry." Riker corrects.
"Ohhhhh!" Ratliff is not good at this.
"Get your facts right, dude." Ryland says.
"Anyways, Ross it's your turn." I said.
"Ok, am I a animal?" Ross says.
"No."
"Am I an object?"
"Duh!"
"What color am I?"
"Yellow."
"Can you eat me?"
"Eww, no. But yes you can be eaten."
"Hey! I would taste great! Like a banana."
"YES!"
"Ok, your turn, Laura."
"Um... am I a animal?"
"I guess."
"Am I a mammal?"
"Yes."
"Do I have 4 legs?"
"Yeah."
"What color am I?"
"White."
"Am I a horse?"
"Not really. You're close though."
"Am I magical?"
"Maybe."
"Im a unicorn aren't I?"
"No, you're a person."
"Really Ross?"
"If you don't believe me then go ask someone else."
I shake my head and take the card off my head. "Im sleepy." I say and they nod and pick up the game. Minuets later they all leave except for Ross. I get on my bed and under the covers. I close my eyes and Ross turns off the lights. I suddenly feel a pair of lips on my forehead. Oh my god! Ross Lynch just kissed my forehead! Im never washing it again! Haha! Just kidding.
"Sweet dream, Laura." I hear Ross's sweet and soft voice say.
I smile but don't open my eyes and I hear the door close. I then fall into a deep wonderful sleep...
