Hey guys I was really bored and decided to get this up when I could because I, as I have said have nothing to do at this present moment in time so even though this is supposed to be 'Fathers Day' it's going to be Alexandra visiting torchwood, It's a filler and pretty short so here s the next chapter I don t own 'Doctor Who?' or 'Torchwood.' enjoy...

Last time...

"What's your curse?" he questions quietly, I pause and continue to walk not looking back as a single tear leaks down my cheek,

"Knowing too much." I say and enter my room, closing the door I drink my tea and look at the book, I shook my head,

'To tired.' I clean my face and teeth getting into bed.

I cough a few times into my hand and felt something moist cover my hand, looking down it's covered in blood...

It had been a nice few days...

Sure there was a lot of running involved but when isn't there with the doctor right? Anyway I hadn't told the doctor about the coughing incident, it hasn't happened since then so I put it down to the electrocution, in total we had been to three different periods of time and two planets, we went to 1482, Italy, it was a beautiful Place even if the women there were treated like dirt. Apparently the Pope knew the doctor and hated him, hence the running there, he still won't tell us what he did. After that was 1854, I don t remember much of that one seeing as I was knocked unconscious and had to wait for the doctor and Rose to get me out of this nut jobs house,and the last time we visited was 5465 it was relaxing not much running unless we had to count getting back to the TARDIS because it was nearly dark...

We went to the planet Amazonia and chose to do a set adventure, that didn't work well either because it had been closed down and was a treasure hunters planet, so at gun point, I had complained to the doctor about that, anyway we were forced to disable traps and puzzles before reaching the golden skull of the former king of a planet made of gems and stuff, I picked up a nice anklet there also sapphire but I was always one to match my jewellery, that had only been a brief visit so we went to the planet Hollywood, and somehow the doctor managed to get engaged to Marilyn Monroe or at least her double, that was a nightmare and a half for Rose and I, well mostly me, Rose had waltzed up to them dragging me along and started talking about how he shouldn't leave his girlfriend behind and when Monroe had asked who his girlfriend was Rose pointed at me with the sweet smile I had taught her. To say she had hell later was an understatement...

Walking into the console room I heard Rose talking, leaning on the console and the doctor sitting in the jump seat,

"That's what mum always says. So, I was thinking... could we? Could we go and see my dad when he was still alive?" I stop in my tracks, great time to visit Jack,

"Where's this come from, all of a sudden?" the doctor asked curiously,

"All right then, if we can't, if it goes against the laws of times or something, then never mind, we'll just leave it." Rose said looking down at her hands, I sigh,

"No, I can do anything. I'm just more worried about you." he answers, and I can t help but think that s sweet, but the burning in my gut tells me to hate it...

"I wanna see him." Rose pleads,

"Your wish is my command. But be careful what you wish for." he says as he begins to move around the console, I speak up quickly,

"Do you think you could drop me off somewhere first, I have someone to meet." he turns and looks at me surprised

"Okay where do you want to go?" he asks,

"Cardiff, November 15th sometime at night maybe around 8 o'clock if you could manage that I would be ecstatic." I inform, he raises his eyebrow,

"Who are you meeting, I thought you would want to meet you uncle." he queries, I tilt my head hearing the slightly uneasy edge in his voice.

"An old friend I promised to drop by on that date and I don t want to be late, or suspicious." I answer, his shoulders relax and he set the coordinates and after a few minutes there was a slight jolt, I hug Rose and nod to the doctor putting on the denim jacket and calling "Bye." before stepping out hearing them shout it as well, I turn and watch it disappear before making my way to the secret entrance, walking in I see Ianto standing behind the desk.

"Hi." I say catching his attention, his head snaps up and he looks at me,

"Andy!" he exclaims rushing from behind the desk to hug me, it felt a little awkward because technically I hadn't met him yet...

"Uh, hi Ianto. Not to be well mean but this is the first time I've met you..." he pulls back and looks me in the eye before grabbing my hand and pulling me to the secret entrance, and opening it.

"Everyone Andy dropped by." Ianto called and everyone called 'Andy' as that seemed to be their nickname for me. Well except Jack who just looked at me.

"Yeah should probably get this out before any of you hug me but I haven't met any of you yet. I do know who you are though." I was a little nervous, but then Jack came forward and pulled me into a hug.

"Hey princess." I hugged him back

"Hey Jackie..."

We had all sat down and were talking, I got to know everyone pretty well and then Jack decided to lay into me,

"Ah yeah, princess... I have a bone to pick with you." I gulp knowing what was coming next.

"Really... And what's that?" I ask my voice going up an octave, betraying that I knew what he wanted to talk about.

"You know damn well what," he growled "You trapped yourself in a room with a Dalek. Do you realise that if I had never met you then I would never have become what I am, I would have killed everyone in... and Gamestation would have never happened."

"That is where you're wrong Jack, one Rose would have stopped you, two you would still travel with them so you would have gotten to Gamestation and three even if I wasn't there if I was because that hasn't happened for me yet, you would still have become who you are because you are a fixed point in time. You had to happen, I'm only a spare part, to make sure everything does happen the way it needs to." I lecture he looks at me shakes his head and then gets his fire back,

"But still a Dalek of all things, are you crazy why on earth would you do that?" he shouts standing up,

"If I didn't it would have been Rose." I say quietly,

"You shouldn't have risked your life for anyone, your important whether you know it or not, something important happens at game station and it's not my 'Fixed point.' you should have left Rose to deal with it she would have done it." now I stand up.

"I couldn't leave Rose because she wasn't the one that touched the Dalek, if I had left her down there with the Dalek I had touched then it would have killed her so don t you dare tell me that I should have left my cousin down there with that thing for her to die, for her to be the one to order its death in the end then you clearly don t know me as well as I thought!" I shout shaking in rage as tears fell down my face. I was a mess and emotional wreck and to top it all off I started to cough my guts up... I sigh as I finish coughing and check my hand to see more blood coating my hand. This sent Owen into med-mode.

"Come on Andy time to get a scan." he said going to touch my arm, I jerk away from him,

"I can walk..." I said quietly, so he led the way me following and the rest behind me wanting to know what was happening.

I honestly hadn't expected the news, but then again neither had anyone else Gwen was in tears and Tosh wasn't far behind, Owen hadn't said a word since he had read the results and Jack had promptly punched a wall, several times, Ianto had gone to get some tea. I chuckle at that, 'It's so like him...'

Everyone had looked at me when I had chuckled,

"You know I find it funny that even though I don't know you, your all pretty beat up by this, and it's so like Ianto to get tea... Cure all in Britain, well Cardiff right." I say chuckling more, Jack stepped in front of me and went to slap my face stopping mere inches from my cheek, "What s the matter Jackie, can't do it? I don't know why you re so beat up your passed Gamestation so you know I make it." I say with a shrug, Owen then burst into action,

"We can fix it, I mean we got all this stuff in here we should be able to do something, give you something to stop it, right?" he started to move around and I sigh getting up and walking over to him, he went to grab something and I stop him by grabbing his hand,

"There's nothing you or anyone can do to stop this and you know it, my body is shutting down Harper, no way around it." I say and then he breaks letting the tears fall, I pull him to me and whisper soothing things to him as I motion for Tosh to come over and pass Owen over to her and they cry together. "Now." I say putting on a bright smile. "Show me to you weapons room." I demand, they all look at me like I had grown another head,

"Why do you want to go there princess?" Jack asked uneasy, I roll my eyes

"I'm not gonna top myself Jack, I want to see what weapons you have so I can steal the ones I like." I say with a grin,

"Uh I don t think-" he was cut off by an alarm.

"Does that mean there s a weevile?" I ask, he nods "Well then show me the weapons and let me live a little before I have to die, right?" I ask and see them all flinch at the word die.

"I don t think you-" I cut him off

"Jackie, you say I m not going but if you know me well enough you know I will anyway, right?"

"But-"

"No now am I going with you or am I following you?" I ask with a raised eyebrow he sighs and makes a follow me motion so I do as he asked with a little caution knowing Jack could be underhanded if he wanted to stop me, so when we got to the weapons room I look through and grab a stun gun, holster that and take an ear piece and put it on. I take off my jacket hang it up and then take off my long sleeve shirt, revealing my blue tank top and sai (Link on profile.) strapped to my arms, so now I'm dressed in leather trousers a blue tank top and knee length black boots, when I walked into the control room the doctor had basically stopped breathing and his reaction after was so funny.

"Princess, damn you look good." I turn and smirk bowing slightly,

"Shall we, dear brother?" I motion to the door and he grins offering his arm, taking it we head back to the hub and we set off in the car I felt something pressing into my mind.

...

"There's my girls." I see a man 'uncle Pete' my younger self says,

"Daddy!" Rosie says as she jumps into his arms and he laughs,

"Come on Alex we're going home now." he says, the younger me looks down and I feel sorrow,

"Coming uncle Pete." she said running to catch up, but doesn't take his hand as he's too busy with Rose.

...

I shake my head, she's saved him...

When we arrive I hop out and stand next to Jack

"Want a little bet Jackie?" I ask, he looks at me with a grin.

"First to find it gets 10 quid from the loser?" he asked, I nod my head and we shake hands,

"May the best one win." we say I head left, Jack right, and after a few minutes I hear a shuffle and something hissing. I turn sharply to find nothing there, I grab the gun and set it to stun before continuing on my way down the corridor another scrap behind me and I turn a little more on edge as the adrenaline kicks in. I scan the dark but find nothing as I turn and continue, it was playing with me and I hated and loved it, the apprehension was exhilarating,

"Hey princess anything on your end?" Jack asks through the ear piece,

"Nothing yet, you?" I ask and turn quickly, there was another growling sound.

"No all I got was messed up rooms." I could hear the pout in his voice and laugh tensely

"Don't be disappointed Jackie, it's only an tenner, nothing big for your bank account I'm sure." I turn and walk around the corner a few steps in I hear a creek on the floor boards and spin quickly, nothing there, turning around I come face to face with one of the ugliest bastards and jump back, "Shit, Jack you owe me a tenner!" I call down the ear piece and the thing jumps at me, I duck down and roll under its feet, but it turns and snaps it's teeth at my arm just barely missing,

"God you re a real piece of work." I say swinging at it with my fist before snapping it back and kicking it, the Weevile bounces back and tackles me to the floor, snarling all the way, "SHIT!" I yell as my back it the floor winding me, he snaps his teeth in my face and I push him back glancing to the side seeing my gun on the other side of the corridor, "Fuck it I mutter and push back quickly grabbing one of the Dragon blades and slashing at it. The thing hisses and lunges again as I get near the gun pushing the blade aside I grab the gun and it head-butts me, groaning I pull the gun to its side and stun the thing pushing it off I grab my blade put it back and call to Jack.

"Hey asshole, you got the Weevile clamps?" I ask, I hear him chuckle,

"On my way princess keep him down till I get there got it?" just as he said this it went to get back up, so I stunned it again,

"Got it just get your ass here. Before I set the gun to kill." placing a hand to my head I feel the blood running down the side and groan again, "Thanks a bunch." I mutter sarcastically before kicking it in the side, two or three more shocks later Jack turns up and clamps it giving me my money.

Patched up and drinking tea was what happened when I got back I informed Jack that I wanted to keep the stun gun and he had agreed easily. Everyone seemed to have calmed down since the news of my impending death, it bothered me sure but who was I going to tell? My death was going to come slowly and I wouldn't feel a thing best thing really, I'd hate to die in pain, it would suck so much, and not telling anyone made it easier because I wouldn't have someone fussing over me.

...

"Come on Alex you said I could borrow your homework." Rose whined, the younger me rolled her eyes

"Want some cheese to go with the whine Rosie?" I asked sarcastically. Uncle Pete walks in...

"Alex let Rose have your homework for a while, what harms it going to do?" he said, younger me turned to him

"But if she doesn't do her own work then she won t get the grades to graduate and that s what you want right?" Rose throws a glare my way as Pete gives in.

...

Another memory, it still wasn't fixed, I sigh and shake my head, maybe it was time to head back to them, and I couldn't wallow in self-pity for my death no I had to move on and get on with my life. Getting up I walk over to Jack.

"Listen Jackie I gotta go, do you mind if I borrow a vortex manipulator?" he looks at me surprised,

"Uh why do you need one?" he asked looking up from his desk.

"Traveling with the doctor means he goes back in time ad I need to get to him. Rose messed up the past and I need to fix it." I explain, he doesn't relax, I sigh, "Come on Jack with one of these I can make multiple trips here without the doctor knowing so I don't have to hide it from him so he gets suspicious, I will come back it wont be the last you see of me, not for a while yet. Also I will need a list of the past times I have turned up and what I have done so I can make sure I keep everything in order and stop the paradoxes from forming because those are a headache and a half to worry about. But that can wait until I next turn up and ask for it." I say with a smile and he seems reluctant as he opens the draw,

"You gave this to me to give to younger you, well now you I suppose and told me to not argue, so I have to give it to you, even if I didn't want to." he says pulling out the manipulator and handing it over. I take it from him and he chucks something at me,

"So I can chew you out when I need to." he said to me with a wink, looking down at it I see a top of the range Samsung (Use your imagination i dont keep up with phones to much hassle.), I give him a hug jumping on him as he chuckled and squeezed before we walk to the main room.

"Hey guys I'll see you soon, I got mistakes to fix in the past." I say, they all give me a hug and I save Jack for last holding on for a lot longer than necessary before pulling away and putting in the coordinates.

November 7th 1987 st Pauls church... and then I hit the button, and I was in pain

Rose is talking to her dad,

"Yeah!" he said answering if he wanted to know how she was there.

"A time machine." she said Pete stunned pauses for a minute

"Time machine." he breathes

"Cross my heart." Rose says smiling,

"What, do they all have time machines where you come from?" Pete asked, also smiling

"Nah, just the Doctor." Rose said her smile turning into a full blown grin, and then there was a flash of blue light

"God that bloody hurts." a voice groaned Rose looked down on the floor to see Alex on her ass.

Alexandra s P.O.V

"God that bloody hurts." I groan as I land on my ass, sighing I stand and my spine pops. "Fuck." I open my eyes and see Rose looking at me her mouth hanging open and the supposed to be dead uncle Pete. "You really have messed things up this time Rosie." I say with a sigh.

"Alex?" she asked, I nod my head

"Yeah don t look so surprised, yes, you dropped me off in Cardiff but a friend of mine gave me this, don t tell the Doctor he'll break it." I plead.

"Alex as in my niece Alexandra." I turn to him, the memories coming to the surface, I put on a forced smile, Rose and I wouldn't have been close if he hadn't died and I know that s a terrible thought but we couldn't change the past.

"Hello uncle Pete." I say with a wave and turn back to Rose, "Where's the Doctor?" she points in the other direction and I nod, turning and as I go to leave he touches me. I pull away and turn to face him "Yes?" I ask calmly,

"What no hug." he asked, I shook my head

"Sorry I don t like to get attached." I say

"Well let me look at you then." he said,

"You are looking at me." I state, he looks hurt and looks me over, stopping at my arms,

"You carry weapons with you?" he asked,

"Yes. Now I need to go find the doctor and figure out a way to get rid of the reapers so if you'll excuse me." I say turning around and walking away. I see him looking out the window and walk over.

"Hey there stranger." he turns to look at me his eyes going wide

"'Lexa', how'd you get in?" he asked surprised by my appearance,

"A friend of mine dropped me here." I answer "Now we need to get rid of the reapers." I say, he looks at me again

"You knew this was going to happen?" I nod my head,

"Didn't think it would mess up mine and Rose's relationship though and I know how this ends but she's not going to like it... Still can't change the past, because if she did then the memories that are appearing in my head are going to be true." I say with a shrug and then he notices my head,

"What happened in Cardiff." he questioned leaning in to get a better look, I shrug,

"Nothing much just an earth based alien." he raised an eyebrow.

"What does your friend do?" he continued,

"You'll find out in a few years I think it's three but I can t be exact." I answer again. then he glances down.

"Why are you carrying weapons?"

"Protection." I shot back,

"Where did you get them?"

"Well the ones on my arms are from home, the stun gun is from my friend." I chirp with a smile.

"Where do you hide them?" I snort at his question

"Yes I will tell you where I hide my weapons so you can take them and toss them into a black hole," I fire sarcastically with a grin it was fun to mess with him. "Besides these cost a lot of money..." I take one out "And you didn't complain about the daggers in the museum. What s different now?" I ask balancing the sai on my hand before he took it and balanced the blade on his finger.

"Well made." he said, I nod

"The handle is the same weight as the blade so that it enables good handling, for someone skilled and make fighting easier, got me out of more than one tight spot." I say taking it back and placing it on my arm once more,

The Doctor is talking to baby Rose in her carry-tot. I thought she was cute, but I always wondered if she was a loud baby because of her personality, turns out she was quiet, and cute, looking at her now all I can think is 'what happened?'

"Now, Rose... you're not gonna bring about the end of the world, are you?" The doctor asked and I giggled before clamping my hand over my mouth, I don't giggle I chuckle or snort why am I giggling? "Are you?" He continues sternly, ignoring my outburst and for that I was grateful, baby Rose stares innocently up at us. Then now Rose showed up.

"What's wrong with you?" she asked looking at me, I tilt my head,

"What?" I question,

"You show up out of the blue and then you're ignoring my dad like the plague, what's with 'I don t like to get attached.' when you know full well that because I saved his life he can be there for us again!" she snarls, my eyes harden as I look at her stonily

"I don't like to get attached because we both know full well he's meant to be dead and because you decided to be selfish while I was having a perfectly good time with my friends I got new memories of when he would be alive, you turned into such a spoiled brat, and I was left alone because you were always the centre of attention like you've always wanted to be, and if that s how you turn out if he's alive I may as well go back to being in my own world where I don't have to be on constant watch for every stupid little thing you do." I spat at her, she flinched back "It feels wrong to me I don t like the feeling I get around him, I liked it when we were close." just after there was a small echo of 'That s what we do. We put things right.' "You dont think I want to go back and save my parents. I would give anything for them to be alive but I know the reprecussions of that decision." I take a few calming breaths and turn back to baby Rose.

"Jackie gave her to me to look after. How times change." The doctor said with a grin, defusing the situation slightly,

"I'd better be careful. I think I just imprinted myself on Mickey like a mother chicken." she says trying to be cheerful but failing, she reaches out to the baby. I grab her wrist and hold it away from the baby out of instinct but know what would happen because I knew.

"No. Don't touch the baby." The doctor deadpans. The Reapers outside distract Rose for a moment, as they screech particularly loudly. "You're both the same person and that's a paradox, and we don't want a paradox happening. Not with these things outside. Anything new - any disturbance in time makes them stronger. The paradox might let them in." The doctor continued to explain, I shake my head

"I couldn't handle more of a headache at the moment." I sigh rubbing my temples and leaning against the wall.

"Can't do anything right, can I?" Rose asked dejectedly,

"Since you ask, no." he said, I slap his arm

"She's had it in the neck from me what good is it going to do from you?" I snap and turn to Rose "Don't - touch - the - baby."

"I'm - not - stupid." she said with narrowed eyes, I roll mine, and here comes the temper tantrum.

"You could've fooled me." The doctor stated, Rose looks away, stung. I hit him, there wasn't any need for that. The Doctor repents slightly. "All right. I'm sorry." Rose looks back at him. "I wasn't really gonna leave you on your own." he said softly,

"I know." Rose responds her voice dropping its venom,

"But between you and me, I haven't got a plan. No idea." I snort as he admits this,

"You never have a plan." he casts me a look and I sigh motioning like a zip across my lips. Rose looks at him intently.

"No way out." he continues,

"You'll think of something. " my cousin reassures quietly.

"The entire Earth is being sterilised. This, and other place like it, are all that's left of the human race. We might hold out for a while, but nothing can stop those creatures." he continues as if he hadn't heard looking out of the window at the shadows of the reapers, "They'll get through in the end. The walls aren't that old. And there's nothing I can do to stop them. There used to be laws stopping this kind of thing from happening - my people would have stopped this. But they're all gone. And now I'm going the same way." I look at them, I could be complicated I passed from one dimension to another, I had aloud of void stuff all over me.

"If I'd realised..." she trails off as he looks at her. She meets his eyes.

"Just... tell me you're sorry." I roll my eyes and push away from the wall, it was exactly the same, he was going to be in love with Rose and then he would meet River eventually and I would just be in the side-lines. Sitting on one of the pews I wait.

"It's the TARDIS key! " I hear the doctor shout. I look up, things were moving along. "It's telling me it's still connected to the TARDIS!" and slowly I feel the tiredness catch up to me, the nightmares that wake me in the middle of the night the discovery of my impending death, it's too much and my eyes drift shut and this time I don t dream it's just dark...

I come back to the world, I m not sure how long it has been since my eyes had closed but I felt just as tired, and I wonder, is this what will happen over time, will I just become weaker until I can t function and drop off?

"-are me and her indoors still together?" I hear a voice and am reminded of something from the doctor's future...

...

"Is River Song your wife? Because she's someone from your future, and the way she talks to you, I've never seen anyone do that. She's kind of like, you know, heel, boy. She's Mrs Doctor from the future, isn't she? Is she going to be your wife one day?" Amelia Pond asked, and I can t help but feel sad, I wouldn't meet her, I would be long gone, and then bitterness takes over at her question, 'Wife...' I can be in love with him all I like and it won t change the future...
"Yes, you're right. I am definitely Mister Grumpy Face today." The doctor responds and I chuckle, I wouldn't meat eleven either, he would have been fun to know, the most childish boy but the oldest man... A voice calls from somewhere and I turn in the direction

"Doctor! Doctor?" River shouted, and I smile before it drops, I wouldn't meet River the first time, she would die and I wouldn't be there, not like I wanted to be, we could have been great friends even if I knew who she was to the doctor...
"Oops. Her indoors."

...

"Am I a good dad?" A voice knocked me back into the present and I realise it was Rose and Pete talking I look over and feel pity for him. I know Rose cannot find it in her heart to tell him the truth.

"You... you told me a bedtime story every night when I was small. You were always there... you never missed one." She said making up what she wished had happened. She smiles at him, giving every appearance of reminiscing on happier times. "And um... you took us for picnics in the country every Saturday. You never let us down. You were there for us all the time." Pete listens intently. "Someone I could really rely on." They are both silent for a few moments.

"What about Alex." I flinch,

"She, loved you and you would tuck her into bed, she'd cry sometimes and when mum wasn't there to tell her that aunt Carol and uncle John where safe and happy, you'd sit with her and tell her stories of when you and uncle John would pull pranks on gran." her voice shakes slightly and I look over,

"That's not me." Pete exhales with a shake of his head. Rose stops smiling. She looks to the front of the church myself following her gaze, the TARDIS finally started to materialise, the key in her lock. The Doctor puts his jacket back on, grinning and I can t help the smile that graces my face at his excitement. He runs back up the steps to the pulpit to address the guests as I stand up and move to his side.

"Right, no-one touches that key. Have you got that? Don't touch it. Anyone touches that key, it'll be - well - ZAP. Just leave it be and everything will be fine. We'll get out of here. All of us. Stuart - Sarah - you're gonna get married, just like I said." he spoke with glee that reminded me of eleven, then again, I suppose he had a bit of all his regenerations, past and future in him. He grins encouragingly at them as I reach his side and grab his hand. I knew the car would be going on a loop until it hit uncle Pete, I look at him and see him with Rose, and felt guilt, I was taking her dad away from her, even if it was the right thing to do.

I walked over to them,

"Uh Rose could I talk to him for a bit?" I ask, she looks at me gets up and leaves with a nod.

"Alex." he says, I glance down

"Look I m not good with people, so when I saw you I just didn't know how to act, I do what any other human would do, I lashed out, I don t want to be attached but I won t put mine and Roses relationship on the line because I don t know how to interact, so I guess what I m saying is, I'm sorry." I say rushed I don t look up and I don t want to, then his arms are around me and he's hugging me, hesitantly I put my arms around him for a minute before pulling back and clearing my throat, "Listen I, uh, I got to go talk with the doctor about these things so I have to go." I say putting distance between us and he nods. Walking away I sit down on the other side of the doctor and wonder if he knew...

The TARDIS is materialising slowly but surely and for that I was glad, I wanted to leave as soon as possible. Everyone is sitting waiting for it to appear fully.

"When time gets sorted out..." Rose said looking at the doctor, I pull my arms around myself at the chill that went down my spine and the bad feeling in my gut that got worse the longer we were here.

"Everybody here forgets what happened. And don't worry - the thing that you changed will stay changed." he reassured and I flinch,

"You mean I'll still be alive." Pete said from behind us and I don t turn around at all Rose does though. "Though I'm meant to be dead." he continued, Rose just looks at him without speaking. Pete nods. "That's why I haven't done anything with my life. Why I didn't MEAN anything, and Alex's reaction when she appeared said it all."

"It doesn't work like that." The doctor contradicted and I felt the stab to my heart, I shouldn't have been so cold to him.

"Rubbish. I'm so useless I couldn't even die properly. Now it's my fault all of this has happened." He said, his head shaking and I finally turn and face him, there were tears in his eyes and fear showing clear. Rose reaches and puts her hand on his arm,

"This is MY fault." she corrected solemnly

"No, love. I'm your dad. It's my job for it to be my fault." I let out a chuckle at what he had said though it sounded bitter, Jackie appeared next to us and went off,

"Her dad? How are you her dad? How old were you, twelve?" The Doctor rolls his eyes and distances himself. "Oh, that's DISGUSTING." she continues

"Jacks - listen. This is Rose." he said standing up, and the emotions on her face are clear anger and upset,

"Rose? How sick is that? You give my daughter a second hand name? How many are there? Do you call them ALL Rose?" she said her voice low, I stood up sharply,

"Enough aunt Jackie." I fume quietly, she looks at me then,

"Who the hell are you?" I don t answer just glare at her,

"Oh, for God's sake, look! It's the SAME Rose! And that's Alexandra." he explains, He takes baby Rose from Jackie's arms and places her into Rose's. The Doctor starts, but too late.

"Rose! No!" he shouts and I knew what was going to happen, I grab the stun gun from its holster but know it wont be any use. He pulls baby Rose from Rose's arms. A Reaper appears in the middle of the church. The guests scream and leap to their feet. "Everyone! Behind me!" he orders, I stand directly behind him as everyone gathers behind. The Reaper chirps menacingly and spreads its wings. The Doctor addresses the Reaper. "I'm the oldest thing in here." and then I shove him out of the way,

"But not the most complicated." I whisper as it bears down on me,

"Alexandra!" was the last thing I heard, the terrified voices of the doctor and Rose mixing together, and then I was gone, eaten.

3rd person.

They watched, horrified, as the Reaper consumes Alexandra. The other guests scream. The Reaper swoops around the church and then collides with the semi-transparent TARDIS - and disappears, TARDIS and all. The key falls to the floor, no longer glowing. There is silence for a few seconds, then Rose runs down the aisle and picks up the key. She sounds numb with shock.

"Cold. It's cold." Pete approaches her cautiously from behind, all the while looking nervously around the church. The doctor hadn't said anything nor moved from the spot on the floor where Lexa had pushed him, all he could think was,

'Not her.'

"Oh, my God, she's dead." Rose whispered tears gathering in her eyes, Pete reaches out to her, but she shakes him off. "It's all my fault... all of you... both of you..." she continued. Her voice begins to crack as the impact of what has happened hits her. Pete takes her into his arms. "... the whole world..." The light in the church dims as though a cloud has passed over the sun. Jackie holds baby Rose closer to her, and the guests look around, scared.

"This is it. There's nothing we can do. It's the end." Bev had stated terrified, the doctor had gotten up stalked to Rose grabbed the key and walked away to sit at the back of the church. There was a scraping sound from outside, the reapers trying to break in.

Pete looks out of the window in the side room with the view of the car that is stuck in a loop. As he watches this happen twice with his brow furrowed, it seems as though a revelation comes to him. He breathes heavily, shaking slightly. Scared of what he's going to do.

Rose is sitting on her own in the dark church. She is silent and grief stricken. Pete approaches her, carrying his jacket.

The doctor in his seat looking at the key,

"She shoulda stayed with 'er friend..." he whispered brokenly to himself.

"Alex really cared about you... Even gave me a chance." Pete said to Rose, Rose looks up at him. "She didn't want your relationship to be ruined because of what she couldn't except, me, and she said she was sorry before walking back to you two, I think she planned for this all along." he continued,

"What're you talking about?" She asked standing up, he put his jacket on as he spoke,

"The car that should've killed me, love. It's here. The Doctor worked it out way back, so did Alex, she said when she got here, 'You really messed things up.' But they, er - they tried to protect me." Rose just looks at him, eyes filling with tears. "Still - he's not in charge anymore. I am." he babbled,

"But you can't..." Rose denied, her voice cracking from her emotions, Pete reaches out and strokes Rose's face.

"Who am I, love?" he asked,

"My Daddy." She whispered brokenly with a slight smile. Jackie approaches them. She looks at Rose, eyes wide.

"Jackie... look at her. She's ours." Pete insisted, Jackie looks at Rose, the truth dawning upon her. Rose looks back, tearful.

"Oh, God..." She gasps realising its true. Jackie throws her arms around Rose, eyes shut tightly. When she lets go, she looks at Pete.

"I'm meant to be dead, Jackie. You're gonna get rid of me at last." he said with a tense laugh.

"Don't say that." Jackie whispered holding back tears at the thought.

"For once in your life, trust me. It's got be done. You've got to survive, because you've got to bring up our daughter." he encouraged gently, He gestures to Rose, then pulls Jackie in for a last kiss. He turns to Rose. "I never read you those bedtime stories. I never took you on those picnics. I was never there for you. Or Alex."

"You would've been." Rose cried heartbroken that she couldn't keep her dad alive.

"But I can do this for you. I can be a proper dad to you now." he told her quietly,

"But it's not fair."

"I've had all these extra hours. No-one else in the world has ever had that. And on top of that... I get to see you." he contradicted with a sad smile, as he takes her face in his hand "And you're beautiful." Rose sobs silently. "How lucky am I, eh? So, come on... do as your dad says." he said his voice shaking slightly. Slowly, tears still flowing, and without looking at him, Rose hands him the vase. "Are you going to be there for me, love?" he asked Rose nodded. Pete puts a hand on her shoulder and looks into her eyes. "Thanks for saving me." he told her earnestly and the despair in her eyes only increased. He pulls his wife and his daughter into a tight embrace. Rose screws up her eyes.

The Reapers are still clamouring outside the church when Pete runs out of the doors, holding the vase. He stops just outside the gate and looks up at one of the Reapers - it begins to bear down upon him. He turns to see the car appear from thin air around the corner and runs straight out in front of it, screwing up his eyes before the impact.

"Goodbye, love..." he said as he was hit, the driver throws a hand over his eyes as the car knocks Pete over. The vase drops and breaks. The creatures vanish.

Alexandra's P.O.V

It came back in a rush I was behind Rose and the doctor as I saw uncle Pete in the middle of the road, taking a dead breath I walk over to Rose and grab her hand, her head snaps to me and she sobs,

"Come on, before it's too late." I say pulling her over to him, she crouched down on his left and I on his right, another family member dying before me, it seemed to happen no matter what universe I was in. I hold onto his hand and give a squeeze as I nod to rose and he looks at her, uncle Pete died looking into the eyes of his only daughter.

...

A memory comes before my eyes Rose and I in front of Aunt Jackie.

"The driver was just a kid." she said, I watched from the side-lines looking at the little family.

"He stopped, he waited for the police. It wasn't his fault. For some reason, Pete just ran out. People say there were these girls, and they sat with Pete while he was dying. They held his hands. Then they were gone. Never found out who they were. I smile slightly but feel the tears leaking down my face.

...

I was back on the road with uncle Pete and Rose as she kissed his forehead and I have him a hug. The doctor holds his hand out to Rose but she got up on her own, I was still with Uncle Pete tears leaking down my face from both his death and the memory, I look at him and take his hand as he hauled me up and pulled me into a hug, I pull back and hear the TARDIS materialise across the road. The Doctor, Rose and i walk away, into the TARDIS and we were gone.

I was in the medical room, there was a nagging feeling that something was being hidden from me, so on instinct I looked all over the room finding a few medical report, from the past and then I found what I was looking for my evidence, and I storm to the console room, Rose had long since gone to her room to cry for her lose.

He was standing at the console, hearing my footsteps he turned around and smiled,

"Lexa-" I cut him off with a sharp slap, "What the bloody hell was that for!" he exclaimed holding his cheek and looking at me, I drop the folder on the console, he looked at it, and then promptly went pale.

"You knew." I spat, "You knew about it and didn't feel the need to tell me?!" I shouted, he looked like I had punched him in the gut, "You didn't tell me that I would be dying." venom dripped from my voice,

"How do you know?" he asked his voice numb,

"It doesn't matter how I KNOW! YOU KEPT IT FROM ME! I HAD A RIGHT TO KNOW!" I shouted, "HOW COULD YOU, I TRUSTED YOU!"

"When did you find out Lexa?" he whispered,

"TODAY" I screamed, tears of anger trailing my face, "I CHECKED THE DATE, YOU KNEW FROM THE MOMENT WE STARTED TRAVELING TOGETHER, BUT NEVER TOLD ME!"

"HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO TELL YOU, IT WOULD HAVE RIPPED YOU APART!" he shouted back,

"AT LEAST I WOULDN'T HAVE FELT BETRAYED BY SOMEONE I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST!" I snapped, "I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THIS BAD IF YOU HAD JUST TOLD M-" I cut off coughing like I had in the hub, and turned my back to him...

"'Lexa'? 'Lexa',what s wrong?" he asked, pull my hand down whipping my mouth before turning around the fire gone from my eyes, replaced by a dead look,

"Nothing." I state, I go to walk away but he caught my arm, pulling it to him and seeing the blood. He looked at me and i saw pain in his eyes, but I couldn't muster the emotion to care, I pull my arm back, and step away from him,

"How long has this been happening?" he whispered his voice breaking slightly,

"Three times now since we left Adam." I spat turning and leaving him to wallow in the guilt he felt, going to my room getting changed and slipping into bed tears running down my eyes again, I pull the book into my lap.

'3. How They Know.

Shadow Hunters have a built in radar which will alert them to when something is wrong.
It would affect different Shadow Hunters in different ways, from a glow from an important item, or whispers in their head about something being wrong and on occasion they would feel it bodily. When they know that something is wrong they seek it out and try to correct the timelines, either by neutralizing the threat saving a life or ending one. Their radars are effective and when everything is right with the timeline they feel normal again...

Continuing to read I ignore the similarities to how that had happened to me today, I couldn't be surely they couldn t turn human the book said nothing about it, I was human, so was the Alexandra before me. After a while I close the book feeling to unnerved, I go over to my bookcase and pull a random book going back to bed I look down and smile at the irony,

"Afterword s by Amelia Williams." I whisper to myself opening the book...

Okay so what do you think? Yeah I know not as long as they usually are but oh well, and I don t watch Torchwood so sorry for any mistakes, I did last minute research, I would have had her more injured but I couldn't find what would happen if a Weevile bit someone, so I can t do much about it, I know it was brief but even though I hate the episode I decided for her to go back and help with fixing the mistake.
