"What did you need to talk about Lexa?"
"It's about me dyiing." they flinch, a friend ran some test's whilst i was in Cardiff, just after you left Doctor." he's told me that at most I've... I've got a week
left, but judging by the reaction after the phone call he got... I've got a short amount of time, I'm talking two or three days..." i say and their faces turn paper white.

It was blurry, I couldn't see much and I can't remember much either, I had a few of the important questions running though my brain, first being who am I? So I went through my mind trying to think,
Lexa? No someone else calls me that, it's a nickname,
Lex? no that's another nickname.
Alex... Alexandra? yeah Alexandra... Flame, no there was something before Flame, Mary... Maryanne.
Alexandra Maryanne Flame, yeah that's deffiantly it. The next question is where am I?
"Come on sweetheart, you need to get up and get ready. The show's gonna start soon." a voice said, I opened my eyes again not even aware that I had closed them in them first place. Wait, Show? SHOW! Doctor Who? That's a show, and I was in it, I wasn't supposed to be but I was, Uh I was on game station, which means this is Bad wolf... Rose, The Doctor, Jack... they were all with me, Rose and The Doctor were worried, I was... Dying, Jack can't know that... God time gives you a headache. Show, What show was I on?
"What show?"
"Strictly Come Dancing." I groan and look at the man above me. "I'm your partner Daniel, now I need to know, can you Dance?" he asked, looking at him he had brown spiky hair, blue eyes and tan skin. He was okay looking, Can i dance? wait, Ballet, I did ballet.
"yeah, What dance are we doing?" I sit up slowly rubbing my eyes,
"Tango." I let out a sigh, I could do that,
"Can you dance it?" he nods, "Good."
"We best get you into costume and make up." he pulled me to my feet and lead me off to a different room with a platform, I hesitantly stepped on and a light
brightened. And then the light turns off.
I stood in a black dress, with my hair tousled and slightly curled. (On profile page.) I looked amazing, but I still knew I probably wouldn't make it out of this.
Stepping off the platform I walked over to Daniel.
"Let's get this over with." I sigh, he offers his arm and I take it.
"Everyone to places filming is about to start." A man called. And so things started.

"Everyone please welcome to they stage, Alexandra and Daniel, Dancing the Tango." Daniel and I walked onto the stage smiling like we wanted to be there, I was more worried about the Doctor and Rose than what would happen on the dance floor. Dam stood in the middle of the floor and I made my way behind him, running my hand over his chest as the music starts, he grabs my hand and I slide it out from under around his back and step to the left, he pulled me back to his chest and lent back his hand slightly lower than my hip, he grabbed my arm and I span to face him my hand at the base of his neck and then the dance begun.

I was out of breath by the time it came to an end, but I was still smiling, we bowed and waited for the judges compliments and criticism. Bruno went first,
"Alexandra, Daniel, that was a brilliant tango, you could feel the passion of it in the air." I smile even though I was thinking, 'androids can't feel.'
"Thank you." we say,
"Alexandra, What exactly do you do?" He asked,
"I travel mostly but I help out where I can." I answer,
"I see, and have you had any previous dance experience?"
"Yes I did Ballet as a child." I inform, the smile was starting to make my cheeks ache, and I just felt tired,
"Well you were rather fortunate then, that you could dance I mean."
"Very, I guess it's a good thing."
"There was a part in you dance were you seemed to falter though." He pointed out, I nod my head, "When you span over Daniel's shoulder." he explained,
"Yes I know I faltered there, it's my first time dancing with a new partner and I had a little trust issue, I didn't want to be dropped, I'm sure it would have hurt." I grin as I say this nudging Dan, he smiles. The other judges gave their opinions on our performance and then we went to break. I pulled Dan towards the exit door.
"What are you doing?" he hissed. I continue to pull,
"Do you really want to take the chance that we die?" I snarl, he stayed quiet, "Yeah that's what I thought." I mutter, and just as we reached the door it opened.
"Oh god am I happy to see you." I whisper as I pull the man into a hug. He crushes me to him,
"I'm glad to see you to Princess." after that he let go, and then I saw him look over my shoulder, "Captain Jack Harkness." he said flirtatiously, I groan,
"Now Jack? You want to flirt now?" I shrugged, I looked over at Dan and he looked dazed, "Daniel, this is my brother Jack, Jack, this is my dance partner Daniel" I introduce, "Now we really need to find the Doctor and Rose, fast." I walk out the door dragging Dan and Jack by the wrist,
"You dance?" he asked, I nod,
"Yeah I took ballet as a kid."
"Wait wait wait, like THE Alexandra Flame, Ballet star and 15?" I nod again,
"Yes Jack now find the floor that has the weakest link on it, that's where Rose is, and the doctor will be with Rose." I order, he looked at his wrist. I look around and then I freeze, there above the elevator doors in block silver letters was,
BAD WOLF - LONE WOLF CORPERATION
Lone Wolf, like Rose is Bad Wolf,

"Miss Alex! The things you've both seen... the darkness... the big bad wolf, and the Lone wolf-"
just above the picture I had been drawing were two words, 'Lone Wolf'...
"I had considered blaidd unigol." Blon had said
"What do they mean?" Rose asked her tone curious,
"Bad Wolf. Lone Wolf." the doctor answers.

Lone Wolf, was following me.
"The doctor is on floor 56." Jack calls, I nod walking over to the elevator and wait for it to open, stepping in I press the button for floor 56 and lean against a
wall and close my eyes, I was so tired.
"Princess? You coming?" I snap out of it and jolt forward,
"Yeah just lost in thought." I reply and walk out grabbing his hand, any contact with him was okay, I wasn't going to spend much more with him, not after this.
"Hey, handsome! Good to see ya! Any sign of Rose?" Jack calls over to the Doctor, I look over and see Lynda and then look back and Dan, maybe... I shake my head I cant save them...
"Can't you track her down?" he asked? well more demanded,
"Hello Sweetie so nice to see you as well." I say sarcastically, he looks over and he pales again at the site of me before walking over and pulling me into a bone crushing hug.
"You're alright, god I'm so glad." he sighs, I couldn't help what slipped passed my lips
"But not for much longer." his grip tightens, I step out of his grip,
"She must still be inside the games. All the rooms are shielded." Jack said after looking at the manipulator, the doctor went back to fiddling with a computer and I stepped back to jack hoping on his back and leaning my head on his shoulder,
"I'm tired." I whisper,
"If we can just get inside this computer... she's GOT to be here somewhere." The doctor reasons, his face contorted into grim determination,
"Well, you'd better hurry up. These games don't have a happy ending." Jack informs,
"You think I don't know that?" The doctor snaps, and then something hit's him by the look on his face, he looks at me, "What game were you in?"
"Strictly come dancing." He looked at my dress and nods. Jack hands over his vortex manipulator.
"There you go." The doctor snatches it and I can't find it in me to reprimand him, both to tired and to worried about Rose, "Patch that in. It's programmed to find her." Jack informs,
"Thanks." The doctor sighs, Jack then turns to Lynda and shakes her hand,
"Hey there!" I groan,
"Hello!" she responds shyly,
"Captain Jack Harkness."
"Lynda Moss." she introduces,
"Nice to meet you, Lynda Moss!" Jack again, this time I slap the back of jacks head,
"D'you mind flirting outside?" the doctor says not looking up,
"I was just saying hello!" Jackie retorts indignantly,
"For you, that's flirting." he dead pans,
"I'm not complaining." Lynda says to jack, I snort,
"You wouldn't but let me introduce my dance partner Daniel." I say motioning to the man standing a little ways away awkwardly, jumping off Jacks back I head over to him, "Hey Dan." he looks at me and gives a shaky smile,
"Hello Alex." Rose... I instantly think, I shake my head,
"You alright?" he nods and looks back out the window,
"I've never seen it from this angle." he says more to himself than me,
"It used to be a lot brighter than this." I comment offhandedly,
"Really?" he asked interested, I nod
"The ozone was blue you could basically see it glow, the land was greener to."
"Sounds nice. But how do you know?" I grin at him,
"I've been on there before all this happened, quite a few hundred years ago, i was here when this was satellite five." his eyes widened,
"But that makes you over 100." he says disbelieving, I nod,
"It's only been a few months for me but all the same." I say with a shrug.
"It's not compatible. This stupid system doesn't make sense." The doctor shouts frustrated, I sigh and look back at Dan apologetically,
"Sorry I'll be back in a minute." he nods and I stroll over to the Doctor as he chucks the device to Lynda, I put my hand on his shoulder, and his shoulders relax slightly, "She'll be fine, a little shaken but fine all the same." With the help of Jack he pried the front of the computer away and snatched the vortex manipulator from Lynda and begins to try patching it in.
"This place should be a basic broadcaster. The systems are twice as complicated. It's more than just television... this station's transmitting something else." The Doctor had gone onto one of his nervous rambles and I couldn't help but remember his and Rose's reaction to when I had told them...

I explain, Rose hadn't said anything, looking over I see she had tears running down her face, reaction kicked in, I pulled her into a hug and rocked her slightly as she gripped me for dear life,
"You can't. What about mum and Mickey. What about me." he voice cracks on 'Me'
"I don't have much of a choice Rosie, I'm saying my goodbyes to everyone already, the boys in Cardiff were in tears as well, next stop is Aunt Jack's, God that's not gonna be fun, can you imagine all the shouting? Talk about an earache." She let out a strangled laugh and so did the doctor, I look over and he looked broken. pulling back from Rose I head over to him and hug him as well...

"I don't know. This whole Bad Wolf, Lone Wolf thing's tied up with me. Someone's manipulating my entire life. It's some sort of trap and Rose and Lexa are stuck inside it." The Doctor says working frantically. 'Why can't I figure out what floor she's on why don't I remember something that important?' I think to myself, suddenly the manipulator beeps.
"Found her! Floor 407!" the doctor shouts and Lynda let out a horrified gasp,
"Oh, my God! She's with the Anne Droid! You've gotta get her out of there!" She insists, frantic voice. I shudder, I couldn't do anything, Rose had to go to them, because the doctor needed to meet the emperor...
"Come on then." we ran to the lift and entered.

We were all in the lift, the Doctor impatiently watching the numbers racing up.
"Come on... come on...!" He mutter's
"That doesn't help!" I snap, I was so tired, I could sleep for a week, it's not like this usually. Jack took my hand and rubbed his thumb over the back to sooth me, I gripped his hand as tight as I could. We didn't talk we just watched as the counter rose rapidly, she wasn't going to die, I know she doesn't... I didn't know if I was actually telling myself, or trying to convince myself that it was true. It came to a stop and we all belted out of the lift as fast as we could.
We had to get there the doctor, as much as I hate to say it had to see Rose go, it was the only way he would be determined enough to hunt down the Daleks. It was going to kill me to see here disappear but I would endure it, she would be coming back. I could hear the Anne Droid as she spoke the words,
"Rodrick, in physics, who discovered the Fifteen-Dash-Ten Barric Fields?" I slow down out of breath,
"Game Room Six, which one is it?!" The doctor exclaims as he searches,
"Over here!" Lynda shouts,
"San... Hazeldine." I could hear her answer, but no one else could...
"No..." The doctor pulled out his sonic, everything was slowing down, in slow motion...
"... the correct answer is San Chen." I flinch,
"GET IT OPEN!" I scream,
"Stand back, let me blast it open." Jack commanded,
"Can't, it's made of Hydra Combination." The doctor exclaims, I cringe, I didn't want her to go. He presses his sonic screwdriver to the touch-sensitive pad. All I could think was,
'He's not going fast enough.'
"Please." I whisper... My throat constricted I clear it quickly.
"Come on, come on, come on..." The doctor chants as he presses the sonic, I shook my head, he wasn't going to make it... The door opens and I hear Rose's voice, 'NO!' I bolt forward and I don't stop I had to get to Rose, 'Please'
"Rose!" The doctor and I scream
"Rose, you leave this life with nothing-" The droid continues as though we hadn't opened our mouths, I get caught by the guards.
"Stop this game!" I hear Jack shout.
"I order you to stop this game!" The doctor's voice commands I struggle and break free, I had to get to her, any rational thought was gone, I had to get there. Rose starts running to us,
"You are the weakest link." I shake my head and push harder.
"Look out for the Anne Droid, it's armed!" Rose shouts,
'Doesn't matter.' I think to myself, The droids mouth opens, and then in slow motion again the beam hits Rose in the back and she's gone... 'No' I came to an abrupt stop and my legs gave out, from shock I think... My throat was to tight, I wanted to scream. I opened my mouth to as well, but the only thing that came out were choked coughs.
They hacked at my lungs and I tasted copper, I continued to cough and cry, I spat the blood onto the floor trying to stop and wipe it away. I feel a presence rubbing my back but I don't register, I vaguely heard Jack shouting but I could only make out a few words.
"What...hell...do...her?" My coughing calmed and I just cried. I looked over at the Doctor he was blank hollow...
"Jackie." I whisper... I pull myself up, "Jackie." I try again, but it's not loud enough, I start to walk on unstable legs, Jack was waving his gun at two people a man and woman.
"Back off!" He shouted, I finally got to him and I grabbed the edge of his shirt,
"Jackie." He looked at me and his eyes soften, I wrap my arms around his middle, 'She is with them.'
"I need security and I need it here right now! It's this lot..." I don't pay attention to the woman I just hug him tighter,
"Don't you touch him! Leave him alone!" I span around my eyes dangerous. The security guard pulls the Doctor to his feet and places a gun to his head. The Doctor doesn't resist, he just lets him do it...
They pried me away from Jack as I screamed, I didn't want to let go, they tied my hands and his, he was shouting at the woman again.
"You killed her! Your stupid freaking game show killed her." The Doctor stare's at the pile of ash and then his eyes turn to me, I stop fighting and just look, trying to say with my eyes 'She's alive.' but he didn't seem to get it.
"Ma'am, I'm arresting you under Private Legislation Sixteen of the Game Station Syndicate." I tune him out and let my eyes turn cold, anger licked at me from the inside, Ice cold flames of rage, I was never one to act out, I planned and then I took action, they were going to pay for all the lives that they had ended and then the Daleks were going to pay... Nothing was going to stop me.

The Doctor is slammed roughly against a gate as he is searched, this only enhances my rage. The Doctor is completely unresisting, past caring. The sonic screwdriver is wrenched from his pocket he still does nothing. He's turned roughly back to face the security guard, who brandishes it in his face.
"Can you tell us the purpose of this device, sir?" he demands briskly, No response. The Doctor isn't even looking at it. But I am, I just looked at it, as if it could
cool the rage, but right now that was all that was keeping me going. As we were pushed he was pushed past me,
"She's alive." I whisper, that got a reaction, his sharp eyes looked at me in question and I nodded. I saw the plan spark.

We're sat on the bench being interrogated all of us, Jack, The Doctor, Me in between them, Lynda and the Dan.
"Can you tell us how you got on board?" the guard asked,
"Just leave him alone-" Lynda tries, he grabs her chin to silence her and I lash my foot at him,
"Leave them alone." I spat with as much venom in my voice as possible. I must have looked like a caged animal because he backed off, Jack and the doctor each touched me and I let my glare dying down again.
"Sir? Can you tell us who you are?" The guard continued, I closed my eyes and lent my head back against the wall, god Iwas tired.

We had our convict photo's taken from the front and both sides, the doctor was blank, it was almost like a war camp... I had more venom in my eyes when they took the pictures but other than that we were all blank. And then we are taken back to the cell. We don't react, the Doctor and Jack knew the plan.
"You will be taken from this place to the Lunar Penal Colony, there to be held without trial, you may not appeal against this sentence." The guard informed, Lynda and Dan shuffle uncomfortably whilst we remain calm and give no acknowledgment that we had heard him, "Is that understood?" The guard asked coldly, we still make no remark, I lean on my knees my hands hanging in the air. The guard opens the doors, my hand reached into my shoe and pulled out a small barely noticeable knife, they hadn't checked my shoes, their mistake
"Let's do it." The doctor says to us, Jack punched and kicked his way though the gate tossing a guard aside, I slammed the hilt of the knife into his nest knocking him out, the doctor throwing another guard easily into a wall and I repeat the action. I grab my daggers and the other's grab weapons of their own I slid the knife back into my shoe and we all leave. The alarm had been set off. I looked directly in the camera and grinned sadistically just to scare them.
We piled into the lift.
"Floor 500." I announce in monotone taking my Daggers from their sheaths, The Doctor releases the safety catch on the huge defabricator he is now holding. His face is dark, and he means business, it was the war all over again. The lift moves up.
We all look clam on the outside Jack, the Doctor, Lynda and Dan holding their guns, I shudder, it wasn't right, the doctor should never hold a gun... I was throwing my knife's around from one hand to another. The doors open and we all walk into the room deadly and silent until Jack starts to speak.
"Okay! Move away from the desk! Nobody try anything clever. Everybody clears!" he shouts, the staff scatter as the Doctor strides towards the Controller as though he has tunnel vision. I walk over to the woman that was their with Rose and I stand in front of her the daggers catching her eyes,
"Stand to the sides. And stay there." Jack bellows,
"You could have stopped this from happening, you should have stopped the game show." I growl out, she moves back in obvious fear, I can't bring myself to care, she was he reason my cousin was in danger and that didn't sit well with me.
"Who's in charge of this place?" I glance over at the doctor's voice and cringe, 'this was just after the war.' I remind myself, he is just using what he knows.
"... 18... 19... 20..." The controller counts,
"This Satellite's more than a Game Station." The doctor continues,
"79..."
"Who killed Rose Tyler?" He barked out
"All staff are reminded that solar flares-"
"Doctor-" I try,
"I want an answer!" I flinch as he shouted.
"... in delta point one." she continues as though he hadn't spoke.
"She can't reply." A man finally says, the Doctor abruptly swings the gun around to the staff, making them all flinch.
"Don't shoot!" I roll my eyes but think just the same thing.
"Oh, don't be so thick. Like I was ever gonna shoot." The doctor scoffs, and he tosses the defabricator to the Male Programmer. "Captain, we've got more guards on the way up. Secure the exits." he continues
"Yes, sir!" jack calls, I walk up to the doctor,
"You did look like you were going to shoot though." I comment, he sends me a small but strained grin, "Been about a hundred years since we were here last." he nods,
"You - what were you saying?" He says to the poor guy holding the gun, I still felt anger and nothing was going to help the Daleks when I was through with them.
"But... I've got your gun." He stuttered completely floored,
"Okay, so shoot us." I quip
"Why can't she answer?" The doctor continues...
"She's, um..." He's completely distracted, I sigh and put the Daggers away and march up to him,
"Oh for god sake." I snatch it off him and put it on safety and then motion for him to carry on.
"Thanks." he breathes before looking over at the Doctor. "Sorry. Um... the Controller is linked to the transmissions. The entire output goes through her brain - you're not a member of staff so she doesn't recognize your existence." the doctor looks up at the girl.
"What's her name?" he asked softly,
"I don't know. She was installed when she was five years old. That's the only life she's ever known." I cut in as he says this,
"How far has humanity fallen, INSTALLED! She is a human being, she shouldn't be used as a computer!" I roar
"Door's sealed. We should be safe for about ten minutes." Jack called over stopping my tirade of anger, I take a breath,
"Keep an eye on 'em." the doctor calls back,
"But that stuff you were saying about something going on with the Game Station - I think you're right." The man agreed,
"Of course he is." I snap, the doctor winds his hand around my waist to keep me there. Jacks looks down at his wrist, pulling away from the Doctor's side I walked over to Jack. "What's up?" I asked, he looked at me, and then looked around, I looked at his wrist and saw what he had read.
Artron Energy Here... (Completely made up) I grab his wrist and pull him towards archive six,
"You're not allowed in there! Archive Six is out of bounds!" The woman interrupted, I turn and glare at her letting some of the anger to the surface, Jack held up his guns and I turned back to the door,
"Do we look like out-of-bounds sort of people?" He retorted with annoyance, I place my hand on the pad and the doors open, there inside was one of the most beautiful things in the universe.
The TARDIS.
My phone went off looking at it in surprise I look at the ID
'Jack' I roll my eyes, I really wanted to talk but he had the worst timing
"Who's that?" Jack asked,
"Brother." I counter quickly. I accept, "Not really the best timing." I greet,
"Andy? It's Owen."
"Owen?" I question surprised, "Why are you calling?" I ask wearily now.
"It's about the tests Jack didn't say how long you have , please you've only got-" the phone cut off, I look at the phone in my hand
'Call disconnected.' I felt dread, Owen had sounded frantic, also why was the call disconnected? How long exactly did I have? I shook the thought's away, I was better off not knowing at this point, I was distracted enough already... putting the phone in my pocket and head inside the doors, I see Rose's jacket and then I look at the console where the heart is.
The TARDIS gives a loud hum, I nod
'Soon though...' I see Jack looking at the monitor and walk over peeking under his arm I look at the screen with him. After a few minutes he's grinning,
"I told you." I whispered in his ear. he turned to me and picked me up by the waist spinning me around, I let out a shriek of shock and laughter.
"She's not dead." he sets men my feet and runs out. I crouch over and hold my stomach as it twisted sharply... OW!
"Something's not right... I know what's wrong..." I mutter, I know what's wrong why does it have to hurt me... I groan to myself and straighten up walking back out.
"But the TARDIS worked it out." I hear jack say as I emerged, he shoves a man out of his chair and sit in it,
"You'll wanna watch this." I say walking over to Jack and leaning on the back of the chair calmly, he turns and watches,
"Lynda, could you stand over there for me please?" Jack pleaded nicely,
"I- I just wanna go home." Lynda stuttered, I look over at Dan
"Dan would you mind?" I ask indicating, he nodded and walked to where Jack pointed,
"Everybody watching? Okay... three, two, one-" Jack presses a button and a disintegration beam shoots down from the ceiling and hits Dan. There's nothing left but a billow of smoke for a moment I feel bad.
"But you killed him!" The doctor exclaims in shock, Lynda looks at us in horror.
"Oh, d'you think?" I reach over a Jack says this and hit the same button, Dan reappears unharmed and slightly dazed, I let out a breath and let a small smile touch my lips,
"... What in the bloody hell happened?" He blurted, we dismiss him and I say a quick thank you, The Doctor looks to us for an explanation.
"It's a transmat beam." Jack started
"Not a disintegrator" I continue before we say in harmony
"A secondary transmat system." We beam at each other and the Doctor is realizing what we're trying to say... his eyes light up...
"People don't get killed in the games! They get transported across space! Doctor, Rose is still alive!" Jack shouts in glee,
"I told you so." I say cheerily, The Doctor laughs with ecstatic relief. They throw their arms around each other, grinning madly, so happy, I watch with a content smile on my face but then I was pulled into their hug and squished between them. I pull back and look at them, "I need you to send me through the transmat." they stop grinning
"Why?" they demand, I slap both of their heads "OW!"
"I'm not leaving Rose alone, now do it before I ask someone else to." they nod rubbing their heads Jack less hesitant than the Doctor, I sigh, "Jack you do it please." He nods and I stand where Dan had before.
"Ready?" I take a deep breath and nod,
"Here I come Rosie." I mutter and then it went white.

I stood there a little confused and dazed and then I groan,
"God that thing messes with my head." I look around and see Daleks and tense, then I see Rose stirring on the floor. Walking over I sit on my hunches and wait for her to wake up.
Rose sits up and see's me.
"Alex!" she sigh's in relief, then looks around and see's what I know to be the Daleks, she scrambles backwards and presses against the wall, I slowly back over to her side.
"But you're dead... I saw you die! Alex was there!" She panics, she is backed up fully against the wall, she edges sideways but is stopped by the plunger...

"Who is least important."
Someone started screaming.

I shake my head and look away from the thing.
Suddenly there was another transmat and I pull Rose to me, pushing her head into my shoulder
"Thank god you're okay." I sigh. I see the Controller appear on the floor of the spaceship, the holes all over her body where the wires once entered her. She stands, her blind eyes staring forward. Defiant but proud in the face of what she knows is death.
"Oh, my masters..." she says a smile on her face. I see the Dalek come towards her and close my eyes tightly. "You can kill me. For I have brought your destruction."she is gleeful and I know that I would be to if I had done this to monster's like these. there's a sound and then a thump follows it, opening my eyes she was dead on the floor.

We sat there on the floor huddled together holding each others hands silent and then I hear the one thing I wanted to hear for at least 7 minutes.
"Alert! Alert! We are detected!" One of the bleats, my gut twists tighter, why oh why did this have to happen, I already know something is wrong and that I'm tired.
"It is the Doctor! He has located us!" another screeches I cringe god that sound was annoying, Rose looks around her eyes wide, I had nothing but pity and anger for them.
"Open communications channel!" The Dalek screeches again, it swivels on us,
"The females will stand. Stand!" it shrills, Rose clambers to her feet and I get up calmly leaning on the wall, it was all an act I was a little terrified of them,
insane Daleks went to the asylum... A shudder wrecks though me,

"They survived me." The doctor whisper's...

The Dalek looks up and an an image materializes in mid-air - the Doctor, Jack, Lynda, Dan the Male Programmer and the Female Programmer all staring back at us and the Daleks.
He looks grim, looking at the three Daleks flanking Rose and myself with distaste.
"I will talk to the Doctor." Dalek 1 announces,
"Oh, will you? That's nice. Hello!" I smile as he waves at us mockingly, his fake grin fading rapidly.
"The Dalek Stratagem nears completion. The Fleet is almost ready. You will not intervene." Dalek 1 continues, sarcasm is completely lost on this bunch.
"Oh, really? Why's that then?" he questions,
"We have your associates. You will obey or they will be exterminated." I scoff,
"Not a very original threat." The doctor and Jack send me a look and Rose is shaking holding my hand for dear life looking up at the screen.
"No." He shouts, i grin, everyone looks at him, Rose had her mouth hanging open, I gently push it up chuckling.
"Explain yourself." Dalek 1 order's
"I said 'no'." He states simply.
"What is the meaning of this negative?" The Dalek questions in confusion.
"It means 'no'." He says seriously, I roll my eyes, and you wonder why they hate you?
"But they will be destroyed." The Dalek pointed out. I stifle a laugh at the image of a Dalek pointing with a dumbstruck look on it's face.
"No! 'Cos this is what I'm gonna do - I'm gonna rescue them." Rose listens as he speaks passionately, the pride evident in her eyes. The others glance at him in awe, looking at their faces i feel pride for the doctor, he had come a long way from the war. "I'm gonna save Rose Tyler and Alexandra Maryanne Flame from the middle of the Dalek Fleet, and then I'm gonna save the Earth, and then just to finish off, I'm gonna wipe every last STINKING Dalek outta the sky!" He shouts like a true hero, fiery, protective and always taking the big speech. I was tempted to clap but held off on the urge.
"But you have no weapons! No defences! No plan!" The Dalek shrills, the doctor grins
"Yeah. And doesn't that scare you to death? 'Lexa?' Rose?"
"Yes, Doctor?" Rose responds eagerly, I grin,
"Yes Sweetie."
"I'm coming to get you." The line closes and I let out a laugh,
"Always with the dramatics." I mutter to Rose.
"The Doctor is initiating hostile action!" Dalek 1 shrieks,
"The Stratagem must advance. Begin the invasion of Earth!" I groan, what was with earth and alien invasions... They spin around wildly. Rose gasps but they take no notice of her, we step out of their way.
"The Doctor will be exterminated!" Another Dalek declared,
"Exterminate!" They shout as one. The entire ship is filled with thousands of Daleks crying 'Exterminate!' as one. Rose looks around in terror and myself in slight concern and pity for at the huge, insane army.
