Chapter 26-Escape

Laura's POV: I woke up in my room. My head hurt really bad. I start to get up but i can't. What the? I look down. Why the heck am i all tied up? I start to move more. What should i do? I look around. My eyes land on the button to call the nurse. I move my hand and push it. A minuet later, the doctor and nurse come in.

Doctor: Oh, Laura. Good morning. How are you feeling?

Laura: Im good. But why am i all tied up?

Doctor: Well, we need you to be in this hospital.

Laura: Ok? I am in the hospital.

Doctor: No, i mean... without leaving.

Laura: What?

Doctor: You can't go out. And no one can be allowed to see you anymore.

Laura: Why?

Doctor: Your emotions are too high and dangerous. If that continues to happen then... you won't make it too long.

Laura: It won't matter. We all know at the end... I won't make it.

Doctor: I know. But we need to keep you living as much as possible.

Laura: This isn't living! What purpose do we have if we can't do anything but stay in bed!? That's not living! We live to be free! To explore! To try new things! Not just waste our lives doing absolutely nothing!

Nurse: Doctor? We should go.

Doctor: We should. Enjoy your stay Laura.

Laura: Let me out!

Laura's POV: They shut the door. My eyes widen not believing what just happened. Im gonna spend the rest of my months of living stuck on this bed!? Without seeing anyone!? This can't be happening! I need to get out of here! I wiggle and turn but it gets me nowhere.

Laura: UGH! I need to get out!

Laura's POV: I hear the window open and someone fall in with a crash. Then i hear a groan. It's sounds like a guy. He finally gets up. Of coarse, it's Ross.

Laura: Ross? What are you doing here?

Ross: Im here to see you.

Laura: Ok, you saw me. Now what do you want?

Ross: Im gonna get you out.

Laura: But the doctor said-

Ross: Forget what the doctor said. You need to live your life.

Laura: You're right... Ross, get me out.

Laura's POV: I unties me. I rub my thighs. They tied me up a little tight. He grabs my hand and pulls me towards the window. I look at him confused. He just jumps out.

Laura: Ross?

Ross: Im ok. Now you.

Laura: No way. Im not jumping.

Ross: Come on, Ill catch you.

Laura: *sighs* You better.

Laura's POV: I shut my eyes and jump. I feel the breeze blow my hair. I waited to fall in Ross's soft, big, muscular arms. But instead, i felt the cold, wet, hard ground.

Laura: Oww!

Laura's POV: I looked up and saw Ross smirking. Why did he not catch me. I told him to!

Laura: WHAT THE HECK!? I told you to catch me!

Ross: Laura, you do realize that it's only like, a 5 feet right?

Laura: Oh. But you still could have caught me!

Ross: Whatever. Lets go!

Laura's POV: He grabbed my hand and pulled me to his car. The moment i put my seat belt on, Ross drove off. And may i say, REALLY fast.

Laura: Ross! Slow down!

Ross: What? Oh, Sorry. Habit...

Laura's POV: He slows down. I calm down a bit. But then registered what he just said.

Laura: Habit? How is that a habit?

Ross: Well our band is always late, so i have to drive really fast to the concert.

Laura: Well next time, go an hour earlier. How haven't you still gotten a ticket?

Ross: Actually, i already have.

Laura: Figures... Where are we going?

Ross: Surprise.

Laura: Oh no, don't tell me. It's on my list.

Ross: Yup.

Laura: So that means... we're going to the zoo!

Ross: No, we're going to go ride The Black Mamba again.

Laura: WHAT!? NO!

Ross: *laughs* Just kidding, Laura. We are going to the zoo.

Laura: Oh, thank god.

Laura's POV: He chuckles and turns on some music. Loud, comes on. He turns it up and pulls down the windows. He dances and sings in his seat when there is a red light. This earns him weird looks by the people beside the car.

Ross: Hey, have you heard of this band?

Guy: No.

Ross: It's like the best band ever. You should hear their songs. They're awesome.

Laura's POV: I roll my eyes. Typical Ross. Ross then continues to sing and dance in his seat.

Laura's POV: Then the lights turned green and Ross drove away still dancing and singing along. Oh gosh. Can this guy get any more cocky?

Ross: It's a awesome band right? Even that Ross guy is HOT!

Laura's POV: I face palm myself. Yes. Yes he can. How can his ego be that big? Seriously. I wanna know.

Ross: We're here.

Laura's POV: I look out the window. I was too busy wondering about his mysteriously HUGE ego, that i didn't pay attention. I took my seat belt off and was about to open the door to get out when...

Ross: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Laura's POV: Ross pushes my hand away and gets out the car and runs in front of the car. He tries to slide over the front of the car like the spies in movies but fails when he accidentally slides off and falls. He quickly gets up and dusts himself off. Then runs to my side of the car and opens it. He grabs my hand and helps me out of the car. I look behind him and see a little boy weirded out by what he just did.

Laura: Was that really necessary?

Ross: Yes, Laura. It was.

Laura's POV: Now do you see how cocky he is? If you haven't then you need serious help. He locks the car then takes my hand and walks over to pay. When he pays. We go in and all of a sudden, a colorful parrot flies and lands on my head. I don't move.

Laura: Please don't go to the bathroom on my head.

Laura's POV: Ross laughs. I glare at him. But he keeps laughing until, another parrot flies on his head. But this parrot, actually went to the bathroom on his dirty blonde hair. This was my turn to laugh. Ross's eyes widen. Then a lady comes and takes the parrot off his head. Her name tag said, 'Samantha'

Samantha: Oh gosh! Im so sorry! They always run away from me and i lose them! Let me help you!

Laura's POV: She takes the bird off my head and puts them in their cages. Then two other guys take them away.

Ross: No, ill just go to the bathroom to wash up. It's ok.

Samantha: Ok. Sorry, but here. Take this.

Laura's POV: She hands us... bird food? Cool...

Ross: Thanks.

Samantha: Have fun you two love birds.

Laura's POV: My eyes widen. Before i could correct her saying that we were just friends, she left. I looked at Ross who was slightly blushing. But he walked to the bathroom. He came back a few minuets later. His hair was soaked! He kinda looked hot. What?! Stop it Laura! You can't think about him like that!

Ross: Alright, where do you wanna go first?

Laura: TIGERS!

Laura's POV: I jumped up and down while clapping my hands. Then stopped and blushed.

Laura: Sorry.

Laura's POV: Sometimes i can act like a little kid. It's embarrassing.

Ross: Don't be, it's cute.

Laura's POV: There goes that blush again. Oh gosh. I hate how i blush so easily and especially how my skin is so freaking pale! I need to get a tan. Ross grabs my hand and we walk over to the tigers. When we got there i was amazed. Tigers look so awesome up close. I only saw them on the National Geographic channel. One tiger was sleeping. It was orange with black strips and looked female. Another tiger was taking a bath. It was white with black strips. It looked male. They looked so amazing and wild. Then the female woke up. It got up. My eyes widen when i saw 3 other baby tigers.

Laura: Aww! SO CUTE!

Laura's POV: The male got out of the water and came to the others. The male and female cuddled with their babies. Aww. They look like a happy family.

Laura: IT'S ADORABLE!

Laura's POV: Ross muttered something that i couldn't hear. I looked at him confused and his eyes widened.

Laura: What?

Ross: Nothing!

Laura: Ok?...

Ross: Come on, lets go see the lions!

Laura: Ill catch up. I wanna stay longer.

Ross: Ok, see ya there.

Laura's POV: He leaves. I watch the happy family a little longer. I wish i still had my mom and dad. The memory of them flashes in my mind. It was a happy feeling. But the tragic memory also came in my mind. I quickly got it out of my head and left. I walked over the lions. But i didn't see Ross. Where is he? I heard a loud whisper calling my name. I looked around. Who's calling me? I looked around still not finding the person who called me. Then i heard it again. It came from below. I looked down. My eyes widen and i panicked.

Laura: ROSS!?

Laura's POV: There he was. Stuck inside the lions exhibit. How did that he get in there!? You know what? Never mind. I don't wanna know. No one will ever know what goes on in his head. He just ends up somewhere stupid.

Ross: Help me up!

Laura: Ok, ok! Grab my hand, Ill pull you up!

Laura's POV: I reached down. Trying to get as down as i could. The metal bars really hurt. I finally grabbed his hand. I pulled. Dang! He's heavy!

Laura: You need to lay off those pancakes!

Ross: Hurry!

Laura's POV: I froze. A couple feet away, was a VERY, HUNGRY, SCARY, lion. And it was looking straight at Ross. I pulled hard. I was almost there. But being the clumsy person i am, i slipped. Now Ross and i, both fell. I landed on top of Ross's hard, smooth chest. I looked up and saw Ross smiling.

Ross: Hey.

Laura: Ross, we're gonna die.

Laura's POV: He looked at me confused. But then his eyes widened. He looked behind me. I slowly looked behind myself. The lion stood there. Looking at me in the eyes. He was only inches away from my face. The next thing the lion did, was shocking.

Ross: I can't believe it did that!

Laura: I thought it was sweet.

Ross: No it wasn't! It licked you!

Laura: No! It kissed me!

Ross: Whatever.

Laura: Aww! Was Ross scared of that big scary kitty?

Ross: What?! No!

Laura's POV: I laughed. It was actually a funny story. When the lion pounced on me, it turned out that he wanted to play. He kissed me and let me go. He snuggled on my leg and so i pet it. Ross was looking at me like he just saw an alien or ghost and kept his distance away from the lion. I chuckled. The lion was actually fun. We jogged around and did some tricks. Then the manager came and helped us out. We continued looking at the animals. It was fun. Right now, we're looking at the monkeys.

Ross: You pack any bananas?

Laura: Uh, no. Why would i pack bananas?

Ross: For the monkeys.

Laura: Yeah but we snuck out the hospital. There was no time for bananas.

Ross: Speaking of hospitals, we should go before you get caught.

Laura: Oh, ok. Come on.

Laura's POV: We walked out. As soon as we did, a couple of girls were taking selfies. They looked over at us and they started fangirling.

Girl: OMG! ROSS LYNCH! MARRY ME!

Laura's POV: Oh no. Not this time. I grabbed his hand and pulled him in the car. I locked all the doors. The girls were all trying to get in.

Laura: Drive.

Ross: OK?

Laura's POV: He started driving. I just looked out the window smirking at all the girls. Ha! Suckers!

Ross: What was that all about?

Laura: Nothing. Just didn't want you to get attacked. Plus we really don't have time for the girls, we need to go before i get caught.

Ross: Oh, ok?

Laura's POV: I turned on the radio. Im Sexy And I Know It was on. Ross face lit up.

Ross: I love this song! It perfectly describes me!

Laura's POV: I roll my eyes. And here goes more cockiness...

Laura: It should be, Im Cocky And I Know It.

Laura's POV: He chuckles. The song, Forget About You by R5 pops in my head. Oh no, here we go, hear your voice on the radio like every single song is about you. Totally describes what's happening right now. Ross turns up the volume and puts his window down. He dances and sings along. And here we go again...
