Chapter 6: Going for Help
Elsa's POV:
Mornings with my sister and cousin always starts with a wonderful and scrumptious aroma from the kitchen. It was so tempting that when the moment you open your eyes you want the food right there next to you and all you have to do is eat until every last particle is gone..
But, that isn't going to happen. At all.
I slowly opened my eyes and the glow of the sun is starting to burn my eyes out. Glancing at the clock, it's 10am.
Don't get me wrong, I'm an early-bird. But due to the events of last night, I seriously needed some sleep.
I did my usual morning routines. I know you're not that interested in the things I do in the morning.
I slowly opened the door and looked around the corridor. I took a whiff of the air and I almost melted. Good thing I have a long-haired cousin who is blonde and an amazing cook named Rapunzel.
I walked towards the stairs, but as soon as I saw the dark blue door where the full blast of chill was coming from, all hunger was lost and curiosity went ahead of me. Why did the "curious" part of the family was so strong on me?
Hey, I'm not that curious, anyway. Anna's curiosity was so intense that it can be called "being nosy at times."
I twisted the knob and I was greeted by the chilly blast of air coming from the air conditioner. Seriously, do you know how much Dad paid for that? If you knew, you would never look at that air-con for the next 2 years.
I slowly peeked my head in the door and I saw the white-and-brown room that belongs to whoever guest stays the night with us.
I began to fully enter my body and finally to close the door silently.
It was cold, even though some rays of sunlight was peeking through the window blinds. The room was beautiful in the morning, it's gorgeous white shining and the luscious brown fully complimenting it.
The bed was a bit messy, and a half of shocking white hair was nearly buried in the thick sheets of the comforter. The sheets rise a little, then fall back.
I bent down a little so I could see properly. I pulled back the covers a bit to see what the whole women population wanted to see.
That glorious sleeping face of his.
I can't hold back a smile as he slowly breathed intakes of air with his slightly-parted mouth. His closed eyes held back swirls of deep blue and mischievousness that rivaled with thousands of kids.
The sight was beautiful. And heck, it's attractive.
I mean, who can and who would sleep that perfectly?!
Anna sleeps like a cow snoring and with a head that resembles a nest for eagles. Even I can't do it. How do I know? Punzie took a picture of me sleeping when I accidentally drank whiskey. And don't ask how it looks.
I was so awestruck by the way he looked, I just stared at it. I don't care if someone opened the door, I knew they would take one look at his face and the next thing I'll know, were gonna be both staring at it.
It was then I realized that deep blue ones was also staring at mine. Wait, I thought he was.. sleeping?
Great.
Jack's POV:
The moment I opened my eyes was one moment in my life I knew, I didn't want to forget.
Perfect blue eyes, staring at mine. The picture was so perfect, it nearly lulled me back to sleep. But, I feared that when I closed my eyes, those gorgeous pair of eyes, mysterious and beautiful, will be gone.
It was then I realized, I saw it before..
Then, realization took over me like a bucket full of cold water. It was Elsa's.
She blinked, gasped lightly and jerked away. Yep. It was her, alright.
"Uh.. I didn't mean to stare at- I mean.. I wasn't.. I didn't-", she was full on blushing and waving her hands in denial.
I smirked and her blush was getting darker. "And I thought you weren't a creep..", I chuckled and she widened her eyes.
"What?! Oh my God, I didn't mean to! You were just so innocent and cute and- Wait.", she covered her mouth and I laughed.
"You just admitted I'm cute.", I wiggled my eyebrows and she blushed.
"NO! I mean, yes, I technically did, but that was an accident! I was just lost for words and-"
I sat up. "Nope. I'm cute. You said it." She huffed. "Fine." I laughed and stood up. "So what brings you here, snowflake?"
"Nothing, really. Just wanted to see if you're awake.", she shrugged.
"Or, maybe you want to watch me sleep, perv Elsa.", I tsked and she blushed.
"I didn't even say anythi-"
"If you wanted this,", I motioned to my whole body, "you could have asked. I would gladly give it to you.", I grinned.
She cringed and I laughed. "Jack, I'm not that desperate. I could easily get that,", she pointed to my body, "with another guy.", she grinned.
"Well, you don't have to look for one. You have one right here.", I winked.
"I have my own tastes.", she smiled.
"Can I taste yours?", I smirked. She made a fake confused face. "So you want to taste.. my tastes?", she stifled a laugh.
"I don't.. know?", I looked at her, confused with my previous remark and we both erupted in laughter.
The door swung open and Punzie's head popped out. Annoyed.
"I'm tired of waiting! Anna's down there drooling and I said she won't be eating without you guys! And now, here you are, having fun and flirting and EVERYTHING. AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?! IT'S FREAKING 12! I WANT TO EAT!", she begged and Elsa smiled. "Okay! We'll be down, shortly."
"NOW.", she narrowed her eyes and we both hurriedly went downstairs.
We walked towards the kitchen and saw Anna ready to lunge at the delicious food in front of her. She turned her head to the side.
"FINALLY!", she grinned and took a mountain load of food on her plate. I laughed. Nothing beats Anna's appetite.
We ate breakfast by storm. And the next I knew, our plates were empty and our stomachs were full.
"Worth it.", I grinned at Elsa and sat at the couch.
*Beeeeeeeep* *Beeeeeeeep*
I took out my phone and checked it. I saw the bunny picture and I immediately knew who it was. "And there goes my phone.. Can I?", Elsa smiled and nodded. "Go answer it."
I ran towards the door leading to the garden and answered my phone.
"What is it?", I irritatingly asked.
"Calm down, mate. I've got news.", my brother, Aster. I mean, Bunny.
"Again, what is it?", I exhaled loudly.
"Remember Thalia?", Bunny's voice cracked.
Something clicked on my mind. "You don't mean.."
"Yes, I do. Tooth. She's visiting.", I can sense the irritation in his voice.
"Why the hell is she going to visit?"
"Don't know. Anyway, I'll leave the house at three. She's arriving at four. Don't wanna see her face.", he chuckled.
"What am I gonna do?!", I asked, panicked.
"Why ask me that? I've never had a desperate ex who just pops out of nowhere.", he laughed and I wanted the punch him. Right in the face.
"Shut up. How did you know she was visiting anyway?"
"She called me. Yep. She said, ", he cleared his throat and spoke in a girly, high-pitched voice. "I'm so excited to see Jack again! I hope he wants to see me too!", he cracked at the last word and I laughed.
"Look, mate. It's already two, and you gotta see her before she screams your name on the news."
"Okay! I'll figure something out..", And I hung up.
Anna's POV:
I saw Elsa sitting alone on the couch, reading a book.
It was Jack, talking to someone on the phone. And he looks pretty distressed.
I walked up to him when he went inside. "Girl problems?", I said and he widened his eyes. "How the... How'd you know?"
"I can tell by the looks of your face. What is it?", I smiled.
"Hmm.. Wait. Call Punzie and the three of us will talk.", Jack grinned.
I pulled Punzie out of the kitchen and she squeaked. "Hey! What's going on?!"
"Jack needs a love expert. You might be one.", I grinned and walked towards Jack.
He was in the corner of the hallway, shushing and pointing to Elsa. He mouthed, "Don't say anything to Elsa."
I nodded and we sat on the floor, hidden from Elsa's view.
"So, what's the problem?", Punzie asked.
"My ex is coming to my house.", he cringed and I laughed. But quickly shushed by Jack.
"What am I gonna do? It's not like I can kick her out or something..!", Jack said, frustrated.
"You can make her jealous. If she still has feelings for you, and sees you with a girl IN your house, she might leave and never come back. Unless she's willing to fight..", Punzie said like a true teacher giving a student wise words.
"Wow. I'm glad I'm your cousin!", I laughed. Jack's face lightened up and grinned.
"That's a great idea! Wait, who can be the girl..?", his face turning hopeless again.
"Who else?", I grinned and pointed at Elsa. He smirked.
"If she agrees.", Punzie snickered.
"We'll make her agree.", I smiled, a plan whipping up in my brain.
"How?", Jack leans, interested.
"Follow my lead, and Elsa will surely be in your house in no time.", I grinned as I told them the plan.
Okaaaay...
That was a cliffie.
Hahaha, anyways! I will update as soon as I can. IF I CAN, I WILL. TOMORROW. Hahaha.
Let's hope.
