Chapter 45-Today Is The Day...

Part 1

Laura's POV: Yep! Today is the day. Today is the day we start fresh. Today is the day the year number will change. Today is the day everyone kisses. Today is the day everyone cries. Today is the day I finally leave this earth. Yep. A lot of things will happen today. I did expect this day to come. It just came too fast. Im chopping vegetables for the New Year's Eve party.

Vanessa: Are the carrots done?

Laura: Yeah. Almost.

Vanessa: Great!

Laura: Hey, Vanessa?

Vanessa: Yeah?

Laura: Are you gonna kiss Riker when the clock strikes 12?

Vanessa: *blushes* Umm...

Laura: Good luck. I hope you enjoy it.

Vanessa: OK?... Are those carrots done now?

Laura: Yeah, here.

Laura's POV: I give the chopped carrots to Vanessa. She puts it in the pot.

Vanessa: Shoot! I forgot the grapes! We need grapes!

Laura: Calm down.

Vanessa: NO! We need the grapes for the wishes! Without them, the party will be ruined!

Laura: Vanessa! Calm down! Ill get them!

Vanessa: Ok. Here, come back quick.

Laura's POV: She hands me the money. I grab my coat and boots. I walk to the grocery store. Along the way, i see people rushing and getting their needs. They buy, food, fireworks, champagne, decorations, etc. I walk through the aisle and grab a bag of grapes. I walk to the line and look over the magazines. I spot a familiar face in one. I pick it up and my eyes widen. 'Popstar Ross Lynch spends a year with a teenaged girl!' Oh no...

Woman: Ma'm?

Laura: OH! Sorry.

Laura's POV: I pay for the grapes and the magazine. I wanna take a look inside. I walk back to the apartment. But along the way, a bunch of reporters see me. They instantly recognize me and run towards me. And that's when i start to run. I run and run. I finally reach the apartment and see that it's already flooded with paparazzi. How do they know where i live!? I push everyone away and get inside. I run up the stairs and to the apartment room. Im out of breath. I see everyone in the living room.

Ross: Oh. Heeeeeeyyyyy.

Laura: What's going on?

Rydel: Umm...

Vanessa: It's better if you don't know.

Laura: Ok fine. Im going to my room.

Ross: Laura, wait!

Laura: No, Im fine. Im just gonna take a rest. I literally had to run here.

Laura's POV: I leave the grapes on the table. Then leave to my room. I close the door and lock it. I hop on my bed and take out the magazine. I open it up.

Popstar Ross Lynch has been spotted in different areas with a teenaged girl. They have been to the movies, zoo, park, mall, spa, etc. Reporters say that the girl's name is, Laura Marie Marano. Ross's arrest a couple of months ago was because of trespassing the local hospital. He was sneaking in to see Laura and spend time with her. Many say that they're dating. Others say he's just doing it because he feels bad for her. Laura Marano is diagnosed with cancer. It is said that she will die soon. No one know how soon but some say about a few days. We are all wondering the same thing. Why would Ross be with a local teenaged girl? Many say that he could never date a fan. A lot say he should date Maia Mitchell from Teen Beach Movie. But whatever it is, it's Ross's choice...

Laura's POV: Me? Ross? Dating? Cancer? Days? Never Date Fan? Should Date Mia? Ross's choice? It repeats in my head. Ross's choice. I can't believe it. A couple of days to live. Oh if they only knew. They will know soon. Very soon. I walk out my room. 5 more hours left. Just 5 more little hours left...
