Laura's POV: 1 more hour. Im beginning to shake. Everyone has enjoyed the party. We've danced, ate, and talked. I look over my list. Stay up until New Years. Im gonna complete that one. But the very last one, won't be completed. I sigh. At least i tried. I got all the others done. I enjoyed this year. 30 more minuets left. I need to go. I walk out the door without anyone noticing. I walk down the cold side walk. I need a place to die. Somewhere they won't find. I wanna die somewhere... Peaceful. Beautiful. Memorable. I walk down the empty park. This could be nice. The park has a lot of trees. I walk through them. I see a light. It's a pond. The pond's light is beautiful. I sit down. How come the water hadn't frozen? This pond might be special. I run a hand through the water. It's warm. Why? Strange... 10 more minutes... This year was great. this year was the best. This year was my last.

Ross: Laura?

Laura: *gasps* Ross? What are you doing here?

Ross: I followed you. What are you doing?

Laura: I-I... You need to go.

Ross: Why?

Laura: You need to go NOW.

Ross: What's wrong?

Laura: Ross, please leave!

Ross: NO! What's wrong with you!? What's going on!?

Laura: I don't want you to get hurt!

Ross: How am I gonna get hurt!?

Laura: Ross. Please.

Laura's POV: I begin to cry. 5 minuets... I don't want him to see me die. He'll be broken.

Ross: Laura, can you please tell me?

Laura: Today is the day.

Ross: What?

Laura: Im going to die today, Ross.

Ross: Today?

Laura: Yes.

Ross: It's time? Already?

Laura: Im sorry.

Ross: It came so fast.

Laura: I know. You have to let me go.

Ross: No, I-I can't.

Laura: Ross-

Ross: NO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!

Laura: Ross please-

Ross: NO! LAURA! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!

Laura: Ross! Look at me!

Laura's POV: I cup his face. I wipe his tears away. He looks so weak. I can't imagine how he'll be in 3 minuets.

Laura: Shh... Im here.

Ross: You won't be in a few minuets.

Laura: 2 minuets.

Ross: Thanks for the warning.

Laura: Ross, thank you.

Ross: For what?

Laura: For the best year of my life. And for the last.

Ross: No, you need to-

Laura: 1 minuet.

Ross: *sighs* I guess it's a good time to tell you.

Laura: What?

Ross: Happy New Years.

Laura's POV: He crashes his lips onto mine. Fireworks flew up the sky. And in my stomach too. His lips were soft and plump. I don't know how to kiss so i did my best. He kissed me slowly but hungry. Afraid to lose me. But he will lose me. His arms snake around my waist and my arms go around his neck. This feeling was strong. I can't believe it. Im kissing the Ross Shor Lynch! And... he likes me? He... likes me!

Ross's POV: This is the best feeling in the whole world. Laura is not bad for her first time. She's a great kisser. Everything in the world disappears. We are living in our little world. We pull away. I stare deep in her eyes. We have a big smile on our faces.

Ross: I Love You.

Ross's POV: She smiles bigger. But then, slowly Laura's smile fades. She collapses. I catch her and lay her on the grass. I hold her close to me.

Ross: Laura?!

Laura: Shh. It's ok.

Ross: No, please.

Ross's POV: I can't believe it. I check her pulse. Nothing. Out of nowhere the light of the pond grew brighter. Then fireflies flew around us. Finally everything became dark. The lights were out. What the heck? Is this nature's way of saying that she's dead? Whatever. I just continue to cry. Her list was finished. Done. She died happy. She did it... Now... Laura is dead...
