Authors Notes: Here it is guys! The new and hopefully improved The Color Pink! As you all know reviews would be great!
Marceline Abadeer looked up at her new school, Ooo Private Academy, and ran her fingers through her short black hair. This was the fourth high school she's been too since she started high school and hopefully her last. It was her senior year and she didn't want to have it ruined by her having to transfer again and starting all over with the friend making process. Not that she needed friends but they were preferred. She like having someone to talk to even though she'll never admit it. Anyways she turned off her black motorcycle and shoved the keys in her leather jacket pocket. She came to school pretty early so she wouldn't have to deal with all the stares she would get by all the private school kids. Which she guessed now she was one of. She gagged a little and made her way to the front door of this castle like school.
The inside was just how she expected it to be. Big and old looking. There were things that made it look like a normal high school. Like lockers and posters advertising school events and sports try-outs. But other than that the school look like an old time castle. She made her way into the main office. She looked at the person who was standing by the front desk. She stood about five feet, had her blonde hair wrapped in a bun and wore the adult version of the school uniform. The uniform was basically a short navy skirt for girls and navy slacks for boys. Each party wore a white button down shirt (tucked into the shirt) with a navy tie and a navy blazer with the school symbol on it which was a bulldog. Oh and the boys had to wear a belt. So the adult version for females was the same thing as the student version except they wore longer skirts. To the knee to be precise.
"Excuse me." Marceline said to the blonde woman.
She turn around fast and had a startled expression on her face. She calmed down once she realized that Marceline was just a student. "Oh hello child you startled me," she fixed her jacket, "School doesn't start for another 30 minutes what can I help you with?"
"I'm new here and I just wanted to come early and do any paperwork I have to fill out before school starts."
"Oh," the woman turned around and grabbed a sheet of paper, "We've been expecting you Miss Abadeer. You were supposed to start with everyone else at the beginning of the school year. You do realize that the school year started in late August right? It's October." She handed Marceline the paper.
Marceline shrugged. "I didn't want to start school so I took sometime off. I'm here now aren't I."
Marceline wasn't on for making good first impressions. Her reputation proceed her. She was the daughter of the Underworld King Pin and has bee kicked out of many schools for fighting and just causing trouble in general.
The blonde woman gave Marceline a disgusted look. "Well yes I guess you are here. I'm Mrs. Berry the principle at this fine establishment. I've read your record Miss Abadeer. If you think that that kind of behavior will happen in this school you are gravely mistaken. I will not hesitate to give you detention or even suspend you. Speaking of you aren't wearing the proper uniform for girls. Slacks are for boys only."
The pale girl sighed. She knew this would happen. "Well you see I'm not a really big skirt kinda girl and I'm more comfortable in pants. I'm sure that you can make an exception for me."
"If I let you wear those clothes will you behave?"
Marceline smirked. "Yes ma'am."
Mrs. Berry nodded. "Good. And please if you insist on have a male haircut please keep it neat and tidy like a respectable young lady."
Marceline shrugged and handed Mrs. Berry the sheet she filled out. "No promises." Marceline grabbed her schedule from the principles hand and left the office heading back outside to move her motorcycle to a different spot.
She could hardly believe that the principle had been so cool with her short haircut. She used to have really long hair but it had gotten to tiring to keep up with so she cut it all off and now it's good. And plus it's easier to put on a helmet with short hair. She turned on the motorcycle and started to back up when she heard beeping behind her. She look back and saw a purple Volkswagen convertible beetle with a very angry looking girl sitting in the drivers seat.
