"So what exactly is the point of this little excursion?" Meg grumbled as they walked through the department store.

"Too much testosterone back there," Clara answered. "Also to kill time."

"And why exactly did I need to come along?"

"Girl bonding time," Clara shrugged. "Plus, with you having been brought back from the dead, I figure a little help in replenishing your wardrobe would be lovely and I can now say I've been shopping in America."

"I don't need help," Meg muttered. Ryse giggled. Her mother was always a bit on the prickly side when it came to shopping. "And I don't need the bonding time."

"Sure you do," Clara argued. "From the looks of it, you'll be spending a lot of time with those lovely boys back there and you not only need to soak up as much estrogen as you can before we go, also, maybe, get to know you're daughter a bit."

Meg huffed, "No offense Ryse, but I'd much rather just stay holed up back at the bunker than be out in the open. Crowley could be out looking for me, not to mention any other demons wanting to climb the ladder. Much safer where I can actually be protected."

"I got your back," Ryse smiled.

"Lovely," Meg rolled her eyes. "You willing to kill there sweetheart?"

"Of course," Ryse answered. "If there was one thing I learned that was the most important, it's to do anything and everything to protect family."

"Yup, you definitely hang out with the Winchesters too much," Meg muttered. "Remind me not to have them babysit you so much."

"When exactly am I supposed to remind you of that?" Ryse chuckled. "By the next time we meet, I won't know any of this because I'll be but a wee bitty baby."

"Yea, when is that anyway?" Meg asked raising an eyebrow at her.

"Can't tell you," Ryse shook her head.

"Listen, I don't really care," Meg said waving a hand, "I'm more worried about how much longer the honeymoon's going to last. Am I actually going to get to enjoy myself for a while at least?"

"Beats me," Ryse smiled. Meg rolled her eyes again. "Hey, I'm gonna find the restroom. I'll be right back."

"Alright," Clara said as Ryse skipped off. "Sweet kid."

"Yea," Meg said. "Remind me to ask for a maternity test when she comes back."

"You're not that bad of a person."

"Used to be," Meg shrugged.

"Love does funny things to us all," Clara smiled as Meg preoccupied herself with looking through the clothes racks. "Former demon or no, the Doctor wouldn't have gone through the trouble of helping you if he didn't think you were worth it."

"Oh yea?"

"Yes." Someone bumped into Clara from behind. "Hey."

"So sorry," the man replied as two more appeared behind Meg.

"Shit," Meg whispered when she noticed what was happening.

Ryse returned a few minutes later to the spot where she had left Clara and her mom and looked around. They were nowhere to be found. Ryse shut her eyes and used a few of her Uncles' favorite curses before looking around for any sort of clue. They could have just moved off, but something was telling her that wasn't the case.

On the ground she found a clip she knew belonged to Clara. She grabbed it tightly in her hand and tried to get her powers to tell her something, anything. Luck was on her side as a vision flashed before her eyes. Not a long one, but enough to know the women had gotten captured, exactly as Meg had predicted.

"Miss, is there something I can help you with?" a store employee asked having seen Ryse just standing there.

"Um, no, just remembered, left the wallet at home," Ryse said before turning heel and walking out of the store. It wasn't until her feet hit pavement that she teleported herself back to the bunker. She slammed her fist onto the door, knocking loud enough that someone would unlock it for her. A minute later, the door opened and Sam appeared behind it.

"Ryse? What are you doing back? Where's Meg and Clara?" Sam asked as she pushed passed him. "Where's the fire?"

"Where's the Doctor? Is he in the TARDIS?" Ryse asked running down the steps, Sam running after her.

"Ryse, what's wrong?" Sam asked hurrying after her. She didn't answer, just hurried up to the TARDIS and knocked.

"Did someone say Ryse was back?" Dean asked poking his head out from the kitchen area, Castiel on his heels.

"Uh, yea," Sam said pointing at the TARDIS. The door opened a second later.

"Turn your scanner on," Ryse ordered shoving her way past him and into the TARDIS.

"Um, hello to you too. Lovely of you to visit," the Doctor greeted, confused. "Now what are you doing to my ship!? Again?"

Ryse had started pushing buttons, not knowing what it was she was pushing, "Then you come turn your scanners on! We gotta find them."

"Find who?" the Doctor asked as her Uncles and Castiel walked into the TARDIS.

"Clara and Meg," Ryse said pausing to take a breath.

"What do you mean we have to find them?" Dean asked, "Where the hell are they?"

"They got kidnapped or captured, I don't know. I went off to the bathroom, came back and they were gone. I found Clara's clip and got a vision that they were taken."

"Taken by who?" Sam asked.

"Angels."

"What do angels want with Clara and Meg?" Dean growled.

"Unless it's the same angel that saw Clara and I with you two and who are you known for hanging around with?" Ryse asked as the Doctor started hitting buttons. The screen on the console lit up.

"Son of a bitch," Dean growled.

"Exactly," Ryse said. "Now please, can you lock onto Clara or something to get their location? Anything?"

"I can try," the Doctor said as he continued to hit buttons and pull switches.

"Where's Castiel?"

Meg spit in the angels face, "I told you, I don't know."

"And I don't believe you," he said leaning down closer to her. "I suggest you tell us before we start taking it out on your friend."

"She doesn't know anything either," Meg said. "Leave her alone."

"Start being honest and maybe we will."

She heard Clara squeal a bit in pain, not able to see what was going on behind her. Meg tried to adjust the ropes that were holding her. She'd been through worse and while she wasn't sure the limits of her body right now, she knew Clara's were probably not up to any form of torture these guys had coming. Meg racked her brain trying to think of a way to get them out of this. A scream filled the room.

"Fine, fine," Meg said. "What do you want to know?"

"Your friend was seen with the Winchesters-"

"Yea, she's new, doesn't know any better," Meg smirked.

"Is the angel with them?"

"How am I supposed to know?"

"You were with this girl and the teenager that I saw them with. Am I really supposed to believe that you haven't been with them as well?"

"Listen, I just happened to bump into them at the store-"

"You already admitted to knowing the girl. Where are the Winchesters?"

"Playing house somewhere probably. Trying not to start another apocalypse," Meg shrugged. "How am I supposed to know? I don't have a tracker on them."

"Are they working with the angel Castsiel?"

"They don't really work with anyone seeing as people they normally team up with end up dead at some point."

"That doesn't answer my question. I'll ask one more time," the angel said brandishing his blade. Meg stared up at him wishing she had some form of her powers even though they probably wouldn't mean a thing at this point. "What are you anyway? You're not exactly human."

"I'm not exactly anything at this point there tree-topper," Meg muttered. The third angel that had helped to snag them walked in the room held out a phone to the one that had been doing the interrogating.

"He wishes to speak with you." The interrogator took the phone and walked away, the other two angels following since Meg and Clara were both tied up. They shut the door, closing them into the dark room.

"Hey Oxford," Meg said over her shoulder, "How you holding up?"

"Not having so much fun anymore," Clara muttered in response. "I never would've thought angels would be such..."

"Dicks? Yea, and they say demons are bad," Meg sighed. "At least we don't hide behind any sort of fluffy ideas. We're up front with what we are and do."

"Think they're coming to get us?"

"Oh I'm sure that's the first thing Ryse is figuring out how to do," Meg said though not sure she fully believed it herself. What help would anyone be in trying to find them really, but why get Clara's hopes down. Who knows what these featherbrains had planned for them if they didn't start giving over information. They may even come back and start on Clara instead and that was something Meg couldn't let happen, the thought shocking her. "Damn it..."

"What?"

"Nothing, just wish they'd hurry the hell up," Meg covered, not wanting to tell Clara that her humanity was starting to show. She used to be a big tough demon after all.
