"What do you mean you can't find them?" Ryse snapped. She had just woken up in her room. It seemed she had passed out shortly after the Doctor had started running his scanners, too much energy used at once again.

The Doctor rubbed his face, "The TARDIS can't pick up their signal. This whole universe is messing with her controls and there isn't anything I can do."

"Why is it I have to do everything!?" Ryse yelled. She held out a hand which had started glowing and she could feel here eyes flick to black.

"Ryse..." she heard the Doctor's say, warning in his voice. She felt her wings open up, the one closest to the Doctor hitting him, knocking him over.

"Hey now," she heard her Uncle Dean, who had been watching from the railing, say as he took a step towards her. "Why don't we all just take a step back-"

"No!" Ryse snarled.

"And why the hell not?" Dean asked her calmly as she turned her black gaze on him. Her dad and Uncle Sam were also watching calmly from the side.

"Because," Ryse said, her lip trembling, "It was my responsibility to watch out for them. I was the only one capable of doing so out of the three of us and I failed."

They all stared at her as she tried to stop the tears from falling. Dean took a few more cautious steps towards her, until he could put a comforting hand on her shoulder, "Listen kid, don't do that to yourself. It wasn't your responsibility to protect everyone. We're gonna find them, so just calm yourself down."

"Dean's right Ryse," Sam agreed. "Besides, they can't have gone too far, especially if Meg was fighting them the whole way."

"Which knowing Meg she was," Dean muttered. "Wouldn't be surprised if they ganked her for the hell of it…" Everyone turned to glare at him. He shifted uncomfortably under their gazes, "What? Obviously they didn't cuz kid's still here."

"Doc," Sam said stepping up to the console. The Doctor looked over at him. "Couldn't you just do that thing you did when we went to get Meg?"

The Doctor smacked himself, "Yes, yes of course. Ryse!"

"You want the whole hand this time?" Ryse asked shooting a glare at him.

"Ryse," Castiel said, his voice firm and holding no patience. Ryse rolled her eyes and held out a finger.

"Gotta love the dad voice," Dean chuckled. "Works every time."

"Shut up Uncle Dean…" Ryse muttered, wincing as the Doctor pricked her finger and placed it on the scanner, hitting some buttons.

"Yea Dean," Sam smirked, "If I remember correctly, the dad voice worked on you too." Dean glared at his brother.

"Hold tight, we got them," the Doctor said throwing a lever. They all waited expectantly for the TARDIS to start moving. When nothing happened, Ryse turned to look at the Doctor again who was giving the moniter a confused look.

"We're not moving," she said through clenched teeth.

"Yes, yes slight problem," the Doctor said starting to hit buttons. "Give me a moment. I can fix it." Ryse growled at him before stomping off and slamming the door to the TARDIS as she exited. "I do not miss those tanturms."

"Should someone go get her?" Sam asked.

"No, let her go," the Doctor said as Castiel paused in his movement towards the door. "Let her calm down, by then I should be able to have this up and going."

There was a knock on the TARDIS door a few minutes later before Kevin poked his head inside, "So I'm suppose to pass along a message."

"What's up Kev?" Dean asked.

"Now remember the phrase 'don't kill the messenger'? That implies right now."

"Out with it already."

Kevin cleared his throat, "Uh well, Ryse said she'll see you all whenever it is you decide to show up."

"What the hell's that supposed to mean?" Dean snapped.

"I don't know," Kevin said.

"Kevin, where is she?" Sam asked.

"I don't know," Kevin said. "She came shooting out of here like a bat outta hell, grabbed a jug of holy oil from storage, found me in passing and left."

"Holy oil?" the Doctor asked looking between them all. "What would she be doing with that?"

Realization crossed Dean and Sam's face and the both cursed. Sam hurried up to the Doctor, "Does your scanner show the location of the girls?"

"Well ye- Oh no," the Doctor gasped looking down. "She went after them."

"Son of bitch..." Dean growled. "Sammy, I'll meet you at the car!"

"Doc, I need that location," Sam said as Dean ran out of the TARDIS, shoving passed Kevin, Castiel following him.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Dean asked when he noticed Castiel was following him.

"With you, you're going to need all the help you can get."

"No can do Cas, I'm sorry, but you have to stay with the Doc. Help him get the escape pod to where it needs to be," Dean said grabbing his keys and continuing to the garage. Castiel grabbed him.

"I'm going with you." Dean looked up at him. "That's my daughter and my..well whatever Meg is. Ryse can't exactly use any angel weapons against them and that's about the only thing that's going to kill them. I'm going with you."

"Fine," Dean growled. "Don't go getting yourself killed."

"I don't plan on it."

"So when do you think they're going to come back and finish us off?" Clara asked.

"Not a clue," Meg huffed, still trying to get out of her restraints. She did have to say, she was glad they didn't realize what she was and put any demon traps on anything before tying them up. Of course, that didn't mean crap seeing as she didn't have her powers anyway. She wasn't sure what she hated worse at the moment, being stuck alive but powerless or dead and stuck back where she was. "Do you have anything on you that can cut through these cords?"

"Sorry, no," Clara replied, "I left my rope cutter in my other dress."

Meg rolled her eyes, not that the stress of the situation didn't warrant some form of sarcasm. Oh how she wished she could just smoke out. She continued to try to pull at her bindings somemore, but froze when the door knob started turning. She got a glimpse of light flicker and someone in a black hoody rush into the room and shut the door. She watched as the figure bent down and poured some sort of liquid in front of the door and light it on fire.

"If you're going to burn us alive, wouldn't it be better to be on the other side of that door?" Meg asked the figure as they stood up and lowered the hood and turned to look at them. "Great, it's you."

"Yea, it's me," Ryse sighed coming over to them to untie them. "Why did they not put you in a devil's trap?"

"I was asking myself the same question until I realized it may be to my advantage later." Ryse gave her a look. "Ok fine, it doesn't matter if I'm in one or not. My powers are shit right now. Where's the rest of the cavalry?"

"Um, coming," Ryse said avoiding looking at her as she finished untying her. "They weren't moving like I wanted them to, so I came ahead."

"Did you tell them you were coming ahead before you came ahead?" Clara asked as Meg stood up and looked around the room.

"Kevin was going to tell them," Ryse shrugged.

"My question is," Meg said watching the flames lick at the door, "How the hell you expect to get us out of here now that we're barricaded in here with holy fire?"

"There's a window behind you," Ryse said pointing.

"And you're plan after that?"

"Um, run as fast as you can?"

"Couldn't you just zap us back to the bunker?" Clara asked.

"Not all three of us…" Ryse said walking over to the window and lifting it open. She poked her head outside and was thankful to see a tree nearby they could climb down. "Come on, follow me."

"Did you have a plan in mind?" Meg asked as Ryse helped Clara out the window.

"By plan you mean just kinda making things up as we go?" Ryse asked. Meg glared at her. "What do you want me to do exactly? They were taking their good old time getting here. I figured I'd just come get you guys becuase who knew what was happening and they could catch up."

"So all you came armed here with is a jug of holy oil?" Meg scoffed. "Great, my savior." Ryse huffed and went to say something. "Get your ass out the window before I throw it. We'll figure this out when I don't have angels on my ass."

Ryse rolled her eyes and started to do as she was told until an idea struck her. She turned to look at the door, knowing that the angels were going to find a way out sooner or later. Instead of crawling towards the tree, she transported herself to the front door, knowing thats where they were going to come out of sooner or later. She could only imagine the curses coming out of her mother's mouth now, but figured she would deal with it when the time came. She grabbed the pocket knife out of her back pocket and cut across her palm, cupping her hand so the blood would pool there. Dabbing a finger from the opposite hand, she started hastily scrawling a banishing sigil on the post of the porch. She waited for the door to open so she could blast the angels wherever it was they went now that they couldn't go to heaven.

She smiled when she heard the commotion inside and the footsteps coming down the steps inside. A moment later the door opened and three pairs of angry eyes glared at her. She gave them a cocky little wave before activating the sigil. A bright light erupted and soon she was standing on the porch by herself. Pleased with herself, she skipped off the porch and looked around for Clara and Meg. They came around the house a moment later.

"Where the hell did you go?" Meg snapped. "Don't just disappear like that."

Ryse shrugged, "Though of a better plan. Let's go find a phone so we can call-"

"What was the better plan?"

"I banished them," Ryse said showing them her bloody palm. Meg raised an eyebrow at her in question. "Dad taught me sigils and wards and junk."

"Great, good for you. Why the hell didn't you do that to begin with?" Meg scoffed as they started walking.

"Becuase I didn't exatly think of it at the time," Ryse replied. Meg mumbled under her breath.

"Where are we going?" Clara asked after they walked a block.

"There's a hotel with a diner down the road a bit. I know it's not as far away as I'd like us to get, but it'll serve it's purpose until the calvalry arrives," Ryse explained. "We can also use a phone once we get there unless one of you has one?"

"Mine's back in the TARDIS," Clara said as Meg shook her head.

"Ok then," Ryse nodded, "As soon as we get a room, we'll call. Are you both ok?"

"I've been through worse," Meg shrugged. "Oxford?"

"Few cuts," Clara said.

"We'll get those cleaned up too," Ryse said grabbing Clara's hand. Clara gave her a smile. "Too bad dad doesn't have his powers here. He'd heal you up in a heartbeat."

"Does he have them where you're from?" Meg asked. Ryse refused to look at her. "He does, doesn't he? Well that's good at least. Something to look forward to. What about me? Do I have mine?"

"Spoilers mother-dearest," was all Ryse replied as they walked. Clara lip twitched in a smile, remembering someone else the Doctor mentioned to her once who used that exact phrase.

"Hold up," Meg said stopping as she looked down an alley. "I got a better idaea."

"Yea, what's that?" Ryse asked as her mother got a mad gleam in her eye.

"Why don't we meet them halfway?" Meg smirked. "I'm sure they're already on their way here. Why wait around when we can just hotwire a junker and meet them on the road?"

Ryse scrunched her face as she weighed the idea before nodding in consent, "Fine, but the first gas station we see, we're pulling over so I can call them."

"Deal."
