"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Dean said into his phone cutting Ryse's explanation off. "Slow down. What's this now?"

Ryse huffed into the other line, "I got mom and Clara out. It was easier than I thought. Mom hotwired a car and we're headed down the highway back towards the bunker. We're at a Gas & Sip currently so that I could call you."

"Well that's just great. Where's this Gas-n-Sip?" Dean huffed.

"It's-" There was a muttering going on in the background before Ryse came back on her end, "Nevermind. You need to meet us in Caribou, Wyoming."

"What!? Why the hell would we meet you there?" Dean shouted causing Sam and Castiel to look at him.

"Mom just showed me a newspaper. Biker gang was killed and the way they said they were attacked looks like the work of some angels," Ryse said. "We'll meet you there."

"No, no way," Dean said pulling over to the side of the road and slamming the car in park. "We're not meeting you anywhere."

"But Uncle Dea-"

"Kid, get back to bunker," Dean huffed. "We'll go check it out ourselves. You just go back to the bunker with your mom and Clara. We'll check it out and then meet you all back there."

"Fine," she sighed before hanging up on him. Dean rolled his eyes as he put his phone away, putting the impala into gear and making a wide turn to head back in the direction of the highway.

"What's going on?" Sam asked.

"Apparently there's some angel activity in Caribou, Wyoming. Group of bikers got smited by the sounds of it," Dean explained.

"What about the girls?" Castiel asked from the backseat.

"Girls are going back to the bunker. Meg hotwired a car so they're mobile."

"So if you ladies are ready," the Doctor said before patting the TARDIS, "She's all fueled up and ready for some time travel and universe jumping."

Ryse and Clara exchanged looks, before Ryse shifted uncomfortably where she was standing. Clara looked from her to the Doctor, "I think it best if we make sure the others get back ok before we go."

"Obviously they get back ok," the Doctor grumbled. "Otherwise Ryse would have a few holes in her time. Besides, I'm sure they get in more trouble between now and then and th-"

"Yes, yes," Ryse huffed, "But I'd still like to make sure they make it back in one piece this time. That's some risky business they're checking out and I don't quite remember this in the stories I've heard."

"Fine!" the Doctor growled, "But the second they get back, it's good-bye and we're gone." They watched him stomp off before Meg chuckled.

"Is he always grumpy like that?"

"He's not grumpy…He doesn't like to stay put in places too long," Clara said crossing her arms.

"I don't know about you two, but I'm going to nap. Wake me when they get back?" Ryse asked yawning.

"Count on it," Clara smiled. Ryse waved and walked off to the room she had been sleeping in. Clara turned to Meg, "So what shall we do while we wait for them to get back?"

Meg huffed, "I don't know Oxford-"

"Clara."

"Whatever," Meg said rolling her eyes. "Still kinda adjusting to the whole being alive thing here. Wishing I had my powers."

"You could always have the Doctor do another scan?" Clara offered. Just then. They heard a voice yell from somewhere. "What was that?"

"Not sure," Meg said looking in the direction the noise had come from. "Sounds like it was coming from back that way. Shall we?"

"After you," Clara smiled. She followed Meg back to where she knew there were more book shelves. Meg stopped towards the middle of the room and looked around. "Looks empty."

"Seems that way doesn't it," Meg said scanning the shelves and the walls as Clara found a light switch. Meg checked between the shelves and shrugged at Clara before nodding to leave the room. As they go to leave the room, Clara just missed bumping into Kevin.

"Oh hey," he said once he was over being startled. "What are you two up to?"

"Could ask you the same question prophet boy," Meg replied.

"I was just coming back to check something."

"What something is that?" Meg asked crossing her arms.

"Uh well," Kevin said glancing quickly around the room before his eyes landed on the back shelving unit, "Just checking some book references. The angel tablet is almost completely decoded, but it's in a dead language so I'm trying to see which dead language-"

"Ok, ok," Meg said holding up her hand, "Please, spare us the boring details. Come on Clara."

"Where are we going?" Clara asked following Meg back down the hall.

"You're the one who suggested to have the Doc do another scan," Meg drawled. "What else am I supposed to do with my time? Besides, I want my powers back."

The Doctor was just coming out of the TARDIS, a book in his hand. He smiled at them both, "Oh hello there. Just giving Kevin some reference material here. What are you lot up to?"

"Powers are still wacky," Meg sighed. "Care to do one of your scan things?"

The Doctor clapped his hands together, "Yes, yes of course. Come. Then maybe you can help me out with something."

"What's that?" Meg asked as they followed the Doctor into the TARDIS.

"I'd like to go check those other planes out before we head off. I'm curious to see how they function."

"What planes are these that you're referring to?" Meg asked.

"Those you refer to as heaven and hell, maybe even that purgatory place," the Doctor said waving his hands around like it was no big deal.

Meg laughed, "Real funny." The Doctor gave her a serious look as he finished pushing buttons. "Oh...you mean it. You do realize the places you want to visit are not the most wanted vacation destinations right? They're all occupied by things that will want to tear you to pieces."

"Which is where you come in," the Doctor said smiling at her.

Meg shook her head, "Nah-uh, nope. Sorry, no can do. Just got back, don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I like living and with my powers not working it's making it kinda hard to keep doing just that. Gonna have to pass."

"Well, that's too bad, because we've already landed in one," the Doctor smirked.

"If you didn't need to get Ryse home, I would stab you right now," Meg said smiling at him, her eyes flashing in anger.

"Ooo she's so prickly," the Doctor said clapping his hands together as he hurried over to the TARDIS door.

"Doctor," Clara called pulling his attention back to the two women. He looked at her expectantly. "Having been with Sam and Dean, I really don't feel like it's wise going out that door without some sort of protection with us."

"That's where Meg comes in. I've said this already."

"And I've told you Doc, the powers ain't working," Meg grumbled back.

"They should be. The residual vortex energy is almost gone. They should be working much better now. In fact, I believe your eyes are black. That should be a sign shouldn't it?"

"Eye color doesn't mean a damn thing," Meg said stepping closer. She held up a hand and closed into a fist. She smirked when the Doctor grabbed his chest and bent over, gasping for air.

"What are you doing?" Clara asked, concern in her voice as the Doctor fell to his knees. "Meg!?"

Meg laughed and relaxed her fingers, "Hey, guess he's right. Let's go."

"What the hell was that!?" the Doctor snapped as he tried to catch his breath.

"Testing the waters," Meg said as she passed him on her way to the door. "Now which one we visiting first?" She turned to look at them both, who were watching her warily. She rolled her eyes, "Fine. I'm sorry. That better? Apologies are supposed to make everything better right?" Without waiting for either of them she opened the door and stuck her head out, "Oh great. Heaven. Joy of joys…I'm feeling all tingly inside."
