Dean watched the thing that was possessing his brother sink the blade into Ryse's stomach. He took a step forward, but was thrown back against the column unable to move.

"Sam what are you doing!" Dean yelled at his brother, hoping to get through to him as he pushed the occupants of the TARDIS back inside and closed the door on them.

"I am not Sam, he is no more," the angel inside spoke. "I played him convincingly I thought."

"Get out of my brother!"

"I overheard you all talking and altered the sigil. It was for the best," he replied holding up a hand to show paint on his fingers.

"For the best!? You killed an innocent girl!" Dean yelled as he heard the Doctor and girls yelling inside the TARDIS.

"That is no girl, it is an abomination. I am sure when I report it is gone, I will still be rewarded." Before Dean could respond, he watched his brother's form grab the tablet on the table and flee the bunker, letting Dean fall to the ground. The Doctor burst through the doors of the TARDIS as Dean tried to get his footing to hurry over to Ryse.

"Ryse!" Dean called to the girl. "Ryse! Come on." He go there about the same time as Meg and the Doctor did. Meg turned her over onto her back as the Doctor grabbed the towel and pressed it to her bleeding stomach. "She's alive right? She can't be dead."

"Barely," Meg replied feeling Ryse's neck for a pulse. "What the hell happened Winchester?"

"Later, we gotta get Ryse ok," Dean said.

"She's barely hanging on Dean," Meg snarled, letting the emotion that was filling her turn to anger. "Doc, can you do anything?"

The Doctor, hands shaking, pulled out his screwdriver and pointed it at Ryse before reading the results the scan had gotten. He shook his head sadly, a tear escaping out of the corner, "There's nothing I can do. There's almost no life force left in her."

"Dammit Ryse," Dean cursed.

"Where's Cas, maybe he can-" Meg started.

"Cas ain't here!" Dean snapped.

"What the hell!? Why does everything you touch get screwed up!?" Meg yelled back.

"HEY!" the Doctor yelled over them. "There's more important things right now! Like Ryse!"

"Doctor," Clara said coming out of her frozen shock. "What if we get her back to her time? They'll be able to heal her then?"

"Brilliant!" the Doctor said. "Come on, get Ryse into the TARDIS."

Meg and Dean nodded before they stood up. Dean bent over and scooped her up carefully, causing her to squeal in pain. "Hang on, kid. Help's on the way."

"Unc..Dean," she gasped.

"Doc's gonna get you home," Dean replied as the he carried her into the TARDIS. "Just hold on. No dying on my watch."

"Wasn't Sam," she managed to spit out.

"I know kid," Dean said as he placed her down gently on the grating near the console. "He tricked us. Dont' worry, I'm gonna fix him."

"I know," Ryse breathed as he eyes slipped closed.

"Kid?" Ryse didn't move. "Ryse? Doc!"

"I know, I know," the Doctor said grabbing him, "Get out so we can get her to where she can get help."

"You take care of her Doc," Dean said glaring at him as Clara bent down next to Ryse.

The Doctor ducked his head as he pushed Dean out the door, "You'll see her soon enough I expect."

Before Dean could turn around, the Doctor had shut the door in his face and he was watching the blue box disappear in front of him. The noise echoing around the room. He ran a hand across his face and turned to see where Meg had gone. He found her crouching over Kevin.

"How's-" Dean started before coughing to clear his throat. "Kev ok?"

"From what I can tell. Pretty nasty gash on his head," she replied quietly before standing up. Dean walked over and before kneeling down he caught sight of Meg's face. There were tear stains down her cheek.

"Were you crying?" Meg glared at him. "She'll be fine. Doc will get her to help in time."

"You don't know that," she replied just as quietly.

"Come on, what happened to the big, tough demon?" Dean said as he knelt down and tried to shake Kevin awake.

"Shut up ass."

"Bitch," he replied, making her smirk at him.

"So what the hell was that about with your brother?" Meg asked raising an eyebrow at Dean. "And where the hell is Cas?"

Dean ignored her as he scooped Kevin's unconscious form up off the floor and took him back to his room.

"Doctor?" Clara asked as she knelt next to Ryse.

"She'll make it," he said not looking at them. "See if you can wake her up, I need to know a date."

Clara nodded at him before leaning over and shaking Ryse, "Ryse, the Doctor needs a date."

Ryse moaned at her, "October 8th...at the bunker."

"Got it," the Doctor said before flipping switches. "Hold on Ryse. You'll be home before you know it."

The TARDIS jolted to a halt as the Doctor ran full speed to the door. He pulled it open and had to skid to a halt when he saw an older version of Kevin sitting at the giant map table in the bunker.

"Quick, what year is this!?"

Kevin jumped, "Holy shit!"

"No, Timelord in need of an angel as a matter of fact. As quick as you can."

"CAS!" Kevin yelled. "They're back!"

There was a crashing sound towards the kitchen and another toward the back library. Moments later, Sam and Dean appeared from the kitchen.

"Where is she!?" Dean spat.

"TARDIS," the Doctor pointed as Dean ran in. "Good ol' girl got us back to the right place."

"CAS!" Sam called.

"We're coming!" the Doctor heard Meg yell.

Clara held the door open for Dean as he carried Ryse back into the bunker just as Meg and Castiel joined them.

"Damn, this is worse than I remember," Meg said stopping a distance away as Dean laid Ryse's still form on the table. "Cas, heal her. Heal her now. We can't-"

"I say this with all the love in the world," Castiel grumbled at her, "Shut up."

Meg glared at him, but kept her mouth shut as Castiel held a hand out over Ryse's stomach. They all waited together for Castiel to finish healing Ryse. The glow faded and he reached forward and placed a hand on Ryse' forehead and closed his eyes. Meg took a step forward and put a hand on Castiel's shoulder. He looked at her out of the corner of his eyes.

"Cas?"

"I did what I could," he said. "Now we just wait for her to wake up. I'll take her to her room at least."

They watched as Castiel picked her up carefully, and carried her back to the bedrooms. Meg watched as Dean and Sam both took seats on either side of Kevin.

"So since Clara and I seemed to have missed quite a bit," the Doctor said clapping his hands together. "Anyone care to catch us up?"

"Gigantor was being possessed by a rogue angel that Metatron convinced to help him in order to get his good reputation back," Meg sighed. "Which, if I never said so, way to go there Dean."

"Shut up," Dean grumbled. "The only one who needed to forgive me did, so shut your trap."

Meg rolled her eyes, "And then you get my daughter stabbed in the gut with metal that she apparently has an allergic reaction to."

"Are we really going to do this?"

"Ya know what? Yes, yes we are," Meg said slamming her hands down on the table. "In fact, I've been waiting sixteen damn years to do this, jack-ass! If you hadn't let some strange ass angel in your brother's head in the first place, we wouldn't have had to deal with the anxiety over the past years of waiting to see if Ryse, who we all love, survives a wound like that! A wound very similar to the one that killed me in the first place! And you thought it was bad having me in his head? O-"

"Will you all just give it a rest!?" Castiel growled cutting them all off as he came back into the room.

"Right, I'm with Cas," the Doctor said pointing at him. "How's Ryse?"

"I did what I could," Castiel replied. "It's good to see you again. Both of you."

"Love to say the same, but-"

"Yes, we know, you just saw us all." Castiel nodded. "I'm glad you were able to get her home."

The Doctor nodded, "I only wish it could have been under better circumstances."

"Well, sometimes these things can't be helped," Castiel sighed. "But she's home now and that's what counts."

"Yes right. And it is safe to assume that everything else has worked itself out so to speak?" the Doctor asked. "Sam is back to being the only one in his head and everyone has their powers back and-"

"Give it a rest Doc," Meg spat.

"And some things haven't changed at all," Dean added glancing at Meg.

"You want round two Winchester? I'm ready if you are. I've got plenty of built up aggression about all the stupid ass decisions you've made over the years. How about the mess af-"

"Meg!" Castiel said, the warning in his voice clear to all. She rolled her eyes at him and stalked off. "Where are you going?"

"To check on our daughter," was her reply as they all watched her stomp out of the room, her boot heels clacking loudly on the floor.

"Way to go Dean," Sam muttered causing Dean to give him a bewildered look.

"What the hell did I do?"

"Dean," Sam sighed, "This hasn't been easy on any of us. You and Meg barely get along at the best of times, yet you're sitting here provoking her."

"That's just how our relationship works," Dean grumbled shifting uncomfortably in his seat.

"I'll go check on her," Clara offered. Castiel nodded his head in thanks.

"What I'm curious about," Dean said a few moments later, "Is how the kid survived a stab wound like that. Most things that I've seen get an angel blade to the gut, bite the dust. Meg for example."

"Dean-"

"I was just using it as an example."

"Well see, I have a theory," the Doctor said clapping his hands together. "See, when Ryse pulled Meg back onto this plane of existence, she filled her with vortex energy from the TARDIS, which the residual energy kind of hung on for a bit, thus leading to the conception of Ryse. Thanks to the residual vortex energy that lead to Ryse, Ryse is also made up of a very small portion of vortex energy."

"Which means what?" Castiel asked.

"Yea, how about English please?" Dean suggested.

The Doctor let out a sigh, "Ryse has a teensy, tiny bit of Time Lord in her genetic makeup. When she was stabbed, that teensy tiny gene kicked in whatever regenerative energy she had in her makeup to keep her alive long enough for us to get her back here."

"Which could also lead to why the sigils and holy water don't work on her?" Sam asked. The Doctor nodded. "That sort of makes sense."
