{Hey! So I was corrected on my inaccurate Italian, which was corrected by maryhead who agreed to help with me with Italian (thank you so much!). Not only that the way I spelled Aries was incorrect it should be Aries not Aires. Also in a previous chapter I got something wrong, Arthur Weasley was the youngest son, seventh actually. Also according to J.K Rowling, Sirius and Regulus' mother was born when her father was thirteen (EW). Warning: I own nothing that belongs to J.K. Rowling and I'm American so if I butcher British English I apologize. Other than that hope you enjoy!}
"Who wants to read next?" Arcturus asked. "May I?" Septimus asked. Arcturus passed the book with a simple spell to the Weasley patriarch. Septimus opened the book and began to read.
Ch. 7 No Walls, No Worries
"Odd title." Augusta said.
The boys' last month with the Dursleys was dull.
"Is it ever fun?" Alice asked.
Now the Dursleys didn't make them do anything in fact they just ignored them entirely, and Dudley was scared to be in the same room as any of them.
Lily looked a bit worried. "That can get lonely." She said. Sirius scoffed at the red head. "The boys have each other." Remus and James shared a smile since Sirius seemed to have completely recovered from the previous chapter.
But Harry didn't let it bug him since he was with Aires and Leo who were having a blast.
"I told you Evans." "Shut up Black."
When Leo's birthday came about it was a lot of fun.
Sirius and Shizuka looked a bit sad. They wanted to be there for Leo's birthday. Liliana smiled at the two of them. "After we change things, you can spoil him on every birthday." She said. That lightened their spirits.
The night before Leo's birthday, Harry and Aries woke up after everyone else fell asleep.
"Why?" Dorea asked.
Harry was working on a small tea cake he was making from a recipe he found in Mrs. Dursley's thrown away cook book.
"Aw." Many women cooed.
Aries was finishing a birthday card he made with his new color changing ink and parchment.
They cooed again.
When Harry put the cake in the oven, he walked over to Aries. Aries looked pretty ridiculous.
Regulus huffed and crossed his arms.
He had a flashlight in his mouth and a colorful smudge across the bridge of his nose.
That caused a couple chuckles.
Above a picture was written: Happy Birthday Leo! I hope it's magical! The picture was of the three of them in their robes holding their wands.
"That's so sweet!" Dorea cooed. Many laughed at Aries' pun.
Aries set the paper aside to let the ink dry. "You ready?" He asked Harry when he took the flashlight out of his mouth. Harry nodded and their plan went into motion.
"Oh! What is it? What is it?" Sirius asked excitedly, jumping in his seat. "Down Padfoot." James said. Sirius glared at his friend.
They silently sneaked up the stairs and into Dudley's room. Aries had a smirk on his face that wouldn't go away.
Many smirked as well. "Should I fear for the fat arse?" Frank asked. "Nah." James said. "I've been wondering something." Remus asked. "What, Moony?" "Weren't we cursing around a two year old?" "Merda!" (Shit!) Liliana cursed. Many paled and looked at Andromeda. When she opened her mouth to speak a not folded in the shape of a teddy bear popped in front of her. She unfolded the note and read it aloud.
No worries about that. We had the R.O.R. specifically block the curse words from any child's ears. No need to scorgify any mouths.
Many sighed in relief.
When the two were done with their final plan for Dudley and had Leo's cake and card done, they slipped back into their room and slept on either side of Leo with smirks on their faces.
"What did they do?" "We'll find out soon ooki wanko." "Huh?" "It means 'big puppy'." "HEY."
They woke up before the Dursleys. They groggily got out of bed and went to their owls.
"I wonder what they named them?" Lily asked.
Harry's snowy owl was named Hedwig after a witch he read in his History of Magic textbook.
Liliana looked thoughtful, and James looked horrified. "He actually read that book?"
Leo's owl was a tall barn owl he named Mirra.
Sirius hummed and Shizuka smiled.
Aries' owl was the only male one. A large horned owl he named Mordred.
Regulus smiled, and Barty laughed. "What's so funny?" Frank asked the young Slytherin. "Regulus' owl is a female horned owl named Morgause, who in legend was the mother of Mordred." Barty explained. Many smiled or were shocked at that.
It was really weird however when none of the owls tried to eat Tawny.
"Really?" Bellatrix asked.
Actually, Hedwig tried once but Mordred hissed at her.
"Huh. At least Ree won't lose Tawny to their owls." Charlus said.
So Tawny is now a friend to the three owls, and not a snack.
People snickered.
Hedwig gave Harry an affectionate nip with her beak. "Morning Hedwig."
"AW!" His mother and grandmother gushed.
Leo just grumbled and stroked Mirra's head. "Tawny still here?" He asked.
Sirius snickered. Shizuka shook her head fondly.
"Yep." Aries said when he saw Tawny curled up in Mordred's cage.
Regulus smiled.
Leo moseyed his way back to the bed with a yawn not noticing Harry and Aries shuffling about the room.
"Oh?" Sirius asked suspiciously, raising a single eyebrow.
"Happy Birthday!" They sang. Leo blinked the sleep out of his eyes. Harry had a small frosted tea cake for him, his first birthday cake, and Aries gave him the best birthday card he's ever had. Leo gave each of them a strong hug.
Their families smiled warmly at that.
"Well let's get ready! We got something else you need to see." Harry said excitedly.
James looked eager at what his son did to the whale.
Aries and Leo brushed their hair and Aries helped tie the ribbon the pale boy from the robe shop gave him.
Sirius and Lucius groaned at the reminder.
"Maybe next he'll give you flowers." Aries said with a smirk.
Lucius paled and Sirius looked horrified. Everyone else just laughed or scoffed at that.
Leo just stuck his tongue out.
Sirius face palmed.
When they all got dressed they waited out in the hallway near Dudley's room, sharing the tea cake.
"What did they do?" Sirius asked excitedly.
"What are we waiting for?" Leo asked. "Wait for it." Aries said.
"Wait for what?" Remus asked curiously.
The three moved so that the wall could easily hide them without obstructing their view. Alarm clocks went off.
James hummed excitedly.
Dudley went to turn his off. However when his hand hit the alarm clock a mouse trap (that Mrs. Dursley set in the house to kill Tawny) snapped on his porky fingers.
After a brief explanation from Lily Evans people laughed at that.
Dudley woke up screaming and waddled out of bed. When he stood up on the floor though he kept slipping due to the old olive oil Mr. Dursley threw away.
And people laughed.
Dudley slid into the wall, but what woke the Dursley couple up was his scream when he fell onto a dozen mousetraps on the unoiled part of the floor.
And they laughed themselves to tears, or until they couldn't breathe. It took several minutes before everyone was calm enough to continue.
The boys ran down the stairs laughing hard. Harry grabbed some food from the fridge and they ran out of number four privet drive with smiles on their faces.
Many smiled and some still chuckled.
They spent the entire day at the park, goofing around, planning more pranks, and had a small picnic. They went back after dark and just went upstairs ignoring the Dursleys like they did them.
Their fathers looked happy. They're mothers looked slightly sad.
The owls went off freely since Mrs. Dursley stopped coming in to vacuum thanks to Tawny, and the dead mice the owls bring back.
"They're just mice." Moody growled.
Harry made a tick mark on the paper he pinned to the wall, marking off the days until they go to Hogwarts.
"I did that too." James said. Many students nodded.
On the last day of August, Harry went down stairs to speak to the Dursleys about getting to King's Cross station the next day.
Many listeners groaned.
He cleared his throat to let the Dursleys know he was there. Dudley screamed as he ran away, and his parents looked at him blandly before going back to watch their quiz show.
"Love your family Evans." James said sarcastically. Lily gave him a swift glare.
"Er—Mr. Dursley?" Harry said. The man grunted to show he was listening. "Um—We need to go to King's Cross station to go to Hogwarts." He grunted again. "Could you—um, give us a lift tomorrow?" Harry took his third grunt as a 'yes.'
"Where'd Harry learn to speak troll from?" Barty asked seriously. Many people laughed.
"Thank you." He said and began to walk away when Vernon Dursley began to talk.
Many noses scrunched up, as if his very mentioning had a bad smell.
"Funny way to get to a magic school, huh? The train… What have all your magic carpets got holes in them?" He asked derisively.
Lily Evans opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by Septimus.
"No they're illegal here in the U.K." Harry said.
The Muggle-born red head blinked.
Mr. Dursley snorted. "Where is this school anyway?" "Scotland." Harry said.
"How'd he know that?" Sirius asked.
Harry remembered all the facts Aries would read out loud from their text books.
"Ah." Was all the dog animagus would say on the matter.
"We just need to be at Platform nine and three quarters at eleven o' clock." Harry said looking at the ticket he had. The Dursleys stared at him. "Platform what?"
James snorted. "Nine and three quarters." He said slowly.
"Nine and three quarters." "Don't talk rubbish"
"It's not rubbish." "But Tuney knows, she's been there." "Evans your sister is evil." "WHY YOU-" "SILENCE!" Moody yelled. That got them all quiet and cowed.
Mr. Dursley said "there's no platform nine and three quarters." "It's on our tickets."
Many were still scared of Moody.
"Barking" Mr. Dursley started "howling mad
"No that's just these two." James said pointing towards his best friends. "OI!" "LOW BLOW!"
you weirdos. Just you wait. We'll take you three to King's Cross tomorrow." "Thank you." "Don't thank me we were going up to London tomorrow anyway, or we wouldn't bother."
"Why?" McGonagall asked with a sharp raise of her eyebrow.
"Why are you going up to London?" Harry asked trying to be civil.
"That's all Lana." Remus said.
"Taking Dudley to the hospital." Mr. Dursley said. "Got to have that ruddy pig tail removed before he goes to Smeltings."
"NAH! It's a great conversation starter." Sirius said sarcastically. His friends gave him two shit eating grins. "Shut up." Sirius said. "What did Sirius do?" Regulus asked. "When we were first starting our animagus transformations, Sirius had dog ears and a tail for a week." James snickered. "Hey! You had antlers and hooves!" Sirius countered. "Idiots." Remus said fondly.
"Oi, Harr!" Leo said as he walked down the stairs. "What Leo?" "Ni emac s'ttog'nirg morf l'wo."
"What is that?" Lily asked thoughtfully.
Leo said as he put his hands in his large pockets. The Dursleys went pale at Leo's words, but Harry just smiled.
"Why?" Many witches and wizards asked.
They raced up the stairs and back into their room. Aries was sitting on the window sill and held an unopened letter in his hands.
"Who's that from?" Regulus asked.
The Gringotts owl
Many smiled at that.
was drinking from the water dish the boys set up before taking Hedwig's' perch. Hedwig shot the small owl a displeased look and ruffled her feathers angrily.
James blinked. "Hedwig has an attitude." He said. "Yes she does dear." Dorea said.
A squeak came from Leo and Harry saw Tawny nested safely in messy knot in Leo's hair.
Sirius and Shizuka winced a bit.
Aries walked over to them and closed the door.
Moody nodded.
Aries opened the letter and Harry and Leo moved closer to read the letter.
Mr. Aries Black
I am pleased to report that we have enough evidence to appeal to a trial for your guardian, Mr. Sirius Black.
Many people cheered. Shizuka kissed Sirius sweetly. Sirius blinked in a blushing daze as his friends mimed puking.
With the signatures from you and your two companions, we will be able to submit the wills as evidence. Unfortunately,
Many people groaned. Sirius whined a bit.
there is a long back up on trial appeals so it may take longer to commence a trial. The trial may not take place until winter as the submission for a trial; finding defense witnesses, a lawyer, and the approval process of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement are rather difficult and/or long processes. No unusual monetary movements or spending to report.
Griphook
Many people had mixed feelings. Shizuka held Sirius to her chest. "Ariehen." (Unbelievable) she spat. Arcturus looked at them. "Ms. Kagawa my grandson isn't a child." "Technically he is." Dorea said. "And you're eighteen." Remus said simply. Many looked surprised. "You're older than Sirius?" Regulus asked. She and the Marauders nodded. "Nandemo ee yan."(Doesn't matter to me). She said hugging Sirius.
Sure enough there were three documents included. Harry and Leo signed it straight away. Aries looked over the document,
Moody nodded again.
he was trying to understand it but it was very complex. He signed it when he was pretty sure that it was what Griphook said it was.
Arcturus nodded as well.
They sealed the documents in a letter and gave it to the owl, which took off with a haughty hoot.
"I want Padfoot out of Azkaban quickly." James said heatedly. "He shouldn't have been in there at all." Remus growled, his eyes a wild gold.
Hedwig gave a displeased look at the disappearing owl.
"Sassy owl."
Harry just stroked her feathers to calm her down.
His parents and grandparents smiled.
Leo managed to get Tawny out of his hair, but Aries had to brush his hair out again. "Why can't you let me do it?" Leo whined. "I can brush my own hair just fine."
"Good question." Sirius said shooting a look at his brother.
Aries shrugged. Mirra hooted. "Even Mirra knows I can brush my hair just fine!"
Many people laughed, Sirius being the loudest.
Harry laughed. "C'mon Lee, you know why." Harry said. Mordred blinked at them before Tawny went to sleep in his cage. Leo pouted. Yeah he knew it was one of Aries' weird ways of showing he cared about them.
"Aw." Many women trilled. Regulus looked a bit bashful.
Still he was a twelve year old boy!
Sirius nodded fiercely at that.
"Pass me your ribbon." Aries said.
Sirius flopped onto the table his friends laughing good naturedly at him.
Leo handed it to him with a sigh.
"I think Leo's done this before."
Aries put his hair in a high ponytail, and made a bow with the ribbon.
Regulus smirked. Sirius gave the book a scandalized look. "Really!?" he asked loudly.
"Seriously?" Leo asked. Aries nodded. Harry laughed hard. "You- l-look like a-a girl!"
A flood of laughter filled the room.
Leo did the mature thing and stuck his tongue out at him before ruffling Harry's hair. Unfortunately though Harry's hair tangled around Leo's hand so they got stuck together.
Sirius and James groaned as Remus laughed. "Third year." Was all Remus said between his laughs.
Aries came to help them after laughing himself to tears.
"Nice." The two animagi said sarcastically.
The next morning Harry got up before dawn and was too excited to sleep.
"I just slept through it." James said.
Aries and Leo were still sleeping. And cuddling him.
Their father's face palmed.
After an hour or so of trying to get out of their newly made sleep-cuddle (Harry swears they planned it),
Many people laughed at that.
they woke up. They dressed in their best muggle clothes (hemmed jeans and tee shirts courtesy of Aries),
The Potters, Sirius and Shizuka shot Regulus thankful looks.
since they didn't want to attract attention in their robes.
"Good thinking." Moody growled.
They packed and checked their Hogwarts list to make sure they had everything. The boys made sure their owls were safely in their cages. For some reason, Tawny wouldn't leave Mordred's cage, and Morded didn't seem to mind it, so Aires kept them together.
"Interesting." Regulus said. Many agreed. "I'm just glad Ree still has two pets." Barty said.
Two hours later (after the boys nothing)
Any good feelings were drowned in the growls and grumbling that washed over the listeners.
their heavy trunks and owl cages were safely in the car.
The mood didn't lighten up.
They got to King's Cross without much hitch, although Dudley was still terrified of them.
Most Gryffindors snorted derisively at his cowardice.
Mrs. Dursley had to bribe him to sit next to them.
All current parents shook their heads in dismay.
When they got there, Mr. Dursley dumped all three of their things onto a single cart. Harry thought this was nice of him until he saw the nasty smile on his face.
The foul mood was back with a vengeance.
"Well there you are boys, Platform nine and Platform ten." He said facing the column that had two signs on it. "Yours should be in the middle, but they don't seem to have built it." He sneered happily.
"YOU BASTARD!" "Figlio di puttana!" (Son of a bitch). "Ondore!" (You motherfucker).
"Have a good term." He said nastily before walking away. Harry stood there nervously, while Leo and Aires glared at the Dursleys. They were laughing as they drove away.
Many growled, yelled, snarled and destroyed Vernon Dursley stand in dummies.
Harry's mouth went dry and he was acutely aware of the stares they were getting thanks to Hedwig, Mirra, and Mordred. Tawny had crawled up Aries sleeve again.
"CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" "Alastor!"
Leo walked to a passing guard and asked for the train that left at eleven o'clock. Unfortunately there wasn't one according to the guard. The guard stalked off annoyed with "time wasting trouble makers."
"No luck." Shizuka said sadly.
Harry was trying not to panic; they only had ten minutes to get on the train.
Many people began to get nervous.
Aries patted his head and Tawny crawled in his messy hair.
"Always said it was a nest." "Shut up Moony." "Make me Prongs."
Aries moved toward the ticket counter and was deciding whether or not he should tap it like the bricks in Diagon Alley.
"NO!" Many adults said.
Before Aries could do anything Harry heard a group of people pass him. "-packed with Muggles, of course-"
"Wizards!" James and Dorea cheered. Charlus and Liliana smiled fondly at the two.
Harry swung his head toward the speaker and saw a family. The speaker was a plump woman with four boys and a girl. All of them had vibrant red hair.
Many looked at Spetimus. "Are they Weasleys?" Augusta asked. Septimus shrugged before continuing to read.
The boys had a large trunk each, and they had an owl.
Charlus smiled at his grandson.
"Lee, Ree!" Harry hissed. The cousins fast walked their way to Harry. "C'mon." Harry said as he struggled to push the ridiculously heavy cart.
Many chuckled.
Leo snickered and Aires rolled his eyes before helping him push the cart towards the family.
Their fathers did the same initial reactions.
The family stopped and they did too. Leo walked towards the lady. "Excuse me." Leo said and the whole family stopped to stare at them. "Uhm… Can you help us?" Leo said staring at his sneakers.
"That'll work." His mother said.
That seemed to melt the woman's heart.
"Told ya."
"Do you need help getting onto the Platform?" She asked kindly. Leo nodded as Harry and Aries pushed the cart forward. "We don't know how." Leo admitted. "You know the Platform right?" She asked. "Platform nine and three quarters." Leo said uncomfortably.
"He got that from you." Sirius said to Shizuka.
"Don't worry its Ron's first year too." She said motioning towards her youngest son. He was tall lanky boy with freckles and blue eyes and his family's red hair. He gave an awkward smile and wave.
Septimus looked curious. That sounded like a son of his…
"Oh, mum can't I go, please?" The girl said as she held her mother's hand. "You're not old enough Ginny. Percy you go first." The oldest boy, who was wearing glasses, marched towards the platform but a large group of tourists blocked the boy's view, and he vanished.
"Bad luck." Andromeda said.
"Fred you next." The lady said to one of the twins.
"Wait." Barty said. "This lady has five children?" He asked shocked. Abarax looked sharply at Septimus. "Sounds like Weasley to me." He said. Septimus went red in anger. "But a girl hasn't been born into the Weasley's for generations." Dorea said, hoping to diffuse the tension. Septimus went back to reading, if a bit more stiffly.
"I'm not Fred, I'm George!" He said. "Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother?" "Sorry George." "Just kidding I am Fred!"
Many people laughed, the Marauders being the loudest.
He said cheekily before running towards the platform column and he went through it like it was nothing. Aries was bug eyed and Leo was gaping like a fish out of water. Then his twin did the same thing. Harry rubbed his eyes and did a double take.
Many still chuckled at the boy's shock.
"Not to worry." The woman said kindly. "All you have to do is cross the barrier between Platforms nine and ten. You three can go ahead of Ron and me." Aries and Leo were next to Harry. Harry was looking at the barrier. It looked pretty solid.
"Muggle disguise." Many adults said sagely.
They pushed the cart forward and picked up speed towards the station column. Harry closed his eyes bracing for impact. The cart stopped and Harry cracked his eyes open. There was a scarlet steam train next to a platform packed with people.
Their parents cheered. Except Regulus who clapped regally.
Above them was a sign that said Hogwarts Express Platform Nine and Three Quarters on a wrought iron archway. The boys shared a grin. They did it.
Many smiled at that.
They went through the cloud of smoke and weaved their way through the crowds of people. Leo almost tripped on some of the many colored cats that walked through their legs.
Sirius would've said something about vicious hell spawn cats, but kept quiet with cat lovers in the room.
Aries was getting a headache from all the noise. Owls hooted disgruntledly in their cages and families were chatting on and off the platform.
Regulus nodded.
They went down the platform looking for empty seats. They passed by a round faced boy who said "Gran, I've lost my toad again." "Oh, Neville."
Alice looked thoughtful. "I like that name." She said. Frank smiled at his girlfriend.
Harry heard an old woman sigh. A boy with dread locks was holding a box that had a hairy leg poking through it. "Give us a look Lee, please." People screamed when he opened the box lid.
"Reminds me of Hagrid." McGonagall said. Charlus, Septimus and Augusta nodded.
They pressed on and went towards a compartment towards the end of the train. The boys put their owls away first. They started to shove and barely lift Harry's trunk into the compartment. Harry lost his grip and his trunk landed on Leo's foot.
Shizuka winced. "Ouch." Sirius groaned.
"Owowowowow!" Leo yelled as he hopped and held his injured foot.
"Sirius does that." James said.
"Need a hand?" A voice said into Aries ear.
Regulus looked worried.
Aries was so shocked he dropped the trunk on Harry's foot. "OW." Harry said clutching his foot.
James sucked a breath at Harry's pain. "Sorry Faun."
Aries looked sheepish before looking behind him and saw the two twins from earlier. "Yes please." Leo panted while shooting a fiery look at Harry.
Sirius did the same to James.
"OI, Fred! C'mere!" The twin said. With the twins' help Harry, Aries and Leo got the trunks tucked away in a corner of the compartment. "Thanks." Harry said pushing his sweaty fringe out of his face. "What's that?" One of the twins said pointing at Harry's scar.
Liliana groaned, her head rolled back to meet the chair.
"Blimey," The other twin said "Are you?" "He is," said the first twin "Aren't you?" Harry looked confused. "What?" "Harry Potter." They said in unison. "Oh, him." Harry
"Really Harry?" "Calm down Dorea." "I'll calm down when I'm dead Charlus."
said. "I mean yes I am." The twins gawked at him.
Liliana rubbed her forhead in exasperation.
Then the twin that scared Aries looked at the two cousins. "So who are your lady friends?" He asked.
"BOYS!" Sirius yelled.
Leo looked appalled and Aries glared at him. "We're BOYS!" They shouted in unison.
"Thank You!" The two Black brothers said.
"Really?" The twins asked. Harry laughed. "They are; they're just girly pretty boys."
"OI!"
Leo looked at Harry. "So NOW you tell people were boys." He accused. Harry shrugged "It's funny." Harry shrugged.
"It isn't." Sirius and Regulus insisted. "Personal experience?" Remus asked with a smirk. He shut up from the two glares he got.
Aries rolled his dark eyes. "I'm Aries Black." He introduced. The twins looked at Leo. "Leo Black." He said with a huff. The twins looked at the two Blacks. "You sure you're boys?" They asked again.
"YES!"
Before either cousin could tell them 'yes' another voice could be heard. "Fred? George? Are you there?" "Coming Mum." They called back in unison before hopping off the train.
The two Black brothers huffed.
The boys sat down near the window, where they could observe what a real family is like.
Many people winced at the end of that sentence.
Their mother pulled a handkerchief out and looked at her youngest son. "Ron you have something on your nose." She said before she began to rub the end of his nose with it. "Mum—gerroff." He whined as he wiggled free.
James, Remus, and Frank nodded.
"Ah—has ickle Ronnikins got somfing on his nosie?"said one of the twins. "Shut up." Ron said. "Where's Percy?" Their mother asked. "He's coming now." The other twin answered. The oldest boy came back with his robes billowing around him. Harry noticed a silver badge with a P on it.
"Prefect." James and Sirius spat at the werewolf who rolled his eyes.
"Can't stay long mother." He said "I'm up front with the other prefects. Got our own compartments" "Oh, are you a prefect Percy?" One of the twins said with an air of surprise that Aries knew was faked.
"What are those two up to?" Regulus asked.
"You should have said something, I had no idea." "Hang on a minute, I think I remember him saying it." The other twin said. "Once-" "Or Twice-" "A minute-" "All Summer."
Many people laughed at that performance.
They said in unison. "Oh, shut up." Percy the Prefect snapped.
"Nice ring to it." James said. "Nothing like Loony Loopy Lupin though." Sirius said. "Shut your cakeholes." Remus said.
"How come Percy's got new robes?" One of the twins asked their mother. Aires bit his lip. Something seemed familiar about what he was feeling and it made his stomach turn.
Regulus looked worried.
"Because he's a prefect." Their mother said fondly. She kissed Percy on the cheek before he left. "Alright dear, send me an owl when you get there."
"That's nice." Augusta said.
Then she turned towards the twins. "Now you two, I don't want any trouble this year. If I hear you've blown up a toilet or-" "We've never blown up a toilet before." One twin said. "Brilliant idea Mum."
McGonagall groaned as the Marauders smirked.
The other said cheekily. "It's not funny. And look after Ron." She said sternly. "Don't worry, Lil Ronnie will be safe." One of the twins said. "Shut up." Ron said as he turned red. Aries was wondering how old the twins are because Ron's Leo and Harry's age, and he's almost as tall as the twins.
"That's pretty tall." Barty whistled. "You're one of the shortest in our year." Regulus pointed out. "HEY!"
"Hey mum, guess who we just met on the train?" One of the twins asked. "Who?" She asked. Harry leaned back into the compartment seat with red cheeks.
Liliana covered her eyes with her hands.
"You know that black haired boy with the two girls-"
"OI!"
"They said they were boys Freddie" "Shut up Georgie; anyway guess who he is?" "Harry Potter!" The other twin answered.
"And so it begins." Liliana moaned.
The red haired girl squealed. Aries and Leo looked at each other weirdly.
Liliana looked highly disturbed.
They seemed to find that mildly weird. Harry had his face in his hands, and Tawny crawled into his lap. "Oh, Mum, can I go on the train and see him, oh, please?" She asked. Aries and Leo went from mild to really weirded out.
"Hopefully she won't turn into a stalker." Sirius said. James paled a bit.
"He's not a thing to ogle in a zoo, Ginny." Her mother told her.
"Grazie." Thank you. Liliana said.
"Is he really Freddie, how do you know?" She asked her son. "Saw his scar and asked him. It's really like lightning." "Poor dear, no wonder he and those two girls were alone. They were so polite." She cooed.
"Boys. They're boys, dangly bits and all." Sirius said heatedly.
"They said that the two girls are boys. Aries and Leo, they said." The other twin said.
"At least they listened." Regulus pointed out.
"Oh, I'm not falling for that joke George." Their mother said sternly. "I know a girl when I see one, and those two will grow up to be lovely young women, mark my words."
Regulus' head connected with the wooden table with a solid thud. Sirius yelled profanities and flailed his arms around. Everyone else just laughed. "Idiota." (Idiot) Liliana said dryly.
Aries groaned and ran a hand through his shaggy black hair. Leo repeatedly hit his head on the compartment wall.
Many people laughed at that.
That got a small chuckle out of Harry and a squeak from Tawny.
"Even Tawny thinks it's funny."
"Never mind that, do you think he remembers what You-Know –Who looks like?" One of the twins asked. Their mother gave them a stern glare. "I forbid you to ask him, Fred. The last thing that boy needs on his first day is a reminder of that night."
"Thank you." Dorea said.
"Alright, alright, keep your hair on." The twin said. A whistle sounded. "Hurry up." Their mother said frantically. The three boys got on the train and their sister began to cry. "Don't Ginny, we'll send you lots of owls." "We'll send you a Hogwarts toilet seat!" "George!" Their mother scolded. "Just a joke, Mum."
People laughed at that interaction.
The train began to move and Harry saw the little girl wave at them, half laughing-half crying as she ran to keep up with them. When the train went too fast for her to keep up she just stood back and waved with her mother.
"Aw." Many women trilled.
Soon they disappeared as they rounded a corner, before houses began to flicker past them. Harry couldn't stop smiling. Leo laughed a bit. "Whatever's waiting for us beats Privet Drive any day of the week." He said with a smile. Aries chuckled as he took a napping Tawny from Harry.
Many people smiled.
Then the compartment door slid open and it was the youngest red head boy. "Can I sit here?" He said looking at them. "Everywhere else is full." He explained. Harry nodded his head. He sat across from Harry. He looked at Harry but tried to hide it by looking out the window.
"Great."
Tawny woke up and squeaked. "Oh, you have a mouse?" He asked Aires. Aires nodded with a smile. "This is Tawny." The red head boy pulled a large grey rat out. "This is Scabbers. He used to be my brother Percy's, before he got his own owl." The red head explained.
"Huh, what a coincidence." Lily Evans said.
"She used to belong to Hagrid before he gave her to me." Aries explained. Leo smiled. "That's Aries, Harry, and I'm Leo." He introduced. "Ron Weasley."
Septimus looked shocked. Charlus was congratulating him for his future grandkids.
He said putting the snoozing rat down. Then the compartment door slid open again to show Ron's twin brothers.
The Marauders looked eager.
"Hey Ron" One twin said. "Listen, we're going down the middle of the train—Lee Jordan's got this tarantula." He explained. "Right." Ron mumbled, in fear that Aires noticed.
"So Ron's got arachnophobia." Septimus said interrupting himself.
"Oh, we didn't introduce ourselves did we?" The other twin said. "Fred and George Weasley. And this is Ron, our brother. Wanna come along?"
Septimus read the rest with a smile.
Aries passed Tawny to Harry. "Can I?" He asked unsure. "Sure thing Aries!" A twin said. Before he followed them, Aries looked at the three sitting down. "I'll be back later." "Bye."
Regulus smiled at that.
they said before the door slid close. "Er—Is Aries a boy?" Ron asked nervously scratching the smudge his mother missed on his long nose.
Many people laughed at that.
Harry laughed. "Yeah we all are." He explained. Leo huffed.
So did Sirius.
"Sorry, but he does look like a girl." Ron said.
Regulus frowned.
"I know I've been telling them for years." Harry said. "And very few believe you." Leo said dryly.
Shizuka chuckled while Sirius groaned.
"Are you really Harry Potter?" Ron blurted out.
Liliana groaned again. Her son couldn't catch a break.
Harry and Leo nodded. "So you have the-the-" "The what?" "The scar?" Ron asked lowly motioning to Harry's forehead. "Oh." Harry said before he pushed the fringe out of his face. "Wicked." Ron breathed. "So that's where-" "Yeah but I don't remember it." Harry said. "Really?" Ron asked.
Septimus frowned a bit but he let it slide.
"Aries and Leo were with me that night and they don't remember You-Know-Who. All I remember is a green light." Harry explained. "Wow." Ron said. He stared at Harry again before looking out the window when he realized what he was doing.
Many of the Blacks rolled their eyes.
Leo rolled his eyes.
Sirius chuckled.
"Is everyone in your family wizards?" Harry asked. Harry and Leo found Ron just as interesting as he did them. "I think so. Mum's got this second cousin who's an accountant, but we never talk about him." Ron said. "Why not?" Leo asked. "He doesn't have magic and is bitter about it." Ron explained.
"That's still mean." Lily said with a frown. Many adults shrugged. "It's the way it is."
Harry and Leo thought that the Weasleys had to be one of those old wizarding families the pale boy in the robe shop talked about.
"Doubt it." Many Gryffindors snorted.
Griphook did say they were an Ancient House.
"True." Lily pointed out.
"I heard you went to live with Muggles." Ron said "what're they like?" "The ones we live with are horrible." Harry said. Leo snorted. "Understatement Harry." He said. Tawny squeaked.
"Even Tawny agrees." "Mousy?"
"Er—I suppose." Harry said. "What part of, they wanted to forcibly get rid of our magic, didn't stick?" Leo asked. Ron gaped at them.
"Don't blame him." Many of the occupants in the room said solemnly. The future parents growled and cursed the Dursleys.
"You're joking." They shook their heads. "That's bloody horrible!" Ron said loudly.
"I agree Ron." Septimus said.
Leo waved his hand at Ron casually. "Chill Ron, were working on getting out of there."
Sirius smiled a bit.
Ron seemed to relax at this. "I wish I had three wizard brothers." Harry said hoping to change the mood and topic. "Five." Ron said gloomily.
Septimus nodded. He was the youngest out of seven, he knew it was tough. Others though gaped at the book. "SEVEN KIDS!?" Septimus nodded. "That'll be at least three generations of that many kids." Many were still in shock.
"I'm the sixth in the family to go to Hogwarts. You could say I've got a lot to live up to. Bill and Charlie already graduated. Bill was Head Boy and Charlie was captain of the Quidditch team. Now, Percy's a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they're funny and still get good grades. Everyone expects me to be as good as them, but it wouldn't matter since they all did it first."
Many looked sadly thoughtful at that. Many younger siblings nodded though in understanding. Septimus winced at the words.
Ron's ears turned red. "You get lots of hand me downs too. I've got Bill's old robes, Charlies' old wand and Percy's old rat." Ron pointed at the napping rat. "Useless old thing. Hardly ever wakes up. Percy got his own owl from Dad when he was made prefect, and they couldn't aff—I mean, I just got Scabbers."
Many adults winced at that, the worst was Septimus who was turning the famous Weasley red.
Harry and Leo told Ron about how they never got anything new in their lives, never had birthday cakes until this year, and how they didn't even know they were wizards. At first it cheered Ron up a bit, and then it shocked him.
"Again, I don't blame him."
"And if Hagrid didn't show up, we wouldn't know how Voldemort killed our parents." Ron gave a horrified gasp. "What?" Harry asked. "You said You-Know-Who's name!" Ron said shocked "I thought you of all people-" "I'm not trying to do anything. See, I don't know anything about being a wizard!" Harry said. "I'm sure you won't be bad, loads of wizards from Muggle families do well." Ron comforted.
"Good grandkid you have here Septimus." Augusta said sternly.
They talked and talked until the candy trolley came by.
Sirius looked hungry.
Harry got up and bought some of everything. Ron went pink eared at all the candy. "Eleven sickles and seven knuts is a lot for candy." Ron explained.
"REALLY!?" Many asked in shock.
"Have some." Harry said holding out a Pumpkin Pasty. "It's alright, my mum packed me sandwiches." Ron said unwrapping one. He groaned.
"What?" James asked.
"What?" Leo asked biting into a Cauldron Cake. "Corned beef. I hate the stuff, but Charlie loves it." Ron explained.
Septimus winced at that.
Harry still held out the pasty. "Go on, have a pasty." Harry urged. Eventually they were all eating and talking. "I wonder how Aries' doin'?" Leo asked around the chocolate frog in his mouth.
"Good question." Regulus said.
Aries walked between the twins, as they traded questions and answers.
Regulus looked thoughtful.
"How do you Know Harry?" The twin in front of him asked. "Grew up together with the same Muggle family." Aries answered. "So what's it like having two other wizard brothers?" Aries asked. "We're a family of seven kids." The twin behind him said. "Wow." The twins shrugged. "Bill and Charlie already left." "What do they do now?" Aries asked.
"Good question." McGonagall said. Septimus looked shocked at the next line.
"Bill's a curse breaker for Gringott's." The twin in front said. "And Charlie's a Dragon Handler in Romania." The twin behind him said.
"AWESOME!" Sirius and James said. Septimus was still shocked. Those were dangerous jobs that would keep them far from home, he was sure Molly wouldn't be happy about it.
"LEE!" The twin in front cheered before rushing towards a boy with dreadlocks.
"Didn't we hear about him earlier?"
"Hiya Fred, George!" Lee greeted. He saw Aries. "Hullo, who're you?" He asked. "Aries." Was all he replied. "Lee Jordan. Call me Lee." Lee said happily.
Regulus smiled a bit.
"Cute lil' firstie, eh Lee?" One of the twins said with a nudge.
Then he frowned a bit.
"You have a tarantula?" Aries asked looking at the box the older boy was holding. The older boy grinned. "Yep, say hello to Clicky!" He said before removing the box lid. Inside the box was a large hairy tarantula that actually made some loud clicking noises.
"So that's why he's called Clicky." Barty said.
"Clicky's huge!" Aries said fascinated. He sure is bigger than the spiders in my old cupboard.
Regulus and others scowled at the reminder of the cupboard.
"Cupboard?" One of the twins asked. Aries blushed.
"Guess he spoke his thoughts." Remus said.
"Uh, yeah. The cupboard I used to—er, never mind." Aries said.
Regulus frowned at that.
He looked back at Clicky. "I'm glad I left Tawny with Harry." He said. "Oh, is that your dormouse we saw earlier?" The other twin asked.
"Yesirie Bob!" Xenophilius said ignoring the stares he was getting.
Aries nodded. "Yep. She was a gift." The twins moved to either side of him. Lee laughed. "Your right Fred, cutest firstie I've ever seen." He said. "I'm not cute." Aries pouted.
His father face palmed.
The twin on his right poked his cheek. "Yes, Aries, you're as cute as your dormouse." He teased. Aries snapped his teeth at him, but the twin was too quick to bite.
The Marauders laughed and Regulus smirked.
"Watch out Freddie, this one bites back." The other twin, George, said with a hearty laugh. "Too right Georgie ol' pal." Fred said holding his hand back.
More laughter and smirking.
Aries huffed and blew some of the messy fringe out of his face.
Sirius did the same.
"Any new plans guys?" Lee asked the twins. "Too many." George said. Aries looked at the three older boys. "Plans?" He asked. "Pranksters these two." Lee said pointing at the two. Aries looked at the two. "What did you do?" He asked curiously. "We did place dungbombs in the corridor last year." Fred said.
"WEAK." The Marauders chorused.
"That's mild for us." George said seriously.
"I should hope so." James and Sirius said together.
"I pulled a personal best this summer." Aries boasted. The three looked curiously at him. "Do tell." George said. "If you wish George." Aries said. The three looked shocked at him. "How do you know I'm George?" George asked.
"That's what I want to know." Barty said.
Lee nodded. "I usually get it wrong half of the time, and I know their family never does." He said.
Septimus frowned at that line.
Aries looked at George and poked his nose with his finger. "Your freckles are different. You have more on your nose." Aries explained.
"CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Moody growled again.
The twins were still gaped at him. "Anyway. The son of the Muggle family I live with is a spoiled, bullying pillock." Aries said in huff. The three chuckled a bit at the sight. "So for my cousin, he lives with me too, I helped prank the turd for brains."
"That was a good prank." "Maybe we can stick Peter in a mousetrap." "BOYS."
"What did you do?" Fred asked. "Well his mother set up all sorts of mousetraps-" "Mousetraps?" The three asked confused. "They're devices meant to kill rats and mice by snapping their spines in half." At that they looked horrified. "It won't overly injure a person, I think, anyway. I put one on Dudley's alarm clock, and another dozen by his door. Harry meanwhile put oil on the floor to make the fat git slip and slide." Aries said smugly.
The Marauders nodded in approval and took mental notes on this.
The twins looked surprised. "Leo usually helps me with pranks though." Aries said proudly.
Sirius puffed up proudly at that.
"He helped me put salt in Dudley's dessert when we were seven, and last year he helped me pull this prank where we put cayenne pepper in his not so tighty -whities." Aries said.
Everyone laughed hard at that. It took several minutes for everyone to catch their breaths.
Leo and Harry didn't mind since Dudley's underpants were the only thing the three refused to wear.
Sirius had a weird look on his face. "So they go commando?" Many people groaned or cussed at Sirius for mentioning that.
The older boys were laughing. "Oh, looks like we got competition this year, Freddie."
Regulus looked shocked that his son was a prankster. Sirius looked proud.
George said. "Yes, but those were rather weak." Fred said. "Well they are cute little firsties." George said. "I'm. Not. Cute." Aries said cooly.
Regulus nodded.
"You know what George, Ariekinns is right." Fred said. "Your right Fred." George said. They smirked at him. "He's adorable." They teased.
Regulus repeatedly hit his head against the wooden table.
Aries felt his eye twitch as he silently fumed. "Leave the kid alone you numpties." Lee said. "Aww, Lee!" The twins whined. "Watch your backs." Aries warned, crossing his arms.
"Reggie, stop." Sirius said. He just got a frosty glare from his brother.
"Oooh, challenging the Great and Powerful Weasley Twins?" Fred asked raising an eyebrow.
McGonagall groaned.
"Yep." Aries said before sticking his tongue out at them. They chatted for a bit more, and Aries bought them all snacks. "You didn't have to." George said feeling bad. "Shaddup and eat." Aries said before opening his chocolate frog.
"That was a Sirius move." James chuckled. Sirius smiled and Regulus looked a bit happy at that.
His card was of Rowena Ravenclaw.
"Nice." James said. "I have six of her." Remus said. "Yeah thanks to your chocolate addiction." Sirius said. "I'm perfectly fine." Remus said before pulling a Honeydukes bar out of his pocket.
He didn't start reading it since the frog decided to fight back, its hind legs smearing chocolate on Aries' face.
"That happened to Regulus." Sirius said. Regulus looked at his brother with a smirk. "Wasn't that the chocolate frog you bribed me with?" Sirius blushed. "What did Paddy do?" James asked excitedly. "He tried transfiguring me into a doll so he could carry me around with him at Hogwarts." Many women cooed at that. "Shaddup." Sirius said with a bright red face.
The older boys laughed, and Aries frowned. "C'mere you prankster –in-training." Lee said before wiping his face clean with a handkerchief he had.
Many women cooed at that, making Regulus' face heat up.
They snacked for a bit more before Aries left to go back to his own compartment. "Seeya Aries!" Lee said. "Hope you can someday rival us!" Fred said. Aries smiled and waved back. His good mood however was ruined when he saw three strangers at the compartment door.
Future parents and grandparents looked worried.
Leo was seriously questioning the boy who thought he was a girl and gave him the ribbon he has in his hair.
Abarax shot his son a pointed look. Lucius ignored him.
The pale boy from the robe shop just tried to be Harry's friend after insulting Ron's entire family.
Many people groaned. "Didn't get that from me." Lucius said. "Or me." Narcissa said.
Then he had to turn to Leo, which seemed to make Harry even angrier. "You're not seriously hanging out with them are you?" Harry clenched his fists. "Leave Leo out of this Malfoy." Harry hissed.
James cheered for his son. Lucius just put his face in his hand.
"What do you have to do with it? If anything she should know about a proper wizard, Potter." The pale boy sneered.
Sirius growled angrily at the book.
"Well since we're here, care to share the food; we've eaten all of ours." "Leave." Ron snarled. "Oh, going to fight us?" Malfoy sneered. "Unless you leave." Harry hissed.
Dorea started to cheer for her grandson.
Leo stood up with Harry and Ron to face off the pale boy from the robe shop, Draco Malfoy, and his bodyguards Crabbe and Goyle.
Many Slytherins groaned.
If Leo was being honest, Crabbe and Goyle were way taller, larger and meaner than most of the bullies back at Privet Drive, and he was scared.
Shizuka and Sirius looked worried.
He's sure Ron's brave enough to take them, but Harry would usually be protected from the fights.
The family members of those mentioned winced.
Then a cold voice that Leo and Harry recognized said "Care to move?" The three turned to see Aries. Harry and Leo paled a bit at how angry Aries was. When Leo gets mad, it's like a wildfire that burns fiercely and violently.
"Just like Sirius." Many said.
Aries right now had a blank face on, but his eyes were far below freezing.
"Just like Regulus." Many added.
"What's a girl like you going to do about it?" Draco Malfoy asked coolly.
"Will he figure out they're boys?" Lucius groaned.
Aries punched Crabbe in the stomach, hard enough to make him stagger. Goyle charged at him like a crazed gorilla, but Aries just kicked him in the knee.
Sirius cheered loudly. Regulus looked shocked.
Malfoy paled beyond normal. Aries just shoved him out, and kicked his lackeys out before slamming the door closed.
Many looked shocked.
Aries looked at the three. "What was that about?"
"It can't be good." Augusta said solemnly. Many nodded knowing about the infamous Malfoy-Weasley feud.
Ron sat down angrily. "If I hear him say one more thing about my family…" Harry looked at Aries. "Malfoy said that Weasleys are poor freckled red heads with more kids than they can afford." Harry said angrily.
"WHAT!?" Many hissed angrily at the Malfoys.
Aries' eyes narrowed. "What else did the albino say?"
The Marauders snorted at the nickname.
Leo looked uncomfortable.
His parents looked worried.
Ron however was glaring out the window to the late afternoon.
Septimus looked at the next line disbelievingly.
"He said Harry should choose better friends or he'll end up like his parents." Ron spat bitterly.
"HOW DARE HE!?" Charlus bellowed. Dorea was seething, and James looked rabid. Liliana was cursing rapidly in Italian, as Shizuka was in Japanese. Sirius and Remus looked ready to kill. Everyone else had varying degrees of anger or shock. Lucius and Narcissa looked ashamed, and Abarax looked appalled. There were somethings you never say, especially when trying to build good connections with people.
Aries was shocked. "He didn't…" Harry and Leo nodded. Aries was about to march on after the insensitive jerk when the door slid open.
"NOW what?" James asked testily.
A girl with bushy brown hair, large buck teeth, was standing there looking sternly at the four of them. "I heard there was fighting down here. Honestly, getting in trouble before we even get there." She said in a bossy voice.
The Marauders groaned. Lily and Severus shot them a dirty look.
"We weren't fighting. That was all Aries." Ron said back.
"Why do you care?" Sirius asked.
"Can we help you with something?" Harry asked.
"At least he's polite." Lily said.
"You might want to get dressed, we're almost there." She said as she was about to leave. "Oh by the way" she said as she popped he head back in "you've got a dirt mark on your nose." She said to Ron before she left.
"I don't think they'll get along." Augusta foreboded. Many nodded.
Ron began to furiously rub his nose. "Ok, who is that?" Aries asked taking a seat.
"Excellent question." McGonagall said.
"Hermione Granger. Apparently she read all about Harry.
"WHY?" James asked nervously.
And she was snubbing Ron for a prank the twins played on him."
"That's pretty mean." Shizuka said with a frown. "The prank or the snubbing?" James asked. "Answer two."
Leo said taking a Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Jelly Bean. "ACK!" Leo spluttered before spitting the jellybean out at the window that showed a darkening sky.
Sirius winced. Shizuka looked confused, she never had one.
"What flavor?" Harry asked. "Earthworm!" Leo screeched.
Many looked sickly green at that.
Aries laughed. "Fred told me he got booger flavor once."
"Eugh, tough luck." Septimus said.
Ron nodded. "Swears to everyone he did." Ron confirmed.
"Frank got one too." Alice said. "Allyyy…" Frank whined.
"Oh, d'you have chocolate frog cards?" Aries asked pulling his pile out.
Many of the occupants smiled at how they were acting like normal wizarding kids.
Harry, Ron and Leo (after he washed the taste away with pumpkin juice)
"Don't blame him."
all got their cards out and were trading. "Ron, I'll give you my Plytolemy for your Circe."
"Three each." Remus said taking a bite out of a chocolate bar.
Aries said. Trade successful. Harry traded his Dumbledore card for Leo's Helga Hufflepuff. They just sat there chatting and finishing their food. Then a round faced boy came by.
"Who?" Many people asked.
"Have you guys seen a toad?" He asked tearfully. They shook their heads. "He keeps getting away from me!" He cried.
Alice nodded. "My toad used to do the same thing." She said.
Leo walked up to him and gave him a licorice wand. "Cheer up, you'll find him soon." Leo said with a bright smile. The toadless boy sniffled, but returned the smile before leaving.
Sirius and Shizuka smiled.
Soon a voice seemed to come out of nowhere. "Nearing Hogwarts! Five Minutes 'till destination! Please leave luggage on train, it will be brought up separately." That got the four boys scrambling to put their robes on and they stuffed the leftover food into their pockets.
Many people looked nostalgic at their own arrivals.
Ron's were a bit short for him since you could see his sneakers underneath them.
Septimus shifted uncomfortably.
"Oi, Aries I think this is yours." Leo said. Looked like it since the robe Aries wore was a bit short, and Leo's was a bit too long. "Too late now." Harry said as the train came to a complete stop.
Many people looked excited.
They all were pushed towards the doors and out onto the dark platform. It was so dark, and no one said anything. Harry heard the toadless boy, Neville, Hermione said, sniff once or twice. It was cold too, and Harry kept shivering.
His mother looked concerned. James held her hand comfortingly. Neither noticing a sharp look from a certain red head witch.
Then a lantern loomed high over their heads and a familiar voice followed it. "Firs' years! Firs' years this way!" Hagrid said. Many first years looked up at Hagrid in shock or fear. "How ya doin' Harry?" He asked. "Whoa." Ron said looking up at Hagrid.
Many people chuckled at that.
They followed Hargid until—"It's beautiful." Aries breathed.
Regulus smiled warmly.
Many agreed with him. Across a dark lake was a tall stone castle. It was a large castle, with many yellow lights glowing from the many windows.
Many of the listeners looked reminiscent.
Hagrid led them towards a series of boats. "N' more th'n four t' a boat." Hagrid bellowed. The boys got separated however.
Their parents groaned.
Harry and Ron were followed by Hermione and Neville.
People groaned.
Aries and Leo got stuck with Malfoy
More groaning.
and a dark skinned boy with high cheek bones and chilling angled eyes.
The Slytherins looked contemplative. "Sounds like Alessandro." Barty said. "Alessandro Zabini?" Sirius asked. The Slytherins nodded.
"E'ryone in?" Hagrid asked. "FORWARD!" He yelled and the boats moved on their own. Harry and Ron were busy looking at the castle. Aries and Leo were trying to do the same, but Malfoy kept talking
Lucius shrank in his seat.
("I'm sure it's nothing compared to my family's manor." "Shut up Malfoy.")
Sirius groaned into the table.
But thankfully the dark skinned boy kept quiet. Although he kept staring at Aries (most likely trying to decide if he's a he or a she) which was kinda creepy yet polite.
Regulus looked slightly disturbed.
"Heads down!" Hagrid said as the first boats in their little fleet neared a curtain of ivy. Everyone ducked, although Leo had to pull Aries down.
Many people nodded thinking about those who didn't.
They passed through a dark tunnel until they reached an underground harbor. Aries was a bit disappointed since the lake was beautiful and glasslike, and reflected all the sky had to show.
Regulus nodded in agreement with his son. McGonagall smiled at Aires' thoughts.
They all climbed and hiked up on the rocky shoreline.
"I kept slipping." Ted admitted with a blush.
When everyone was climbing out of the boats, Hagrid looked at Neville. "Ey, is this yer toad?" He said holding the escape artist toad.
Alice smiled for Neville. Frank caught his girlfriend's smile.
"Trevor!" Neville cried happily. When he saw Leo, Leo gave him a smile and a wink.
Sirius chuckled. Shizuka smiled.
Then they climbed up a passage way that was carved into the very rock that held the castle. They all followed Hagrid's lantern which seemed to craft shapes with the shadows on the rock walls.
They eventually were led to a large oak door. "E'rybody here?" Hagrid asked.
"Hope so."
He looked at Neville. "Yeh still got yer toad?" Hagrid asked. Neville nodded. Leo gave him a friendly nudge.
Sirius smiled.
Then Hagrid knocked on the wooden door with his large fist. The knock echoed around them and vibrated through the moist rocks that surrounded them.
"That's it." Septimus said closing the book.
