"Who wants to read next?" Shizuka asked. "Can I?" Lily asked. Shizuka tossed the book towards her. Lily caught it with some stumbling.

Chapter 10. Unlucky Day

"Do they ever catch a break?" Ted wondered. A not fell down in the shape of a dog. Nope.

Harry was enjoying his small amount of sleep. "HARRY!" A high pitched scream resounded.

Several people rubbed their ears at her scream. She looked sheepishly at them.

Harry woke up and bolted for the common room as his dorm mates woke up with a jolt.

"Nice reaction." Moody said gruffly.

When Harry got down there he wanted to just go back up to bed. "It's too early to deal with this." He dead panned.

"Deal with what?" James asked imploringly.

Fred and George were leaning over Aries and Leo with gift wrapping paper and ribbons. Aries and Leo were tied up and were trying to crawl their way to freedom like inch worms.

Several people laughed, especially the mauraders. "How come we never thought of that?" Sirius asked. Another not fell down in the shape of a weasel. Because the twins are awesome. The marauders decided that was a declaration of war.

Harry's dorm mates came down, all tired or afraid, until they saw what Harry's seeing. "Really guys?" Ron asked grumpily. Fred and George shared a look before nodding at their brother.

Remus sent a look at the two animagi. They promptly ignored it.

"Where's Vela?" Neville asked sleepily whilst rubbing his eye. Harry saw her talking to Pavarti and Lavender, on a separate couch to the side. He pointed her out to Neville.

"That's nice." Xenophilus said.

"Why are they being gift wrapped?" Dean asked.

"Excellent question." Abarax said in a drawl.

"We're going to return them to their heads of Houses, at breakfast." Fred said. "They must be worried that these two are missing." George cooed poking Leo's cheek.

The marauders snorted.

Harry rubbed his hand down his face. "Fine. Take them."

James laughed heartily.

Harry grumbled before going back upstairs to get dressed. "Harry!" Aries and Leo whined in unison.

Sirius snickered and Regulus rolled his eyes.

"No." Harry said. "Please Harry!" Leo begged with what Harry knew was a pair of watery puppy eyes since all the girls went 'aww.'

James and Remus looked at Sirius who was ignoring them since he was laughing at the story.

"No." Harry replied going up the stairs. "TRAITOR!" Leo whined. "MORON!" Harry yelled back before closing the door. He could hear his dorm mates and friends laughing as they came back upstairs.

So were most of the room's occupants.

When Harry went down to breakfast with Ron, Neville and Velvela, Harry was pleased at Malfoy's shocked look.

"That plan didn't work." James said.

Velvela went to go eat with her friends in Hufflepuff, and Harry and Ron began to dig into their food. Neville tugged at Harry's sleeve and pointed to the door.

"The twins?" Barty asked.

Fred and George came in with two large 'gifts.' One was in a shiny blue wrapping paper with a bronze ribbon, and the other was in yellow wrapping paper with a black ribbon.

People laughed at the use of the house colors.

They walked up to the High Table and set the 'gifts' down in front of Professor Sprout and Professor Flitwick.

"That'll be a shocker." Alice said.

They both opened them, and were shocked when they received the two Black cousins. Professor Flitwick jumped with a loud squeak, and Professor Sprout put her hand over her heart from the shock.

"I bet." Frank said.

They twins snickered as they walked towards the Gryffindor table with a high five, despite losing twenty points each from Professor McGonagall.

McGonagall sent the book a strict look.

The great hall however got a good laugh though. When Fred and George were seated, a boy their year from Hufflepuff marched towards them.

"Why?" Septimus asked with a frown. "Is he a friend of Leo's?" Sirius asked.

Harry, Ron and Neville watched them confused. "Wealeys! What's the big idea?!" He asked with a frown. "Calm down Diggory." Fred said with a wave of his hand.

"Oh, it's Cedric, the boy from the sorting feast." Shizuka said. "Guess he's looking out for your pup." Remus said.

"Two housemates of mine go missing in the night, and you two bring one of them gift wrapped the next morning. You expect me to be calm?" Diggory asked irritated.

"Hufflepuff loyalty." Ted said sagely. Andromeda smiled and Nymphadora giggled.

"Hey we didn't kidnap them!" George said offended. "We just found them asleep in our common room this morning." Fred added, as his eyes narrowed.

"Not the most believable story." Septimus said with a sigh. "But it's the truth." Moody growled.

Diggory opened his mouth to say something when Leo bolted over towards them.

His parents looked questioningly at the book then shrugged at each other.

"Hiya, Cedric." Leo said with a smile.

"That's all he says?" Arcturus asked with a raised brow.

Cedric looked down at the first year Hufflepuff and was checking to see if he was alright.

Ted smiled.

"Cedric!" Leo whined. "I'm fine! I got lost, and Harry, Ron and Neville let me, Aries and Vela sleep in Gryffindor Tower. No biggie." Leo insisted.

"Yeah, no biggie." Sirius said with a snort.

"You and your lack of direction." Cedric sighed. Leo huffed.

"How bad is it?" Liliana asked.

"Sorry Weasley." Cedric said sheepishly. "No sweat." The twins said cooly.

Septimus was hoping Diggory got back on their good side. Angry Weasleys were grudge holders.

Leo started to push Cedric back towards the Hufflepuff table. Leo looked back at them. "See ya later!" He said before Cedric walked there of his own initiative.

Sirius snorted. "He's girlier than you were but I'm sure he's stronger than you." James said. "True." Remus added. "HEY." The dog animagus growled.

Harry groaned as Ron snorted and Neville shook his head. "Can today get any worse?" Harry asked.

"Jinx." Everyone groaned.

Ron and Neville shrugged. When the mail came in Harry got a package obviously shaped like a broomstick. Harry opened the letter that came with it.

DO NOT OPEN PARCEL AT TABLE

It contains your Nimbus Two Thousand

Oliver Wood will give you your

First training session tonight at seven

On the Quidditch field.

Professor McGonagall

"MINNIE!" James cheered. She ignored the looks she was getting. "Please continue Ms. Evans." She said strictly.

Harry was giddy and shared the note with Ron and Neville. "A nimbus two thousand!" Neville said in shock. "I've never even touched one!" Ron said jealously.

Septimus looked worried for a bit, but shrugged it off.

The three left quickly and chatted amicably in anticipation of unwrapping it before their first lessons. When they made it half way across the entrance hall, they were road blocked by Crabbe and Goyle.

Every student groaned. "Human walls." Barty groaned. "I think I broke my hand punching them once." Sirius said.

Malfoy snatched Harry's package and felt it.

James and Lucius went green. "Couldn't the author have worded that better?" James groaned.

"That's a broomstick." Malfoy said tossing it back in a mix of jealousy and spite. Ron couldn't resist.

"Of course." Septimus and Abarax groaned. They looked at each other weirdly.

"Not just any old broom, a Nimbus Two Thousand. What do you have at home Malfoy, a Comet Two Sixty?" Ron asked before grinning at Harry. "Comets are nice and flashy, but their nothing like a Nimbus."

"Comets aren't bad." Lucius said heatedly. He had a Comet broomstick at home and he enjoyed flying on it.

"And how would you know Weasley? I bet you couldn't even afford half the handle. Do your brothers have to save up twig by twig?" Malfoy sneered.

"And the feud lives on." Charlus said. Everyone nodded. The legendary feud has been going on for ceturires.

"I know Longbottom here can't even walk let alone fly."

Augusta looked angry, Alice was going red in the face and Frank had a dark look in his eye.

Harry glared at Malfoy. If there's one good thing about having Aries as a sort-of-brother is that insults and banter get as easy as breathing.

"Ooh, this should be interesting." Barty said.

"Oh, and how do you know that?" Harry asked cooly. "Do you follow them everywhere and take notes or something? That's rather creepy."

"And zing." Dorea said.

Malfoy spluttered before Professor Flitwick showed up by their elbows.

"What now?" Narcissa asked.

"No fighting boys?" He asked in a squeaky voice. "Potter has a broom." Malfoy said quickly. "Oh, yes, yes. Professor McGonagall told me about the special circumstances." Professor Flitwick said with a nod. "What model is it?" He asked Harry.

Everyone laughed at that. "He just accepts it!" Alice said through her laughter.

"A Nimbus Two Thousand, sir. And really it's thanks to Malfoy and Neville that I got on the team at all." Harry said.

"That is so true." Liliana said.

The three Gryffindors fast walked it to the tower trying to hold their laughter back, before it broke like a dam. "It's true!" Harry said. "It was Neville's remembrall, and if Malfoy never threw it I never would've made the team." Harry added.

"So it was all Draco's fault." Sirius said with a snort. Lucius and Narcissa looked away briefly.

"And that makes it okay?" An angry voice could be heard.

"Who is it now?" Sirius whined.

The three turned around to see Hermione looking very cross with them as she stomped up the steps.

"Oh, this can't be good." Bellatrix said.

"McGonagall put Harry on the team. If you have a problem with it, talk to her." Ron said angrily.

"Ron has a point." Septimus said.

"I thought you weren't speaking to them?" Neville asked genuinely confused.

"I guess not." Frank said.

"Yes, it's doing us so much good." Ron added.

"Okay that was a bit rude." Septimus said.

"Bye." Harry said curtly.

Liliana sent James a sharp look.

Hermione marched up with her nose high in the air.

"Okay that's a bit much." Alice said.

Harry was having a hard time focusing on his lessons. He just wanted to go up to the Tower and open the broom he has under his bed, or wander onto the Quidditch pitch.

All the Quidditch players felt his pain.

He absolutely loved the feeling of flying, and wanted to see if it was better on his own broom.

"It is." James, Regulus and Lucius said.

Harry rushed through his dinner so quick he didn't notice what he ate.

Moody rolled his eyes.

He then ran up to the dormitory and opened his package. "Wow." Ron breathed. Neville looked awe struck and Seamus and Dean were trying to get a good look too.

"New Nimbus…" James said blissfully.

It was a sleek handle made of mahogany, with Nimbus Two Thousand etched in elegant gold lettering near the top. The twigs were all sleek and straight, and neat.

All the current Quiditch players were jealous of Harry's new broom.

Harry couldn't stop smiling.

Neither could his parents or his grandparents.

When seven o'clock ticked by, Harry raced down to the pitch and met up with Oliver Wood. Oliver was a burly fifth year who was excited about finding a new seeker after Ron's brother, Charlie left.

Septimus smiled. His second grandchild was about Nymphadora's age right now.

There were large goals that looked like the sticks muggle kids blow bubbles out of.

"I thought the same thing." Ted said. Lily nodded.

"Hiya, Harry." Oliver greeted. "Hi." Harry returned. Oliver then proceeded to tell Harry about the fundamentals of Quidditch, and he demonstrated how bludgers worked.

"Oooh." The quidditch fans hissed.

"So" Harry started "our three chasers are Katie, Angelina, and Alicia. Our beaters are Fred and George"

Septimus chuckled.

"They're like a pair of human bludgers themselves." Wood added.

"True." Many people said.

"You're our keeper, and I'm the seeker." Harry finished. Oliver nodded.

"Why is it that Slytherin is an all-male team?" Remus asked. Regulus and Lucius shrugged. "Most of the girls are traditional and don't play sports." Regulus said. Remus nodded.

"We won't practice with the snitch now, since it's dark now and we might lose it." Oliver said "So we'll use these." He pulled a bucket of golf balls out. "About the same size."

"Huh." Regulus said. He'd remember that for quidditch practice.

He'd throw the golf balls in every direction he could and made Harry catch them. Harry didn't miss a single one.

"Woot!" James cheered. Liliana rolled her eyes good naturedly at him.

"Excellent!" Oliver cheered as they trudged up to the castle when it got too dark. "That Quidditch cup will have our name on it for sure!" Oliver patted Harry on the back a bit too hard.

"Sounds like you Jamie." Dorea said. James nodded.

"I won't be surprised if you turn out better than Charlie! Y'know he could've gone off to play for England if he didn't go off chasing dragons." Oliver beamed.

Septimus looked really interested at that.

"Really?" Harry asked. "Yeah, he was scouted, but he turned them all down." Oliver said before looking sheepish.

"WHAT?" Several people asked. Septimus looked thoughtful. Charlie did love dragons, but it was a dangerous job. He was worried at the thought of his two year old grandson anywhere near one.

"Er, don't tell anyone that! I swore I'd keep it a secret." Oliver said quickly.

"Why?" Several people asked.

Harry had Quidditch practice three times a week, and before he knew it he was at Hogwarts for two months.

"So much time has passed." Shizuka whistled.

He always looked forward to Quidditch practice, and the lessons were more interesting, now that they all learned the basics.

Everyone nodded.

On Halloween morning there was the delicious smell of baking pumpkins in the corridors.

"Mmm, kabocha (pumpkin)." Shizuka hummed. Liliana was nodding along with her.

Harry was excited to learn the levitation charm Professor Flitwick mentioned. He got paired up with Seamus who kept failing to get his feather to rise. He poked it and managed to set the thing on fire. Harry quickly put it out with his hat.

Several people laughed. "So that's what the hats are for!" Frank said with a wide smile.

What was really dangerous though was the fact that Ron and Hermione were paired up.

"Oh, this will get ugly." Everyone groaned.

"Wingardium leviosa." Ron said boredly waving his arm like a wind mill.

Septimus shook his head. How many times did he have to get his sons to kick their lazy bones out and work hard?

Hermione corrected him harshly and Harry had a bad feeling about what will happen when Ron challenged her to do it.

"Never do that." Several people said.

She managed to get it done, first one in the class to do so.

"Not bad." Lily praised.

Harry tried when no one was looking and levitated his feather. He set it down; since he started to notice how Hermione was basking in the praises she got from teachers.

Several students couldn't fault Hermione with that, they did the same thing.

They left Charms lessons quickly.

"Gee, I wonder why?" Barty said sarcastically.

"She's a nightmare!" Ron said angrily. "She thinks she's so great just because she has her nose in a book all the time. It's a no brainer why she doesn't have any friends." He growled.

"Oh, Weasley temper." Many adults hissed. Septimus blushed at that.

A body shoved passed Harry. It was Hermione, and she was crying.

"That was rather mean." Bellatrix said.

"I think she heard you." Harry said.

"No shit." Sirius dead panned.

"So" Ron said uncomfortably "it's true."

Several of the girls and women rolled their eyes. Men. They all thought.

Neville looked between the two of them. "She does seem like that…" He mumbled. "I guess." Harry said.

"But it was still a harsh thing to say." McGonagall said.

He knew Aries usually kept to himself more so than Harry and Leo, but Aries did have a shut off switch and often hung out with them. Hermione just seemed to stick to her books.

"Books can't teach you everything." Moody growled. Many people nodded.

Hermione never showed up for the rest of their lessons.

"Oh dear." Augusta said.

At dinner, Ron was starting to look uncomfortable.

Several of the girls rolled their eyes.

The three boys overheard Pavarti and Lavender mention how Hermione spent the rest of her day crying her eyes out in the girl's bathroom. Harry and Neville looked to see a guilt ridden Ron.

Septimus hoped his future grandson apologized soon.

Then the doors burst open and Professor Quirrell ran inside. "Trolls! There are two trolls in the dungeons!" He screamed fearfully. "Thought you ought to know." He said before fainting onto the floor.

"HOW THE FUCK DID TROLLS GET IN HOGWARTS!?" Sirius bellowed. McGonagall went deathly pale. Everyone was in a varying state of panic.

The Great Hall was in panic. Every student screamed or cried.

"In all my years.." McGonagall hissed.

"Prefects take the students to their common rooms." Dumbledore ordered.

"WHAT!?" Ted and the Slytherins yelled. The marauders paled upon realization. Lily looked confused at them before continuing to read.

"ARE YOU INSANE!?" Aries bellowed. Everyone turned to look at the young Ravenclaw. "Mr. Black?" Professor Flitwick asked. "Half the school common rooms are in the dungeons!" Aries yelled.

Everyone was stiff and pale. "Oh sweet Merlin." Augusta said.

All the Hufflepuffs and Slytherins paled at the reminder.

So were the ones in the room of requirement.

Professor Sprout looked nervously at the students and Snape just shifted his eyes over his house.

Everyone was too nervous to mention Snape.

"Very well. All students stay here." Dumbledore said softly. He, Professor McGonagall, Snape and the now awake Professor Quirrell left to go to the dungeons.

"Please deal with this quickly." Dorea said nervously.

That's when Harry remembered something. "Hermione!" He hissed. Ron and Neville paled. She didn't know about the troll.

"Oh, that poor girl." Anfromeda said as she clutched her daughter closer to her.

"We need to go get her." Harry said.

"WHAT!?" James and Dorea bellowed. Charlus was pale and Liliana was panicking in rapid Italian.

"What?" Neville asked nervously.

"Please talk them out of it Nev." Frank said in a cold sweat.

"Neville, you Ree and Lee need to cause a distraction." Harry said. Ron's eyes brightened as he followed Harry's train of thought.

Septimus was sure he was going to have a heart attack in the next few minutes.

"Then we go and get her, and we'll be back real quick." Ron finished.

"Uh, NO." Remus said loudly.

"Why don't we just tell a professor?" Neville asked.

"EXACTLY!" Everyone screamed.

"The teachers will be more focused on protecting a larger number." Ron said. "It makes more sense to focus on a larger group than on a single lost student."

"That makes sense." Moody growled. It was a logical battle strategy.

Harry nodded, but he didn't quite want to say he had issues trusting adults for help.

Everyone winced.

Neville gulped nervously, but nodded and went to Aries and Leo.

Their parents groaned and hoped their distraction backfired.

Judging by the cousins' looks on their faces, they agreed reluctantly.

Sirius was sure his son was going to grey him prematurely and Regulus was clawing at his chair arms.

Leo started to hyperventilate and shake, making many of the older students worry. Then he flopped onto the floor and Aries and several other students screamed their heads off.

"Oh, Godric." Several people moaned.

Many of the older students and professors were caught up in Leo's faint, Neville's screaming and Aries curled up into a ball shaking like a terrified leaf, that they didn't notice Harry and Ron slip out the doors.

Liliana was going to kill her son. Septimus was sure when this was over, he'll have to bury Ron when Molly's done with him.

The quickly sprinted down the hallways when they heard footsteps. They hid behind a suit of armor and saw Snape rushing towards "Why's he heading towards the third floor?" Harry asked. "Search me."

"The forbidden corridor? Moody asked suspiciously.

They ran down some more hallways when they were hit in the face with a horrid smell. It was worse than dirty public restrooms on a hot day.

"ICK." Many people gagged.

Then following the smell was a large, leathery behemoth that could only be a mountain troll. It carried a club that was twice Harry's height, and looked heavier than Crabbe and Goyle put together.

"It's not in the dungeons!" Many people cried. "Where'd the second one go." Moody asked. Everyone paled before ushering Lily to read faster.

It wandered into a room that had a lock with the pad. "We could lock it in!" Harry said.

"Yes then go get a professor!" Dorea screamed.

As they rushed towards the door they heard a scream come from the room. It was the girl's bathroom.

"She's in there with the troll!" Shizuka screamed.

"Hermione!" Ron and Harry screamed in unison. They ran inside and saw Hermione cowering against the wall as the troll lumbered closer.

"RUN!" Everyone screamed at the book.

Harry darted through the troll's legs and got to Hermione. She was frozen in fear.

James was paler than a ghost and Liliana bit her lip to the point where it started to bleed.

"Confuse it!" Harry screamed trying to get Hermione to move.

"GO GET HELP!" The group screamed.

"Oi pea brain!" Ron yelled as he threw a pipe faucet against the wall.

Septimus was panicking.

It looked dully at him before turning back towards Harry and Hermione.

"NO!" The Potters screamed.

Harry got Hermione out of the way when the troll grabbed Harry by his ankles.

"MERDA!" Liliana cursed. James was petrified in his seat.

It took a swing at him.

Dorea was cutting the circulation out of her husband's arm, but he was too terrified to notice.

Harry dodged it swiftly. "Do something!" Harry cried. "What?!" Ron asked. Harry dodged another swing. "ANYTHING!"

"BUT THEY DON'T KNOW ANY USEFUL SPELLS!" Ted screamed.

Ron pulled his wand out. The troll was getting ready to take another swing at Harry. "Wingardium leviosa." Ron said. The troll's club levitated in mid-air before hitting him square on his pin head.

Everyone waited with a bated breath.

The troll flung Harry into Ron as it came down with a thunderous thump.

Everyone cheered loudly.

"Thanks Ron." Harry said.

"I'm so glad Harry had Ron with him." Charlus said. Septimus gave a weak smile.

Aries was worried sick. Harry and Ron weren't back yet.

"They just knocked out a full grown mountain troll." Abarax said in shock.

Neville was shaking badly and Leo was ready to stab the next worried person with a spoon.

"A spoon?" Sirius asked weirdly.

Velvela was glaring at them as they all sat at the Ravenclaw table. "Never do that again." She growled.

"She reminds me of Moony a bit." Sirius said still working his panic out.

"You could have mentioned Hermione to the teachers." She said angrily. Aries shared a look with Leo. When was the last time they could truly trust an adult? They wondered.

Everyone winced badly.

Then a loud banging came from the doors.

Everyone paled. "You have got to be shitting me." Charlus said.

Everyone paled in a grave silence. SMASH! The door came down with a splintering echo.

"HOW DID IT GET ALL THE WAY TO THE GREAT HALL!?" McGonagall screeched.

In front of them was a mountain troll. Many students were trying to scramble to the back of the room, while the professors raced to get to the front.

"They weren't ready for the troll!?" Dorea screamed.

"ALL STUDENTS MOVE!" Professor Babbling shouted as she ushered students behind the quickly turned over high table.

"That should have happened earlier!" Augusta yelled.

The troll swung its gnarled club sideways, knocking the Ravenclaw table down towards the Slytherin table before everyone could get away.

Everyone paled. The boys were at the Ravenclaw table.

Aries was flung into Zabini and got several plates to the noggin. "Oww." He grumbled.

Regulus was rigid in fear.

He turned and saw Velvela holding her arm in pain, Neville and Leo trying to help get the students being crushed under the table along with several older students.

The Longbottoms and Blacks were terrified.

Professor Sprout and Vector were rushing forward with wands drawn, but there were too many students in the way to cleanly deal with the troll.

Moody grimaced badly.

Hagrid ran up towards the troll and grappled with it. Hagrid kept getting pushed back but he gave it his all.

"Go Hgrid!" Several people screamed desperately.

He kept the troll busy as more student moved quickly. But the troll managed to hit Hagrid hard in the face causing him to falter back as he tried to wipe the blood from his eyes.

Everyone paled at that.

The troll smashed a third of the Hufflepuff table. Aries was horrified to see students go airborne.

Regulus was sure his son was going to lead him to an early death.

Madam Hooch was trying to block the troll, but the scrambling students kept bumping into her, throwing her aim off. Professor Kettleburn was able to graze it with a hex before being knocked over by a wave of panicking students.

Everyone was petrified. Lily shook badly as she read.

The troll raised its club high over Gryffindor table. Some seventh years hit it with a few spells that injured it slightly before it brought the club down. Gryffindor table splintered with a loud crack.

Everyone was speechless in horror.

Then the troll came close to them again. Aries looked up in horror as the troll grabbed him by his long hair.

"ARIES!" Regulus screamed.

He knew what pain felt like, but this HURT so bad! Aries felt like it was trying to take his head off like Dudley did to the neighborhood girls' dolls. Aries felt the troll lift him higher as he scrambled for anything.

Regulus was hyperventilating.

Thankfully that anything was a steak knife. Aries quickly cut through his long hair until he was back on the ground again.

Now one dared to be relieved yet.

Professor Flitwick and Sinistra were trying to stun it, but they couldn't get a good enough shot with all the scrambling students.

Several scurrile curses were spat.

Zabini grabbed Aries and dragged him back towards the High table. "Thanks." Aries panted shakily. "No problem." Zabini said uneasily.

Barty was shaking.

Neville was helping Velvela along when the troll smashed his club through the Slytherin table, sending students in various directions.

Lucius and Narcissa blanched.

If Zabini wasn't holding him back Aries was going to kill his cousin for running back towards the troll.

"NO!" Shizuka screamed. "LEO!" Sirius shrieked.

Leo tried to pick up an unconscious Malfoy as Crabbe helped Goyle limp towards the high table quickly.

Abarax was terrified. Lucius was having trouble breathing and Narcissa was crying badly.

Leo got help from a Slytherin third year and they all quickly shrank back behind the turned over high table. The seventh and sixth years stood in front of the table with wands drawn at the ready. Several began to shoot spells and hexes and curses, before they all did the same.

Several people began to pray rapidly.

With all the students safe the professors were all in the ready. Hagrid was trying to hold the troll steady as the professors shot spells, hexes, and other spells Aries didn't know at the crazed troll. It began to flail around and swing around its club wildly in rage and pain. Soon the troll was down and everyone was in too much shock to celebrate.

Everyone was still shaken up.

Madam Pomfrey was checking over many students. Aries had a bad bump on his head, but he was lucky. Some students had broken bones, ruptured organs or both.

Everyone winced badly.

Velvela's arm was broken, but Madam Pomfrey fixed in in about ten minutes. Aries saw Fred with a bloody head wound, but thankfully he was only scratched. "Go help others, I'm fine." Fred insisted.

Septimus was nervous.

She wandered towards the more serious injuries.

"Please don't be my son." Many said.

Aries wandered closer towards Leo. "Oh, dear" Madam Pomfrey said worriedly. "Is he okay?" Aries asked desperately. "That table did a number on him; he'll need to stay the night along with Mr. Malfoy." She said severely.

Sirius looked pained and Shizuka was shaking badly. Lucius was holding Narcissa as she cried.

Aries looked worriedly at his cousin. Leo looked a bit paler than usual, and he was shaking pretty bad. Or that could be from the fear he felt? Malfoy wasn't fully awake; he kept slipping in and out of consciousness.

Narcissa's crying got louder. Lucius held her closer. Bellatrix looked worriedly at ther youngest sister. Andromeda was holding Nymphadora tightly.

Neville was helping Hannah up as Amelia was being comforted by Cedric. Aries turned around to see the twins behind him. They looked so worried. Fred grabbed Leo, who was protesting to being carried. "You need to get to the hospital wing." George said seriously.

"I don't even want to know the number." McGonagall said sadly.

The Slytherin third year from earlier was picking Malfoy up when the doors opened. Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Professor Quirrell, Snape, Harry, Ron, and Hermione came in to see a knocked out troll, the entire student body terrified, and several students and staff injured.

McGonagall had a guilty look in her face. Where was I during all this? She wondered.

Harry ran towards them with a panicked look in his eyes.

James gripped Liliana's hand tightly.

Ron was being smothered by Percy, who was as pale as a ghost.

Septimus just nodded numbly.

Harry ran towards Aries, Leo and Fred. "Ree, Lee." Harry said sadly. Aries pulled Harry into a hug.

Regulus wanted his son here, NOW.

Leo chuckled before coughing badly. There was blood.

Everyone paled. Sirius broke out in a cold sweat. Shizuka was praying in rapid Japanese.

Aries and Harry paled. "Hospital wing!" Fred yelled as he ran out towards the entrance. He wasn't the only one. Several students were helping others to the hospital wing.

McGonagall winced as she started to tear up.

Students were helping students of other houses to the hospital wing or helping Madam Pomfrey heal them there in the Hall or following the others to the Hospital Wing.

"There's the School unity Dumbledore kept preaching about." Ted said thickly.

Aries flopped down with shaky legs. Madam Pomfrey was healing Hagrid who looked like he would topple over at any moment.

"I hope he's okay." Dorea said worriedly. Several of the Slytherins had some begrudging gratitude towards the half-giant now.

"What about the other troll?" Aries asked shakily. "Tell you later." Harry said. Ron came towards them with Percy sticking to him. "Ron, where were you?" George asked sacredly. "Er-" Ron stuttered.

"With the other troll." Septimus said stiffly.

They all stopped at the sniffling they heard. It was Professor McGonagall. Everyone was in total shock. Their strict Transfiguration teacher was close to breaking down in tears.

"Of course." Several people said sadly. The professor was drying her eyes with a lace handkerchief. The students were like her family she thought.

Dumbledore looked solemn, and Aries was sure he meant it.

Several people shared dark looks.

Snape was limping on a bloody leg and Quirrell passed out again in shock.

"What happened?" Lily asked in worry before continuing the reading.

"I'm so sorry." Professor Dumbledore said with a low head.

"Oh you better be." Abarax hissed darkly. Arcturus had an unreadable look on his face, but all the members of the Black family knew that look meant he was out for blood.

Snape walked towards Madam Pomfrey, and he helped heal some students, or asked what potions she needed. Professor McGonagall was going to large groups of students and checking on them and helping with the healing.

McGonagall sniffled a bit more.

Harry kept a tight grip on Aries' robes. Aries bonked their heads together. "We'll get past this." Aries said. He gave Harry a smile Leo usually gives.

Several people gave wryly smiles.

Harry hugged him tightly. George picked the two of them up in an even tighter hug. Ron chuckled weakly and Percy gave a strained smile. "Guess you two are honorary Weasleys." Ron joked. Harry and Aires shared tired looks.

Everyone just wanted this chapter to be over soon.

The five of them sat down by a wall, being out of the way. "I should go help the Professors." Percy said once he was sure they were fine before going towards Professor McGonagall.
