Sirius kept grinning. He was out of Azkaban! Remus chuckled and picked the book up to read.

Chapter 14. Lost

Leo was lost. Again.

Sirius chuckled at his son's sense of direction. Liliana snickered with James at Sirius' goofy expression.

Leo sighed angrily and closed his eyes. He opened them again and saw Uncle Regulus' reflection in the window glass. He still looked hazy but he was looking more like an actual person than a mist figure. "Where've you been?" He asked in a pout.

"Around I would guess." Regulus answered.

Uncle Regulus rolled his eyes briefly.

And he was ignoring the look his friend gave him.

He tried to say something but Leo could only hear mumbled whispering. Leo motioned towards his ear and Uncle Regulus moved a finger towards the glass. Visiting your father. He wrote.

Sirius went shocked at that. "What?" He asked. Regulus looked sheepish.

Leo was shocked. "You can do that?" He asked.

"Apparently." Arcturus said shifting his eyes to his youngest grandson.

I visit him, you, Aries and Saorise. Uncle Regulus wrote out.

Regulus blushed at the cooing he was getting.

Leo went sheepish. "So why'd you come back?" Leo asked. I take shifts.

"With who?" Bellatrix asked. Regulus shrugged.

"Shifts?" Leo asked quietly. There are others like me who watch over you. But before Leo could ask him who else watched over him, he was pulled out of his thoughts by a loud "Leo!"

"Agh!" Many people groaned. They wanted to know who watches over Leo.

Leo blinked quickly and turned up to see Hagrid. "Hiya Hagrid." Leo said with a smile. "How's yer Christmas been?" Hagrid asked. "Great!"

Sirius and Shizuka shared a sad look. It could be so much happier.

Leo said. He wasn't lying either. He got a sweater and a case of cookies from Mrs. Weasley, a deck of playing cards from Velvela, a small wooden box from Hagrid, a card and Chocolate from Moony, and a letter from his dad! He couldn't be happier.

"He could." Narcissa said quietly.

"How was yours Hagrid?" Leo asked with a tilted head. "Good." Hagrid said with a merry chuckle. "Been having a great Christmas this year." Leo smiled up at the tall man. "Do you need help with anything?" Leo asked. "Nah, yeh go 'n have fun." Hagrid said. "No problem!" Leo said before walking back towards the Great Hall thanks to Uncle Regulus.

Many people smiled or giggled at Leo's antics.

When Leo got to the large wooden doors, he saw a nervous looking Percy talking to the twins.

Septimus frowned. What has his grandsons so upset?

He instinctively hid and listened to them.

Shizuka grimaced at the idea as to why that was an instinct.

"You're pulling our legs." The twins said in an odd tone. Percy shook his head grimly. "I wish I was." Percy said showing the two a letter.

Septimus was really curious now.

Fred spat a curse that Leo decided he needed to remember.

Shizuka sighed before looking at Sirius who barked out a laugh.

"Charlie's going to be fine right?" George asked worriedly.

Septimus grew worried.

"I hope so." Percy said. "He said whoever came onto the reserve knew a good deal of black magic." Percy said.

Many people paled, the Weasley Patriarch being the worst.

Leo sat still. Charlie? He was their brother who worked on a dragon reserve. Did something happen to him?

Many people looked grim.

Leo crouched down silently. He hoped none of them noticed him. He saw Uncle Regulus wander off somewhere and Leo frowned. Where was he going?

"Stop looking at me. I don't know either."

"Black magic." Fred spat bitterly. Leo frowned…he hoped he was Leo BLACK for a good reason.

Arcturus made a face that said 'Really?'

"So someone used black magic on Charlie and stole an egg." George said slowly. "Norwegian Ridgeback, I believe." Percy said. Leo made a mental note to remember that species.

"And I hope they never meet one." Liliana said nervously. The boys had terrible luck.

"I hope Charlie gets well soon." He said. "I'm sure he will, he handles dragons for a living." Fred said. The three relaxed a bit. "Let's go get some food." George said dragging them out.

The marauders shared a brief look.

Leo waited a few moments before going in behind them. "Hiya guys!" He said happily. They all greeted him and soon the twins asked him about plans to get Snape fired.

Sirius laughed loudly.

"I noticed something." Fred said as they walked towards the Great Hall's doors. "Where's your ribbon?" George asked. Leo frowned he hadn't worn the ribbon in about a couple of weeks. "It got melted in Potions. Snape used it to demonstrate how I botched my potion." Leo said with a frown.

Sirius frowned. "He should just cut his hair." James said. Shizuka frowned. Hair is an important thing. Having it cut was a sign of banishment, or rejection.

"Git." The twins said before the doors opened to see the dungeon bat himself walk out giving them all a sneer.

Many sneered back.

"Why he's a professor, I'll never know." Percy said before they all walked towards the Gryffindor table for breakfast.

"Dumbledore." Many said angrily.

When Aries asked where he was, Leo said he got lost and ran into Hagrid and chatted.

"Technically he's telling the truth." Sirius pointed out. "The strategy of a true prankster." James said happily. Both of them ignored Lily's stern glare.

During the duration of the holiday, Leo noticed how his stuff would be mixed up or missing and popping up somewhere he was sure he never left it. He knew something was up when the twins came down with smeared ink on their faces. "Either it's Peeves or someone else is pranking us." George said.

Sirius and James shared a look and Remus sighed.

Leo was wondering why Harry and Ron were snickering.

Lily was frowning. Harry was turning as immature as his father. She thought.

He let it go however when the holiday ended, and Velvela and Neville came back.

Alice and the Longbottoms smiled.

Leo hugged Velvela and lifted her up off the ground.

"Aw!" Many women cooed.

Neville was glad to be back and was telling Leo about his Christmas. "Trevor kept escaping." Neville complained. "Don't worry." Leo said grinning.

"Aw." Alice gushed and Frank chuckled.

They walked to Aries who was trying to eat breakfast, but Tawny kept trying to sleep in his choppy hair.

"I actually forgot about her." Several people admitted.

"How long has she been doing this?" Leo asked. "All day." Aries said as Tawny squeaked.

"Mousy." Nymphadora giggled. Remus chuckled.

Harry came towards them one day after his quidditch practice. "Snape's refereeing." He said ominously.

"You. Are. Shitting. Me." James said in utter shock. Lily was shocked too. Severus hates quidditch. She recalled.

They all paled. "You have got to be joking." Leo said. "If something happens, can I get him?" Aries asked grimly.

"And he really is a Black." Sirius whistled.

"Oh, you gotta share cousin dearest." Leo said evilly.

Bellatrix cackled loudly.

Harry sighed. "Can you wait until after I've played the game?" He asked. "No we need to plan ahead." Aries said. Leo smirked. Maybe he could finally get revenge on the creep.

"Please." James and Sirius chorused. Lily glared at them. Shizuka and Liliana shared a fritening look.

Leo was outside with Aries, Ron, Velvela, Neville and Hermione watching the quidditch game. Leo was excited to see one since he missed Harry's previous games.

Their joy faltered slightly at the remembrance of the troll.

Leo kept seeing Aries glare at Dumbledore who was watching the game.

"Don't blame him." Regulus said.

While they waited Draco showed up with Crabbe and Goyle. He began to egg on Ron and tease Neville.

Lucius hid his face in his hands and Narcissa shrank slightly.

Aries and Leo sent them a pair of glares and they stopped briefly.

"My grandson is a brat." Abarax said. "Not this time around." Arcturus said with a look at the future Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy.

Velvela sighed tiredly at the whole thing and Hermione ignored them.

"Her friend skills still suck." Barty said.

"Oel." Aries whispered. "Sey?" Leo asked. "Dad rouy morf ginht emos teg uoy did?" Aries asked. "Sey." Leo answered. "Uoy?" He asked. Aries nodded.

Lily was grumbling about not being able to figure it out in her own.

Soon the game started. Harry was waiting for the snitch while the actual game was fast paced and Snape really did look like a bat.

James and Sirius shared a malicious smirk.

Leo and Aries cheered when one of the twins knocked the bludger close to Snape.

The marauders couldn't help but laugh at that.

When Harry got the snitch five minutes into the game a lot of crazy things happened.

"FIVE minutes!?" Regulus asked in shock. Narcissa had to close Lucius' mouth. "My son is AWESOME!" James cheered.

Draco had to say something and Ron and Neville began to fight the three Slytherins.

Of course, their grandfathers had to share stern glares.

Ron was wailing on Draco and Neville took Crabbe and Goyle on by himself.

Frank's mouth swung open and Alice was worrying her lip. "BOTH!?" Every Hogwarts student asked in shock.

Velvela was being crushed in Hermione's hug and Aries actually passed out on him and his vision kept flickering between grey and normal.

Regulus was concerned. What made Aries pass out?

Hagrid helped Aries off of the bleachers and Leo had to carry him towards the Hospital Wing. When they went down an empty corridor, Aries shoved away and leaned against a wall. "Aries, what happened?" Leo asked in concern. "Nothing. Just a headache." Aries insisted holding his head.

Regulus frowned. "Oh bullshit it's just a headache." Sirius said.

"Aries you can tell me." Leo said. "There's nothing to tell. I'm fine." Aries insisted.

"Oh, this will get ugly." Remus said with a sharp wince.

"No you're not!" Leo shouted.

The three Black sisters groaned. "Just like their fathers." The and Regulus went sheepish.

That's when Uncle Regulus decided to join them.

"You have the absolute worst sense of timing." Sirius said. Regulus nodded with a sigh.

"Danger." He said. Leo actually jumped. Since when could he speak?

Shizuka looked curious. "What danger?" Sirius asked worriedly.

"The school is in danger." Uncle Regulus whispered faintly.

"Safest place 'sides Gringotts they say." Ted said sarcastically.

"From what?" Leo asked. "Leo who're you talking to?" Aries asked worriedly.

Regulus winced. He couldn't see how this could end well.

"Sorcerer's stone." Uncle Regulus whispered again before going mute again.

"The package." Moody growled. "Oh my Godric." McGonagall said. "That's what the Cerberus is hiding!" Batry shouted. "But what was Dumbledore thinking? He just made the school a prime target for anyone who wants to get it." Charlus said with a frown. Many people paled at the notion. "This time around Hogwarts will truly be a safe place for student." McGonagall swore.

"By the way Minerva." Moody said to the Transfiguration teacher. "Why were you shocked when the book mentioned that their names were down since they were born?" The Auror asked. "The list writes down names when magic is first shown." She said. Everyone's jaws went slack. "That's a lot of magic for three newborns." Augusta said in shock.

"The sorcerer's stone?" Leo asked aloud. "Where did you hear about that?" Aries asked suddenly. Leo paled.

"This cannot be good." Liliana said with a frown.

"From someone." He said. "Who?" Aries asked imploringly. "Does it have to deal with your glowing eyes?" Aries asked. Leo grimaced. He forgot his eyes did that.

Regulus was hoping someone would kill the foreboding argument.

"So what if it does?" Leo asked. Aries glared at him. "You're not telling me the truth so why should I tell you any?" Leo asked hotly.

Regulus winced and Sirius was trying to hide his face in the collar of his robes.

Both of them barely registered their friends coming to talk to them. "Guys?" Harry asked nervously. "Boys." Dumbledore said softly.

"WHAT'S HE DOING THERE!?" James shouted. "He's the Headmaster, he's probably trying to prevent a fight." Lily said bossily. Liliana grit her teeth. She was losing her patience with Lily Evans.

"You don't need to know!" Aries shouted. "Why not!?" Leo demanded furiously. "I don't need you to protect me all the time!" Leo shouted. "You'd be so much worse if I didn't!" Aries bellowed. "I can take care of myself!" Leo shouted. "No you can't!" Aries snarled.

"Why did they have to be like you two?" Bellatrix asked. Both brothers were trying to ignore their oldest cousin. "What do you mean?" Lily asked. "They had a row when Sirius left home." Narcissa said nervously. Sirius was hiding his face and Shizuka was rubbing his arm. Lily huffed at him. So immature. She thought

"Guys?" Harry asked desperately.

James was worried and Liliana was twisting her long hair nervously. Remus was uncomfortable, he really didn't want to read this.

"YOU CAN'T TAKE CARE OF ANYONE!" Aries shouted. "ALL YOU DO IS CAUSE TROUBLE AND MAKE A BIGGER MESS! AND I'M SICK OF ALWAYS HAVING TO LOOK AFTER YOU ALL OF THE TIME!"

Sirius whimpered and Regulus bowed his head. James and Barty were comfortingly patting their friend's backs.

"I NEVER ASKED YOU TO!" Leo bellowed. "I HAVE TO YOU LYING FREAK!"

Regulus paled. "There is no way Aries would ever say that." He said in a deathly whisper.

Leo punched him hard in the jaw.

Regulus began to unconsciously rub his jawline.

Aries tried to fight back but Leo pinned him and started to land punch after punch on him. Leo was dragged off of him by Fred but he kept snarling and trying to break free.

Sirius was not coming out of his shell, and Shizuka was a worried mess.

Aries looked up at Leo with a shocked and horrified face that was beginning to bruise. "Lee-"

Remus read ahead and stared at the book in horror.

"IF YOU HATE ME SO MUCH THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM FROM KILLING ME!?" Leo shouted before running off past a shocked headmaster.

"WHO TRIED TO KILL MY SON!?" Sirius cried with red rimmed eyes.

He didn't know where and he didn't care. He just wanted to forget all of this. He ran and ran and stopped when he was well out of the castle and in a field near the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

Everyone winced.

Only then did Leo notice that he was crying. He fell to his knees and sobbed into his hands for the longest time.

Shizuka was wiping her eyes and Sirius sniffled.

He saw the hazy silhouettes of people and he ran off into the forest, with the tears still falling down.

"Oh, no…" Many whispered in horror.

Aries thoroughly hated himself. How could he say that to Leo? How could he say the same things the Dursleys said to them, to Leo?

Regulus looked down at his hands. Like father, like son Regulus thought.

Aries curled into a ball. All those high rising emotions made him nauseous.

Regulus was nervously twitching his hand.

He needed to catch his breath and then Leo started to question him, and he got scared. He was scared Leo would say the same thing he just said.

Regulus felt hs eyes sting and he shut them tightly.

He didn't mean it. He didn't. He didn't know why he said it, he just did.

Lily rolled her eyes. Bellatrix glared at her.

Harry was standing in front of him, with a horrified look on his face. "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!?" Harry demanded. Aries was guiltily looking down.

Sirius shuddered. He never wants James to be THAT mad at him ever again.

"YOU KNOW WHO CALLED US FREAKS! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!?" Aries actually jumped a bit in fear. He wasn't used to Harry being furious at him.

"James was terrifying." Frank admitted. Every Gryffindor nodded and James blushed.

"Aries, Harry, what did Leo mean by what he said earlier?" Velvela asked with a worried look on her face.

"I don't want to know." Sirius said. Shizuka was crying into his shoulder.

Aries could tell that Harry was too angry with him to say anything else to him. Aries curled into a ball and felt stinging tears drip. "I didn't mean it." He said. He kept repeating it, but each time he did it got strangled by the tears in his voice. He peeked and saw Harry marching off furiously

Sirius grimaced. The guilt was always the hardest part.

"I'm sure you didn't Aries." Dumbledore said softly. Aries just insisted he didn't mean it. Dumbledore sighed sadly.

"Why is he still there?" Moody growled suspiciously.

Aries froze for a moment. Dumbledore was here. And he was feeling a wave of achievement.

Regulus grimaced. As if he didn't like the man before the reading.

Aries peeked and saw him walk off, and noticed a movement of his sleeve. He saw him hide his wand.

"HE DIDN'T!" Regulus shouted furiously. Everyone paled. Did Dumbledore curse Aries into saying that? "Dumbledore will have hell to pay when I get out of here." Arcturus said coldly.

Aries felt horrified and sick.

"Not the only one." Agusta said appaled.

Aries could feel so many emotions turn his stomach. He felt like throwing up. Why couldn't he turn this stupid thing off!?

Regulus was wishing he could be there for his son… alive!

Aries felt someone gently pry his arms away and he saw Fred looking at him in concern. "Aries." He said carefully.

Septimus smiled weakly.

"I don't want your pity." Aries spat weakly. "You don't have it." Fred said. "But you need to go and talk to Leo." The twin said. "He hates me." Aries said brokenly. "You need to talk to him. Family argues with each other, it's normal." Aries looked up at him sadly. "But you have to go and apologize." Fred said.

Septimus smiled. He had good grandsons.

Aries nodded. He wiped his eyes furiously and he went in the direction Harry and Leo went off in.

Some people smiled weakly.

Aries wandered the entire castle but he only managed to find Harry. Harry had jinxed him when he first saw him and Aries felt like he got off lucky with jelly knees.

"How does he know that?" Lily asked surprised. To her annoyance she was ignored.

Soon they had to ask if anyone saw Leo. Aries was slowly dying on the inside. He NEEDED to apologize.

Sirius felt like this was some messed up karma for how he acted with Regulus.

"You two didn't find him?" George asked nervously. They shook their heads. It was dinner time and Leo's been gone since the afternoon.

Shizuka paled and Sirius whimpered.

Terry came running towards Aries and was out of breathe. "Aries! I've been looking for you!" "No time." Aries said solemnly. "Leo went off into the forest!" Aries paled.

"FIND HIM!" Sirius shouted. "Hayaku!(Hurry!)" Shizuka added frantically.

"Thanks Terry." Harry said quickly before grabbing Aries by the sleeve. By the time Harry dragged him into the corridor Aries sprinted down towards the forest border. He had to find his cousin.

Arcturus was looking at his two grandsons in concern.

Leo kept running until it hurt to breathe. He wasn't sure if it was from the running or the crying.

Shizuka sniffed.

He sobbed loudly and slumped against a tree. He shuddered and clutched his robe tighter. It was getting darker and colder.

Sirius was biting his lip in worry. It started to bleed.

Leo kept trying to remember the spells and charms he learned but he kept sniffling. "L-Lumos." She choked out and he got a small light from the tip of his wand. The forest was empty and soon Leo could start to see his breath mist.

"Where were the professors?" Arcturus asked derisively. McGonagall frowned and looked at her lap.

He stood up and walked off in a direction.

"He has no sense of direction!" Bellatrix said loudly. Many people paled. Of all the rotten luck.

He kept walking and the cold chilled his tear tracks. "I'm not a freak." He told himself. "I'm Leo." He said.

Shizuka wanted to hold her baby so much at those lines.

He kept looking around and kept trying to find the castle.

The marauders grimaced. He was deep in the forest then.

Soon the sun left and it was night time. Leo shivered badly with every step. He forgot his winter coat.

Sirius ignored his bleeding lip and hugged Shizuka closer to him.

Soon Leo wandered on to the most horrifying thing he has ever seen. It was a dead unicorn.

Everyone paled in utter horror.

The pristine white unicorn was stained with its silvery blood. Its neck was slashed and it lay there on the cold damp ground.

Alice choked out a sob.

Leo felt his tears resurface before he wiped them quickly. He can't cry now. Something was here and it was killing unicorns. He needed to get to somewhere safe.

Moody nodded. There had to be priorities.

He wandered past the unicorn and kept trying to find a way out, but after he passed the unicorn a second time he pulled his hair and cried loudly. He felt utterly hopeless. He was going to be stuck here.

"Keep looking!" Ted shouted.

He heard the sound of people yelling and he ran off towards it, but couldn't find anyone.

"If he doesn't find a way out of the forest, I'm going to have a heart attack." Andromeda said. Many people agreed with her.

Soon he turned past several ancient trees and saw a unicorn standing there. It was silver in color Leo was awe struck. He remained motionless when the unicorn trotted over on golden hooves. Leo was shocked when the unicorn nuzzled his hand gently. Leo smiled and slowly raised a chilled hand to brush against the unicorn's mane.

Shizuka smiled a bit. Perhaps this was a turn of luck.

Leo giggled when he saw the barely budding horn under the silky mane. "Hello." He whispered. The unicorn nodded and nuzzled his hand again.

"How sweet." Xenophilius said.

Soon the unicorn went rigid. Leo turned around and saw a figure in a trailing black robe.

Shizuka's hopes died quickly and young.

Leo pushed the unicorn into running and took off. He managed about five steps when he was tied up in a series of binding ropes that slithered over him.

"LEO!" Nymphadora cried with tearful eyes.

Leo desperately reached for his wand but his mind drew blanks. "BOMBARDA!" Regulus shouted. "Bombarda!" Leo shouted causing the cloaked figure to shoot back.

Sirius decided to thank his brother for every prank he ever pulled on him for that.

The ropes coiled tighter before Leo had a plan. He inched over to a sharp rock and cut the ropes loose. He began to run quickly when he saw the cloaked figure run towards him.

"RUN!" Liliana shouted.

He ran and hid in the hollow of a tree. He held his breathe when he heard the cloak slither over the cold ground. Soon the forest was silent again.

Peole sighed in relief.

Then Leo heard two familiar screams.

"HARRY!" "ARIES!"

He ran as fast as he could. He eventually found Harry holding his head in pain and Aries trying desperately to get him up.

James was rigid with fear and Liliana was crying. Dorea held a death grip on her petrified husband, and Regulus was clawing lines into the arms of the chairs.

The cloaked figure walked closer and Leo swallowed his fear. He ran at the cloaked figure and distracted them.

Sirius was proud under all the pants soiling fear he felt.

He got a bit too close though when the figure grabbed his hair. Leo cried out in pain as his hair was pulled HARD.

Shizuka was rigid in fear. She began to silently to every diety she could think of to get her son out safely.

Leo looked up in horror as the figure had silver unicorn blood dripping down the font of it. Soon Leo's head was loose and he could see the figure holding a handful of his dark hair.

Several people were relieved.

The figure ran off scurrying, before the sounds of hooves could be heard. Leo turned his now-lighter head to see a centaur. This centaur had almost white hair and shocking blue eyes.

"A centaur?" Many asked in shock.

Aries and Harry ran over to Leo and both hugged him. "I'm so sorry, Lee." Aries sobbed. Leo felt his tears fall as he hugged his cousin tightly.

Regulus smiled sadly.

"Strange tidings upon you young ones." The centaur said. "Thank you mister." Harry said. "I am Firenze." The centaur greeted. "You are the Potter boy." He said to Harry. Harry nodded.

"Even the centaurs know who Harry is?" Charlus asked in shock.

"What was that thing?" Aries asked with a shiver. "A human." Firenze said. "Did they kill that unicorn earlier?" Leo asked nervously. The centaur nodded solemnly.

Many spat scurrile curses at the evil it takes to do so.

"It is not safe for you three. Especially for you three." The centaur said before lowering himself.

"NO FUCKING WAY." Sirius said in shock. James was speechless and Regulus resembled a fish out of water.

They all watched in shock. "Climb on; you cannot walk in this state." Firenze said. They all clambered on and huddled for warmth on the centaur's back.

"Holy shit." Barty said in shock.

"Do you boys know what unicorn blood is used for?" Firenze asked. "The tail is used in wands." Aries said hugging Leo tightly. "We use the horn in potions." Harry added.

McGonagall nodded.

"You see, unicorn blood can save you even if you are an inch from death, but to do so you are forever cursed with a half-life." Firenze explained. "Wouldn't it be better to die?" Leo asked. "Most would think so. But only the most evil and desperate would do so." Firenze said.

Several people shuddered.

"And they would wish to harm you." The centaur added ominously. "Was that Vol-" Harry asked before more hooved interrupted him.

"VOLDEMORT!?" James asked in unbridled horror. Several people shivered and paled. "But didn't Harry vanquish him?" Lily asked. "According to some people." Dorea said in dawning horror. "I wouldn't put it past him to do something foul to extend his life." McGonagall spat.

Two more centaurs came in. One was a furious black haired centaur with an equally angry red headed centaur. "Frienze! Why do you have humans upon your back!? Are you some common mule!?" The black haired one asked furiously. "Bane, I'm sure there is a reason why Firenze has done so." The red head said placating.

"That must be terrifying to the boys." Augusta said.

"One is the Potter boy. Another is a medium. And the oldest is one of Danu's descendants." Firenze said.

"Danu's descendent?" Regulus asked in confusion. "A goddess of Ireland." Xenophilius said. Regulus looked puzzled. "Why would he call Aries that?" Regulus asked. "Perhaps Saorise has a connection to Danu." Xenophilius said. Regulus looked contemplative, but he shrugged it off. He couldn't see himself marrying someone who wasn't a pureblood.

Ronan looked surprised. "We centaurs have agreed not to interfere with humans! Have we not sworn to read the stars?!" Bane asked angrily.

"I am hoping Bane calms down soon." Septimus said weakly.

"Mars glows brightly, but I have done what I must." Firenze said heatedly. Leo felt bad for getting them all in trouble. "As you wish." Ronan said before leading Bane off with him.

"I kinda like Firenze." Sirius said.

"Sorry for getting you in trouble." Leo apologized.

Shizuka smiled wetly.

"It is no issue, young medium. It is expected for young ones to need help when separated from the herd." Firenze said.

"No kidding." Frank said trying to lighten the mood.

"Mars is bright?" Aries asked. "Mars has shown brightly for many a night." The centaur said. Aries was quiet for a while.

"Isn't Aries a Greek variation of Mars?" Lily asked. The Black family nodded.

"Mr. Frienze isn't Mars the god of war?" He asked. The centaur nodded. "So war is coming?" Aries asked nervously.

Everyone paled. They never want the boys to go through a war. EVER.

"Aries?" Leo asked in concern. "That is your name, Eireling?" Firenze asked curiously.

"Huh?" Regulus asked. "I believe he's referencing Aries' Irish ancestry." Xenophilius said airily.

"Yes." Aries said. "You are timid for one with Mars' alternate as a name." The centaur noted.

"True." Sirius said in a weak joke.

"I'm not brave. I just think." Aries said. "Wisdom is nothing for one to be ashamed of." Firenze said.

"Amen." Many said.

They rode on towards the edge of the Forbidden Forest. They all slid off of Firenze and thanked him for helping them.

Lily nodded at how polite they were being.

"Be wary young ones. There are those who would seek to shepherd you to your demise." Firenze said. "Dumbledore?" Aries asked in shock.

Many had dark looks on their faces.

The centaur said nothing.

Lily looked smug.

"Farewell young ones, may the stars be wrong about your fates." Firenze said in farewell.

"I really don't like that." Liliana said.

They walked up to Hagrid's hut and Hagrid let them in.

"That's the end." Remus said before closing the book.
