Chapter Eight

Antidote Spreading

I sighed as my dad moved the bunk bed from my bedroom and up into the attic. Kiba's parents returned back from their anniversary trip so he went back to his home. I am seriously going to be lonely now. It was 10: 30 P.M and I was tired as Hell. Kiba and I spent the entire day playing basketball and causing trouble for our teachers. Hey it is summer vacation they can't give us detention! I walked inside the bathroom and turned on the shower. I took off my clothes and stepped inside the bathtub letting the warm water trace its way down my body.

I was forgetting each day about Sasuke Uchiha and being afraid of the mirror. Sometimes even thinking about it makes me afraid a little. Thoughts about the supernatural and ghosts just terrifies me now more than ever.

After I was done showering, I walked back into my bedroom. I dried myself off and put on my pajamas. I turned off the light and crawled into my bed. I shut my eyes and fell asleep not fearing crazy dreams about something trying to kill me.

Five Hours Later

I groaned as I sat up in bed and look at my alarm clock. It was 3:30 A.M. My throat was really dry and I wanted a drink of water. I looked around my bedroom with sleepy eyes and saw a figure sitting on top of my desk. My heart beat quickened; my breathing went heavy as I opened my mouth to scream. But as I was about to scream something went over my mouth and pushed me down on the bed. My eyes widened as I stared at something with red glowing eyes. Am I dreaming? Is this a nightmare? What's going on? The thing leaned down and whispered into my ear.

"I'll let you speak if you promise me that you won't scream," I nodded and they let lifted their hand from my mouth.

"Who are you?" I said as they pinned my hands down on the bed.

"Have you forgotten me that easily?" they said as I remembered. The only person that I knew that can have red eyes is Sasuke.

"Sasuke?" I said as he let go of me.

"So you haven't forgotten me," said Sasuke as I got up and turned on the lights. He simply raised his eyebrow at me and I gave him an innocent smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm bored," said Sasuke as I stuttered.

"What am I supposed to do about that?" I asked as he grinned. "And it's 3:00 o'clock in the night. I want to sleep!"

I turned off the light and crawled into bed getting under the covers. I felt him grab my hand and bite it.

"Ouch what the heck!" I said angrily as I snatched my hand away from him.

"Humans are so fragile," said Sasuke as I sat up in bed.

"What do you want?" I asked annoyance laced in my voice.

"I told you I'm bored," Sasuke said.

"Newsflash Sasuke. Humans sleep at night," I said as I shut my eyes.

"Well newsflash Naruto. Demons don't," Sasuke said as I sat up annoyed.

"Well too bad!" I said "I'm a human. So go find another demon to play with"

"But I want to play with you Naruto," Sasuke said as I frowned.

"Quit being a spoiled brat," I said as I searched for my cat. "Kyuubi? Where are you?"

Suddenly a red and orange bundle crawled into my arms. I smiled and hugged my fluffy cat.

"Look Kyuubi. Meet the annoying Demon Sasuke," I said as Kyuubi meowed lazily. "Now excuse us Sasuke as we're going to bed"

I watched as Sasuke rolled his glowing red eyes as I laid back down and hugged Kyuubi to sleep.

"You're such a kid Naruto. Who hugs their cat to sleep?" Sasuke said as I rolled my eyes.

"Goodnight Sasuke," I said as he snickered.

"I'll be seeing you in the morning," Sasuke said before leaving somehow.

How long have I've been inactive? Probably for a long while. I'm sorry. It's just a lot of shit has been happening and of course my lack of motivation. Well I've been writing but I just haven't been updating. Or something like that. Love you guys. -AngelForever
