Chapter Twelve
Synchronization In Synch
I sat on the bathroom floor as my shoulder blades kept bleeding and my head kept ringing. I don't know what's happening to me but I hope it's not life threatening. I grabbed the counter top and pulled myself up as I looked at my shoulder blades. There was something coming out of them, something white! Is it my bones? I reached over my shoulders and poked my fingers inside my shoulder blades. The white things were squishy. So it must not be my bones.
My heart started to beat fast as the ringing in my head started to get louder and louder. I grabbed the counter top as I tried to keep my balance steady. Why do I so suddenly feel heavy? What's happening to me? Is this worse than the nightmares or better?
Why do weird things always happen to me? And this time I didn't even do anything to deserve it. I took my jeans off and staggered to the bathtub. I got inside and turned on the shower. As I stood under the steaming hot water I saw the water pooling around my feet turning red. I didn't even do anything freaky to deserve this.
Should I even tell someone about my back? But if I did they would think I'm some type of freak and send off to a scientist where they would do crazy experiments on me. I grabbed my shampoo and worked it into my hair as I ignored the loud high pitch sound in my head and the pain of my ripping shoulder blades.
After I was done lathering my hair with shampoo I lathered my skin with body wash. My heart was still racing, my head was still erupting, and my shoulder blades were still ripping. I could feel it. Something was being pushed out of my shoulder blades. But I just don't know what or why. I turned the shower back on and stood under the hot water as soap and blood flowed down my body.
I turned off the shower and wrapped my towel around my waist as I stepped out of the bathtub. I looked at myself in the mirror and gasped. I was pale. Extremely pale! I couldn't have lost that much blood. I turned around and looked at my back. Tears came streaming down my face as I saw my shoulder blades completely torn apart and something white covered in blood coming out! I opened the bathroom door and quickly walked into my bedroom. Shutting the door behind me I threw my towel on my desk and put on my pajamas.
I crawled into bed and cried as I felt something moving inside my shoulder blades! What's happening to me? I nearly jumped as I heard my phone vibrating. I picked it up and looked at the screen. Ino was calling me.
"Hey Ino what's up?" I asked trying to sound completely normal. "How mad were your parents at you?"
"My parents were extremely mad. But they're cooling down right now. What about your parents?" Ino asked.
"My parents were really angry especially my mom," I said with a small laugh.
"Naruto are you okay?" Ino asked sounding a little freaked out.
"I'm fine. Why do you ask?" I said as Ino laughed.
"No reason really. Listen I got to go," Ino said. "Bye Naruto. Love you."
"Bye Ino. Love you too," I said as Ino hung up.
I wonder what's wrong with her. I put my phone on charge and laid down on my bed with my covers over me. The thing in my shoulder blades was squirming, wiggling, and moving. I could feel it! I hugged my cat into my chest as tears came streaming down my face. Something is inside me and it's alive. But what is it? Or am I just going insane?
Is insanity better than having something inside you? I quickly put my hands over my mouth as I screamed in pain. The thing was tearing my flesh apart and pushing its way out of me! I didn't want my parents hearing me scream or else they would consider sending me to a child physiatrist.
Ever since I was a child I always had back troubles. Is this thing that's being pushed out of my shoulder blades the cause of my back problems? I hugged Kyuubi to my chest again and closed my eyes. I don't want to be awake anymore. I just hope my parents don't come into my bedroom.
